While Brad Pitt was getting drunk and showing off his cosmetic surgery at Wimbledon this weekend, Angelina Jolie was once again in New York with her kids. The photos in this post are of Angelina out to dinner with Pax last night in the Village. That young man’s cheekbones are incredible!! Anyway, Jolie has been a regular in New York over the past year, and we recently learned that her Atelier Jolie fashion collective will be housed in New York, at Jean-Michel Basquiat’s old workspace. I actually wondered aloud if a permanent move to New York was in the cards, given how much time Angelina and her kids have spent in the city recently. Well, it looks like Angelina is apartment-hunting:
Angelina Jolie is on the move. The “Maleficent” star was photographed apartment hunting in New York City with her 19-year-old son Pax and 18-year-old daughter Zahara over the weekend. The trio landed at JFK Airport on Thursday and hit the streets for their search the following day.
Pax dressed casually in a white tee and black pants as they scouted, while his sister paired a graphic tee depicting Tupac Shakur with bike shorts and Converse sneakers. The Oscar winner is also the mother of Maddox, 21, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15, whom she welcomed with then-husband Brad Pitt before their divorce.
I’ve seen some speculation that Angelina is about to do or has already done a major photoshoot in New York, possibly for Vogue? Which would make sense – she hasn’t been on Vogue in years, and while she’s prohibited from promoting film projects because of the SAG strike, she can totally do an interview and photoshoot to promote Atelier Jolie, perhaps using herself as the model for the designs made by refugee artists? Anyway, if she is moving to New York, I’m very happy for her. The whole point of basing herself in LA for the past seven years was to be physically close to Brad Pitt so that he could have some kind of visitation with the kids. But he sold his Los Feliz property and moved out of town. So… whatever. Welcome to NYC, Angie.

She looks beautiful… is been hot in NY so not sure of the coat … perhaps she was in meetings all day ( AC) but dang, it was super hot and sticky yesterday!

She is less than 3 years away from being tied to Brad via her minor children. I bet she is ready and planning a major move from “Mayor Brad” (remember that grossness during one of the awards shows (Golden Globes?) when everyone kissed his ass and called him the Mayor?) and all the industry people who support him.
She is so interesting to me.
She lives her life, moves forward, close to all the kids even as they are starting off on their own.
AJ has had a lot of turmoil in her personal life since childhood.

That was my first thought too! It’s so humid and warm in the Northeast, I can’t imagine. I feel like I’ve noticed that a lot with her and a few other celebrities, I don’t get it.
I wonder if she’s truly moving there full time, or this is part time to get the business up and running. I can’t imagine her youngest would want to move in the middle of high school.
Me 🖐️ I’m that person in the summer in a blazer/ jacket and pants. I don’t know about her, but I’m both anemic and allergic to sun. I dress in away that even if I “look” hot I’m not.
I am anemic too, so is AJ. She’s said that many time. As we speak, I have on a jacket and I am freezing where most people would say that it’s hot.
Lol same here, I’m in my office in NY right now wearing long pants and a blazer! 😁 I’m one of those people that is often cold, and on top of that my office always ridiculously overcompensates with cranking up the AC whenever there is a heatwave, so it’s always freezing!

Yes, I work from home now, but back when I worked in an office, I would freeze in the summer with the air condition. My hand turns into ice cubes when using the keyboard for more than 10 minutes and drinking multiple cups of tea to keep warm 😅😂

Also, here’s another thing that I do, I sleep with a think blanket at night with the air conditioner and definitely in the winter. I drink lots of tea, coffee hot cocoa and room temperature water

Brad is drinking again? Was he drunk at Wimbledon? I missed that news.
Again? He never stopped. No one believed that he quit, only people that hang on to that abusers every lying word. The media doesn’t report it but there are many pictures of him with alcoholic drinks. Plus his girlfriend is not sober. Instead, we get fed from the media how vindictive Jolie is and how she’s jealous. Even though she’s out here living her best life without him.
I like how Angelina has balanced her acting and other interests with her family. No fuss, no hassle. Just getting things done. ✅
As someone living in New Hampshire and family in New York, the trench coat makes sense. It has been one of the rainiest summers on record, and she was probably going from an air conditioned building to an air conditioned car.
After all, she’s wearing something underneath the trench coat and could take it off when it’s too warm.
The air-conditioning was my first thought also. It’s 85 outside and I have a cardigan and space-heater on in my AC’d office.
He was never really sober. And how is he sober when his current gf is a pot user herself and likes to drink . I am surprised no media reported on this, there are photos out there of her buying weed. He was high during the filming of his movie in England as well. Kudos to this woman for her strength and resilence. People misjudge her so heavily.
I get the Trench coat. They are lightweight and she isn’t in any kind of heat from one bldg to the other.
Hopefully those type of coats will be in her line. She has become a muse for them.
I think Pax will be heavily involved with this project. I’m interested in how she became interested in fashion and art maybe she is influenced by one of those kids.
If so I see her invested in helping them move forward in life like the older two with college and such. She is a dedicated mom and loves those kids so much.
Pitt moved away but he did buy a small home closer to hers. Don’t know why, she asked the judge for a restraining order.
She should have a 2nd home there because her office is there now. 60 grand a month with a ten yr lease is a lot. An apt is costly too but mama got it!

Angelina has my continuous support, her grace and resilience under so much pressure is so admirable. And kudos to her for supporting the individuality and interests of each of her children and protecting them from as much intrusion as she can.
Very happy that she is moving, I expected London, but NYC is perfect for her new stage of life.
I think she will move to the Uk once Atelier Jolie in NY take off and she doesn’t need to be there full time.
AJ was a bit of a hot mess in her teens and early twenties but my god she has turned her early pain into greatness. She is a world class philanthropist who gets involved in the nitty gritty of how to help women and children. She doesn’t just throw money at a cause she gets involved to find solutions going forward. She’s also a rock for her children. And thank god she is a rock given who their father is. What a great woman, mother and absolute icon she has become!
I agree! I also think it speaks volumes what good terms she is on with her other two ex-husbands, Billy Bob Thorton, and Jonny Lee Miller. Who is the only one different here? Pitt lol.
And it was her interest in philanthropy and refugee work, her adoption of Madoxx that changed things in her marriage to Thorton, according to both their accounts. She grew up, and wanted to make a difference, outside of herself – I think it was really that simple. I have always admired her, but even more now, for how she has carried herself with class and fortitude through this divorce with Pitt, trying her best to protect her children. She seems like such a good mother!
She’s had a lower and upper face lift, too. You can’t blame them.
