It’s wild to watch, in real time, as every Hollywood trade paper completely ignores Brad Pitt as he works through the strike. Pitt was still openly filming his Formula 1 movie in Europe for two weeks after the SAG-AFTRA strike was called in mid-July. Pitt’s people put out quotes that Pitt was a “good union member” and that he deserved a cookie for finally putting the film on hiatus well after the strike. Keep in mind, this movie is being produced by Apple, and it has not received any kind of waiver. While the production is mostly in Europe, Pitt (and several other cast members) are SAG-AFTRA union members. They’re scabbing and it’s an open-and-shut case.
Speaking of, there are some random internet reports that Pitt will be at the Italian Grand Prix (in Monza) from September 1-3. Very few people are talking about it, but it does appear as if he’ll attend the Formula 1 race and possibly film some scenes there. This is not the first report of Pitt quietly attending and filming at various European races in the past month. I guess we’ll see when the film comes out, what was filmed where and when people will begin to piece together just how thoroughly Pitt worked throughout the strike. The promotion for this film is going to be pretty wild next year.

That really sucks if it’s true. The unions are working incredibly hard to negotiate fair contracts for all of their members — if some people are undermining the strike, it will put the studios in a better position to hold out, assuming that if some members are willing to cave, others will eventually too.

this will surprise no one. although I hope it cheers you to know that my husband and son were at silverstone and Pitt was completely ignored by other drivers (besides Lewis) and the crowd, who couldn’t have been less interested. his target audience I would have thought, we’ll see.

Once a SCAB always a SCAB…. sag aftra are two faced hiw they openly ignoring Brad Pitt’s scabbing despite putting out fake statement hid he supporting SAG-AFTRA yet he’s not, shooting never stopped he worked both as actor and producer on this F1 vanity project to compete with Tom Cruise.

I guess Brad pitt wants to carry on filming is because of his plastic surgery that he’s had ,he wants to carry on with the same face not different faces like he did in Babylon his face was melting on screen with so many wrinkles and puffiness , and now that he’s had latest new Plastics surgery which has settled ,he wants to keep on shooting, I’m kind of just ashamed that Hollywood stands by this domestic abuser and his scab . SAG-AFTRA should be calling him.out instead they keep radio silence because of his power within the industry… just soo sickening to witness how untouchable this children abuser Pitt is
He and his team are fighting hard to prove that he is a the movie star of the world. I can’t take this man and his ego anymore… He should get real and realize that nowadays few celebrities stand out and Brad Pitt is not one of them. The only thing he’s known for now is “the guy who left his family for Hollywood”
