Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef have already settled their divorce. They announced the end of their marriage in July, almost one year exactly after Ricky’s nephew dropped his claims of a sexual relationship with Ricky. Ricky and Jwan were married for six years and they had two children together, and Ricky has twin boys who were being raised by Ricky as a single parent before he met Jwan. For the kids’ sake, I’m glad everything was settled quickly and quietly, although I’m left with the impression that Ricky has enough money to silence everyone and make them go away.
Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef have reached a divorce settlement.
According to court documents, obtained by TMZ, the former couple entered into an uncontested written agreement. Details have not yet been disclosed, but at the very least, we know they’ll both be declared single once the judge signs off on their agreement.
‘It has been wonderful. I even told Jwan we should write a book about how to get divorced properly,’ Ricky (born Enrique Morales) told Telemundo Puerto Rico on August 1. ‘It has been much easier than we thought, but we’ve done it with time and calmness.’
The divorce has been in the works for a long time as the couple ‘already went through a grieving process’ well before the COVID-19 pandemic within the confines of their $13.5M seven-bedroom Beverly Hills mansion. Ricky and Jwan share two children – daughter Lucia Martin-Yosef, 4; and son Renn Martin-Yosef, 3 – and Martin is a single father to 15-year-old twin sons Matteo Martin and Valentino Martin.
‘My children never saw a fight between Jwan and me,’ the Ácido Sabor singer stressed. ‘Jwan and I will always be family. We have two children that we are going to raise together.’

Already went through a grieving process BEFORE the pandemic? So their marriage was over or on its last leg even back in 2020? I didn’t know what to make of those “open marriage” rumors, but maybe they were true. In any case, I hope the kids are okay and I hope Jwan got a nice settlement.

Sounds like Ricky agreed to everything his ex- husband wanted and more. Jwan knows a lot of Ricky’s secrets. Good Jwan and the children.
The timeline doesn’t add up if they made the decision to part and grieved the marriage before COVID, but they have a 4 and 3 year old. I mean, a “fix-it” baby is certainly possible, but combined with the other accusations against Ricky by his nephew I wouldn’t be surprised if Jwan found out something that he couldn’t live with and bounced.
I just hope that they’re good parents to the kids and can be cordial for their sake.
I still think Ricky did some shady sh!t and Jwan was over it. The story with his nephew is just suspicious to me but I hope all heal especially the children.
Everyone is quick to blame Ricky. Maybe he is an awful person. I don’t know. I’ve never been a fan. But it’s also impossible to unring a bell. Ricky will always be assumed to have used his money to have silenced his nephew or bought off his ex-husband. A shame, reall, , if he’s innocent.
