Jeremy Sisto is bringing his mom and mother-in-law on his honeymoon

Earlier this week there was some controversy over the fact that Colin Farrell and his girlfriend, Alicja Bachleda-Curus, had gone on vacation together to Mexico without their seven week-old baby. Some of you pointed out that Alicja’s mom was visiting and was most likely taking care of the newborn at home while Colin and Alicja enjoyed the beach.

When my son was that little I was nursing and wouldn’t have gone out to dinner without him, not to mention spending the night away. When it was my anniversary and my son was one I still couldn’t bear to be apart from him for the entire night, so we took him with us to the hotel. Obviously that extreme mothering instinct passes eventually. My husband and are on the same page when it comes to parenting so it wasn’t a strain on our relationship. Different people have different approaches to parenting, though, and I wouldn’t judge. It was more of a compulsion for me to be around my son all the time than any kind of philosophy. I kind of admire parents that can be more nonchalant about that sort of thing.

Law & Order star Jeremy Sisto has come up with an inventive way to go on his honeymoon with his new wife without leaving their adorable six month-old daughter behind. He tells Star Magazine that he’s bringing both his mom and mother-in -law along to take care of the baby!

Newlywed Jeremy Sisto is psyched about his upcoming honeymoon in sunny St. Bart’s, where the busy Law & Order star will kick back with his bride, Addie Lane, their 6-month-old daughter, Charlie Ballerina – and his mom and mother-in-law! “I never thought I would say, ‘I’m bringing my mom on my honeymoon,'” Jeremy, 35, tells Star. “But we were nervous about leaving the baby behind… they will be there to help us so we can enjoy some alone time.” As for adding to his brood, “we’re taking it one day at a time,” says Jeremy. “But the idea of a big family is cool!”

Jeremy Sisto never really registered for me before as I only knew him as the crazy brother on Six Feet Under. He got kind of worked up on the episode of Punk’d I saw him on ages ago and I assumed he was a hothead. Then I saw a bunch of different photos of him out with his adorable daughter in a carrier. He looks so proud and happy and you can tell that he’s really taken to fatherhood. That’s cute that Jeremy is taking his moms along to help with the baby! With grandmothers you know they will dote on your child and treat them like their own.

He first came on my radar as Elton in Clueless. And I loved his turn as crazy Billy on Six Feet Under. He does look as though fatherhood suits him.

I thought he had some sort of stuffed animal hanging off of him. That poor kid. I wonder if they’ll put antlers and a red nose on her for Christmas?

  10. AlaskaJoey says:

Ha! I thought the kid was a Cabbage Patch doll. Round face, and at first glance the fur trim on the hood looks like curly hair. They look like a nice, relaxed, very non-Hollywood couple.

    Charlie Ballerina, WTH?

I hope she likes ballet, cuz softball is gonna be hay-ell.

Better put her in school with the rest of the rich & famous children with fruitcake names, so they don’t all end up with complexes and go postal.

How cute!! I think its a great idea. I love Jeremy Sisto; he is the definition of creepy-hot! lol!

  13. Cakes says:

This is a little creepy to me. I would not want my mother and my husbands mother and a kid with us on our honeymoon. Yikes he might as well invite his aunties and grandparents and have a family reunion

  14. Ally says:

But he was so cute in “Clueless”!

There is also a deliciously over the top 1995 teen horror film with him and Silverstone (and Jeff Goldblum) where he’s at his cutest/sexiest despite playing a raving murderer. It’s called “Hideaway”.

Buy it, rent it, by rights it should be a cult cheesefest film!

Uhhhhh…did anybody see the movie “Wrong Turn”? I LOVED him in that movie! He’s gained some weight, but still looks wonderful! I wish him & his wife & his daughter the best of luck in life!
