‘Royal experts’ are crying about Duchess Meghan’s memoir, which does not exist

Over the past four or five days, the British royal reporter hive-mind has been obsessed with one subject: the Duchess of Sussex’s memoir, which does not exist and probably won’t be written. This is how desperate they are for any Sussex content. They’ve got every delusional old fart doing commentary about what Meghan “will write” in her memoir, and they’ve already created an entire narrative about how Meghan will lie about Kate and this will absolutely be the final straw and after that, there would be no way (!!) for Harry and Meghan to ever “come back.” As always, I am here to bring you the lowlights so you don’t have to click on any of those horrid stories. The Sun ran an exclusive in which they cited Tom Bower and Angela Levin – two of the most racist and delusional bigots I’ve ever seen – as the sources for the “Meghan’s memoir” rumor. Then the Sun got Phil Dampier’s extensive comments on the false story:

Now royal commentator Phil Dampier has spoken out on the subject, and fears it will be the Princess of Wales who will be in the firing line, if the book rumours are correct. He told Fabulous: “Harry’s Spare was a best seller and Meghan’s would probably sell even more. It would also be the ideal opportunity for Meghan to put across her view of what happened to her when she met Harry, fell in love, joined the most famous family in the world and then left. She would give her side of what really happened between her and Kate in the run up to the wedding, when each allegedly made the other cry.

“Everyone will be fascinated to hear Meghan’s take on her relationship with Kate, whether she was hostile or welcomed her from the start. She probably thought she should have got equal billing and didn’t seem to appreciate from the start that she and Harry were the B team, not on the same level as William and Kate. She will probably talk about comparisons that were made in the press between them and will come across as bitter.”

Phil says the royal family will be feeling “very concerned” about the contents of any book that Meghan writes. He added: “The royals will assume the worst and brace themselves for more revelations. It would only make the relations much worse, but I still don’t think the royals will hit back. They will stay quiet and soak it up, even though they will be deeply hurt by it. Their policy was for Harry and Meghan to run out of ammunition, but unfortunately they have plenty left in the form of a Meghan book. There is nothing she won’t twist to justify her position.”

And Phil reckons that if Meghan were to also dish private details about the Prince and Princess of Wales, it could be the end of any hope of a reconciliation. He added: “It really would be the last straw and I doubt William and Kate would ever talk to Harry again.”

And while the firm may be worried about Meghan putting pen to paper, Harry, 39, will give her his support. The royal author added: “The couple are struggling to make money at the moment as they lost their Spotify contract and this would be a massive money spinner. I personally don’t think Meghan ever intended to stay in the royal family. But that won’t stop her concocting her own narrative of events to justify her actions, and I’m sure Harry will back her up 100 per cent. They are still friendly with Princess Eugenie, and I hope she talks to them and persuades Meghan not to write a book. Even if it’s not justified I think Meghan has now convinced herself that she is right and can’t see the other side’s point of view. She will claim she is putting forward her truth even if it’s not always the real truth.”

[From The Sun]

“She would give her side of what really happened between her and Kate in the run up to the wedding, when each allegedly made the other cry.” Meghan already gave her side to Oprah, which is that Kate made her cry. Harry gave his side, which is that Kate made Meghan cry. Kate gave her side to multiple reporters for years, which was an ever-changing story about how she threw a tantrum about children’s tights and then she cried salty white tears because Meghan is Black. “I still don’t think the royals will hit back. They will stay quiet and soak it up, even though they will be deeply hurt by it.” Ahead of the Oprah interview, Kensington Palace launched a fully unhinged smear campaign against Meghan.

Anyway, as this goes on and on, I become more convinced that “Meghan’s memoir” was the Oprah interview and the Netflix docuseries. That was Meghan’s version of events, and the Windsors should be grateful and thankful that Meghan is a million times more discreet than they’ve ever been. They abused her mercilessly for years and she’s just focused on the present and future, not the past.

They are so fortunate she is gracious and emotionally mature. Because she could absolutely relay entire conversations of how horrible individual members of the family were to her. Almost every negative story was laid at the feet of the “grey men” as Diana named them, and the press.

    • Wannabefarmer says:

I’m hoping some day she does and bring that house of cards with their naked emperors down.

      • Shawna says:

Or if the RF sink themselves and she can write her book post-monarchy…! Then she can really spill the beans.

    • StillDouchesOfCambridge says:

I bet these conversations about meghan are not 100% delusional. The reporter probably asks them something like “there’s probably a very slim chance that you ever see them again, but what would make you absolutely cut off the cords with them?” And they would say meghan’s memoirs. And then we get stupid stories like these

    • nona93 says:

How can the press allow, and presumably encourage, the likes of Angela Levin and Tom Bower to continue writing such confected misinformation and lies about the Sussexes and Meghan in particular?
Meghan is described as “a fiercely intellectual woman questing for knowledge” and a desire to connect with people. and it is a disgrace to continually dig up rubbish to distort everything known about her. This says more about the publication and its’ ethics than Meghan.
The writings of Angela Levin and Tom Bower, in thrall to their Royal masters, whether direct or indirect, says it all.
Levin reported that she herself suffered denigration under her own mother. “Capricious and irrational, anything and nothing could trigger her temper. She endlessly tried to demean me and put me down, telling me I wouldn’t ever amount to anything — a comment, I was later to learn, commonly used by controlling parents.”
This begs the question how she can now want to inflict the same pain and savagery on another innocent woman who may not be perfect but who has shown she has much more character and talent than Levin to offer for the benefit of humanity.

  2. Wannabefarmer says:

In other words, they KNOW the sh&t they and their overlords have done to her and they are terrified she will tell it all. GOOD.

Seriously, Meghan is an angel. That picture of her on the walkabout, geezus that woman is beautiful. She just exudes vulnerability, kindness, all that is good about the world. No wonder she avoids toxicity.

    • MoxyLady007 says:

I do feel weird being truly invested in the lives of two people I don’t know.

But dear god I can’t even look at those pictures. We were all so scared for them during the funeral. It was just SO long and the hits kept on coming and the press was rabid and Meghan looked so vulnerable and scared.

That walk about was probably meant to reassure us or something but it did the opposite. Although it did show William could easily act cordially to his brother and sil in public when required while Kate could not. That was fascinating.

I’m sure that is not longer the case. Williams mental health is either finally being shown for what it has always been or it has taken a steep nose dive since Harry and Meghan left the cult.
      Probably both.

      • Campbell says:

Totally agree. They both looked so vulnerable and yet Harry was in full protect Meghan mode, he knew the knives were out for her, he’d already talked to Charles and knew how they were going to treat her. Then the glares Kate was giving her – so openly hostile. No wonder Meghan doesn’t want to return ever.

    • Brassy Rebel says:

@Wannabefarmer: I wish someone would ask these fabulists why the royals are so terrified of memoirs from folks they never see or talk to anymore. Obviously, there is still tea to be spilled from Meghan’s nightmarish time within “the firm”. And it’s probably the hottest tea of all.

      • acha says:

Yes, totally this. Meghan has never mentioned any of the following:
        — William’s affair(s)
        — William potentially hitting on her
        — Keeping her family away from Prince Andrew
        — Camilla being a nasty b*tch

And oh, I BET Meghan has some tales to tell.

      • roooth says:

It’s called “Coniousness of guilt”. They know exactly what they have done and are still doing

      • Libra says:

I’ve been trying all morning to come up with this phrase. It fits perfectly here. I heard it years ago on Court TV (Savannah Guthrie) but I haven’t seen it used for a good while. Thanks @roooth.

    • AC says:

I think the BRF would be fearful if M decides to write a book, if she ever writes a memoir(which I don’t see any hint of that kind at this moment in her life). As they know that will be a big scandal. I think we can figure out and guess why W is acting so super drastic with her and why K is super jealous.
It’s interesting the BP is stirring the pot on something that M isn’t even doing currently.

      • Agreatreckoning says:

@AC, did you mean the BM and not BP? I see the BM stirring the pot more than BP/palaces. After all, the British Media has been the largest target of the O interview, the Netflix series and SPARE. The BM and it’s tentacles have been the ones claiming Harry’s book deal was a 4 book deal. Guessing it’s a hard swallow for them that Harry may have been paid $20 mil for one absolutely best selling book of truths.

That being said, I don’t like speculating on a Meghan tell all memoir. She’s a better person than most. The stories she could spill would be a delicious read and she has receipts. Much like how Harry said in SPARE he’s saved his texts with his brother. Part 2 of SPARE-the dropped 400 pages of Harry’s memoir is what thems over there should be worried about.imo

      • AC says:

@agreatreckoning Yes, I agree with you. I meant to say British media stirring the pot. She’s living quietly in Montecito and trying to move on. It’s no wonder she may never want to set foot in the UK again.

  3. Shawna says:

The ease with which he spins an entire hypothetical narrative, from beginning to end, is eerie but familiar. It shows that most of the stories similarly written are similarly fantasies.

    • Swaz says:

That’s exactly what I was thinking 🧐 they lie with such ease 😮😮😮 maybe it’s being written by AI.

      • Shawna says:

I think the truth is worse: the way their brains work and the way they write is so derivative and cliched that it’s *as if* they were using an automated process.

    • Christine says:

“Harry’s Spare was a best seller and Meghan’s would probably sell even more.”

They are trying to speak things into existence, this time trying to bait Meghan. They WANT her to write a book, they are practically foaming at the mouth.

Have fun with that, royals. You can see that your beloved media is turning on you, right?

    • Debbie says:

Now that they’ve released this first hypothetical version of their fantasies, and it’s been picked up and repeated a few times by other “reporters” in other papers their scheme is going according to plan. After a brief lull in this story, then you’ll hear some non-media person (last time it was some British history professor) claiming, “I hear that Meghan is writing her memoirs… Won’t she ever stop slapping the queen?” It’s a pattern, they spin these webs out of whole cloth, then they rely on their own manufactured fantasies as though they were facts in order to write about the Sussexes, or to accuse Meghan of doing something that they dreamed about her doing — in their dreams of her.

Off-topic but I just love that top photo of her in the car. The blur suggests fast travel, like she’s saying “Bye, b*tches!” She looked very tense, but I wish I could do stressed and tense that well.

  4. Andy Dufresne says:

This is just ridiculous! Meghan had already said her piece on two different programs! Let it go!

What I do want to hear though, are news of an upcoming separation announcement and the floodgates of shady Middleton info.

  5. HeatherC says:

I love how they tell on themselves. They’re all so worried about this imaginary memoir because they know they’re guilty of everything Meghan might reveal….and more. Every article like this just pounds home the facts of why Harry and Meghan had to leave for their own health and safety.

  6. Lau says:

She should just write a memoir about her life and stop right before she met Harry just to make those horrible people cry harder.

    • JayBlue says:

      I love this!

    • MoxyLady007 says:

      😂😂😂
Or it starts with the move to their current home and never mentions the RF.

Just their work to establish themselves and their foundation. If she has any mom guilt. …… that’s for me. I need to work on the mom guilt. It’s like a pack a piranha some days and like a cocaine loving grizzly other days. Sigh.

    • Blubber says:

      Or like this:
In England I met my faboulous husband, we fell in love and married. I was lucky to meet his grandmother, the Queen, a wonderful woman. Our son Archie was born and then we left. That is all what is to say about this country.
That would be a meltdown… No mention of the other Royals or the press.

      • Agreatreckoning says:

I kind of see what you’re saying @Blubber, except H&M don’t hate/dislike England/UK as a whole. Their issues/troubles/smearing came from the British Media and “The Firm”/BRF members that threw them under the bus time and time again. H&M don’t hate Brits/UK citizens or the UK countries. Harry has clearly stated what he’s disliked at least a decade before he met Meghan.

It holds true to this day.

  7. Wow so they are now re-writing history before she even decides to do a memoir. Fascinating. Salty isle tabs need some more fairytales to write so they came up with this? They truly have lost the plot. The have all been infected with some kind of insanely sick brain virus 🦠 and it is eating what was left of their little brains. They are wondering around with not a lick of sense.

  8. aquarius64 says:

I still think there’s a fear from BP & KP Meghan will do a book because Spare didn’t tell the whole story. There’s a bigger fear a Meghan book would turn the US completely against the BRF because it went after a US citizen. This would ruin William’s plan to “win over” America.

    • Chris says:

I hope she does have a memoir written and ready to go with every detail in it. And I hope she’s communicated it to them that it will be published right away should anything happen to her or Harry or their kids

  9. Eurydice says:

Well, at least he admits Harry’s book was a best-seller – that’s one true thing.

    • Christine says:

I can’t believe that’s progress, but it really is. The bar truly is in hell for the British media.

  10. Renae says:

I think Meghan will write a memoir but years from now. Most of the British Royals do. …..eventually. Eventually is the key word.
They come out with dairies/or self-serving pablum (ala Wallis Windsor sop piece The Heart has its Reasons).
Meghan, being one smart cookie, will eventually put one out if for no other reason than to not let others define her. She will wait and bide her time but it WILL be written.

    • BeanieBean says:

If she does write one, she could always do what Mark Twain did–write a proviso that it not be published until 75 years after her death.

  11. QuiteContrary says:

As I wrote before, Meghan has wiped the salt from her Aquazzura pumps and moved on.

    This anti-fan fic is deranged.

  12. MrsCope says:

“She probably thought she should have got equal billing and didn’t seem to appreciate from the start that she and Harry were the B team, not on the same level as William and Kate.”

No, it was frustrating to be told that your bare minimum was too much and would outshine everyone else. She never needed to be on the same level as William and Kate, just needed them to do their part!

But these articles talking about the motives, feelings and thoughts of a human being they’ve never been in a room with, let alone had a conversation about, are so gross.

    • Christine says:

“No, it was frustrating to be told that your bare minimum was too much and would outshine everyone else.”

I think this is the most accurate description of Meghan’s time as a working royal I have ever read!

    • bisynaptic says:

Also: Charles and Camilla were the B team; Kate and William were the C team; and so on. These people don’t even have their team hierarchies straight.

  13. Amy Bee says:

Phil Dampier knows that the family did terrible things to Meghan. I agree with Kaiser Meghan said her piece about her experience in the Royal Family in the Oprah interview and the docuseries. As Meghan said a few weeks before the coronation she’s moved on. What probably hurts the press and the Palace the most is Meghan is done with the Royal Family and is not interested in gaining their acceptance.

  14. fineskylark says:

Honestly, I feel a bit like the best revenge is to do nothing for the next 20-25 years, and just let the rota twist themselves into will-they/won’t-they pretzels about it until then.

  15. Jais says:

The story of an American woman entering the BM and the absolute nightmare it became. Talk about an amazing memoir topic. The BM and others would all love Meghan to tell her story. I’m starting to think she never will. Like yeah, she could tell it years down the road but that would bring such heat, which of course shouldn’t stop her if she wants it known, especially in terms of defining who she is in a historical context. But I could also really see Meghan just not wanting that. It’s her choice and just the fact that she even has the freedom of choice must drive the RF mad. Rather than a memoir, Meghan could actually select passages from her journals and publish those with maybe some comments from the present reflecting back. But again, I’m not sure I can even see her wanting to do that either.

    • MoxyLady007 says:

I think if she does ever write anything – with the intent to publish and not just to journal – it will be for her children.

They will start to hear or see some of the stories at some point and they will be confused and angry and sad. And they might want their mom to fight back or set the record straight. And she will be able to point to the times she/they did and the backlash and how sometimes – the best way forward with abusers is to let them choke on silence and dust.

But they may still want it. And your kids mental health needs are a very strong motivator.

    • Blackapinay says:

The only memoir there is is the other Royals telling on themselves thru the trash tabloids. All we need to do is sit back & watch them destroy themselves from within. Harry & especially Meghan have moved on.

  16. Robert Phillips says:

I admit I only keep up with this on this site. But wasn’t most of spare and the interviews aimed at the press? And how the tabloids were so horrible. Yes there was some about the royal family. But wasn’t the major part about the men in grey and the tabloids? Yet according to the tabloid writers. It’s all about the other royals. Are there really that many people in England who’s entire jobs revolve around the royal family.

    • Anna says:

You’re not wrong. Harry didn’t mention his family nearly as much as he mentioned the bureaucracy involved in the BRF and their dealings with the press. In fact, Harry was really KIND in how he spoke about Charles, in particular.

With William though, Harry mentioned that they weren’t as close as the press had people believe (to Harry’s own disappointment), the call out for the Nazi uniform mess (which name checked Kate), that William told him that he’d never get approval to create Invictus (HAH), and the physical assault. It sounds like a lot lol but they were snippets compared to the details about his military life, his trips to Botswana, and his grieving of his mom into adulthood.

    • Agreatreckoning says:

@Robert Phillips, a new “royal expert” is born everyday! Even in “American” publications. Did the American in quotes/inverted commas because the majority are Brit/Aussie owned, like OK magazine US, is owned by Rupert Murdoch protege Dylan Howard, former whatever titular title of the National Enquirer. Now head/owner of Empire Media Group. If you’re looking for authenticity of stories…look up their ownership. Egads. Katherine Tinsley? did the story the other day about Harry looking to buy property in England for XYZ reason and of course! Meghan didn’t agree.lol fyi, no one fom the Sussexes camp is sharing info to a Dylan Howard/BM/Murdoch media.imo

It’s a sad state of affairs that so many BM urinalists are people that write about the BRF-especially writing about the ones that are no longer working royals.

  17. Harla A Brazen Hussy says:

I would absolutely love it if Meghan dropped, say a cookbook with no advance notice, no promotion, nothing, just dropped it cold. It would scare the pants off of the RR and the “family”, proving that Meghan could drop something else and no one would ever know, until she’s ready for them to know.

    • Anna says:

I love the power Meghan has to even do a Beyonce level drop. 10/10, obsessed with how they show their work when the work is done and let it speak for itself.

    • Agreatreckoning says:

I would love that! Bought 4 of her Together cookbooks and gave 3 of them away as gifts to people I knew would appreciate them. Two weeks ago I was told by one of the people I gifted the book to, (slightly crying), has a son that is a sous chef in a local restaurant that has a diverse menu. She told me that he shared the cookbook with his employers. There are now 2 (with some variations) menu items from the cookbook on the menu. It helps that one of the owners is very into non meat meals. That’s IMPACT. Not me personally, but the Together cookbook, the Grenfell women and Madame Duchess who brought their recipes to the forefront with love, understanding, compassion and belief.

  18. Naye In VA says:

“Probably Probably Probably, I believe, I think, I believe”

    How is this even journalism

    • MoxyLady007 says:

The phone in psychics on the psychic network speak with more authority and less dithering.

    • equality says:

It’s not. It’s legally safer though so you don’t get sued for stating it as fact. However, the derangers do take it as fact and that makes the fiction they write dangerous for Meghan.

  19. girl_ninja says:

I would love a Meghan memoir and not just for the royal messiness, but because I enjoy Meghan and would love to hear about her life. I enjoyed listening to Harry’s narration and l LOVED listening to my favorite, Lady O’s memoir. It’s just so pathetic how obsessed they are with Duchess Meghan and it’s all because they envy her.

  20. B says:

Anyone else notice how the UK press is concern trolling Kate? They endlessly bring up the Middleton money issues out of “concern”, talk about the signs being put up in their neighborhood out of “concern”, and now speculate about Meghan writing that Kate was hostile to her from the start out of “concern”.

With “concerned” friends and silent agreements like this who needs enemies or media bashing.

  21. MsIam says:

Well I guess since Meghan didn’t launch her Instagram account in “two weeks” like they predicted, they’ve moved on to “writing her memoirs”. Funny how they know all of Meghan’s plans except the real ones. So eager to seem like they are in the know when they don’t know ish.

    • one of the marys says:

the current thing the tabloids know and are analyzing to death is the plan to buy or arrange a property so they can live part time in England. I’m seeing articles about that when i open a browser. the tabloids are sure creative when it comes to filling columns

  22. lanne says:

The ultimate troll for Meghan: a memoir of her early life up to metting Harry. Then pick up after she and Harry have returned to california. She will write about her royal life at a “later unspecified date).

The ratchets will howl, but they’ll also make the book a best-seller, just by stretching every possible reference (a purple coat is a DIRECT REFERENCE TO THE QUEEN).

Her continued silence is driving them insane. They swore she’d bo on every talk show and every reality show dishing royal dirt. Her silence about the royal family offends them even more. It’s proof of how little royal life (which they have dedicated their lives to, as observers) matters to her.

They consider her very existence without them as a middle finger in their direction. How DARE she live without talking about the All Important Royal Family!! How DARE she not pine away for their loss! Umm–she dares just fine. And proves that the royals and royal life don’t really matter.

Her happy life with Harry makes the royals and the royal industrial complex look bad. They look dowdy, fusty, and irrelevant. They are legends in their own minds and nonentities everywhere else.

  23. Jay says:

Wow, that spun out pretty fast into full out fanfic! But there are some unintentional nuggets here that show the derangers for what they truly are: The reference to Meghan needing to “accept” that she was always going to be “the B team” and not “deserving” of equal billing is pretty revealing. Her “crimes” were being a much better worker, too popular and this making the so-called A team look bad. Sometimes I wish the BM could see how bad this looks to the rest of the world!
I hope someday Meghan does write a memoir, but I don’t think she’s writing one now

    • Gabby says:

Yes. That “B Team” comment really stuck out. Bower chose to write about Meghan, and Levin chose to write about Harry. Why not write about WanK?

I never hear these two human stool samples talk about the “A Team” in their television interviews.

  24. MikeB says:

My gosh, Phil Dampier has a lot to say about something that hasn’t happened and wont happen. Didn’t he comment on the Oprah interview before that happened? Angela Levin has been talking about the non memoir for months both in the UK and Australia.

    • Debbie says:

You mean to say that she takes this act on the road with her? Dear God.

    • Agreatreckoning says:

No, it wasn’t Phil Dampier-twas Richard Fitzwilliams & Dickie Arbiter, father of now ‘no eyelashes’ Vickie Arbiter, supposed single mother who has no record of being divorced from her husband.

I’ll go off again on Angela Levin. Liar of Liars should be her title. I will say again, she did not have a sit down interview with Harry. She did not spend a year or a year and half with Harry. They did not have a relationship. She did not accompany him on events between 2015-2017. As, Harry said in SPARE, (without naming her), she wrote a book about him proving she depended on him paying for her rent. B*tch still does. I’m aghast that the publishers of Angela’s Harry book didn’t fact check. Not so much with Newsweek. They’ve published so much unverified rubbish since the turnover that it’s hard to keep track.

Has AL been talking much about her best buddy Wootton? She wrote a whole book about Max Clifford and him being wonderful (which she actually has proof of). Nothing can be said the same about time spent with Harry.

      • Agreatreckoning says:

Clarification: Max Clifford is not wonderful-AL has tapes of her interview with him while in jail and all the fucked up things. The conclusion has always been that Levin was on Clifford’s side because he was famous. She is one of the ultimate clout chaser’s regardless of some of their skeevy activities. No wonder Harry discounted by not naming her in SPARE along with the rest.

  25. Maxine Branch says:

One of many things I admire about Meghan is she seizes the moment with her authenticity. Watching the videos that were available from that funeral were so touching. You could see through her movements how she remained so conscious of her every movement. Something many of us do when faced with a hostile environment. , it was so raw and many of us were pulling for her and her husband to make it through that hostility and get home safely. Here’s to hoping she is never asked by her husband to put herself through that again. (Sure she wanted to say her goodbyes to the Monarch).

Agree with most, Meghan said her piece through the Oprah interview and the Netflix docuseries. The rest coming from those gutter gossipers is just noise from a lack of Sussex content and guilt from what they all put this woman through

  26. Sunshine says:

99% of the time I hate that she and her mother are so nice.
The things that Bower (William/Tom Sr), Levin (Camilla) and Tominey (Kate) say about Meghan and her mom are the most racist slurs and lies and should not be left unmitigated.

    • Maxine Branch says:

I so agree. Deeply admire their restraint, something I do not have. You come for me fine, you come for my family, I see blood and react with reckless abandonment

  27. Teagirl says:

This is what they do. They invent a story, publish it far and wide and have it picked up by other publications as though it were the truth, and then when it doesn’t happen, they take credit for having stopped it. In this case when the book fails to materialize, they will come right out and say Meghan was cowed into not writing/finishing it by the public outcry. Bastards.

  28. Campbell says:

Very glad you read the awful stories so we don’t have to. I don’t like to click on any of them!

  29. Kingston says:

““The hardest thing to do when you have success is to keep your mouth shut when people are saying all kinds of BS about you.” – Tyler Perry

I believe this ^ is where H&M are now in their journey of the rest of their lives. Hell, they already told us: theyre focused on the present and the future; their “look-back” projects are done and dusted. So those salty left-overs on Shidthole-Isle will never get the rise out of H&M that theyre so desperately seeking.

Having said that, it is my firmly-held belief that at some point in the not-too-distant future, perhaps when A&L turn 18….perhaps after theyve both graduated from college and H&M are empty-nesters, by which time chucky may or may not be dead but certainly, the BRF will have had some obvious and un-H&M-related, self-inflicted wounds on a scale that the world sees clearly and can join the dots accurately, M might write something that could be a mixture of: semi-autobiography/memoir/historical tome. Much in the vein of how Liz Garbus chose to set the H&M Netflix docu within the context of the BRF history. But with M’s book, she would also include her own heritage. Perhaps it could be a joint H&M project.

Because I do agree with the school of thought thats says, forgiving those who hurt you frees you; but I also believe that speaking your truth about what happened to you, also frees you.

I believe that both H&M share these 2 sentiments^ so I guess we’ll see. We’ll all see how it goes…….if we all live long enough.

  30. Grace Yancy says:

The RF better thank their lucky stars that Meghan ain’t saying a word.
And after all the negativity the firm threw at Meghan & her children, no one would blame her.
By the way, they’ve received the Spotify money. Just like they received the money for SPARE and Netflix.
Harry has a bunch of jobs!
    They’re not worried.

  31. Jaded says:

The royal author added: “The couple are struggling to make money at the moment as they lost their Spotify contract and this would be a massive money spinner.”

WTAF?! They’re rolling in money Phil, they got paid A LOT by Spotify, by Netflix, by Harry’s book. They’ve come by their fortune by dint of hard work, good work, and they will continue to outshine WanK by leaps and bounds because they are dedicated to bringing good into the world, not merely showing up for a photo op for 10 minutes then effing off.

  32. Feebee says:

I don’t know why this is so shocking in its brazenness. I mean we know they make up things so they can talk about the Sussexes all the time, but this one just feels like they really want this one to have legs. And it’s so obvious. There’s not ever as far as I can recall been a time that M was ever writing a memoir.

This is so clearly a chance to abuse her again through salty analysis of nothing but their own fantasties. For all their fake pearl clutching, they’d be having an orgy of epic proportions if it were true.

I also believe M has said what she wanted to say with Oprah and Netflix. She excised that demon so she could move on with peace.

  33. Becks1 says:

I do think Meghan will write a memoir someday, but I think it will be many many years from now, and her time in the royal family will only be a blip on that radar. I think when she’s older she’ll sit down and write her memoir, but it won’t be now.

I honestly think the Cut article scared the BRF – the part about how there is a lot she could say but doesn’t and she never signed a NDA.

    • lanne says:

I agree. And when she does write about her experiences, her time in the royal family will be a chapter of her book, just like it was a chapter of her life–2 years full of some incredible highs (Harry, Archie, wedding with her friends and family–maybe some good experiences on tour) and appalling lows (the royal family, the media). But still, just a chapter in a richly fulfilling and successful life, full of love and family and friendship and good times.

  34. Saucy&Sassy says:

What caught my attention in all of the garbage written is that Meghan will go after Cant. Is someone going to blame H&M leaving on her for the separation/divorce roll out? As far as the rest of it goes, that’s just the bm filling column space. When Meghan doesn’t respond and it doesn’t happen (unless YEARS down the road), they’ll just come up with something else to write about. They really don’t care that they contradict themselves. They assume everyone is stupid and don’t notice.

I’ll sit back and see what they write about Cant next.

  35. Emmitt says:

Meghan will write a memoir. It’s just not going to be any time soon.

The barrage of “Meghan will write a memoir lying on Kate!” stories are coming from Kate’s camp, who need somebody to blame for William putting S P A C E between him and Kate.

  36. dido says:

How many times have we heard ” “It really would be the last straw for Kate and William….” like whatever hypothetical thing that will happen will be the cause for K+W not talking to H+M… as if they’re already on friendly speaking terms. Their only relevance is holding this hypothetical “last straw” while icing out their brother and sister in law. Wild.

  37. Melly Mel says:

The lie that keeps going unchecked is how Harry and Meghan are hurting for money, and that’s why they have to do XYZ. I used to be an author. Harry’s advance was massive and he paid it back, plus some. Within the first week. First week. That is incredibly rare in traditional publishing. Even a small advance can take years to earn out. He earned out millions in the first week, then Spare was a bestseller for months. Those kinds of sales are never have to work again a day in your life money and neither will your children’s children.

And on top of that it was the Summer of Suits, and it’s looking like Suits Reign of Fall. The last thing Harry and Meghan need to do is ANYTHING for money.

    • Debbie says:

You’re absolutely correct about your analysis and, to me, their “hurting for money” narrative is just a resurgence of the BM’s wishes when the Sussexes first left England and the BM were going on and on about how they would never earn enough money and would therefore have to return soon (Please God!). I guess the BRF thought something similar since they went along with the press’s one year review thing. At around that time there were even British cartoons showing the Sussexes working at McDonald’s, which tells you how fervently the BM needed to believe the Sussexes would fail. Look at it this way, the BM revive this narrative whenever they see signs that the Sussexes are doing well and living well. I think it soothes their anxieties about H & M’s success.

      • Melly Mel says:

I definitely think all of British media and even the BRF are extremely upset their wish for them to be broke never panned out. They honestly thought Harry and Meghan would have to scrap and beg for money, and that’s why they would have have to crawl back to the BRF, and also suck up to the British media.

They honestly do believe the titles is what gives them status and what brings them money. They’re not entirely wrong. Who would bother to make nice to Charles or William? They are boring, stodgy, and the only thing interesting about them is that they were born royalty. And especially as the next King, they never had to have an actual personality.

They truly live in the bubble. I say this because the thing that always stands out to me is Harry’s omission in Spare that he never thought to hire attorneys outside of the BRF’s attorneys when he and Meghan wanted to sue the Daily Fail when they printed her letter. Like, how sheltered is your life that you never think the attorneys on hand keep giving me the run around, so let me find other ones? That seems to be the norm when you seek out attorneys. Not that you don’t have a case, but that uummm. Well…. ??!!

  38. AC says:

“New royal commentator Phil Dampier has spoken out on the subject, and fears it will be the Princess of Wales who will be in the firing line”
This just tells me that K and the Midds are going to get thrown under the bus(and not by Meghan- she’s just their scapegoat).

    • lanne says:

They want her to go after Kate–but there’s absolutely no reason for her to do so. Meghan doesn’t exist to fulfil their White Damsel in Distress fantasies. Meghan probably said very little to Kate. Kate is no woman’s friend, and Meghan would have sussed that out–Kate is a Wannabe Cool Girl who will step on another woman to get what she wants. The only thing to do with women like that is avoid them. My guess is that she exchanged fewer than 1000 words over seven years with Kate. Why should she? What interests do Kate have? What could they talk about other than the most basic of things? Kate was probably told not to talk to Meghan by her husband and by her mother. So there’s literally no story there. We know that Kate made Meghan cry over some damn dresses, in the middle of all the stress Meghan was experiencing with her father. Kate showed who she is in that moment, and in letting every single White Woman stereotype stand without a word. She’s no friend. That’s why she has no friends.

  39. L4Frimaire says:

This sounds like the desperation to continue royal drama and also to make the ones left in the UK still seem remotely interesting. Agree that the docuseries and Netflix was Meghan’s way of getting things out, and yes there was a lot more she could have said, but they are moving on. She may eventually write a book but it may not be what they think it will be. They are so desperate to insert themselves in the Sussexes present life.

  40. J.Ferber says:

The header picture looks like the foursome walk where that big, scrawny brute Kate terrorized poor, quailing Meghan. I will never forget (or forgive) Kate for that. She looked like a killing machine. I have NEVER seen a worse picture/story about Kate. She is DEPLORABLE.

  41. Mrs.Krabapple says:

“She will probably talk about comparisons that were made in the press between them and will come across as bitter” — oh, you mean like THESE? https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/ellievhall/meghan-markle-kate-middleton-double-standards-royal

So Meghan DOESN’T have a right to feel bitter when Kate is praised for her “elegance” in using lily of the valley flowers at her wedding, while Meghan is accused on risking little Princess Charlotte’s life with her poisonous lily of the valleys? Do the tabloids intend to deny that they fanned racist attacks on the Sussexes with their “Compton” and “Niggling” headlines, then accusing the biracial woman of making English rose Kate cry and trying to poison her lily white daughter?

I think the tabloids know Meghan isn’t going to write anything. So they feel emboldened to accuse Meghan of lying, then when the book doesn’t come out, it will be because “Eugenie” or someone convinced Meghan that she shouldn’t print things that aren’t true, and Meghan stopped out of fear of legal consequences. So some such cr@p. And the racists will continue to believe it.

  42. BeanieBean says:

For some reason, this piece of fiction irks me more than so many of the previous fictions. It’s just full of speculation about the worse possible things a person could write about someone, then saying how awful a person she is for having done so. All based on a fictional rumor that she’s written a memoir. 😤. They are so disgusting; have they hit the 9th circle of hell yet? Is it at all possible to go lower?

  43. JudyB says:

Well, at least the media has given Meghan a good outline for a potential memoir. That would save her a lot of time deciding what to put in it and how to organize the final version!

  44. Befuddled says:

I hope she does write one. She seems like she’s in a much healthier and happier place now so I doubt she would. But there is a part of me (the vindictive, petty part) that stays wanting her to go scorched Earth on them. I hold grudges though 🤷🏻‍♀️

  45. Nic919 says:

Meghan said all she needed to say about Kate during the Oprah interview. She doesn’t need to speak that woman’s name again. And she has moved on.

Besides we all saw Kate’s awful behaviour at the commonwealth service and then at the funeral walkabout.

Harry added a few stories to confirm that kate is a shallow petty person, but she’s not worth anymore mental space for them.

Because Kate just doesn’t matter. And that’s what kills these rota.

  46. Bad Janet says:

I feel so badly for her.

She fell in love – she hoped to do good – and they tried to destroy her. She left – and they still try to destroy her. The obsession is outrageous. And when one considers they have done all this just 20 years ago to someone else… Good God.

  47. bisynaptic says:

LOL they’re practically BEGGING Meghan to write a book. 😂
