Prince Harry posed with surfers Kelly Slater & Raimana Van Bastolaer at the F1 race

We’ve seen this time and time again this year, especially when Prince Harry and Meghan are outside, hanging out with celebrities and being A-list: the British media suddenly clams up and gets a serious case of amnesia. They’ll cite South Park (and now Family Guy) endlessly as evidence that “America hates the Sussexes,” all while leaving out Beyonce concerts, MLS games, fundraisers on Kevin Costner’s sprawling real estate, and now, Harry’s appearance at a F1 race in Austin, Texas. Where are the conspiracies about Kevin Costner and the LA Galaxy and Beyonce? That’s right, they can’t come up with anything because it would mean admitting that the Sussexes are A-listers who are welcomed in the most elite spaces.

On Sunday, Harry surprised everyone by showing up at the United States Grand Prix in Austin. He was a special guest of Mercedes and he spent time in the pit, hanging out with Team Mercedes and Team Red Bull. Now we know that Harry was also hanging out with some of the surfing legends who were also in attendance. Raimana Van Bastolaer posted a selfie with Harry and a pic of Harry with Kelly Slater and “yoga guru” Gerry Lopez. That’s very cool. Harry is always stopping for celebrity photos these days.

There is footage of Harry meeting Max Verstappen too (around the 2:20 mark).

  1. Good for Harry out and about meeting and networking with different people and having fun. He looks great and happy. Let the heads explode on salt isle🤯🤯.

I’m pretty sure I can hear things popping off on the other side of the pond. Maybe it’s just teeth gnashing, cushion throwing, and salty tears falling unnoticed into 17th-century crystal vases. Most F1 races have been boring this year. At least this one was slightly more interesting. Like Taylor and the NFL, cutaways to Harry made the race more enjoyable.

I would love to hear from Harry now. With his experience and trauma of dealing with the UK press from childhood into adulthood- and how flashbulbs provoke a trauma response- now that he is in a different environment, and has had a bunch of therapy to heal-

He looks so happy and relaxed. He looks like he is enjoying the heck of out of his life as a rich, handsome husband and dad, with a lot of A-list currency. People want to be around him, and he seems to genuinely enjoy himself at events.
    I certainly hope he does.

I love this for him. He’s always been a great public personality, and before his memoir/invictus he seemed to no longer want to show us that side of himself anymore. I’m so glad he’s back out there, just meeting and greeting at light-hearted events, and looking so happy and comfortable doing so.

The British media are going to be so mad that Harry loves to take photos with celebrities when their whole narrative is that it is Meghan who loves the spotlight and not him.

This makes me happy. He seems like a true extrovert- whether he is or not – he seems to be doing a lot of things that are genuinely good for him and make him happy.

I do wonder if he’s making a lot of trips like this – networking, meeting people, learning about the way different orgs are run etc – and we just don’t hear about it. That would be cool too.

He looks happy and relaxed and like he’s enjoying life. It’s wonderful to see.

I do think he’s an extrovert, but I think for him there has been so much trauma associated with being in public, meeting new people etc, that I think it made him more of an introvert for a logn time, even if he still enjoyed meeting new people etc – I think he definitely needed to recharge the way introverts do.

I think now he is so emotionally healed that his extrovertedness (thats not a word LOL) is back, you know? He’s able to make those emotional connections in public with new people without the trauma that was always associated with it in his previous life.

Shows like Family Guy and SouthPark cater to a certain demographic of the incel population so they don’t really matter. It’s clear that over here they are celebrities. Uk press is like when stans on social media claim the real stars don’t like Kim’ and her family then Kim and her family is at every party or event that their fave is at they suddenly ignore that fact. I like the fact that Harry and Meghan are mingling at public events.

  7. Maxine Branch says:

That South Park and other mess of a show are simply clout chasing the Sussexes for relevancy. The Sussexes are thriving, in love and very happy to be at home in Monticeto. Harry is able to mingle and relax in the company he chooses as well as Meghan. Those folks in the bitter UK media are just mad that each of their narrative explodes because they have zero insider information on the Sussexes. Love the choices the Sussexes now are able to make on their own terms in their own time. To me this is called living your best life on your own terms.

    I love this for Harry.

  9. J.Ferber says:

Harry looks relaxed, healthy and hot as hell. Freedom and good living will give you back your life. Good Prince Henry.

  10. Mei says:

How long before they connect Harry enjoying F1 to ‘wah why is he enjoying a petrol-guzzling sport aren’t they supposed to CARE about the planet please ignore W & K who helicopter everywhere’?

Keep doing what you’re doing Harry, it’s making the trash press here SO mad and I love it.
