Here’s a new photo of Queen Camilla visiting her husband at the London Clinic on Sunday. That was her fourth trip to the hospital in the space of three days – she went with Charles when he checked in on Friday, then she returned during “tea time” on Friday following his procedure, then she visited him on Saturday and on Sunday too. No shade, I find it sweet – even if they mostly live separately, she wants to be there for him during his prostate issue. Most married couples would do the same. And that seems to be the other message from Cam – look at me, I actually give a sh-t about my hospitalized spouse, unlike some people.
Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace was initially a bit loosey-goosey for the king’s recovery timeline. While the king was praised for disclosing his prostate issue, they’ve played it by ear as to when Charles would be “back at work.” Now that the procedure has been completed and Charles is reportedly doing well, the palace is firming up a timeline: Charles will probably be MIA for a full month.
It is understood King Charles will not carry out any royal engagements for up to a month as he recovers from prostate surgery.
He will have a ‘period of recuperation’, Sky News reports, but will be able to attend to government papers once he is discharged.
Queen Camilla was [on Sunday] seen smiling as she visited her beloved husband and appeared to be in high spirits as she was snapped with a warm smile on her face. Wearing a teal-coloured top, smiled as she entered the hospital’s back entrance in a black Audi car at noon, followed by a Range Rover. The Queen’s visit was her third to the private hospital since she arrived with Charles on Friday morning ahead of the procedure. She stayed for three hours on Saturday at the London Clinic – the same hospital where the Princess of Wales is being cared for following abdominal surgery.
She told people inside the London Clinic on Friday that the King was ‘doing well’ after the procedure.
I’ve heard some doctors speak on news programs and they basically said the same thing, that everyone is different but given Charles’s age, it would probably be four to five weeks before he would feel recovered enough to do events. He will probably just work from Clarence House or Highgrove, doing phone calls and reading. Get ready to see more of Camilla throughout all of February, she’s going to be the only senior royal doing events.

A very self satisfied look on her face.
She looks like the cat that ate the canary. So smug because she knows her constant visits are making William and KP look bad. She didn’t have enough with destroying Diana, she wants to destroy her sons too. Too bad William is too stupid to fall for it.

Fawcett used to be there to help Charles when he was sick. If he’s not there another valet would help out plus nurses and doctors visits
Well she is doing what any wife would do for their husband when they are sick or in the hospital. Also makes Peg look bad for his one visit so that’s a plus. So she is killing two birds with one stone. I bet Chuckles is happy.
Charles as I recall was a fuss budget when he was sick. Things had to be just right the food. The linens and so on. I think Camilla will get some respite because the chefs and valets will have orders given to them by the king.
I can’t see Chuck being totally happy that Cams will be the only senior royal working while he recuperates – the Edinburgh’s well def step up but its clear that the heir won’t be made to. I don’t know if I buy that he’s being made to into therapy because he did something to Kate – I think this is him taking advantage of the situation to do nothing.
Given the dragging he was getting on twitter yesterday about his lack of visits to see his sick wife and father who are/were in the SAME HOSPITAL – he needs to do something to change the narrative. He is not coming out of this looking good.

I didn’t know they are at the same hospital. That’s hilarious. He can walk around windsor great park in peace. I know he is having picnics and long walks. Who cares about the weather!
Another thing. William seems like the type to pretend to go to the hospital. Lol. Just drive pass looking serious for the photogs.
It’s so bonkers that she’s getting called out for this, because isn’t this what we all do when a loved one is in the hospital? When my dad was sick with cancer, my mom basically lived at the hospital and I flew home as much as I could to see him.
It’s weird to not go see someone when they’re there. I honestly don’t understand why the Cambridge kids didn’t go see Kate while she was at the hospital. I know it’s scary to see a loved one there, but I’d be more freaked out as I kid if my mom just disappeared for 2 weeks.
I’m sure she was facetiming them. I don’t know if I would have wanted my young kids to see me in the hospital with all kinds of tubes. If she was there for 2 weeks it was legit serious-not like she’s just had a baby and the kids can come in to visit and it’s all fun.
“Get ready to see more of Camilla throughout all of February, she’s going to be the only senior royal doing events,” maybe she’ll trot out some of her family members (her side of the family).
Also I don’t think we need any more details for Charles’ condition because while we don’t know everything it’s still way less shady than Kate’s situation. No speculations needed and everybody knows that Charles is old now so we can’t expect him to be seen back too quickly.
Camilla really missed an opportunity.
She should’ve made her son go into a real job. If he had better credentials him going on events with her wouldn’t look bad.
She isn’t as clever as she appears. She just persisted.

Camilla’s so happy. I don’t believe she never wanted to be Queen. You can tell since the coronation she has been miserable.
She messed up her chance at being a real Queen. No one cares about her or her family. No celebrations. Now with Chuck in hospital she gets some good press. She may convince him to recuperate in hospital so she can milk it.
