Lily Gladstone wore Armani as she picked up her SAG Award for Best Actress

Lily Gladstone’s SAG Award win was huge! Lily has not gone into the last half of the awards season with any kind of momentum. Last fall and winter, it felt like Lily was a sure thing. Then Emma Stone and Poor Things arrived and suddenly, Emma had all of the momentum and Emma was picking up award after award. Now, with Lily’s SAG win, the Best Actress race is still up in the air, but Lily definitely has a leg up. Lily looked lovely at the SAGs as well – her dress was Armani and her earrings were made by a Tulsa artist/jeweler named Molly Murphy Adams. Lily looked beautiful – while I’m not a huge fan of fringe, I understand what she was going for and she looked great. Not enough people are talking about her beautiful skin – I would love to know her skincare!

Elizabeth Debicki also wore Armani – an icy blue with illusion netting on the back. Debicki was a surprise winner for her role (Princess Diana) in The Crown. Most people projected that Sarah Snook would win for Succession’s final season. Debicki seemed genuinely surprised. I like this look, in general – she’s mixed it up a lot during the awards season.

Another winner, but not a surprise: Da’Vine Joy Randolph picked up the Supporting Actress SAG Award for The Holdovers. This was, to me, her best look of the season too, a custom Valdrin Sahiti. The dress photographs beautifully and it really complements her.

These are all nice. Everyone looks lovely.

I love Lily’s dress. I’d be swishing that fringe all night.

I really love Da’Vine’s dress. Fantastic choice.
I think everyone is a lock in the acting categories except Lilly. But Leo will definitely be lobbying for her BTS which helps her campaign enormously.

I love Lily’s look: the dress, the color, the earrings. She’s stunning.

Lily’s earrings with the red dress are perfection.
I love the florals on Da’Vine’s gown!

Loved Lily’s look. It suited her and the film beautifully. The red is a great colour. And I too am not usually a fan of fringe – but it really works here

I like Elizabeth with shorter, structured hair.

I just don’t understand how a hairdresser has a subject like Elizabeth and do that to her.

Lily and Da’Vine are absolutely beautiful and I am loving the designers who are putting respect on the top heavy ladies of the award season.

I’m glad lily won this award. I was really rooting for her this awards season, but Emma has been campaigning so hard for that second win, she wants it so bad, and it feels a little like lily has admitted defeat. But you never know…

Lily Gladstone’s outfit is the best I’ve seen all awards season — not just on her, but everyone. But I’m a sucker for fringe and would love to see the dress in motion. Looking forward to her Oscar ensemble.

When she went onstage to accept her award it was moving beautifully and looked like the fringe had sparkles in it. It was amazing.

Lily said she wore red to bring awareness to murdered and missing indigenous women. I expect her to wear red to the Oscars too.

    • YVR says:

Thank you for mentioning the significance of the red dress for Indigenous women. It has the same meaning in Canada, too.

And it looks wonderful on her 🙂
