Jennifer Lawrence wore a bad three-piece suit at the PFW Dior show

It feels like we just had photos from a Paris Fashion Week about three weeks ago, but here we go. These are photos from today’s Dior Fall/Winter show, with lead designer Maria Grazia Chiuri posing for photos with various It Girls and A-listers. For a while, Jennifer Lawrence has been iffy on attending Dior events, but she went to Paris this week to rep her label. Chiuri did not give J-Law one of the better looks, I have to say. From what I can see, the F/W collection is very focused on suits and they’ve seemingly recreated some rather vintage-looking designs. In Jen’s case, that means pants with a bad taper and a vest-top with a deep V. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the idea of Jennifer Lawrence in a three-piece suit, but this falls flat to me. (I still say J-Law has tweaked her face but I still can’t put my finger on what is different.)

Dior continues to give Elizabeth Debicki their most boring looks – Debicki is easily their best model/brand ambassador and she can make anything look good. So why give her the most boring stuff?

I loved the suit they gave Maisie Williams. Perfect.

Natalie Portman, a long time Dior ambassador, got the best look, right?

Natalie and Charlize always get the best Dior looks. Elizabeth gets a slightly higher profile and they’ll start giving her better stuff too.

No, no, no, no – J-Law’s suit has everything I hate. Short pleated pants with tapered cuffs, a vest (cue the tired “vested interest” headlines) and a droopy jacket with overlong sleeves. Just no.

And maybe it’s the camera angle, but Masie’s suit reminds me of how we wore skirt suits in Boston – just buy it off the rack and don’t bother if the hem comes down to your ankles. Tailors are expensive and we’re all about utility.

We’re going to agree to disagree here because that suit is chic AF on jlaw.

I love the suit on her. But I’m a “New Yawker” so there’s that. I would wear TF out of that suit -with a cute lace bralette peaking out and SLAY boots down!!!

J-Law’s pants are tailored properly at all. There are weird wrinkles all over

Frankly nothing in these pictures is in anyway inspiring. C’mon, Dior, you reinvented fashion after WW2. Tell me you have something more than this.

Natalie looks absolutely amazing, both the outfit and the styling are perfection. I actually really like Elizabeth’s dress but the styling lets it down big time. The rest are extremely sad outfits and look so dated or badly tailored. You’d think Dior didn’t want their clothes to look good.
