DM: Princess Kate ‘refuses to be a victim’ or ‘buckle under the weight of self-pity’

The Princess of Wales has not been credibly seen in public for nearly five full months. Her last public appearance was Christmas Day 2023. I’m not counting that stupid Windsor Farm Store video because that was so clearly something deeply weird and fake. Arguably, Kate was seen in a car with her mother in early March, but that was far from a verifiable sighting. And I still have some unsettling questions about the March 22 cancer-announcement video, and once again, no one has verified anything about it. My point is that Kate is still missing in some sense, only the conversations about her disappearance have dried up since March 22. You would think that the British papers would be gently trying to find a way to reintroduce conversations about when we might see Kate in public. But they’re not. Instead, they’re running stories like “Kate is popular not just because she always looks perfect… but because she refuses to be a victim. She’s starting to eclipse the other Princess of Wales.” Refuses to be a victim??? The same woman who started rumors about her sister-in-law making her cry? From Liz Jones’s latest Mail column:

It was a startling statement, perhaps a rash one – reminiscent of John Lennon’s famous declaration that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus. Speaking on The Reaction, the Mail’s current affairs talk show, presenter and columnist Sarah Vine dared to utter the sacrilegiously unsayable: ‘I think the Princess of Wales is fast becoming as popular if not more popular than that other Princess of Wales.’

Yikes! As a long-time Diana devotee, I was instantly outraged. I’d always loved and admired Diana because she seemed, however perversely, to be humble – one of us despite the aristocratic birth right…. Diana was a lucrative if broken mirror to so many of our lives, meaning we clung to her – and still do. If a beautiful princess can be so desperately unhappy, then we all felt less alone, less to blame. But the world has moved on.

And the reason I believe that Catherine has now topped a recent YouGov poll of most popular Royals – surpassing even William and Charles – is that she personifies a more modern, self-assured ideal of womanhood. Catherine refuses to be a victim. She will not allow herself to be tossed on the choppy waters of whatever fate befalls her.

It’s notable that occupying third position in the YouGov rankings is Anne, the Princess Royal, another woman who refuses to whinge or whine or buckle under the weight of self-pity. Catherine is popular not just because she is never creased or caught wearing the wrong thing but because she is strong. Even when telling the world of her cancer diagnosis, there was no hint of Poor Me, no hysteria, no man at her side to prop her up. She knew that, had she broken down, we would have done the same.

Catherine possesses the quiet dignity of those like the late Queen Elizabeth who were fired in the kiln of wartime, a steely stoicism that seemed to skip a couple of generations. I can’t imagine Kate bleating about the menopause when her time comes. So, reluctantly, I agree with Sarah Vine. There is a dignity and strength in just getting on with life. Putting the needs of others first. Diana fulfilled a need: she opened the floodgates. Catherine’s role today is quietly and serenely to close them.

[From The Daily Mail]

Imagine comparing Diana to Kate and arguing that Kate comes out ahead??? Diana was far from perfect, but she was a spark of life, fire, destruction and chaos. She loved to work, she was vivacious and mischievous and funny and cool. Kate is…none of those things. She’s not even some stoic figure with a can-do attitude. Kate seems an almost pitiful figure by nearly every description of her, from Harry’s Spare to all of the royal reporters desperate to embiggen her.

“Catherine refuses to be a victim. She will not allow herself to be tossed on the choppy waters of whatever fate befalls her…[she’s a] woman who refuses to whinge or whine or buckle under the weight of self-pity.” Kate threw a tantrum about “baby brain.” She lied about Meghan making her cry. She had concerns about Archie’s skin color. GMAFB.

“I can’t imagine Kate bleating about the menopause when her time comes.” Is this a hint? Did she have a radical hysterectomy or early menopause due to being underweight? Isn’t hiding out while supposedly having preventive chemo “buckling”? Women undergoing any of these things get out of the house every day and work, but she can’t even post on SM? But she’s not buckling? And Anne is so brave also? Why not? What has she got to complain about? As a “working” royal she has gotten away with bad behavior and with not having the RR’s follow her around.

    • Sarah Westwood says:

      Kate is a fraud

      • Nubia says:

A weak Fraud . She couldn’t handle a few weeks of bad press. She absolutely made herself a victim and had people feeling sorry for her. She could NOT handle what the Sussexes went and continue to go through.

      • goofpuff says:

Agreed, her whole crafted persona in the media is nothing but lies. None of her actions ever support the persona they keep trying to sell. And victim hood is her number one persona! They always write her as some kind of victim to somebody they don’t like.

      • Jane says:

Gosh this woman has all the help and medical services at her disposal. All she needs to do is to follow the doctors’ instructions, eat healthily and stop being so negative about the Sussexes. Surrounding yourself with toxic people can give you stress and stress impact on cellular level can create dis-eases. I had total hysterectomy, fallopian tube removal and double salpingo oophorectomy due to cancer and luckily I am not a bitter person. Just a straight shooter when it comes to people’s bullcrap. She’s young so they might have saved some of the salvageable organs until she reached menopause. The BIG QUESTION is Billy’s fidelity. Will he be loyal to Katey or will he get a sidechick .

    • AlpineWitch says:

Kate is many things but Vine is so full of it that I would take with a grain of salt what she said, she’s wife to Michael Gove, a parliamentarian full of it too.

ETA: more popular than Diana?? LMAO Sarah, how much of your husband’s stuff did you get?

    • EasternViolet says:

If she is getting chemo, she will be in menopause for the duration of her treatment. If a hysterectomy was not involved … she may get her cycles back when she recovers. And there… just talked about a whole swathe of topics that she is neither serene or stoic about 🙂

      • BeanieBean says:

Don’t you dare talk about Kate’s hormones! You don’t know her well enough! 😉

    • Snaggletooth says:

She’s not going to bleat because she doesn’t talk. About anything. Ever. Not even about her life threatening disease.

Side note: It’s very very very odd that TRF is not doing ANYTHING about cancer. When celebs get cancer, it’s usually lots of awareness raising, donations, community coming together, etc. Hell, when a regular person gets cancer usually half the family is out running marathons to raise money for cancer research. Where is even the slightest gesture toward caring she has cancer FFS????

Their fans can sell out Charles’ effing jam to compete with Meghan but can’t have a cancer research fundraiser? These people are all weirdos.

      • Unblinkered says:

You having said it, Snaggletooth, Carol M will shortly have her daughter make such an announcement – awareness raising, donations. You unknowingly may have prompted their next move.

      • BeanieBean says:

@Unblinkered: don’t think so. Sycophantic press has already written about how great it is that both Charles & Kate have been so brave & upfront about their respective cancer diagnoses & how helpful that has been, blah blah blah. But it’s next to useless if there’s no mention of the kind of cancer or type of thing to look out for for this particular type of cancer, whatever it may be. The English press is never going to get more specific about that. Too weak.

      • That’s what I thought. She could be a great spokesman for her illness. I think it’s ulcerative colitis as it can turn malignant. There is no shame in cancer. As someone said, high profile people earn money for their health issues that can be donated to the agencies. I think of Katie Couric and her cancer. She endorsed colostomies.

      • Unblinkered says:

Replying to Beaniebean, agree specific type may not be mentioned but using the cancer word as a generic term to echo fundraising ideas above.
Can see them rushing to beat Charles to it, they’ve got form for it after all.

    • SamuelWhiskers says:

““I can’t imagine Kate bleating about the menopause when her time comes.” Is this a hint?”

That’s Liz sub-tweeting India Knight, a fellow columnist she’s been feuding with for years, who wrote a successful book all about menopause and her own personal experience with menopause. (Which Liz is clearly very jealous of, since her own attempts to write books flopped badly.)

Liz and India despise each other and regularly take potshots at each other in their columns.

I would bet money that’s a random potshot at India, and nothing to do with Kate.

      • Jais says:

Lol that’s interesting. Thanks for the context.

      • BeanieBean says:

Wow. And they work for papers whose publishers think it’s a good idea to allow this stuff.

      • Jess says:

Ha, I thought that was a dig at Dr. Biden. “bleating”, really? How insulting.

      • Asantewaa says:

India Knight’s father is Andrew Knight who was editor of the Times in the 80s. She is actually a nice woman. I know her from Haymarket Publishing, in the late 80s.

      • SamuelWhiskers says:

I think it’s very unlikely a British columnist is even aware of the American president’s wife, behind knowing her name. She’s not really well-known here. I know her name but I don’t know anything else about her.

Regarding India Knight, I think she’s a good writer but she’s a terrible person and 100% nepo baby. Her disabled child isn’t allowed to live with her because she chose to date a convicted child abuser and chose him over her daughter, and in the past she’s doxxed fans who were critical and threatened to send her boyfriend (who has assault convictions, as well as CSA) round to their houses.

All the British journo brigade is totally toxic.

    • ales says:

A mumbling skeleton with no fashion sense, whose every photo is massively photoshopped, does nothing other than focus on herself, who appears to have no friends, is not anyone to admire. Promoting a stalker, meangirl and flasher does not elevate the BRF it does the complete opposite. No respect left for the BRF, W and K and her grifter family have destroyed it all.

    • Carmen says:

Is she even alive? Show some proof of life or cut the bullshit.

    • esquire says:

Menopause hits quicker and harder when someone is underweight. The body needs cholesterol to produce the s8x hormones. As they say, there is a price-tag for everything and everyone in life …

She’s 42, perimenopause will be kicking in now, with menopause perhaps in just a few short years. The average age is 51, doesn’t mean Kate is not going to enter menopause earlier. I doubt she will get her period back at this stage after whatever illness is ailing her.

  2. Libra says:

Liz Jones is getting paid to write this drivel. Even she must gag on the syrup.

    • Pinkosaurus says:

Remind me again what the British tags are getting by pushing out this sugary nonsense over and over? Even the most deranged readers must be getting bored of the same tired overwrought ass kissing.

      • Unblinkered says:

For my money, they’re relentlessly pushing a sugar-coated image because, in reality, there’s a glaring vacuum.
Not sure why they’re bothering to suggest she’s as popular as Diana, that’s just plain daft.

    • VoominVava says:

It never ceases to amaze me what crap they write every day and that people still eat it up.
      Also, I can’t believe it’s been almost 5 months . That’s insane!

  3. aquarius64 says:

This article was cranked out because Kate will be MIA for the foreseeable future. Also the Firm (namely KP) has seen the online dragging Kate still gets despite the cancer announcement so this is push back.

    • TigerMcQueen says:

If the massive amounts of attention Meghan received over going to a polo fundraiser and making jam doesn’t bring Khate out into the light, I don’t think anything will. Something is very wrong with her, and KP is still lying. And yes, this was cranked out because she’s going to be MIA for a long time, and they still don’t know how to really cover for it.

    • Agnes says:

Proof of Life, now! AI doesn’t count.

    • Persephone says:

@TigerMcQueen and @Agnes YES! something is VERY wrong and they are not effectually covering it. Proof of Life is definitely needed.

  4. Barbara says:

    It’s clearly opposite day.

    • seaflower says:

      Clearly lol

    • Lucky Charm says:

Well, it is a day that ends in “y”.

      • aftershocks says:

^^ Exactly, guys! Opposite Day on steroids. 🤪 These delusional, salty isle desperadoes keep trying to force false narratives full of unbelievable, blatant lies. This entire spew is preposterous. It’s like they do this on purpose simply to provoke social media commentary. 🤦‍♀️

There’s nothing real for the rota to talk about regarding the BRF, and certainly nothing going on that garners any substantive interest at all, unless they use Diana’s, Harry’s, and Meghan’s names and tell lies about them in foolish attempts to embiggen the boring left-behinds. 🙄

    • WiththeAmerican says:

The absolute fanfic version of Kate. An AI written version of Kate to go with the AI photo image.

    • ales says:

Flashing her naked butt and upper thighs at every opportunity, posing after hiking her dress up to her crotch whilst getting out of a car, is this the British version of quiet dignity ?

  5. Lucy says:

I’m still waiting for any explanation that makes sense about the farm video and ask the picture madness. Her being sick stopped the conversation, but it doesn’t explain any of those things happening.

I can’t believe someone is writing this garbage, even as a writing exercise for money. Her and Diana have nothing in common other than title and it’s not a flattering comparison for either.

    • Bettyrose says:

I thought it was well established that the farm store video wasn’t her and the media backed away from it?

      • Interested Gawker says:

“the media backed away from it”

The media did back away from it but there has been nothing established at all to explain that the footage was fake and no correction. That’s precisely to issue. Media outlets around the world reported “Kate was seen at a farm shop” but none of them have retracted or corrected that story. No one has confirmed whether both people were lookalikes or if that really was William walking with a different woman and KP still has made no explanation or clarification about the video. The Sun insisted KP was aware of the video and suggested they were working together, pleased to ‘show Kate’.

The entire media, worldwide, letting disinformation stand like that is dangerous. Setting aside the fact that Kate has STILL not had unambiguous proof of life established for her, reporting that a person who vanished was actually walking around in international new outlets is irresponsible. Royal gossip is derided as trivial but the implications for a woman’s safety, political intrigue, election interference, blackmail, character assassination and propaganda are very frightening if something this woefully fake is left hanging with no closure or accountability.

TMZ changed hands, (Comcast?) I think that’s why they were willing to work with their former owner, Murdoch, but turned around in their own programming later to speculate it wasn’t Kate. They disseminated that video and then said ‘they had doubts’ about it. Even that should have been the reason to get solid answers but to date there are none. Who put them up to it and why release it if I wasn’t 100%?

      • Underhill says:

Firmly believe the farm video was done using a look alike. The most well known Kate look alike denied it was her, so everyone dropped that line of inquiry. But: there is another younger one, first name Gabrielle, she’s on insta, I am not gonna look her up again but she is easy to find. Search for Gabrielle Kate look alike, and you will find her….i am 95% sure that’s her in the farm video along with a Will look alike, one she works with… Who paid them, is the interesting question. The videographer made money off it, I suspect it was him, but KP didn’t comment or deny it, they wanted and still want to foster the idea that Kate is alive, and and in varying states of health, whatever suits them at the moment.

      • Katy says:

@Underhill lol at “varying states of health”.

She’s Schrondinger’s Kate. Don’t open up the box in KP guys. We can still pretend she’s alive and well if no one opens the box…..

      • PotatoPuff says:

Underhill, yes! The Kate lookalike you described is Gabriella Munro Douglas. Remember when Kate and William were expecting George?? A photographer named Alison Jackson hired lookalikes who impersonated Kate, Elizabeth, Pippa, Camilla, and Carole (yes, there is someone who impersonated Carole lololol) to stage an imagined baby shower for Fake Kate. Gabriella Munro Douglas was the Kate lookalike, and she is very convincing. Here’s a link from People:

        https://people.com/parents/kate-middleton-pregnant-lookalikes-stage-baby-shower/

After I saw the farm video, I was like, “how desperate would William be to hire a Fake Kate?” Very desperate. He was very desperate at the time. Idk if that’s what happened, but as Bettyrose and Interested Gawker pointed out, the media backed way the hell away from it.

    • CatMum says:

exactly how is comparing Kate to Diana not flattering to either? it’s not flattering to Kate, for sure. so they should drop it.

this entire piece is one of the biggest loads of hooey I’ve ever seen come out of the british tabs, and I’ve been following this since Diana was alive. so I’ve seen a lot of hooey.

      • WiththeAmerican says:

Yeah, not flattering to Diana? Lol. Diana will always be the Peoples’ Princess. Anyone who was in Paris or London after she was killed knows this.

Whereas for Kate, there was one lone flower bunch and she hasn’t been seen for five months. People only cared about the cover up, which is ongoing but has been shuttered temporarily by the ultimate shaming of “cancer card.”

      • Lucy says:

I was thinking Diana getting pulled into conversations about her nothing burger daughter in law as a comparison was insulting because they aren’t same league of person at all. Probably didn’t convey it well, I’ve had to quit my beloved coffee for health reasons and am not transitioning well.

      • WiththeAmerican says:

@Lucy omg you poor thing I’m so sorry you had to quit coffee, that is absolutely the worst! I’ve had to give up everything but coffee and I’m holding out, so I feel for you.

Your point makes perfect sense in the way you describe it in your last reply 🙂

      • aftershocks says:

No worries @Lucy. I took what you said to mean the way Jones phrases the ridiculous comparison is not flattering to either woman. In that respect, I agree with you. 👍🏽

“Diana was a lucrative, if broken mirror… Diana opened the floodgates. Catherine’s role is to quietly and serenely close them.” 🙄😳🤪🤡💩

  6. Jan90067 says:

WTH are they smoking in those “news” rooms??? Do they think if they say/write it enough times it makes it so? Seriously though, if you just peruse the online pages there are basically no articles about “royals”. The pages are reduced to running old stories about Liz or other country’s royals. These bottom feeders are really nosing for crumbs of any sort.

  7. Lorelei says:

    More popular than Diana? LMAO.
And all Kate and William DO is portray themselves as victims of H&M’s decision to leave, constantly going on about how much their departure increased W&K’s workload (it has not).

This woman felt victimized because she didn’t receive an Easter gift (?!) from her BIL and SIL, on top of feeling victimized that Meghan would dare to discuss her hormones.
Whoever wrote this article can take a seat until they’re ready to rejoin reality.

    • Cessily says:

Absolutely 💯 %🎯.. WanK are perpetual victims and it is well documented by their own friends, palace sources and people close to who scream it to the rota daily.

    • WiththeAmerican says:

Kate is the ultimate victim, because she is the conservative idea of a woman. She’s silent and passive aggressive, she uses manipulation to get what she wants and she’s mean and underhanded while presenting herself as a Victim.

All she’s ever done is present herself as a Victim, while behind the scenes being a mean girl to other women.

The British tabloids are so ridiculous now, I only hope history somehow puts the truth together because the internet has been scrubbed of any unflattering truths about KM, PW, Charles and Camilla.

    • Becks1 says:

Even without all the inside information from Spare, has anyone looked at Kate and thought “yes she’s strong, she won’t be pushed around?” she’ll do whatever the Firm and/or William tell her to do. The things they try to push as Kate’s decisions are 100% William’s. Kate didn’t make the decision to move to Anmer, William did. Kate doesn’t decide where the kids spend christmas, william does. Kate isn’t picking their schools, William is, and if he’s feeling nice he’ll let Kate offer an opinion. That’s why all the discussion about “kate putting her foot down” over Eton is so stupid – George may not go there, but if he doesn’t its bc William doesn’t want him to go there.

Kate is not strong and she has very little leverage in the Firm.

      • Carrot says:

I look at all this coverage and think it’s a soft launch for Kate passing (and I hope I’m wrong because it’s not a nice way to think) . The very best thing she could do for the BRF is die fast. The very worst thing would be if she doesn’t die and W has to suck it

      • PotatoPuff says:

This x1000. I think she has very little power within the institution.

    • Nic919 says:

This was a woman who according to Camilla Tominey, cried over her child not wearing tights in May.

They need to get their stories straight.

  8. Shawna says:

But her Easter presents!!!! What a stoic.

    • Lulu says:

Tatler’s Catherine the Great was all about Kate being a victim of the ‘selfish Sussexes‘ leaving and she already worked as hard as any top CEo. Complete victimhood plus a lie, as she rained just as lazy after they left.

      • WiththeAmerican says:

Good point, Kate is someone who feels persecuted when she has to work once a month.

    • PotatoPuff says:

OMG Shawna, I laughed. You win!!

  9. Aimee says:

    I want what they’re smoking.

  10. Rapunzel says:

“Catherine refuses to be a victim. She will not allow herself to be tossed on the choppy waters of whatever fate befalls her…[she’s a] woman who refuses to whinge or whine or buckle under the weight of self-pity.”

So… going by the way these stories are almost always opposites of the truth, we can now say:

    1. Kate is a victim tossed on the choppy waters of fate (or thinks she is). This is weird for someone who said she’s fine and doing well and only getting precautionary treatment.

    2. She is whinging, whining, and buckling under the weight of self-pity. Why? Again, this doesn’t seem right for someone who seemed be positive about her prognosis in that bench video.

My thoughts? If this is true, Kate is dealing with being ditched. This whole denial sounds like how you’d deal with a break-up.

Or…. what if this projection like they often do and it’s William who feels a victim of fate and is whinging, whining, ad buckling under self-pity?

  11. Sunday says:

“whatever fate befalls her” “buckle under the weight of self-pity” idk, this sort of reads like a threat to kate. A singsong, sugary reminder that nobody likes a victim.

Even if I’m reading a bit too far into this, when the only media coverage reads like eulogizing and not reporting, it’s sort of a red flag…

    • Renae says:

How Victorian it all sounds! Can someone remind the writer that this is 2024 and not a century past?

    • LaurieLee says:

That’s how I read it too, seems ominous in a way, but definitely like a warning.

    • PotatoPuff says:

That was a weird line for sure. But i always come back to the fact that these Daily Fail columnists are awful writers. So it’s a weird line and awful writing lol.

  12. AMTC says:

The rota are really getting restless coming up with this deranged comparison. @Mary Pester. I have been waiting for Monday to hear you spill your hot tea.

  13. She will never ever eclipse Diana never. Diana had charisma and a great work ethic and empathy for others. Cant is a mean girl with no self worth who hates other women. Yes she is playing victim because she didn’t like being called out for racism she decided to try playing the cancer card which in my opinion she doesn’t have.

  14. StillDouchesOfCambridge says:

She’s refuses to play the victim? What does it even mean in her case? Not to be a victim of what? Cancer? What did she do? Like we said, we all wish her health, but comparing her and Diana is very rich. After decades of being gone Diana is not only remembered for beauty and her humanitarian work, while the other princess of wailes is known for being workshy , having a beautiful wedding dress and her racism

    • First comment says:

Exactly..notice that she’s praised only for two things “she is never creased or caught wearing the wrong thing..and… she is strong”..really? The first argument is doubtful and the only proof of the second is a highly edited video…all she cared about was her appearance and clothes… and finally, Diana was a real human being with compassion and love for the others (I still remember that she invited Piers Morgan to persuade him to go easy on Fergie)…she had feelings and she didn’t hesitate to show them…Kate, unfortunately, hasn’t shown any passions nor feelings all these years for anything and she’s rather bland and boring….she resembles enough to an AI creature, sadly.

      • StillDouchesOfCambridge says:

Exactly, and I forgot that not only will she be remembered forever as the racist but also the princess that went missing for months. We still havent seen her since decmeber 2023…

      • BeanieBean says:

I snorted at this line, ‘she is never creased or caught wearing the wrong thing.’ The woman whose skirts flew up revealing her bare *ss again & again? That one? I think floaty dresses with no slip or undies underneath is definitely the wrong thing.

      • SarahCS says:

By wearing the wrong thing I assume they mean ‘wearing the wrong thing based on supposed protocol that we just made up and will change as soon as a white royal does the same thing’.

  15. Jais says:

Yeah, I’m glad Kaiser said it. Kate said nothing when the Meghan made her cry story came out. A lie that put her squarely in a victim narrative. To say that she hasn’t played the victim is pretty absurd. The crying story was huge and it didn’t end until Meghan corrected it. But the BM likes to pretend that it didn’t happen. But that story was massive and it made Meghan the villain and Kate the victim. And Kate and KP didn’t correct it bc they liked Kate being seen as the victim. So this new take is revisionism and make-believe. But the part about Kate being silent and stoic sounds like something they want Kate to be…

    • PotatoPuff says:

YES. Go Kaiser! How hard would it have been for Kate to ask Jason Knauf to quash that story? But Kate would never have done it, probably because Camilla Tominey’s source was Carole. And Kate will never go against her mother.

  16. Eleonor says:

Why do they need to brag Diana in this mess ?
I mean they spent years telling us how Kate is perfect because she is anything like Diana.
Diana embodied everything the RF hates (she was an actual human being that was her problem), to the point they are still gaslighting her even in her grave.

    • Nlopez says:

      This!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

    • Proud Mary says:

To me, it’s just a distraction. They are making these outrageous statements, because they want to get you riled up about this, so that you’re not asking questions about Kate’s disappearance. And judging by most of the comments on here, it’s working.

      • rosa mwemaid says:

Yes, where is Kate, we see the King, who has cancer and it undergoing treatment for it with chemo. Kate’s doctors say she hasn’t got cancer and the chemo is just in case, the king is in a far worse position than Kate and he manages to show his face occasionally so why can’t Kate?

      • Becks1 says:

It’s kind of like what they do with Meghan. they print endless articles about her so many people – anti sussex people as well as just the casual observer – think that Meghan is out and about every day, calling the tabloids, staging pap walks, etc. In reality, while the past few months have been busy, we have gone months without seeing her in public, without anything being announced, etc. And the press STILL writes 100 articles a day about her.

Here, they’re trying the same tactic in a way. If they write endless stories about Kate and reuse old pictures to talk about her fashion or her hair or whatever – people will forget they haven’t seen her since December.

      • Saucy&Sassy says:

Proud Mary, I think it’s sad. She’s 42 years old and this is what they say about her, “Catherine is popular not just because she is never creased or caught wearing the wrong thing but because she is strong.” That’s it.

I think a divorce is probable and she’ll have to get some gumption to fight for a decent settlement and shared custody.

The problem the bm/brf finds themselves in is that if they don’t talk about her she will likely become no more than an afterthought to too many people. That’s why we have these articles coming out–to make sure people remember her. Unfortunately, they’re not doing her any favors.

  17. Lulu says:

This drivel is the result of weeks of Meghan being worldwide news and spectacularly gorgeous.

  18. Proud Mary says:

There’s been way too many times when the royal family have lied about other things and we’ve simply moved on without holding them accountable. While reading this Kaiser post, I started thinking about that time, when in real time, I knew they were lying when they claimed Meghan was going to participate in the Sandringham summit. I knew they wouldn’t have wanted her there, not only because they had no respect for a black woman, but also because they thought they could convince or brow beat Harry into leaving her, if she wasn’t there. There was also that time when they lied that it was the Sussexes who did not want the child titled.

Now fast forward to today. A whole azz grown woman, a camera hog, who has been deemed the center of the royal universe for the past decade is missing; but nothing to see here? Right. First it was, she had surgery, but no cancer was detected. Then there were multiple photos and a sighting intended to convince that she was just peachy. Then we got a video intended to convince us that she did have cancer and that she isn’t fine. Assuming the last video is a true representation of Kate, it still doesn’t explain why she hasn’t seen in public. Lot’s of women undergoing cancer treatment continue to work. Yet this woman who, according to her own words “had cancer” and was seeking “preventive” treatment, has not been seen in public for almost five months now? It is not conspiracy to believe that there is more to this story than meets the eye.

    • Julianna says:

@Proud Mary. Thank you. None of it makes sense and it’s not a conspiracy. It’s called having common sense and using your brain and eyes…

    • Saucy&Sassy says:

Proud Mary, I think they’ll continue with negative stories about the Sussexes as long as they can get some mileage out of them. I can’t see how that will be happening long into the future. People are already getting tired of the same-o same-o.

The future doesn’t look too good for the bm with covering the fk and fq-c not appearing very often. What will they do? Times will get interesting.

    • PotatoPuff says:

Yes, Proud Mary!!!! They can’t make it make sense, but they’ll sure try to do so.

    • PinkOrchid says:

Actually, it literally IS conspiracy! Conspiracy fact. Conspiracies actually exist, not just in theory. Plus, as we know, some (not all, of course, but some) conspiracy theories turn out to be true. In this case, we know are being lied to, in an organized way, by a group of co-conspirators whose purpose we can only surmise.

  19. Tessa says:

Now the late Diana is criticized to try to bolster Kate. Diana lived only 36 years and was much admired.she fought back and did not play victim. Kate is stepford and played mean girl to Meghan. Diana was not lazy like Kate. And to top it off Kate played victim saying the hardest thing she ever did was to go on walkabout with Meghan.

    • rosa mwemaid says:

What a female dog thing to say.

      • May says:

I don’t think so @rosa. @Tessa pretty much nailed it.

      • Becks1 says:

Nah, Tessa is pretty much right on the money here.

      • MissF says:

@rosa, Seriously? What Tessa said was fairly benign! My opinion, Waity is as common as muck, incurious, ridiculously lazy and a complete waste of space. She also has a very casual relationship with truth and reality. That’s a pretty bitchy comment dear.

      • aftershocks says:

I thought @Rosa was negatively characterizing what Kate said about the walkabout with Meg being “the hardest thing she ever had to do.” 🙄 A very bitchy, lying comment to make, if that’s what Kate said and it wasn’t made up by the rota cleans, but fed to them, perhaps by leaky CarolE. I don’t get that @Rosa is disagreeing with @Tessa. 🤷🏽‍♀️

      • aftershocks says:

        Correction: “rota clowns”

      • PinkOrchid says:

Rosa was calling out Kate’s comment, not Tessa who posted it. Ease off, bitches!

    • Saucy&Sassy says:

rosa mwemaid, Tessa is on the money from what I’ve observed. Bone Idle has spent years NOT learning about anything. This always shows when she goes on engagements. She not able to engage the people of the charity, etc., because she doesn’t know about it. That’s a choice.

      • PotatoPuff says:

Hi rosa, Tessa called it. Saucy&Sassy is also right. Kate has made all of the conscious choices in her life to get her to where she is today. You always have a choice.

  20. Mslove says:

Liz Jones is silly, writing crap like this. Diana had substance and she had a clear purpose in life to help others who weren’t seen or heard. And she kept on helping others, even though her no-good husband was publicly cheating on her. Also, why is Liz bringing up menopause?

  21. lanne says:

All she does is play the victim. Now she has “I have cancer” to get out of working for the rest of her life. My mom’s 1st bout with cancer was at age 29, with a 3 and a 1 year old at home. My grandmother and aunt came to take care of us when my mom was in the hospital. My father told her over and over: you have 2 babies at home who need you. We’re going to get through this together. There’s no time to feel sorry for yourself. We have a future we planned together.”

My mom says this kept her from succumbing to her fear–and this is way before people talked openly about mental health. She concentrated on her recovery. In difficult times, it’s possible to spiral into negativity–having a community around her to drag her back from that really helped her.

However sick Kate is, or not, it seems like every indulgence will be made on her, every excuse will be made for her. She has never shown a backbone, ever. Why would she start now?

This could have been a great way to build an identity for herself, finally: “I’m going through what so many others have gone through.” But no, she’ll continue to be absent, and people will continue to enable her inactivity. Will the British media be surprised when they get the do-nothing king and queen? Will they be howling about how “they never saw it coming?”

Or will they still think that they can rag on the Sussexes 5, 10, 20 years down the road?

    • Berkeleyfarm says:

They are absolutely going to continue to rag the Sussexes. It’s in the playbook and it’s paying the bills.

  22. Cessily says:

The propaganda campaign for her has now come to the point they are counting her cancer diagnosis as an achievement. It is truly astonishing, and if I’m being honest with how KP manufactures content until I see a doctor confirming her cancer and treatment I don’t believe any of it anymore.

  23. Sam says:

This whole daily mail article stinks of misogynistic shit…
So if women don’t stay silent but speak, they’re playing the victim? (Diana and Meghan)

    • Miranda says:

This. They can spout this nonsense about Kate with a straight face because they’ve defined “playing the victim”, “self-pity”, etc., as acknowledging your own vulnerability, being willing to ask for help, and/or simply standing up for yourself. Things that Diana and Meghan did (or tried to do), which were and are the source of much of the genuine respect and admiration people — women, in particular — have for them. I think it’s significant that, despite their fixation on Kate’s apparent popularity, words like “respect” and “admiration” are seldom associated with her. Even the derangers usually can’t find anything to praise, save for her clothes and her whiteness.

  24. Berkeleyfarm says:

As someone else noted, this is all “fanfiction”.

Also a lot of DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender) – supposedly Meghan/Harry are always “playing the victim” when at this point they are in a good place physically, mentally, and career wise.

(Or, as noted, this is telegraphing expectations and something is about to drop.)

  25. Eurydice says:

How weird – “the choppy waters of whatever fate befalls her”? Choppy waters of fate doesn’t sound like “full recovery and return to life as usual.” Is she talking about continued illness, divorce, death?

  26. LP says:

The brave new modern face of the monarchy, committed to caring about mental health because they’re just so modern, happily characterizing actual mental health related issues as “whinging”. Sounds about right!! Eye roll!

    • Eurydice says:

Not just that, but “bleating about the menopause.” It’s like she started out typing “the curse” and thought “what would make this sound more modern…”

  27. LivingDesert says:

That whole thing jumped the shark with the last video.
And using the “C”-card is downright nasty & a slap into the face of those truly and really suffering.

  28. Harper says:

Yes, Kate has certainly been very quiet and serene in 2024. Is she gone? Is she cognitively impaired? Did she quiet quit the royal family? That’s the only on-point fact in this drivel.

Notice how Kate quietly dropped her life’s work when she had a few cancer cells. Can’t even tweet from her rest home about the importance of the first five years anymore.

    • windyriver says:

Well, Louis turns 6 tomorrow, so perhaps she considers that project completed.

      • BeanieBean says:

Ha! Done & dusted! First five years out of the way! Her job is done! Off to…whatever she does in her spare time.

    • PotatoPuff says:

You know, Harper, I’m leaning towards Kate quiet quitting the royal family. She might be asking herself, “is it even worth it anymore?” It gets especially interesting when we keep in mind that Meghan and Harry refuse to run interference from the tabloids anymore, **and** that Kate’s family’s financial foibles are open season for media consumption.

  29. Miranda says:

Why does every single piece about Kate seem to be written in accordance with the Amanda McKittrick Ros style guide? It’s always flowery, overwrought bullshit.

  30. NotSoSocialB says:

She looks absolutely deranged in that last/ large photo, yikes.

  31. Sue says:

I can’t imagine Kate bleating about the menopause when her time comes — how flipping insulting that sounds! So any woman who dares to talk about the side effects she is experiencing with menopause is “bleating”. Well now we know. Women, keep your mouths shut and soldier on regardless of anything you are going through. BLK. Be like Kate.

    • SamuelWhiskers says:

It is misogynistic, but that’s Liz Jones. The reason she has such a bee in her bonnet about menopause right now is that her main rival published a best selling memoir about menopause, and she’s jealous and trying to diminish her enemy’s accomplishment by claiming it’s undignified to “bleat on about menopause.”

    • rosa mwemaid says:

She wouldn’t allow Meghan to talk about baby brain which is far more socially acceptable than menopause.

    • BeanieBean says:

That’s truly vile. That is women helping women, talking about menopause. Women matter, dammit!

  32. tamsin says:

Are the contents of this piece of purple prose presaging an announcement that will make Kate a real victim of either the palace in general or William in particular? Is something “big” about to drop? There seems something anticipatory about the whole tone of this ridiculous piece of writing. How can the writer not be cringing as she writes, I ask.

  33. Lau says:

If there is one thing Kate loves to do in life it’s pretending that she is the victim. I’m kind of surprised that they haven’t used her cancer more to make her even more of a victim at that point.

  34. MaisieMom says:

So Kate is not going to bleat about “the menopause” when her time comes. OK, good to know, but…..what a weird comment?

Something about the phrasing makes it sound so dire. I imagine townsfolk whispering to each other “she’s going through ‘The Change’. Her womb is barren now!” I’ve been through menopause. It’s no picnic, but I wasn’t in mourning over it.

Also, there’s nothing wrong with talking about it. God forbid someone mention a process half the population experiences eventually. You have to muzzle yourself or you’re accused of whining.

  35. Amy Bee says:

Kate said the hardest thing she had to do was to go on a walkabout with Harry and Meghan after the Queen died and she threw hissy fit during the arrangements for Meghan’s wedding. She portrays herself as being a victim of Harry and Meghan all the time so Liz Jones can GTFOH with this nonsense.

    • Christine says:

Yeah, they even “bleated” that Harry and Meghan threw the Cambridge kids under the bus. There is nothing but victim-hood for the Wails. That’s the essence of them.

  36. QuiteContrary says:

The message in this drivel is that women are “strong” and dignified if they don’t complain about being cheated on … like QE II … And apparently Kate.
Diana, by contrast, pitched a fit over Charles’ relationship with Camilla, and she was right to do so.

I know which of the two I admire.

  37. Underhill says:

Just apropo of nothing, out of the blue: Kate > Diana? Really?

What is this, legacy talk? Battle of the dead princesses? Nah. Probably not. Probably just being provacative, nothing much else to write, so may as well stir up some muck, eh?

  38. Mimi says:

I’d bet money that not one member of the British media has seen or spoken to Kate since her last public outing in December. Hearing them report on her is just bizarre since we don’t even know where she is or if she’s still alive, and they don’t know either!

  39. MsIam says:

After all of this, Kate still feels that Meghan owes her an apology for something, so miss me with this “I’m not a victim” bullshit. Girl stay gone, this is probably the most interesting thing you’ve done since the see through dress. And if your not “dead” you should take Willie for everything you can get and consider yourself lucky to be alive.

  40. Henny Penny says:

These articles are ridiculous. Which of us gets this sort of time off package for NOT HAVING CANCER. She said she doesn’t have cancer but is being treated out of an abundance of caution. My 64yo mother had surgery, chemo, and radiation for Stage 4 colorectal cancer and was able to walk, shop , and attend church within weeks. Years ago, I worked with an RN who worked full-time through chemo for inoperable BRAIN CANCER!

  41. Lulu says:

These tabloids are masters at pitting one woman against another. Why does Kate need to be more popular than Diana? If she is currently the most popular royal, then she is currently the most popular royal. The df and rf are selling that one can only do well by denigrating everyone else. I think Charles jam selling out once Meghan started promoting her own proves that it’s not a zero-sum game. The rf was often worldwide news while the Sussex’s were there, since then they are rarely in the news outside the UK with the exception of deaths, fake photos, coronations, and illness.

  42. BeanieBean says:

What they described here is antithetical to modern womanhood & just modern living. Don’t talk, don’t share, quietly suffer? Don’t be open, be closed off? Put others first, even on your deathbed? This is not a life.

  43. BeanieBean says:

One more thing: how is everybody coming up with five months? April is the fourth month of the year. Last seen: December 25; January 25 makes it one month; February 25 makes it two months; March 25 makes it three months; April 25 (this week) makes it four months since anyone has verifiably seen Kate. What kind of math y’all using? Are you using the Julian calendar?

    • Feeshalori says:

Thank you, l was pondering over that myself. It should be 4 months on April 25 if she hasn’t been seen since December 25.

  44. Monlette says:

“I can’t imagine Kate bleating about the menopause when her time comes.”

Good grief! That is the most shamefully misogynistic thing I have read today. What century was just written in?

They might was well write. “Even while battling cancer, dutiful our dutiful Stepford Queen in waiting still farts glitter. Only it is more somber plum and gold colored glitter and not her usual patriotic blue, white and red glitter. What an inspiration she is to us all!”

    • Lulu says:

Agreed! That is a revolting sentence. Severe menopause symptoms are a real thing, and it’s shameful to describe as ‘bleating on’ when someone is suffering, especially from a woman writer (these people are not journalists).

  45. Gabby says:

Diana is laughing her ass off right now. But she cannot spend too much time on this because he has a lunch date with Beethoven later. Finally, someone intense. But I digress.

She will not allow herself to be tossed on the choppy waters of whatever fate befalls her…….Unless she is waiting 10 years for a proposal from William.

Catherine is popular not just because she is never creased or caught wearing the wrong thing……..How many times has she flashed her desperate bare ass again?

there was no hint of Poor Me, no hysteria……..Unless you don’t bring her an Easter present

Catherine possesses the quiet dignity…………..Quiet dignity like the lobbying to attend the statue unveiling? Or how about shoving that cup of edible worms into an aide’s face? Pouncing at Meghan on the Windsor walkabout like a Lifetime movie psycho?

a steely stoicism that seemed to skip a couple of generations…………If she had half the stones her mother has, she would have made something out of herself.

  46. Proud Mary says:

Because this is the Kind of drivel that the BM is allowed to write about the next in line, the Sussexes are sitting ducks for their “scrutiny.” It’s not that there isn’t a lot to talk about when it comes to Will and Kate: her disappearance; the nature and extent of her illness; rumors of a pending divorce, etc. The press was actually heading in that direction, but the cancer video shut it all down.

    • aftershocks says:

As I said upthread, there is not a lot that’s ‘real’ to talk about in regard to the current British royal left-behinds. This is because the tabloids refuse to write about anything resembling the truth in regard to most things, especially the House of Windsor. The tabs and rota were still involved in subterfuge even before the questionable cancer video.

  47. therese says:

    She has good teeth.

  48. Maxine Branch says:

That woman’s whole existence is based upon being a victim. She has zero achievements and count on public sympathy for survival within That family.

  49. Lady Digby says:

TNotice that they are speculating about Kate’s reaction to medical adversity but also mention that Hubbie wasn’t seated along side her to prop her up because she doesn’t need him too. Interesting that they don’t and obviously can’t claim that Willy is stoically carrying on and even pulling double duty to cover both for his wife but also his father? Both women have written bitterly about their ex husbands. Liz Jones kvetches about every man she’s ever dated. One of her pet peeves is mothers who take time off for child care especially if they worked for magazines when she was editor. She’s obsessed with thinness to a worrying extent so she’ll approve of Kate in that regard. Sarah resented being divorced by Michael Give after 20 years of marriage. Apparently he’s disco dancing with 20 year old something women ( and she mates with Rose H). If anyone gives Willie both barrels it will be Sarah if he decides to unload “our” Kate for a younger women and/ or starts double dating with Michael Gove!

  50. Julianna says:

Liz Jones should be absolutely ashamed to try and compare this woman to Diana. Absolutely ridiculous. They are trying to make her alledged cancer diagnosis an achievement.

These stories being rehashed of Kate with all the old photos and articles like these are just distraction and of course lies.

Kate hasn’t been seen since December 25th. All the photos since have been fake, body doubles, or AI generated. I don’t even believe the picture with Kate and Carol and the obvious 5 tires was real either and I believe it was also put out by KP as a “sighting”. I personally believe KP was responsible for the hiring of the body doubles and the video for the Farm “sighting”. I heard the interview from the man that did the video and it was an obvious directed & staged speech to give to the press. They literally just kept progressing with their fakes from still photos to then actual body doubles to then AI generated videos. They made sure the Farm sighting was video because video is more believable than still pictures.

Anyhow, Proud Mary stated perfectly above how none of this makes absolutely no sense. I read I believe the Express(?) that Kate would probably not be seen until 2025… all of this is bizarre.

  51. Lady Digby says:

Are we all refreshing this article hoping that @Mary Pester is going to pour out some further hot tea about KC and the Sunshine Band or the School Run Prince and all his “burdens”?

  52. Interested Gawker says:

The Guardian has a very strange podcast article about a Fox produced US reality dating show from a decade ago called “I Want To Marry Harry”. The contestants were told the name of the show was ‘Dream Date’ leaving them to believe as the competition wore on they were actually dating Prince Harry with out actually saying it, the actor playing him only addressed as ‘Sir’. The introductory quote for this is:

‘It taught me about brainwashing’: how reality show stars fell for a fake Prince Harry

    The interior quote continues:

“It taught me a lot about brainwashing, because your reality is being screwed with,” contestant Kimberly Birch told me. “You’re not trusting yourself any more. It is this group consciousness believing what everyone else was believing in order to feel sane. I can see how people are very easily manipulated, even into things like cults … I get where they’re coming from.”

I have a hard time believing there isn’t implicit finger pointing by The Guardian in bringing up a previous situation in which people were tricked into believing a look alike was a member of the BRF.

I have a VERY hard time believing the bench Liz Truss chose to sit on for her recent interview, with The Telegraph I think, saying among other things:

“The power exercised in Britain by unelected people is a scandal”

was not an intentional clap back to the cancer video bench being wonky. It’s photographed head on making a point of showing the slats and arms in a similar design to the ai version’s features that were out of alignment and devoid of natural perspective.

Someone is gagging the BM but they are finding ways to drop breadcrumbs.

  53. VilleRose says:

It’s not surprising Diana and Meghan were vilified after speaking about the abuse they received during their time in the royal family. Women who speak out about abuse, whether physical, mental, or sexual, are always accused of lying. Whistleblowers are always maligned.

Can you imagine if Kate spoke out, really spoke out, about her cancer? About what goes on behind closed doors? She would only do this IMO if she and William divorced (and even then, I don’t think she’d have the courage to do it if she divorced), she can’t do this while still married to William. The only reason people like her is because she stays silent, about the only thing she has in common with the Queen. She doesn’t have a quiet dignity, she isn’t stoic, and she does not have a “let’s get on with it” attitude (if that were true, she’d still be making occasional appearances like Charles who IS really getting on with it amidst his own cancer battle), she and William are the laziest of the lazies. She is not and will never be more popular than Diana and no one will believe that no matter how many times the royal rota try to repeat it.

I wish her well with her cancer battle but she can’t rewrite history, just because she has cancer.

  54. KeKe Swan says:

Kate will never speak out imo. Kate values being a royal too highly. That’s why Meghan never won their approval—she was in it for the man not the pedigree. And Harry clearly wanted a family, not a royal family—to be valued as himself not “the spare”. Harry walked away when it became clear his father and brother saw him and would punish him unless he behaved as a subject. Kate wants to be Queen though. And I doubt anything or anyone will be allowed to stand in her way till she is.

  55. Morning says:

Maybe she is staying out of the public eye in order to negotiate a post nup in the spirit of Melania Trump. 🙂

    • WiththeAmerican says:

Kate shares a lot worth Melania, including ability to always put her financial and power interests first, ahead of everything else, and a cold arrogance and disdain for the peasants.

  56. Norvy says:

Kate holds a British leadership position, but in 13 years as a Royal, she has never displayed leadership skills or qualities. She gives no indication that she is even intelligent enough to grasp issues dealing with the environment, mental health, homelessness, women, and other societal concerns. She’s only known for her clothing and appearances; this does not make a role model. If this is what British women look up to, it doesn’t say too much positive about Great Britain. The British tabloid reporter’s will continue to cover for her many shortcomings. Duchess Meghan was a self-made woman years before her marriage to Prince Harry. Her accomplishments, intelligence, and confidence threatens many women of a certain demographic, for some strange reason, and the world notices this…

  57. Mary Pester says:

I am not a victim, NOOOO she mentioned my hormones 😱
I am not a victim she borrowed my lip gloss nooooo 😱
I am not a victim, she said I had baby brain NOOOO 😱
I am not a victim, I didn’t get an Easter present nooooo 😱on and on and on. this “non victim” moans more than a forest in a high wind, and let’s face it, Diana had warmth, a work ethic, she travelled (more than 30 miles) at times to support issues she cared about. She could deliver a brilliant speech in public with no mutters or mumbles. She loved life, she knew what she was talking about. She visited hospitals on the quiet without the press pack their to idolise her. She walked through mine fields, bone can’t even manage a corn field without expecting a standing ovation. Diana was an original and bone is a pale copy of ANY original, intelligent woman who enters her circle. They can fk the hell of with this crap. Kate is “gone girl” and yes I have some scalding hot tea, but it will have to wait till tomorrow my lovelies, I’m not up to much today.

    • Saucy&Sassy says:

Mary Pester, I’m sorry you’re feeling ‘off’ today. I’m sending you positive energy & prayers. We’ll wait for your tea until tomorrow. You take care of yourself.

    • PotatoPuff says:

Mary Pester, I hope you can rest up and take good care <3 We are patient little gremlins and our highest priority is for you to feel better. (I'm new here btw, but a longtime reader and fan of CB and CBers, and you shine!)

    • Sara says:

I’m a long time reader sporadic commenter wishing you rest and strength

    • Moondust says:

I would add that Diana never pretended to be perfect and wouldn’t be afraid to appear vulnerable. That made her relatable. And she had a heart.

Sending good vibes and lots of love to you Mary Pester.

    • Lulu says:

Well-wishes from me too. Thanks for reminding us how wonderful Diana was. Can I add, after she finished school, the daughter of an earl from one of the oldest families, she worked as a nanny and cleaned her sister’s home. I read an account long ago a woman Diana nannied for, Diana wrote her an apology note (I no longer remember why, but it was minor like aa broken plate) and signed it Lady Diana. Until then, the woman had no idea Diana was an earls daughter.

      • windyriver says:

I remember that story too. The woman was Mary Robertson, an American businesswoman living in London, and they remained friendly for the rest of Diana’s life. She was at Diana’s wedding, and also her funeral, and wrote a book about their relationship: The Diana I Knew: Loving Memories…Seems like a nice woman.

Here’s a tv interview with her:

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-8yxRBu1Bo

    • Gabby says:

Feel better @Mary Pester. Sending sunshine and strength in your direction.

    • Joanne says:

I hope tomorrow will be a better day for you. I wish you many good days and better health. I really look forward to your posts. Thank you for you always interesting and humorous take on things.

    • Underhill says:

Stay Feisty, Mary P. Wishing you better health.

    • Jaded says:

I feel for you, I’m having an off day too Mary Pester — I’ve been on strong blood thinners for a month post-surgery and finally finished my prescrip yesterday. They didn’t tell you that side-effects of stopping include fatigue, dizziness, brain fog, nausea and loss of appetite for a few days. Feel better tomorrow lovey!

      • BeanieBean says:

Oh, golly, @Jaded, that’s brutal! A warning would have been nice! I hope you’re resting & intermittently gazing out the window at nature (my go to when I’m not well).

And @MaryPester: if today’s post is you not feeling well, I cannot wait for tomorrow’s! Today you were 🔥! I hope you can feel the love from this group!

Is there a hint Kate would eclipse Diana by dying? No doubt the headlines would be shocking (not so much to those who suspect what’s really gone on)

Though I doubt she’d be remembered the way Diana is nearly 30 years later.

The media love comparing and pitting women against each other. Even when no longer here. It’s like everything is a competition

  59. Cassie says:

I couldn’t bring myself to properly read that story it was so nauseating .

Who writes this sort of rubbish , honestly she will be sainted soon .

Mad , they are all completely mad and losing touch with reality .

    • esquire says:

      100%; it’s truly maddening.

How she has fans when she has never accomplished a thing in her life, save marrying up into the highest echelons of British society, is baffling. I suppose it’s a sign of the material times in which we live.

Her family are pure trash grifters, as has been revealed lately. The parents have left creditors in their wake, her siblings have never worked. What is there to admire?

  60. EllenOlenska says:

I honestly think they’re hoping she dies. A new “insta maytyr”, endless column inches, and then part two with William bravely dating again…

  61. Tessa says:

Comparing Kate to the queen mother during wartime is a joke. And no the world has not moved on from memories of Diana

  62. Over it says:

    B please, Kate=victim hood.
If she wasn’t her ass would be out her doing some work . Instead she wants the entire world to feel sorry for her like she is the first and last woman to ever have cancer. So we aren’t supposed to ask questions about her ever working again because well cancer

  63. Liz says:

Meant to add to my comment the headlines would shock many that Kate had passed from cancer.

I don’t think that’s what’s happened at all but we’ll never see the real truth in print from the media.
