Here are some photos from the big Bridgerton Season 3 world premiere in New York last night. The third season drops this week, you guys! It drops on the 16th. I’m excited for this season and what they do with Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton’s characters. They get the main love story for this season, although I’ve been led to believe that we’ll see some of Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey’s characters too, who are married now and still hot for each other. Simone and Jonathan looked amazing at the premiere too – Jonathan’s career is going gangbusters right now!
Fashion notes: Simone wore a sparkly, spangled Prada dress, which looks amazing on her. Nicola dressed like she IS the star – a custom Danielle Frankel dress, accessorized with Chopard jewelry. I love that she really went all out and had a big, glam moment. The emeralds were gorgeous too. Luke wore Versace, btw. Out of everything here, I would wear the hell out of Luke’s pants.
Anyway, I’m excited for this season. I hope there’s not a ridiculous amount of focus on that younger Bridgerton sister, who is the absolute worst.

I love that she’s an IT girl right now. She was absolutely amazing in Derry Girls. Comedic timing like that is a rare talent. But I find Bridgerton unwatchable. I’m tempted to give it another go to watch Nicola though.
Same!!! I loved her since she was the wee lez on Derry Girls! I could not get through the first season of Bridgerton, but I might try for her, she’s such a delight.
I had to grin and bear it through the first season. The second was, to me, much better.
I love her, and I love how much fun they’ve been having on this journey. But this dress looks like the game at bridal showers where you craft a dress out of toilet paper and he looks like the Dean of Student Services.
The first season is balls, the second season is amazing!
Another same! I couldn’t stand the first season of Bridgerton — I just don’t get it, maybe I don’t get Shonda Rhimes in general? — and never bothered with the second, but I MIGHT give it a go this season to watch Nicola. I wonder if her other show “Big Mood” is any good?

I’m also not excited for this upcoming season as I don’t think Colin & Penelope have any chemistry from what I saw between them in the first 2 seasons.
I didn’t see anything about Jonathan on Season 1 either. I think, that is the point. This season will focus on them and their relationship, so we are gonna see a different side of them. From 2 seasons + Queen’s 1 season we got, I trust the team that we are gonna get another good storyline.
I agree, looks too much like a wedding dress. I would not mind it if it was in a less bridal color. I can’t stand Eloise. I wish they would write her out.

Nicola great! — but that dress looks like crumpled bed sheets. More sparkly spangles! I think Simone looks awesome in her Prada, and I bet Nicola would also look awesome in something similar.

The costumes in the pictures released look amazing on Nicola this season and wish they could have used this talent on the red carpet too

No to the dress. The dresses that have the straps standing up over the shoulders are bad enough, but this one with the bosom sticking out over her actual breasts (which are big enough and just fine on their own!) is too much.
Yes to the Julia Quinn Bridgerton books; can’t get into the televised series.
I love Nicola in Derry Girls. She’s beautiful and talented, but I can’t stand her character in Bridgerton and I already got over my Regency girlie phase.
I hope the season does big numbers for Nicola’s sake, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they aren’t all that because of Colin’s lack of appeal as a male lead.
I think Nicola has looked fabulous on this press tour – especially the black gown in Australia and the Harpers cover. But this dress is so wrong for her- it literally doubles her width, which when you are as short as she is (believe me I understand this) you cannot pull off. The stylists could have done so much better for her

I adore Nicola, but she needs a new stylist. She is petite in height and that dress swallowed her whole. Not flattering at all and she needs color! She is gorgeous and deserves clothes that flatter her in every way.
