People are still talking about Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet’s appearance at Sunday’s Golden Globes. It was the second time Chalamet brought Kylie as his date to the Globes, and the same thing happened last year too – people were talking about them days later. While I can take or leave the whole Kar-Jenner clan, I find myself enjoying Kylie and Timothee’s relationship. He’s 29, she’s 27, but it feels like they’re just young people having a nice time together at HIS work event. I also think it’s sweet that Timothee brings Kylie as his date to the most social awards-show, the show where people are seated at big tables and there’s a lot of table-hopping and networking. While Demi Moore sort-of-not-really snubbed Kylie, many people enjoy meeting Timothee’s very famous girlfriend.
On Tuesday, Kylie posted photos of her Golden Globes look – a 1999 vintage Versace – and one photo from the Globes, where she’s posing with Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro, who costarred in A Complete Unknown. In the Globes cutaways, you could see Kylie chatting with Elle and Monica, and it seemed like they got along really well. Kylie did not include any photos of Timothee. She’s never posted any photos of Timmy on her IG. I don’t know if that’s one of his rules or if Kylie just doesn’t want to go Instagram-official. Meanwhile, Page Six had this item about why Kylie and Timothee didn’t walk the red carpet together.
Kylie Jenner had a very special reason for not walking the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, a source exclusively tells Page Six.
“Kylie didn’t want to make it about them. She wanted this night to be all about Timothée, how it was intended to be,” an insider says. Still, Chalamet, 29 — who was nominated for best actor in a drama for his role in “A Complete Unknown” — “made sure to invite” the 27-year-old mogul as his date to the A-list affair.
Although Adrien Brody took home the coveted award, Chalamet “felt a sense of comfort having Kylie there with him.”
As we previously reported, Kylie — who first sparked dating rumors with Chalamet in April 2023 — didn’t appear on the carpet with her beau but did cheer him on from the audience at the starry ceremony. It was “really important” to the Oscar nominee that “Kylie be there by his side during one of the most meaningful moments of his life.”
According to our source, “Timothée is used to attending award shows and events, but it was nice having Kylie there to support him. Kylie really is his best friend and his biggest supporter. They have such a strong connection and he was so thankful she could be there with him.”
The beauty entrepreneur “has such a positive energy and she just has a way of uplifting Timothée’s vibe whenever she’s around,” our insider reveals.
I’m not sure I believe that Timmy was “so thankful” that Kylie was there, but hey, they’ve been together for two years and they seem very happy together, against all odds. I think Timothee’s fans want to see him as someone who would only date intellectual artist-types and they can’t believe his actual type is “single mom and reality star with a great body.”

I can’t believe she’s only 27! She looks fine here but I’ve seen pictures of her sans makeup and she really did a number on herself. Yikes.
Comments critiquing her looks never helped, she was always seen as the ugly one & I imagine that affected her.
Um most of family is plastic. It wasn’t just the public, being surrounded by vapid women really messed her up too.

I like that they are low-key and don’t give a lot of leaks or PR pieces to the tabloids. I think, that is why it lasted this long. Otherwise, I can’t imagine all the social media mocking Kylie would get.
Not to be mean, but her new boobs really look cartoonish now since she lost some weight recently. She would look much better if she got some more realistic ones.
Kylie is treating this relationship much differently than when she was with Travis, who was very visible on her socials & very public. This time just feels like that while they do things together, it feels a bit more private so she just keeps him off of her Instagram.

Her relationship with Travis looked very fake to me. They did a couples interview together and Travis didn’t know anything about Kylie. He didn’t know the names of Kylie’s dogs or the color of her eyes. All those social media posts, red carpets seemed like PR and they were just coparenting instead of being a real couple. That is why her relationship with Timothee looks more real to me.
Relationship is definitely real, just wondering who made the decision to keep it more private, than what the Kardashians are use to?
I am sure it was Timothee. He would get papped with his other girlfriends too, but he never made a point of PR’ing his relationships. He wants to be taken seriously in the acting world and the relationship drama is a sure way to ruin that. It seems to me, Kylie would be happy either way.

It really is disappointing that an actor of Timothee’s caliber would be tied up with someone who is so superficial. What do they even talk about? (I know the obvious reply, but I won’t say it).
It’s not like he can’t meet beautiful, talented women through his work: e.g. did he not notice his costar Zendaya, or Florence Pugh, for that matter. I’m referring to women in the Dune time frame, since that’s about when he started up with Kylie.
Here’s hoping that Timothée chooses a woman of substance the next time around.
