Along with all of the “emotional support polls,” the British media always returns to several false narratives about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The narratives are all interconnected: Meghan was a “nobody” before she married Harry, she would be “nothing” without her royal association, and her only “talent” is being beautiful and marrying a prince. There’s a good deal of projection happening, because a lot of people don’t want to admit that their future queen and their current queen were nobodies who never worked a day in their lives. Well, the Sun’s Royal Exclusive show exists to have commentators and “royal experts” come on to say deranged sh-t about Meghan and Harry. The latest is someone named Esther Krakue claiming that Meghan is only a hot girl who bagged a famous and rich prince, and she should stop trying to be anything else.
Meghan Markle “wants to be something that she really isn’t” through her trailblazing projects, a royal expert has claimed. Journalist and commentator Esther Krakue said Meghan should embrace being a “hot” woman who married a Prince – instead of broadcasting her “particularly niche view of the world”.
Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, Esther touched upon Meghan’s appearance on the The Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast. In it, the duchess said that if she had to write a resume, she would not know what to call herself. Esther said: “She has also never had to write a resume, let’s be honest.”
She told The Sun’s Royal Editor, Matt Wilkinson: “I think the lens through which she views the world is very peculiar. I just think this, her trying to posit herself as a champion of women and trying to shoehorn this particularly niche view of the world into something that’s a bit more nuanced and complicated. It’s just like, you don’t need to do that. You’re hot. You married a prince. Give us the tea. That’s all we need from her.”
The London-based broadcaster and columnist cited the various projects Meghan has been pursuing “arguably not done very well”.
Esther added: “She doesn’t see it the way that most of the world is, which is she has a very rich husband. What she’s doing is low risk. I don’t even want to feel like we’re beating down on everything she does. I wish her every success, but I feel sad that she feels the need to be this thing that she’s clearly not. She’s not a chemist. She’s not a physicist. And that’s fine. Sometimes it’s OK to just be pretty and to have good fortune in life and to ride that wave.”
Fun fact: Meghan was actually a self-made millionaire when she met Harry. Harry sees himself as extremely lucky for bagging a hot and smart woman, and he’s grateful every day that he married Meghan. This idea that Meghan doesn’t “need” to work is so bizarre – she’s started a business which has been successful from the word go. She and Harry have a lucrative Netflix contract which will likely be renewed in some form. She works because she has to and because she likes to. It feels like they’re really mad that they’re stuck with such a work-shy dud with the other one, right? The undercurrent of this is “why does Meghan have to be so hot and successful, she’s making Kate look bad!”

Not kidding, I fancy myself a royal watcher for some time and….I’ve literally never heard of this woman putting Meghan in her mouth…

Is it a Brit thing to aspire to be a woman who doesn’t have to work? Meghan is an educated, intelligent, vibrant, dynamic woman who is interested in what happens in the world and her place in it. Of course she could sit out like lazy, dull, pampered, wannabe queens, but she is more interested in being out in the world, doing good work, feeling the satisfaction of having her interests and efforts come to fruition. Intelligent woman WANT to work, they want to make an impact, a difference and to experience all that their skills, experience and life can offer. I find the obsession over Meghan’s desire to live her life fully and completely as she wants so freaking weird. Why don’t these people get busy living their own lives and creating something they can be proud of instead of writing inane stories about a woman who left them years ago. What does it matter to them what she does or how she does it? Why do they think their opinion of what she does matters? She’s not a chemist? WTF? What a limited view of women’s aspirations and job opportunities. To live life fully is to take risks, try new things, develop new skills and meet and work with lots of interesting people. Sitting in a dull, moldy, old and antiquated system where everything is planned and taken care of for you is the epitome of boring, stagnant and ordinary and the very thing that kills creativity and innovation, exactly what Meghan would loathe. Sadly, the monarchy is a large part of what is holding the UK back, the keeping with all the old so called traditions and discriminatory class system is the opposite of progressive thought and movement. Stories like these show how narrow and confining the roles of women are in that country, don’t take risks, keep your head down, smile nicely, be pretty and for god’s sake don’t ever do anything original or fun.

Meghan’s existence as Harry’s wife disrupts the façade of the monarchical English class system. The propaganda media is an integral part of maintaining that system. They are unable to extinguish her – erase her past, silence her present, prevent her future – to repair the damage to the foundation of the façade of the monarchical class system. They (the media and the toxic Royal institution/family) have become extremely unhinged in their pursuit. As someone from the Commonwealth, seeing the machinations of the toxic Royal institution/family has demonstrated how low the English monarchy values us as humans despite their overtures and the speeches from Charles about us being bound by history and being a member of the ‘Commonwealth family’. People within my family and community look at how they have treated Harry and his family and think, if you treat your blood family like that you can never have any compassion for us and our well-being. We think there is no goodwill in any of them (Charles and the entire cabal) for any of us. They just see the value of our country’s resources, not our humanity. Friends of mine from other Commonwealth nations have similar views following the toxic Royal institution’s/family’s treatment of the Sussexes. I think now it’s safe to say the Sussexes won their freedom. While the monarchy is limping along, the Sussexes are thriving. Love wins.
To your first question about women aspiring not to work in the UK, I’d say yes.
If historical dramas have any accuracy there’s a lot of commentary about it being unheard of for the Aristocracy to actually have jobs outside of managing their inherited estates and wealth. There was a time when it was normal to look down on lawyers, doctors & other professionals because to have a job/career meant that your income & standing wasn’t that of the aristocracy.
In reality a fair amount of that class were land and title rich but cash poor which is why they married new money Americans to shore themselves up.
Kate is not a chemist or a physicist either, if fact she is not anything in herself and just got to be the next Queen because she bagged a first born rich prince. Why isn’t this woman writing about Kate in this disparaging manner instead. Kate’s character is far more important to the British public than Meghan’s, Kate is going to be our next Queen and represent us all over the world, if she can be bothered.

Meghan is a problem for Great Britain because next to her Kate Middleton looks like a dull peg in the fence, which she actually is. Kate without photoshop, wigs, fake hips, more and more new teeth, is just a prematurely aged, dull woman who has trouble putting a single sentence together and is an embarrassment at every social gathering. Belle Robinson owner of Jigsaw was a friend of the Middletons. She got Kate “work” at Jigsaw and admitted she gave Kate very flexible hours to “date” William. Kate left after the 2007 breakup and never returned. She was only there a few short months.

Meghan was on the cusp of working internationally with charities and NGO’s. She had been invited to work with the UN, had travelled to Rwanda and India on behalf of Charles. She was an entrepreneur with the Tig, an early influencer, and worked hard to develop her humanitarian work. Seriously, these people are so vile in their constant need to diminish her. Why are they not embarrassed by the low wattage royals they must constantly embiggen by tearing others down.

I’m unfortunately not sure, though, that “people are fed up with this bullshit.” Every time I go to the Fail’s comments I’m horrified. I know some of it is bots. I have avoided the reading anything from the Fail, including comments or any article that lists it as a source of information. Likewise for any other UK media. My time and life is too precious for me to allow such filth in my life. I feel that if there is a potential of me reading lies from a bot or trolls, it’s not worth my time and the Fail, other UK media and right wing media are riddled with bots and trolls whose entire purpose is to spread lies and push a certain agenda.

‘Expert’ is a word used very loosely in royal circles. They are mediocre people so when you use the word in those circles it’s meaning is extremely diluted. So yes, anyone can be an expert in royal circles.
