Kelsey Grammer, 70, is expecting his eighth child with his fourth wife Kayte Walsh

Fifteen years ago, there was a huge scandal involving Kelsey Grammer. Kelsey left his third wife Camille for an even younger woman, Kayte Walsh. Kelsey and Camille’s divorce was finalized in record time, and he swiftly married Kayte. They’ve been together ever since, although we’ve barely seen her in the past five years. I actually forgot that they’re still together, honestly. Well, it looks like they’re not only still together, but they’re expecting another child. He’s 70 years old and she’s 46. This will be Kelsey’s eighth child overall.

Kelsey Grammer’s family is growing again! The Frasier star, 70, and his wife Kayte Walsh, 46, are expecting their fourth baby together, his eighth child. The actor was photographed in London, England, with his pregnant wife as they strolled through a park together.

Walsh could be seen walking down the street while wearing eyeglasses and a long black dress, which showed off her baby bump. Grammer appeared next to her, wearing sunglasses, a navy polo shirt and white shorts. The two were later photographed walking in a park together as Walsh carried a tan sweater and her bag in one arm.

Grammer and Walsh already share three kids together — daughter Faith, 12, and sons Gabriel, 10, and James, 8. He is also dad to daughter Spencer, 41, whom he shares with first wife, Doreen Alderman; daughter Greer, 33, with ex Barrie Buckner; and daughter Mason, 23, and son Jude, 20, with ex Camille Grammer.

This past May, Grammer opened up about being a father to seven in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE and shared that since he’s had his three younger kids, he’s been “playing catch up” with his older ones. “I have neglected a couple of the kids in my life, especially the first two,” Grammer told PEOPLE. “I’m trying to make up for a little of it now. I’m still their dad, so you can always have [a] chance to show up.”

[From People]

Eight children with four women, and four of those children with his fourth wife. I mean… I hope he’s always financially supported all of his kids, and I guess he has relationships with all of them. It’s pretty crazy to still be welcoming babies into the world in your 70s, but hey, Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro are doing it. Pacino was in his 80s! Good lord.

MAGA fool makes selfish choices. Film at 11.

  2. blue says:

Old egg + old sperm isn’t the best recipe for healthy offspring.

    • Barrett says:

      My thoughts exactly

    • Jegede says:

      Exactly.
The focus is always on women’s eggs, with negligible write up that sperm deteriorates as well.

    • Arpeggi says:

Older sperm, regardless of the age of the expecting mother, increases risks of gestational diabetes, premature baby, lower weight baby and having a kid on the spectrum (which is far less an issue than everything listed before). It’s not because it works in theory that it should

  3. molly says:

I’m about her age, and my father is about his age, and the thought of either one of us trying to raise a new baby is WILD.

  4. Jegede says:

    Yikes!

But Grammer has suffered brutal family horrors.

Maybe building a new family so large helps heals his past.

  5. Noodle says:

He looks very yellow in some of his recent photos here. Is he known for drinking problems in the past? It could be his liver is starting to fail if he struggles with addiction.

    • bananapanda says:

Yes. He had a raging cocaine and alcohol problem through most of the 80s. Can’t remember when he finally got sober but he had DUI’s and interventions etc.

  6. Up In Toronto says:

I’m going to be old fashioned, politically incorrect, judgy mcjudgy here: GROSS!

    • ravensdaughter says:

I’m with you, Toronto. That last picture looks like Kelsey forgot to put in his dentures…

  7. Scarlett says:

Ew, just ew. . Ok, that’s enough internet for me today.

  8. olliesmom says:

Horrible MAGA man. He was the weakest part of Frazier. The wonderful supporting cast around him held up that show.

I guess at 46 she’s not really a spring chicken either to be having a baby.

  9. SeemaLikely says:

“I have neglected a couple of the kids in my life, especially the first two.”

He doesn’t even use their names.

  10. Amy Bee says:

I hope the baby will be ok.

  11. Grant says:

My 70-year-old father is enjoying the fruits of his hard work as a grandfather to my nephew and a travel partner to my mom, his (age-appropriate) 70-year-old wife of almost 50 years. I can’t IMAGINE that he would want to essentially start over at 70 after already raising a son and a daughter. I think I can confidently say that he would much be doing what he’s doing now, which is sailing around Europe on luxury cruise vacation with my mother, not worrying about nannies, daycare, diapers, tuition, etc. etc.

  12. Khy says:

She looks like he sucked the life and youth out her

  13. Paisley25 says:

Considering her age and the gap with the other kids, this could have been an oopsie. My uncle and grandfather were both “I’m starting menopause, no way I’m pregnant” babies to moms in their late 40’s. Hormones in perimenopause can do crazy things.

  14. Lau says:

Marvel keeps hiring him so he’s probably fine when it comes to money.

  15. East Villager says:

I’m not one to defend MAGA but I have met them and Kayte is an absolutely lovely person. They seem genuinely in love.
