People are obsessed with Scarlett Johansson & Jonathan Bailey’s red carpet kisses

Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey premiered Jurassic World Rebirth in New York last night. It looked hot! It’s crazy-hot on the East Coast right now, there are a lot of excessive heat warnings going around. I hope it’s not like this all f–king summer. Anyway, Scarlett wore a light cream dress which was… okay. It’s not my favorite thing, but it’s fine and it was light and summery.

Scarlett attended the premiere with her husband Colin Jost. They held hands for some of the photos, but something else happened, and it’s too funny. So, at every premiere for Jurassic World Rebirth, Scarlett runs to her costar Jonathan Bailey and kisses him on the lips in greeting. Scarlett has a new gay bestie – Jonathan has been out for years, and as someone who has followed his career for a little while now, I can safely say that he is adored by every single one of his female costars. Everyone’s been obsessively tracking how many times Jonathan and Scarlett kiss on the red carpet too, it’s so funny. Like, who cares that her actual husband is there? Her gay husband is there and that’s all that matters. Jonathan was even asked about it and he said: “I believe in being able to show love in all different ways. And if you can’t kiss your friends… life’s too short not to.”

If someone was styling Jost- fire them.

  2. ThatGirlThere says:

Why wouldn’t you kiss Jonathan if you could? Tbh, it’s the only time I’ve been envious of Scarlett.

  3. Normades says:

Yea if I was Scarjo I would totally do the same

  4. Hannah says:

I don’t have X so I can’t watch the videos but from the thumbnails Kaiser has provided (thank you); it makes me happy to see him kissing Scarlett but not groping her bum or laying hands. Thank you Jonathan Bailey. Keanu Reeves also does this with women in photos I believe.

In the age of consent and #MeToo I am always grateful when men I wouldn’t usually hug, (excl dad, grandpa, siblings, siblings in law, FIL, close friends, close work colleagues, cousins & Pedro Pascal lol 😂 ) don’t hug me. We still have Covid & all the new superbugs

  5. Kirsten says:

I like her dress but it would be perfect if the silk ruffles covered the whole skirt. Idk what the point of sheer panels for just your thighs is.

  6. DianeS says:

Jonathan Bailey is openly gay. There is nothing here.

  7. Jegede says:

Colin Jost what are you doing????????😕😕😕😕😕

  8. Xantha says:

Look, if Jonathan Bailey wants to greet me with kisses, what am I gonna do: SAY NO?!?! I don’t blame Scarlett one bit. And I doubt Colin Jost is insecure about it for obvious reasons or rather, he shouldn’t be insecure about a gay man kissing his wife.

    • Bqm says:

ScarJo and the very not-gay Chris Evans are super affectionate. Colin isn’t insecure one bit. (Google their golden globes party photos.) I love that.

  9. Lover says:

I would kiss Jonathan Bailey at every opportunity too. Scarlett: she’s just like us.

  10. Grant says:

As a gay man, I love this. How I cherish my straight female sisters, who are so often our first (and only) advocates as we figure out who we are.

  11. KC says:

Arrrgh, he’s just so adorable. And cute.

  12. Sasha says:

I actually love the general execution of the dress, but would prefer either the ruffles only on the bottom, or all the way down the skirt. I do love when pale women wear pale colours though and think that’s an unpopular opinion!

  13. blue says:

Dress is ruined by the hip-belly-ass ruffles. The lower, hemline ones are good.

  14. Antonym says:

I saw two people walking down the street towards the premier in blowup dinosaur costumes

Ugh. My iPad reloaded and the comment is locked, incomplete.

In any event, it was way too hot for that gimmick on Monday. Couldn’t be me
