One of the funniest political/royal stories last week was about Donald Trump’s terrible appearance in The Hague for the big NATO summit. Trump got some face-time with the Dutch king and queen, Willem-Alexander and Maxima. W-A, Maxima and Trump did a brief photocall after they had breakfast one morning, and Trump looked and acted especially out of it. He kept doing that thing with his mouth, puckering his lips in that really odd way. Maxima was caught on camera mimicking his weird lip movements:

In the days since this happened, I actually saw some dumb sh-t on social media where MAGA diaper-babies were absolutely fuming about a glamorous Dutch queen making fun of Dumbf–k Fuhrer. It was a real “thing,” the political pushback on Maxima. So they sent her out to do some damage control. LOL.
Queen Maxima of the Netherlands has revealed what she really said when she appeared to ‘mock’ Donald Trump on live TV last week. The Dutch royal was standing right next to Trump and her husband King Willem-Alexander as they posed for pictures after the US president arrived in the European country for the NATO summit. While making small talk, Maxima, 54, had appeared to ‘mock’ the way Trump’s mouth moved and pulled a face before turning towards the cameras.
During the royal family’s annual summer photo session on Monday, Maxima set the record straight. Speaking to Dutch outlet AD, she clarified what actually happened, telling reporters: ‘I said “thank you” to someone who had helped’, adding that meeting the president had been a ‘pleasant experience’.
Meanwhile her eldest daughter and heir to the throne, 21-year-old Princess Catharina-Amalia, said it was ‘really cool’ she had the opportunity to meet ‘the president of America’.
Do I believe Maxima? Not at all. Do I think this is the best explanation the palace could come up with? No. Do I think any of this really matters? Absolutely not. That’s the thing with these MAGA crybabies – they’re so sniveling and weak, but they also move on pretty quickly. They’re already done with the Maxima storyline. So Maxima just walked it back in the simplest way possible and hopefully everyone will move on. But yeah… it was funny as hell.

If this was Veep, I would imagine her advisors telling her to speak in the same way at random times on camera, so people would think that she always thanked people like that. What a weird timeline this is. Remember we used to think that Bush was a real embarrassment for American people in the global arena.
Shrub comes across as a rocket scientist compared to this orange sh$tstain. He looked high as a kite during that presser.
We’ve seen evidence of his dementia – the weird centaur lean, the wandering off, the nonsense that flows freely and confidently from him – so I imagine they’ve got to have him gassed to the gills to try and get his somewhat more lucid moments coordinated with camera and world leader time. He’s not a world leader, but he meets with other people who are and they need him to maintain at least a little plausible cover.

When I saw that Tiktok the other day, I laughed so hard. It has become one of my favourite TikToks ever! I only wish she hadn’t denied it. But I guess she has to be diplomatic.
Quick edit – I love that last pic that was used where the orange turd is standing there with his mouth slightly open, looking like the mouth-breather he is.
Some extra context. 2x a year the Dutch royal family does a photo call with the media and then a question and answer portion. Which is were this denial comes from, she was directly asked about the incident. I think it was King Willem Alexander who made fun of Kate at the time of the famous retouched photo. Today it is Maxima with Trump.
They are 2 pretty normal people having fun!
She was 100% mocking him, and this is the least she could do to deny it. She really is a queen.
She is elegant, classy, gracious, and regal. How does she get more beautiful as she ages? Her hair, makeup, and outfit here are perfection.
