Tori Spelling claims her dog once found a severed toe in a Toronto hotel

Tori Spelling says a lot of weird sh-t on her podcast, MisSpelling. She’s admitted that she doesn’t drink water and is afraid that people are poisoning her drinks. There was also that time where she confessed that she once asked a friend to store her youngest son’s placenta in her freezer, but then never went back to retrieve it. Oh, and let’s not forget about her admission that she hasn’t gone to the bathroom alone in almost two decades. Good times! MisSpelling’s unofficial tagline should basically be, ‘Overshare Central.’

Tori’s latest story is a doozy. It involves her “creepiest hotel story.” Apparently, she and her ex-husband, Dean McDermott, once decided to have a little weekend getaway at an old Victorian hotel in Toronto. They brought their dog, Musso, with them. According to Tori, while she and Dean were laying in bed, watching a movie, Musso found an unconventional little snack: a human toe.

“One time when Dean and I were together, we were in Toronto, and we were filming…[and] we had two days off,” she said. “So we’re like, ‘Oh, let’s go stay at this amazing Victorian hotel or something.’ So we went and stayed at this hotel, and I think it was me and Dean and my dog.”

“And it was like the most prestigious hotel in Toronto and old school and beautiful. And we were like, okay, we’ve been working hard…[so] we ordered room service and we were gonna watch a movie,” she added. “And I’m not even sure how we found it, but we found a toe. Plot twist. Didn’t see that one coming, did you?”

“Musso found something, and we were laying in bed watching a movie, and we just finished dinner and we found something, and he was chewing on something at the end of the bed,” she said. “And we’re like what does he have? And we kinda went back and forth, like, did he get our food? Like, did he find a bone here? Like, what is he chewing on?”

Spelling recalled that she “grabbed it out of his mouth, and that’s when I found it was a severed human big toe and the creepy part is it wasn’t that old.”

She described the toe as not “that decayed” and “precisely chopped off.” She later added, “And if I remember correctly, it was definitely, I think, a male big toe, but it was chopped off, and it wasn’t decaying. And the nail bed was fine.”

“The hotel kind of had no reaction,” she claimed. “They were like, ‘Oh, we’re so sorry.’ So we, like, put it in a napkin from our dinner and Dean brought it down to them. But you guys, we never got — I would have been horrified, I would have been like, ‘I’m so sorry, the whole stay is free’ or I don’t even know how you make up for having a human toe in somebody’s bed.”

“But all I know is I think they gave us a credit if we ever stayed there again. Ever stayed there again? Never going to stay there again,” she emphasized.

However, the pair were good sports about the harrowing experience. When a producer asked if she demanded to change rooms, she admitted, “No. We didn’t move rooms. I can’t even remember why we stayed in that room. I think it was late and we were just so tired from working.”

“We’re like, turn a blind toe to it and just move on,” she joked.

In retrospect, Spelling has one regret, revealing that she should have put the toe “in a Ziploc bag.”

“Oh my god, I’ve always wanted to solve a murder. I’ve always been into crime and stuff. That could have been my one chance to put in a Ziploc bag to go to the police station, and I could have solved a murder,” she said. “Oh, I missed out.”

What the actual f-ck?! I have no idea if this is a true story or not, but she sure did tell it with her whole chest. If Tori is relaying an event that actually happened and not a fever dream, then my gut tells me that Musso found a cocktail weiner while her owners were under the influence of something that made them think it was a toe. That would also explain why they just put it on a napkin and marched it downstairs. Given Tori’s track record for preserving human anatomy, it’s probably a good thing that she didn’t put it into a Ziploc and take it with her. Who knows whose freezer that toe would still be in.

If I thought that I’d found a severed human toe, I would have dropped it like a hot potato and called the police! I also would have raised hell and insisted on a new room and refund. Can you imagine? The grossest thing I’ve ever found in a hotel room was during Comic-Con 2022. There was a pair of dirty women’s underwear between the night stand and one of the beds. I thought that was bad. Thinking you found a human toe… yikes.

I haven’t seen any photos of TS in quite awhile. I didn’t even recognize her!

I love the name of her podcast and I love a Tori post! I find it so strange they were just tired and didn’t change rooms after that. Maybe she is telling the truth, but I she does have a pattern of grifting to get free stuff. Maybe the hotel was on to her and said nope, you gotta pay for your stay here. I also remember when she fell into a Hibachi grill – not an easy thing to do given the set up of them and the fact that there’s space between the wooden table portion and the actual grill.

I’m from Toronto and not only do i think its unlikely she found a toe without a thousand news stores and memes, I can’t think of an expensive Victorian hotel.

  4. Libra says:

Regarding the dirty underwear; at least it was on the floor and not between the “clean” sheets. Happened.

  5. Changing my name because I can says:

Torontonian here. We don’t have any expensive Victorian hotels. She’s full of sh*t.
