No Doubt announces Vegas residency, will be the first female-fronted act at The Sphere

In April 2024, No Doubt reunited for the first time since 2015 for a 90 minute set at Coachella. It was a huge success, and they were widely praised as being one of the best acts that year. The band also came back together earlier this year to play at FireAid L.A., a concert that helped raise money for the victims of the devastating fires that hit Southern California in January. All of these shows have been considered one-off reunions and nothing more. There were no plans to record new music or go on tour. Well, that could be changing. As it turns out, No Doubt is signing up for another reunion. This time, it’s a six-night residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas in May 2026.

After calls for a reunion tour following last year’s standout performances at Coachella, No Doubt is banding back together for a residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere, with six shows slated for 2026. The group, consisting of Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young, will head over to Sin City for what’s being billed as a six-night limited engagement on May 6, 8, 9, 13, 15 and 16.

“The opportunity to create a show at Sphere excites me in a new way,” says Stefani in a statement. “The venue is unique and modern and it opens up a whole new visual palette for us to be creative. Doing it with No Doubt feels like going back in time to relive our history, while also creating something new in a way we never could have imagined.”

“When we are on stage together playing these songs we feel the magic,” says Dumont. “We are stoked to play together again for our fans, to celebrate their years of love and support.” Young adds, “For anyone who has ever cared or is curious about a No Doubt live concert, this is a special opportunity for that electric band/fan energy exchange in a very unique venue!” Kanal also notes, “There is a beautiful energy that happens when we play together, an electricity I have felt through all of our years. To be able to leave it all on the table each night and take our fans on the insane journey that is Sphere is beyond our wildest dreams.”

The Sphere residency also marks the first time that a female-fronted act will headline the venue, as previous performers have included Dead & Co., U2, Eagles, Anyma and Backstreet Boys. It would be a return to the Strip for Stefani, who staged her own “Just a Girl: Las Vegas” residency at the Zappos Theater in 2018. Those shows were set to conclude in May 2020, but eight were postponed due to the pandemic and rescheduled for the following year.

As for any indication of new No Doubt music, the band hasn’t signaled that they’ll head back to the studio to record the follow-up to their last album, 2012’s “Push and Shove.” During an interview with Nylon following their Coachella performances, Stefani said that she’s “open to anything.” “Well, I don’t have a crystal ball,” she said. “Most things have surprised me in life. One of the things I’ve learned is to be present in the moment and try to absorb what’s happening around me instead of looking ahead.”

Presale begins on Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. PT, which fans must sign up to access. Vibee presale starts today at 10 a.m. PT. General tickets will be available starting on Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. PT on Ticketmaster.

I could see them writing a one-off song for charity, but I don’t think we’ll ever get a new album from No Doubt again. When I went to look up the last time they went on tour, I learned that October 10 was the *30th anniversary* of when Tragic Kingdom was released. I remember listening to that album in middle school. For me, the only skip was “The Climb.” While I’m at it, it’s also been 21 years since Love. Angel. Music. Baby. dropped. Ugh, time.

I’m torn on this one, y’all. On the one hand, as someone who perpetually listens to the 90s, 2000s, and 2010s channels on SiriusXM, I’m nostalgic for the music of my youth. On the other, I really can’t support anything that Gwen Stefani does now that she’s gone MAGA. I am sure that they’re going to put on a great show, though. I’ve never been to the Sphere, it looks like an incredible concert venue. Oh, and speaking of the Sphere, No Doubt being the first female-fronted act to headline it is crazy, but not surprising. They really need to fix that, stat.

With the economy about to tank and a bunch of their fans no longer interested in maga Gwenie this should be interesting. But at least the maga’s finally have a rock act they can rock out to.

  2. Tate says:

    Gwen Stefani can 🖕🏼off

  3. SarahCS says:

Ugh to Gwen Stefani for many reasons but I’m Just a Girl absolutely made Captain Marvel for me when I first watched it. Such a great sequence (as a 90’s teen I loved most of that soundtrack TBH).

  4. Clove says:

I would’ve probably gone to see this because I was a No Doubt fan; however, since Gwen is MAGA, it’s a hard NO! Plus the economy is bad and this is out of touch!

    • JesMa says:

Just because the economy is bad doesn’t mean people should stop doing concerts. It is supply and demand. As long as there are people still willing to attend concerts, artists will keep performing.

  5. Bumblebee says:

    Gwen is MAGA?? Boo hiss!

  6. butterflystella says:

I live in Vegas & this announcement fell flat. It’s expensive to see a show there so I wonder if they’ll sell out. I don’t support MAGA and wouldn’t pay that price for just any band/artist.

    • Muggs says:

Also live in Vegas and even more than not giving a penny to Gwen I highly encourage people to look up James Dolan who is behind the sphere/MSG. Do not give this man your money.

I’m probably banned from his venues just for saying that thanks to his facial recognition scanners!

      • DaveW says:

James Dolan is an a+&* to the nth degree and I say this with direct knowledge as my mother worked for him for a few years. Not necessarily by choice; she worked in the exec office of a small theater company Dolan/MSG bought and she had to stay on to get her full benefit package when leaving. Anyway, believe it or not she said he was more foul and vulgar than Harvey Weinstein (yes, she got to deal with him too). Incredibly short fuse, alcohol isssues, and almost as fragile an ego as Felon47 and about as retaliatory.

  7. Tuesday says:

Header photo is giving Madonna 2015. Scary. It’s a no from me. I refuse to support MAGAts.

  8. Up In Toronto says:

it has always been the talk of Beyonce or Taylor at the Sphere, never Gwen and No Doubt. That she -of all female singers – is the first at the Sphere cheapens it a bit for me, unfortunately

  9. Janet says:

I was raised Catholic and I don’t understand how the MAGA crowd claims to be good Christians etc.

I don’t recall Jesus talking about hoarding wealth, shunning those that are different, dividing people, fighting over land borders etc.

    • DaveW says:

This! MAGA are not Christian in any form or fashion; they literally have sold their souls to MAGA/the devil to get Roe v Wade overturned. Hell is going to be overrun as they start dying off.
