There’s a trend going on social media right now, where people are showing photos, videos and memories from 2016, a decade ago. I have no idea how other people feel, but the past decade has been a haze. Mostly a haze of bullsh-t, considering 2016 was arguably when America jumped the shark completely. But something nice did happen in 2016 – Prince Harry met an American actress for a date, and the rest is history. Well, Meghan did a throwback Instagram, showing a photo of the trip she and Harry took to Botswana in the summer of 2016. She coupled the photo with a new video, taken by Lili Diana, of Meghan and Harry dancing in their backyard in Montecito.
The dancing is cute, and Meghan jumping on Harry and wrapping her legs around him… well, the brand is strong. We always say that Harry always has to have his hands on Meghan, but she loves that ginger like crazy. Archie and Lili are probably quite used to seeing their mom and dad dance in the backyard and make out all over the house. Of course, I’ve already seen a lot of commentary and comments along the lines of “Lili didn’t actually film this, Meghan is lying!” and “how dare Meghan post a video where she’s dancing with her husband in their backyard, why can’t she grope his ass in public like Perfect Kate!!” I think Lili did film it, because what a nonsensical thing to lie about. And I think Meghan is just a Millennial who loves a positive social media trend.
Also: I’ve seen some sites claim that no one has ever seen the Botswana photo – that’s false! It was included in the Harry & Meghan Netflix docuseries. They showed so many photos from Harry and Meghan’s early courtship, photos Meghan never posted online.

Those derangers have never heard of a tripod?
That camera is not on a tripod tho. If the derangers were paying a close attention to the video they would see that the camera is moving all over the place especially in the beginning. These are the same people who have no problem believing that Louis took the picture of Kate that her team posted for World Cancer Day last year. (I believe he did take it btw).
Heck I once saw a child being pushed around in shopping cart. Thought the kiddo was asleep cuz he wasn’t wriggling around only to get closer and see he was very intently watching cartoons on his mom’s phone 😆 If I had to guess I’d say the kid was under two yrs old.
Probably those who are fussing that it cannot be a child are going back to their own childhood when photography was difficult, I remember my dad in the 50s with his light metre and fiddling with timing, aperture, distance etc.
Cue the derangers. They believe that the infamous keen and kids photoshopped picture was real.
It’s hilarious. They did the same thing when criticising her saying “I think it’s beyoootiful” in previous video, and also criticising her big brother’s articulate speech. Do they not realise that they are simply pointing out their own childen’s slow development, or dare one say, erm, inadequacies (since they love to invent ones for A + L)? 😀 I think it’s just plain envy.
There are millions of children Lili’s age with excellent hand-eye coordination and good balance. I have no problem believing that Lili was holding the phone or camera, plus as Kaiser said, it would be a silly thing to lie about.
Cute video! And after nearly 10 years and all that these two have been through, it’s clear that the love and attraction are still strong between them. How many people still wrap their legs around their spouses like that after two children and the passage of time?
The derangers are just angry that the video dropped just as they were attempting to rejuvenate the “California couple on the brink of divorce” rumours to distract from speculation about the crisis manager and The Scar. Every accusation is a projection.
Former 1st/2nd grade teacher here, and occasional substitute for kids as young as kindergarten. People are failing to take into account that kids these days are playing on tablets and smart phones from a very early age. In one class I subbed for, 1st graders were working on stop frame animation projects (I was so jealous that we never got to do that when I was a kid)! So I have no problem believing that a child Lili’s age could manage a short, straightforward clip like this.
If their 4 year olds can’t hold a phone straight for 40 seconds that’s not Harry and Meghan’s problem. When my son was 2 he would grab my phone and take selfies constantly lol Lilli goes to school and kids use iPads or Chrome books for a lot of their school work.
The derangers found another angle to clutch their pearls. Harry and Meghan fight against social media for children, so why do they allow Lili to use a smartphone, huh?! Hypocrites! Bet they allow her to make phone calls, too!
And another one, where is Archie? Ghosted? Left with the nanny because no one cares about him? How dare they not mention him! This coming from the same people still crying about “invisible kids” and “child actors”.
Digital cameras also take video, derangers. Ooh, maybe the Sussex kids got that Leica the Aunties were trying to manifest!

A big Instagram fan account (a really good one, in my opinion) posted some trending pictures of her from 2016, and Meghan liked this post! The fan page and her followers suggested that Meghan should do the same trend. Not even an hour later (!!!!) Meghan made her own post.
Who knows, maybe the video was spontaneous and really made just shortly before she postet it. Anyway, a huge thank you to the fan account, or this post might not have existed!!!
Lili is 4 going on 5 so she can hold a phone. It’s not like she is a baby still developing motor skills.
If Meghan were going to lie about this, she’d say Archie took it. She didn’t. Isn’t there a rule in crime-solving, that people don’t lie about the harder explanations.
Everytime Meghan posts a video or picture like this she undermines the royalist narrative that Harry is unhappy in the US. I’m just happy that they get to live their life the way they want to. I have no doubt that if William and Kate were to post a video of them dancing in their backyard the derangers would be hailing it as the greatest video ever.
I immediately thought about the Summer’s Eve video of William and Kate groping each other while he grimaced stiffly, which all the royal reporters and derangers praised as “authentic and relatable”. The critics can just sit down and shut up, because a side by side comparison of their comments would be interesting.
Exactly! And Charlotte was grimacing at her parents faking PDA, like she had never seen that before and was shocked, or knew it was fake. She wasn’t filming it.
I mean, it’s no grabbing your spouse’s ass in church, so how would the derangers recognize this as a sign of two adults that are hot for each other?
It kills them that the video shows affection that looks natural and isn’t staged and edited to shit like that douche commercial.
Plus their own daughter was able to capture that moment and there wasn’t a whole production required.
William and Kate have never shown natural affection like this. And that’s why this clip bothers the hell out of them.
Harry’s existence undermines the narrative he’s miserable. His public appearances exude joy. I’ve never personally been to Montecito or met his beautiful family, but his life seems pretty transparently amazing?

Very cute and sweet, which will def set off derangers. Harry is likely on his way to the uk at some point, possibly today, or maybe he’s already there, so this is a nice reminder of where his heart lies. Pretty sure tomorrow is the first day of the trial.
I used to teach children Lili’s age and about 50% of the kids I taught would have been able to hold a camera phone to film that video. People saying she couldn’t do it are just admitting that their kids are not as advanced developmentally as Lili is! It’s lovely to see how comfortable these two are with each other. This is true love.
It’s not just posting videos and photos of 2016, everything is 2016. Skinny jeans, ankle boots, bomber jackets, those useless skinny scarves. Any food that was the thing back then, home decorating, blah, blah. All trying to erase everything about the past decade.

Yesterday and today I’m at work and there’s a couple here with two young kids, 4 and almost three. The ease and ability they have with their tablets and parents’ phones is better than most adults. Also, these issues are being brought up by the same fools who have no problems believing that Louis’ first words were Mary Berry 🙄🙄

I still don’t understand why they would make that story public. It should be embarrassing to them that it wasn’t mom or dad. Mary or Maria as the first word would seem to confirm that Nanny Maria was far more hands on as the adult raising Louis than Kate or William. But let’s not remind them of that….
Because that’s how it was. After the wedding, William continued to live like a bachelor, spending more time away from home than with his wife. After Georg’s birth, this not only didn’t change, but intensified. When Georg was born, William went away for a few months, probably to Jecca’s family estate. He often partied with his friends around Europe. Maria wasn’t the only one taking care of the children. She was a governess, and each of the children had/has a nanny, meaning the three children were cared for by four members of staff, plus cooks and cleaners…
Besides, you can see in the films that the children’s relationship with the WK is quite chilly, especially with Kate. There’s no freedom or closeness there.
And the whole school drop-off thing is nonsense too. Security picks them up and drops them off—without their parents or grandparents—and stays with them during lessons. This information came from parents of other students, who protested that they had to wait outside the school until the WK children entered the building. They themselves stated that they had never seen William or Kate there.
I’m so happy that Archie&Lili get to grow up in a house filled with lots of love!

A man who has the hots for her and much as she has the hots for them . I’m happy for Meghan and Harry, truly. But their new video has confirmed something important: I am now the kind of person irritated by joyful internet content. Aging is a journey.

Loved the video and the credit to Princess Lili! This video further demonstrates -for the clueless ones still in doubt- that 10 years later (dang, has it really been that long?!), this couple is still very much together, still very hot for each other, and their movements show they are really in sync with each other! There seems to be a lot of love, laughter, and dancing in the Sussex household, which is great for their children (and us, when they choose to share parts of their life with the public) to see. Photos and videos like this makes me smile bc as a supporter who’s watched and cheered them on through the hate and chaos over the past decade, I am truly happy for them and hope they have many more years filled with more love, laughter and dancing!

I love it when Meghan posts videos like this. The Sussexes are so natural and loved up. They project the image of a happy home and relationship. The Wails always seem stressed and unhappy. Lort. Weeks of rota screaming is forecoming because these videos/images destroy their “Harry is miserable and wants to escape his domineering wife” bs narrative. This is the perfect counterpunch to the smears forthcoming because of the trial.
