Rebecca Loos became famous more than two decades ago, when she had an affair with David Beckham and sold her story to the British tabloids. In the years since, Loos lives a somewhat quiet life outside of the UK, but she still chimes in on various Beckham-related stories, especially if she’s getting paid. Like, I don’t actually have an issue with a mistress/side-chick selling her story and milking her fifteen minutes – it is what it is and these women are under no obligation to keep their mouths shut about unfaithful married men. But I have rolled my eyes at Loos chiming in on Beckham-related stuff decades later, which is what she did when the Netflix Beckham series came out in 2023. Loos gave several paid interviews, bizarrely arguing that David should have said her name and addressed their affair. Just last year, Loos also commended her own bravery for selling her story. Well, the Beckhams are back in the news, and wouldn’t you know, Loos chimed in.
David Beckham’s former assistant Rebecca Loos is speaking out following Brooklyn Beckham’s shocking statement about his parents. Loos, 48, reacted to the news of Brooklyn’s bombshell Instagram Stories posts — in which he slammed dad David and mom Victoria Beckham and accused them of trying to sabotage his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham — in a series of comments on her latest post on the platform on Jan. 19.
One of Loos’ followers wrote in the comments section, “Rebecca, you gotta see the awesome ditch Brooklyn just posted in his story about David and Victoria and their lies. I feel like Brooklyn is supporting everyone who knows the facade. I know you are wonderful and happy and don’t need validation but I think you will feel a source of extra validation. Especially the end about the dogs 🐾.”
Loos replied, “So happy he is standing up for himself and speaking publicly finally!!!! I have felt so bad for his poor wife, knowing too well what they can be like!”
The former Dutch model, who worked as the soccer star’s personal assistant in 2003, also responded to a commenter who shared, “Fascinating admission from Brooklyn.”
“The truth always comes out ❤️,” Loos wrote.
PEOPLE reached out to a representative for Loos who declined to comment. A rep for David and Victoria did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
On one side, I doubt Brooklyn wants the support of his father’s former side chick. On the other side, there seems to be a consistent narrative, among people who have dealt with Victoria and David over the years, that D&V are all about the image and the reality is very different. Like, there’s obviously an effort to say that Brooklyn is jobless (he’s not) and that he’s living off his wife’s family money (somewhat true), but no one is really contradicting Brooklyn’s claims that his parents are image-obsessed narcissists who behave much differently when the cameras aren’t around.

I suspect VB is one of those icky, toxic boy moms. I am a boy mom, too, but mine are 25 and doing their own things. So gross when mothers interfere in their kids’ relationships. Ew.
The whole “toxic MIL” and “controlling wife” narrative is sexist as hell. I sincerely doubt this situation is as simple as that anyway.
David I guess like many very wealthy men keeps it locked when he comes to other women,because other than Rebecca Loos I have never heard or seen any evidence of his so called womanising. I guess he slipped with Rebecca and made sure to never be caught out again.
Someone based in Scotland should confirm how many super injunctions he’s brought over the years, just as someone confirmed about William a few years ago.
THIS – Beckham is one of the MANY footballers who are abusing super injunctions to hide their cheating.
As far as Loos responding she was responding to comments within her own post about it where they brought her into the conversation. I can’t understand to some degree her wanting her name to be mentioned in the documentary because by omitting it, it was like they were glossing over a very important moment in their relationships, as well as hers, by not naming her. Her life was impacted by that decision that she and David made to get into a extramarital affair, and she deserved to be mentioned to show that what the Beckhams show us publicly isn’t as great behind closed doors. It seems like they were being secretive and standoffish about something that I think impacted their relationship much more than they were letting be known.
