Prince Harry gets his As Ever white chocolate bars hand-delivered to him in his office

In the first As Ever chocolate drop before Christmas, I ended up moving like a ninja. I secured three chocolate bars – two white chocolate, one milk chocolate. I didn’t buy the dark chocolate bar because I’m not into dark chocolate. That first chocolate drop didn’t last long! It sold out very quickly, although the Duchess of Sussex had brought back As Ever chocolate right in time for Valentine’s Day. Longtime podcast listeners might also remember that I’m a big fan of white chocolate and CB has always hassled me about it. Well, joke’s on her because it turns out that Prince Harry agrees with me: white chocolate is amazing. My guess is that Prince Harry is the Duchess of Sussex’s official chocolate tester, and so he’s well aware of how good those As Ever chocolate bars are. Well, guess who got his white chocolate hand-delivered to him in his office yesterday?

It was sweet of Meghan to give Harry a choice. She offered him the new As Ever four-bar set, which was only available as part of a larger Valentine’s Day offer. You could either buy the set in the “Sweetheart Bundle” or the Valentine’s Edit, at a cost of $185. Both are sold out!! Which means Meghan kept some chocolate packs around for Prince White Chocolate. (I hope she calls him that.)

In case you’re peeping Harry’s office decor, it looks like Mamma Mia is sticking close to her father, right by his desk. He also has a sweet little painting (??) of two pandas. And the display of badges is fascinating. Most of the badges and chevrons are Ukrainian in origin, and were likely given to him during his trips to Ukraine. When Harry traveled to Kyiv last September, he practically had to set up a gifting suite because so many Ukrainians wanted to give him something personal and meaningful, or give him something to take home to Meghan. He received a lot of Ukrainian military gear, including an abundance of badges and flags. It’s beautiful that he has them on display in his office.

I do not care for white chocolate but I love the idea of Meghan calling him Prince White Chocolate. I also love these little peeks into their normal lives.

  2. vs says:

I am like you CB. I bought the white (2) and the milk chocolate (2) . I never really understood the dark chocolate thing 😂 either. It seems Prince Harry agrees with us 😂

Just got my (multiple) shipments of the chocolates. I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss out this time! So while some were limited to 2 bars per order, I admit to going back immediately to place a couple of more orders of each to make sure I have enough to last for some time (and to gift through Spring 😊 )

So far, I’ve only had the dark chocolate, and it is DELICIOUS! It’s not bitter at *all* (which a lot of people associate with dark choc), and it has subtle taste of raspberry and flake salt, which *chef’s kiss*. SO GOOD. I’m opening the white chocolate next. Can’t wait!

  3. ThatGirlThere says:

Why is she serving her own husband chocolate in their own home???? I thought Harry wants a simple life!!!!

Super cute… he looked quite pleased to snatch up his white chocolate bar.

  4. Jais says:

I got some white chocolate even though it’s not usually for me. But people here were saying it was v good and to give it a go if I’d never had higher end white chocolate which is true so I’m gonna give it a try. They look so pretty with the flower sprinkles. Got some milk chocolate too. I also don’t like dark.

And while all the bundles are sold out, you can still buy the individual white chocolates. For how long though idk.

  5. Neeve says:

I hope she does what i know as Top Deck,is it available in US? I love it cause it has a bit of white and milk chocolate stacked together.

  6. Shiela Kerr says:

Purchased the Valentine Edit looking forward to receiving it.

  7. Hypocrisy says:

Loved this video clip, my chocolate is ordered 🤗 happy St Valentine’s day gift to myself.. I used the @kaiser justification method🤭

  8. Ariel says:

Ordered white and milk chocolate bars on the first drop.
Love the Duchess, love As Ever.

Can’t get past the flower sprinkles in the chocolate.
    Tasteless leaves.

As Ever chocolate is not for me – my bank account is relieved, because honey and jam – I’m all about it.

    • Sam says:

I love the white chocolate bar, but have agree about the flower sprinkles, they don’t really add anything to the taste.

      • Jais says:

I haven’t tried it yet but I assume the flower sprinkles are for the aura more than the taste, lol.

  9. Honeyhoney says:

The pandas could be silk and antique. It’s beautiful. Love how he’s framed The badges and in a place of honour.

I really don’t understand white chocolate though.

  10. Tessa says:

I ordered the gift set of raspberry jam and dark chocolate. I might go back for the other types of chocolate.

  11. Me at home says:

He looks so happy and natural, and he even says “love you” at the end. The video is lovely to watch.

And team dark chocolate! White chocolate isn’t chocolate, sorry. *ducks* Ordered spread instead.

    • TwiceShyNan says:

Our kids are in the twin cities and we live nearby, so I’ve been literally doom scrolling for weeks. Every time a sweet video of Meg and her family pops up, I find myself pausing to breathe—and smile. So calming

    • Becks1 says:

The dark chocolate with the raspberry is amazing!!!! the white chocolate is good but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it at this point. But give me all that dark chocolate.

    • Christine says:

I bought a bar of the dark chocolate with raspberry for my teenager for Valentine’s Day. He always feels so special when I share my raspberry spread, this should blow his little foodie mind!

  12. Debbie says:

I don’t know why but the top picture of Harry reminded me of Archie looking at the sweets tray when they were meeting with Desmond Tutu, when the Sussex family was on tour in South Africa. They both have the same covetous look in their eyes.

  13. Jay says:

    Prince White Chocolate! 🤭

His eyes just light up when he sees his wife (even before he spots the treats she has brought, haha).

  14. Sandra says:

Barefooted with a doggy under the desk! ❤️ I’ll forgive the white chocolate. (Not chocolate!)

  15. Al says:

I love, love that video. Those two are so hot together, I love it.

I placed my V-day chocolate order on the initial drop. I was think of getting more – when I went back to the site, it was all sold out. While I do love the white chocolate, I don’t want the set which includes a can of flower sprinkles (I already have 2 cans that I haven’t used). I wish the individual chocolates were still available.

  16. Amy Bee says:

    They’re so cute.

  17. Ameerah M says:

I was SO excited for the second drop and wound up missing it.

  18. Moniquep says:

Yes, please! To the video. I’ve watched it so many times, and keep going back to it. Harry looks amazingly refreshed and sooo chill. Like a weight has been lifted from his shoulders with the testimony at the trial behind him.
Oh YEAH! Definitely “Prince White Chocolate” yum yum! Sorry Meghan, just can’t help myself.

I missed the first Chocolate drop, and was not about to do it again. So I was ready and waiting this time, grabbed 2 of the 4 pack, restocked on spreads, honey and teas. Then gave in bought the candles for me, I bought them for my friend for Christmas.

  19. Eurydice says:

I’m like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde – love both white chocolate and the darkest possible chocolate. Looking forward to my delivery!!

  20. Smices says:

I’m intrigued by the panda painting. I feel like there’s a story behind it as it doesn’t seem like the type of thing either of them would choose for themselves.

  21. Elly says:

They are a bright spot in an increasingly dark world

  22. Franca says:

I’m a pro Meghan but the way She sells I’m afraid that ppl will get bored soon
She has a lot of unsold and tries to sell It with the bars, fine. But if a bar Is 16$ and a jar of jam Is 15, She sells a combination of 4 bars and 2 jars for the very same sum of all 6 products. Sorry but if i want tò buy the jam I go for It.

  23. Swax says:

That little video was so sweet and lovely just like the chocolates 🍫 I’ve watched it 100 times ❤️

  24. QuiteContrary says:

I bought the white chocolate bars and admit I had to look up hemp hearts because I dove in … and yum. And the hemp hearts were a nice, healthy addition — or at least that’s what I told myself.

I ended up giving one of the bars to a friend who was having a tough time and she loved it.
