Kourtney Kardashian reveals her Photoshopped post-baby body

image0032

I’m not a Kourtney Kardashian hater. I don’t think she’s the devil. I just don’t buy her act. I think she’s probably a massive diva, and I also think there are legitimate questions as to her baby’s paternity – questions that Kourtney refuses to acknowledge, and tries to change the subject to Scott Disick being a tool. Which he is, granted. But Scott still might not be the baby daddy of little Mason Dixon.

Anyway, Kourtney has decided that it’s time we all pay attention to her and her drama again, so she’s posed for the cover of this week’s Life & Style in a bikini. Is this really Kourtney’s body? Sure. Maybe. With a little help from the Photoshop Gods. She also tells the mag that she’s totally open to having another baby… probably because she wants more attention.

In an EXCLUSIVE photo shoot with Life & Style, Kourtney Kardashian slips back into a bikini for the first time since giving birth to her son, Mason, on December 14th. The reality star gained 40 pounds during her pregnancy and in just three months has already lost an astounding 33 pounds. “Being with Mason was so much more important than working out,” Kourtney explains to Life & Style on why she took her time to shed the pounds. Kourtney shares her secrets to weight-loss success, what boyfriend, Scott Disick, thinks of her new figure — and the couples plans for more babies!

L&S: How does it feel to show off your post-baby body in a bikini?
Kourtney: I feel good! I’m just starting to get comfortable being in a bikini again. I’m excited. Scott told me recently that he could tell my body was changing. He also said he could tell I’m noticing it because I’ll do these stupid dances in the mirror.

L&S: What does Scott think of your new body?
Kourtney: He’s always complimentary. He loved my post-baby body, but I think he’s excited I’m getting my old body back too.

L&S: Have you reached your goal?
Kourtney: I have a few pounds until I get back to what I was before: 100 pounds. But I feel comfortable. I weigh about 107 pounds.

L&S: Would you like another baby right away?
Kourtney: I don’t know. I’ll see what happens, but I’m definitely not opposed to it.

[From Life & Style]

Eh. Whatever. It’s easy to talk about how much weight you lost when you’ve got people Photoshopping you. Now, I’ve seen “candid” photos of Kourtney where she did look great, and she looked healthy and everything. But it does bother me that some woman out there in the world will be looking at this and thinking that her post-pregnancy body isn’t good enough because she doesn’t look like Kourtney’s airbrushed-into-oblivion figure. Whatever.

Kourtney also made it on the OK! Magazine cover this week with Kendra Wilkinson. OK describes the cover story as: “In the new issue of OK! — on sale everywhere Thursday — these two courageous women take on their critics and hit back at the rumors plaguing their personal lives.” Courageous? Are you kidding me? Is Kourtney holding OK Magazine’s dog for ransom? Beyond that, it doesn’t even look like OK scored an interview with Kourtney. They online excerpt reads: “A family source tells OK! that, thanks to Kourtney’s support, Scott ‘has grown up a lot since Mason was born and is proving to be a really good dad.’” Eh. We’ll see. I think Scott has one foot out the door.

They are all sad sad pieces of non-sentient trash. Yuck.

  2. smallwonder2738 says:

Her face is even airbrushed into oblivion on the cover to where she looks like a painting or drawing…not a freaking person!

So basically she is going to come out in a few weeks and say that it was photoshopped and she still doesn’t look like that?? If I remember correctly, it was Life&Style who did the last cover with her ‘post baby body’ (can’t remember but I think she was in a white shirt) and she came back and slammed it saying they photoshopped her.

I am so over this sh*t. Who gives a damn?! I swear with all of the Life&Style covers the Kardashians get for stupid reasons, Kris must be either screwing someone or blackmailing someone at the magazine. We all know she’ll do anything to get her kids names in the press… ANYTHING.

  3. padiddle says:

I find it very crude when women reveal their specific weight in a magazine. I dunno, it just skeeves me out. Why not just be happy looking good, regardless of the specific weight you are.

  4. bellaluna says:

Didn’t she just pitch a bitch-fit about being photo-shopped on the cover of a magazine a few weeks ago? And now she’s okay with it, because she’s getting paid (of course), like I said at the time she pitched said bitch-fit.

I also find it interesting that she had her torso and thighs completely covered in those recent candid pictures of Kim and her on that yacht, but now she’s completely comfortable with showing off her body on the cover of a magazine. Hmmm…

  5. Kolby says:

There’s no way she ever weighed 100 lbs.

  6. Rianna says:

I hate it when they do these post pregnancy articles in magazines. I don’t know about other women but I tend not to buy them because they make me feel guilty about the few extra pounds I can’t shake after having my daughter a few years ago. Maybe I am just sensitive or something? I just find it kinda of irkish. Yeah I am happy for her but she also doesnt have anything to do all day but go to the gym.

  7. Sudini says:

@Rianna – I totally agree. I think these “look how fast I’ve lost the baby weight” articles are really more “look how quickly I’ve conformed back to the impossibly thin standards imposed on women’s bodies”.

It’s an unfair message to send to women and the women who get paid to perpetuate it should be ashamed.

  8. guesty says:

this is far worse than kendra’s photo-shopped cover!

  9. CaramelKiss says:

This magazine lowers my IQ just by looking at the cover. First of all there are so many friggin’ contradictions, it’s insane…So “in just three months has already lost an astounding 33 pounds” but then they say “Kourtney explains to Life & Style on why she took her time to shed the pounds”… THREE EFFING MONTHS is taking your time to lose the weight? WTF? SERIOUSLY! *sigh* I loathe the perpetuation of this kinda crap.

  10. Jillian says:

Kolby, I think she weighed 100. She’s only 5′ tall according to most sources.

  11. dee2 says:

    @Rianna & Sudini

no woman should feel that way after seeing celebs after baby pics considering its all the work of photo-shopping and not them actually going to the gym or dieting. P-shopping all those post pregnancy flaws has been around long before p-shop was a household term, only then it was called ‘air-brushing’. either way, no woman should feel any less b/c of it since most, if not all are aware that they dont really look like that in real life.

  12. Embee says:

I am three and a half weeks postpartum and it stuns me that these women are focussed on their figures, as opposed to their children! And while I have bounced back physically (thanks to luck, Bikram yoga during pregnancy and bfeeding) I can tell you that is the thing about which I am least concerned. Now if you want to see me brag ask me about the multitude of cute expressions my daughter has mastered… In short: priorities, people. Let’s focus on what matters!

  13. Just a Poster says:

Well hell gang, I would look fantablous photo shopped too!

  14. Sudini says:

@dee2 – no woman should feel that way, but the reality is that it’s the same message that says women’s bodies should look a certain way to be acceptable, (the fact that they’re photoshopped is even more irresponsible because its so deceptive).

Much the same way that teen girls are told to look a certain way by the media, which lends itself to eating disorders and low self-esteem. These messages permeate our society and certain, if not most, women are negatively effected by it at some point.

@Embee – congratulations 🙂 And I love what you say about priorites. That’s exactly the message that these magazines should be putting out there.

  15. nj says:

Any woman who takes that kind of photo on the front of those raggy magazines like its the most important thing in the world to be in a bikini three months after your baby is born is an idiot, pure and simple.
I don’t care how good you look- you have nothing going for you in the brains department.

  16. Annabelle says:

First, her sons paternity is none of your beeswax and she certainly doesn’t owe you an explination! Second, she looks great- she looks in the candids like that is indeed her bikkini body, or close. Show me a cover that isn’t photoshopped

  17. Fire says:

Not sure why anyone would ever feel bad about themselves when compared to these women. THEY AREN’T REAL PEOPLE! They don’t have jobs, they have personal trainers, nannies and cooks that help them and yes, they are photoshopped. Why compare? Come on, girls!

And CaramelKiss – 33 pounds in 3 months is not unreasonable. You shed a bunch when you are nursing and if she had trainers and the same diet pills/shakes that her sister(s) use, losing less than 3 pounds a week is actually pretty attainable.

  18. Jillian says:

Most women I know, myself included, lost 20 lbs right away. You’ve got the 7 lb baby out of you as well as another 10 lbs of fluids and placenta. So really, Kourtney has lost maybe 20 lbs in 3 months.

  19. GatsbyGal says:

@Embree – “I am three and a half weeks postpartum and it stuns me that these women are focussed on their figures, as opposed to their children!”

I could not agree more! These women just hand their babies off to nannies and go hit the gym for a couple hours.

  20. gina says:

OMG, who cares?! Do people actually buy into this crap? She was thin before, I am sure she worked out the whole time, its her first baby…I feel very sorry for the average Jane who cannot afford celeb luxuries & is comparing herself to these celebs. Women who fall into that trap should seek counseling to improve their self esteem.

  21. Liz says:

Someone remind me again why any of the Kardashians’s are famous other than, they are the daughter’s of a man who helped a muderer go free!

  22. kill the kardasians says:

And we give a fucking shit because she had a baby, fuck you cunt and fuck you to the idiots who buy these fucking waste of paper magazines!

  23. Bek says:

Those dash girls are probably the most annoying people in hollywood right now. I watch their show when I need to laugh. They can’t even do anything except fight with each other, shop, and string sentences together that sound something like this:
“Like, OMG. I’m soo f—— tired right now…I’m totally, like, worried about my shoot tomorrow.” None of them know what it’s like to work hard, live hard or have a real relationship. Personally, I love how they all came out and denied the break-up rumors from two weeks ago, and yet, suddenly, Kima and Reggie really ARE over. And I love how they’ve all been on the cover of Life and Style at least three times in a bikini. They whine when the coverage is less than flattering, yet they love it when they’re made to look like a degraded piece of ass. Go figure.

  24. Bek says:

P.S.–“kima” was meant to be “kim”. Sorry. And does anybody else find that bikini top to be a bit too small? Your boobs are supposed to fit in the cup portion of the top. The band underneath is supposed to be fitted, empire-like UNDERNEATH the boobs. Not cutting them off in the middle.

  25. d to the p says:

My son was born six months ago and I lost nearly all of the baby weight (30lbs) within 2-3 months of having him. But that’s not typical; I honestly just got lucky.
I have no stretch marks either, but I did have a linea negra (brown line) down my tummy (these take a while to fade and they’re kinda hard to cover with makeup). Most women have some sort of artifacts from their baby.

The problem is not the weight, it’s the tone. NO WAY do you have muscle tone like that three months after a baby’s birth. You can’t even exercise for six weeks post-baby (8 or longer for c-section).
I worry about the message being sent by all these young celebretards. It’s unrealistic and dangerous. Nursing women need to eat 2500 cal per day. Most doctors and trainers will tell you that you should expect it to take 9-10 months to get back — not 3!

  26. d to the p says:

    Embee:

I completely agree about priorities. How do these people always seem to have time for photoshoots, lunches, clubbing, laying at the pool in Vegas, etc.? Even with an army of caregivers at my disposal, I *still* would not have left my son to go pursue frivolous activities. As for it being their work, to that I would say “take maternity leave”.

Congratulations on your new baby, btw. 🙂

  27. kat says:

i agree with number 2 on here.. i mean who cares about these no talent chicks? i like how kourtney acts like she’s an actual celebrity. PLEASE!

  28. mollination says:

Who is Kourtney? I’m serious. The sister of a girl who knew a girl who’s grandfather founded some hotels? That’s a celebrity now? Says who? Us, because we’re legitmizing it. I seriously don’t understand what the kardashians are. I barely understood paris hilton but I figured she was a novelty because everyone liked spying into the life of a slut with money.

  29. Slymm27 says:

Oh stop the whinning! Don’t buy the mag, a million others will. Begin to bother yourselves with such urealistic, photoshopd images, and u only have yourselves to blame. The Kardashians are young, famous and rich, let them bask in it while they still have the chance. It won’t last forever!

  30. Ashley says:

Kolby – she’s only like 5’2 or something. She’s really tiny and she doesn’t have the big ass Khloe and Kim have. She is MUCH tinier than them.

I will say I doubt Scott was “supportive”. He seems like the type of guy to whine and call her fat if she didn’t lose the weight right away. Look at how he whined when she wouldn’t have sex with him because she was afraid for the baby (yes it may not harm him, but she’s valid in being a worried mum).

  31. Vajayjay says:

    Even if Kourtney is 5′ or 5’2″, it doesnt necessarily mean shes an automatic 100 lbs or less. Just like everyone else, even us short people have varying body types. This vaj is only 4’11” and Im 125 lbs. I have quite a bit of butt and boobies ya’ll =}

  32. Jillian says:

I’m 4’11” too, Vajayjay. I’ve also got quite a bit of butt. Not so much the boobies, unfortunately.

  33. Kim says:

Seriously i am boycotting buying any tabloid that has any Kardashian on the cover. These girls are vile, addicted to fame and fortune. Pathetic! Why dont they do some charity work or promote something good instead of sex tapes and their photoshopped bodies.

  34. Kim says:

Being with Mason is so much more important than working out – oh but having him on a reality tv show and me being away from him for hours while shooting magazine covers is ok. This girl is absoultely pathetic!

  35. Kim says:

AS IF!!!!! 107 pds my behind!!!!! Even with photoshopping she doesnt weigh close to 107. But WHO CARES anyhow? Why state a # why not promote healthy eating not dieting to be 107 pds. All the Kardashians are so unintelligent its frightening (except the brother who actually graduated from a good college). Funny he is ony one NOT posing for magazine covers etc.

  36. Ashley says:

You are all jealous that you are still fat bitches after you had your babies it’s kinda funny how obsessed with these celebrities you are that you stalk them and talk down on them simply bc you cant look Like them I feel sorry for you all I truly do:) Quit reading if you can’t handle the fact that you will never look like a kardashian! Xo Ashley:)

  37. Halawawda says:

I just had a baby 3 weeks ago. I gained 65lbs and also gained a post-pregnancy mask of pimples which I also had during pregnancy and what really infuriates me about these types of articles is that they only focus on the weight gain/weight loss aspect of a post-pregnancy body. There are other things that go along with having children that they could focus on such as how did so and so treat their stretchmarks? How are the moods of so and so celebrity fluctuating? What other issues were they confronted with during pregnancy and afterwards? I think women who read these articles also need to realize that most of these celebrities can hire personal chefs and trainers to assist them with weight loss. Not only that, but, they only do those interviews for those magazines to promote themselves and boost their careers so yeah I could foresee the magazine’s editors photoshopping and photocropping pictures. At least with Kendra, you can see her busting her ass to get her body back each week on her TV show whereas with Kourtney no one really knows and yes I know that Kendra is a white trash bitch anyways but I’m just saying

  38. Madeline says:

It looks good, after she gave birth to a child.

  39. Hydrowell says:

Sports and diet are all still doing their job.

  40. Rollhouse says:

Of course it must look good. Yes, she can hire a trainer and a cook, but to lose weight is needed first of all willpower.

  41. Dee says:

Ok,seriously,if you don’t like her then stop going to sites to read about her! Get over your crap and go look at things online that YOU do like. Everyone looses post partum weight differently…some quicker, some faster…Stop hating on the poor girl. She is constantly on the spot light so her figure is important considering that it relates to her job.It doesn’t mean that she doesn’t care about her son…as a matter of fact she is exclusively breast feeding because she wants the very best for her son…can all of you bashing her here say you are also???? I bet not all of you..and does that make you less of a mother? No right…So whoooo cares if and how she lost the weight. If you don’t like someone that’s fine, just move on to talk about things you do like rather than focusing your time on negativity.

  42. PD says:

My favorite is how everyone is commenting on how awful she is for talking about how much weight she lost, and then that same commentor goes on to talk about how much weight she lost in two to three months. So, you bash her for telling her stats, and then you go ahead and brag about yours. Attention seeking, too, perhaps??
