Jesse James’ lawyer whines about “disgusting voyeurism & bullying”

Sandra Bullock Blindsided From Husband Jesse James Alleged Affair With Tattoo Model Michelle McGee

I was ready to call it a day (CB said it was my Easter holiday!) when I saw this new statement that Jesse James’ lawyer has just given to People Magazine. What probably started out as the lawyer simply confirming that Jesse James is back in rehab (after maybe leaving rehab over the weekend), the lawyer then went off the reservation, big time. First off, the lawyer’s name is Joe Yanny. My guess is that his law partner is Joe Mamma? Yes, that makes no sense, and yet I’m still giggling. Second point: Joe Yanny is a whiner. He really feels like his client is the most maligned douche in the world, and Joe Yanny is going to throw him the biggest pity party EVER:

As he continues undergoing treatment for personal issues, Jesse James has one overriding hope.

“When all is said and done, he wants the same people who were living in his house before all this happened to still be living there,” his attorney Joe Yanny tells PEOPLE. “And he wants to save his marriage with the woman he loves more than anything in his life.”

James, who checked into the treatment facility last month after allegations of infidelity against wife Sandra Bullock, “is doing as well as he can be,” says Yanny. “He’s focusing on what he’s doing and trying to make himself better.”

His lawyer also believes the media has gone too far with constant coverage and by naming the treatment facility.

“The First Amendment was not meant to cover the sexual lives of people who are not in office,” says Yanny. “This is sheer voyeurism and bullying, pure and simple. It’s disgusting.”

[From People]

“Sheer voyeurism and bullying, pure and simple. It’s disgusting.” Tut tut. Well excuse us! I mean, we only read about all of the dumb, skanky ladies his client was banging because they sold their stories to whoever would buy them. It’s not like we ran over to Jesse’s house and forced his wang into every piece with a forehead tattoo. Oh, and this bit: “And he wants to save his marriage with the woman he loves more than anything in his life.” Delusion McPipeDream, Esquire. Sandra should be leaving Jesse simply for the fact that Jesse hired this moron for his lawyer.

  1. Jess says:

“is doing as well as he can be,”
Who cares how HE is doing! I wish him nothing but the worst. And some crabs.

  2. Whatever says:

Is there a douche handbook? Step One: Claim to be a sex addict, Step Two: Check into rehab, Step Three: Whine that people are talking about what a dirty rotten whore you are. He is delusional.

  3. machiavelli says:

“..the woman he loves more than anything…” Newsflash: love and respect goes hand in hand. You honor them with your actions. You make sure that you don’t hurt that person intentionally. Such blatant disregard for your wife and the marriage and all that she has done for you, and you have the audacity to claim that you love her?! Get real. Just stop talking. Just disappear!

  4. canadianchick says:

Dear Whiney Yanny: your client is experiencing consequences for his heinous, unprotected sexual behaviour. Tell your client to man up, suck it up, and let Sandy go in peace. Ps. Due to to the prenup your client isn’t getting a dime, so feel free to charge him double.

  5. meme says:

he probably already has crabs. let’s hope he didn’t give them to sandra.

  6. annaloo says:

Okay, those pants… wtf is up with them. they look like a denim barn…

  7. Linda says:

Excuse me – but if Jesse James truly loved Sandra more then anything in life – what the hell was he doing screwing all those skanks??? Is this how a man shows his great love for his woman???? Jesse is a freaking jerk – put him in the same category as Tiger Woods and if their wives stay with them – after what they have slept with – they are just as bad…

  8. Hy Pocrite says:

Hilarious when a person covered in colorful tattoos whines about receiving attention.

  9. oh hey says:

He brought that on himself (as well as Sandra). He need to sit his butt down somewhere.

Is it me, or does he look like Glenn Beck’s younger, skeevy brother?

  10. canadianchick says:

Oh yeah, and interesting that JJ was photographed mimicking the biggest bully in modern history and now he’s playing the victim/persecuted role: what a douche.

  11. d says:

ah, yer on fire, there, Kaiser. good article!

  12. PB&J says:

Ha! This guy is the pits. Keep flaying him!

  13. Feebee says:

logic and this guy is like oil and water

  14. Annie says:

    Love it! “Delusion McPipeDream, Esquire”
    Perfect. LOL

  15. Beth says:

I do agree with lawyer about the situation being “voyeurism and bullying” but only from Sandra’s point of view not Jesse’s. Although knowing that your husband was married to a porn star is a huge red flag, Sandra didn’t bring this on herself. Why wouldn’t a wife trust their husband?

  16. Novaraen says:

“When all is said and done, he wants the same people who were living in his house before all this happened to still be living there”

    Uh….cue moving truck.

Jesse’s lawyer is the WORST. He is only making him look more skeevy than he already is.

  17. RobN says:

I think he has a different definition of “woman he loves more than anything in his life” than the rest of us do.

Trying to make him look like the victim is not going to gain him the sympathy he apparently thinks it will.

  18. Sigh. says:

    Love it.

He trolls for hoes on THE INTERNET, cheats on his CELEBRITY wife, MULTIPLE TIMES, and WE’RE being voyeuristic?

I’m sorry, but when some drops a bomb in quiet room, I tend to look towards the source of the noise. I can be funny that way sometimes.

  19. DoMaJoReMc says:

First of all, I think most of you posters will remember a few months ago I claimed Sandra Bullock to be my GIRL CRUSH. So, I am in NO WAY sticking up for Jesse James and all his wrongdoings. HOWEVER, I do think that something should be done about the employee from this treatment center for breach of privacy. She should NEVER have confirmed that JJ was even there. How can anyone ever have a reasonable expectation of privacy if their employees are going to go to radio stations/news media about their clients?

Now on the second note…JJ ought to just put his tail between his legs and skulk away like the dog that he is. If he really is pissed off about all the ‘voyeurism’, etc. he should be pissed off at BoobSlutMcUgly.

How the hell does he think Sandra feels? I mean REALLY? She has nothing to hide away from, but she is still hiding. 🙁

    That’s just my take…Anyone? Anyone?

  20. irishserra says:

“…with the woman he loves more than anything in his life…”

    really?

    REALLY?

  21. wow says:

Well we should all just go stand in a corner. And our hearts should just bleed for poor little put- upon innocent Jesse who only wanted to bang a few skanks in private while also putting his wife’s health at risk.

    *major side-eye*

  22. juiceinla says:

well this lawyer is an bleeding idiot- if you place yourself in the public eye, by perhaps, having a REALITY SHOW about yourself (and say you marry one of the worlds most famous actresses and walk the red carpet, alot) then your 1st amendment right to privacy is completely different than a truly private citizen, and politicians are a totally different category.

1st year law school textbook shit…. Why is anyone listening to this maroon?

  23. Justalark says:

Like all married people who cheat, Jesse knowingly gambled with his spouse’s love and his family’s happiness. He knew what the stakes were every single time he sought out sex with other women. Furthermore, by not using protection, he also gambled his health and the health of “the person he (allegedly) loves more than anything in his life.” Surprise, surprise–like all long-term gamblers, he eventually lost, and now he has to pay up. No violins for him!

  24. snowball says:

Aw, he’s whining about his privacy being violated. I do agree that the people at the facility should keep their yaps shut though.

Not a word about the “woman he loves more than anything,” having to deal with all the press and how he’d take all the media pressure on himself if they’d just leave her alone.

Man up and quit yer whining, asshole.

  25. Wondering says:

Did anyone tell Yanny that the First Amendment is not in place to provide a soapbox for a lawyer to plead for pity for his douchebag client? Jesse wouldn’t be crying if he didn’t get caught with his pants down, he would just still be pulling his pants down!

  26. d says:

I like in this situation that Bullock hasn’t said A WORD in public, which is as it should be. She seems to be the kind of person will only issue a terse statement once she’s got all her financial and legal ducks in a row. My bet is that it will likely be the same day that she has the divorce papers delivered to James. And that’s all she’ll ever say, again, which is as it should be. That relationship was doomed to fail anyway — I hope she moves on after an appropriate period and finds a better man to hang with. She deserves it.

  27. oh hey says:

@Beth. I can cut Sandra and other woman slack if he married a woman in the sex industry once, maybe even twice. I dated a guy who went out with a stipper. But Jesse has a history of skandom, and you’re right, she should put more thought into that.

  28. RobN says:

@DoMa, I tend to agree with you, but I think there’s a pretty good chance that the leak about what rehab he was at came from Jesse’s camp and not from an employee. Most people seem to think that it’s the same rehab that Tiger went to after he was finished at that Southern one, nobody opened their mouth then, and that was a way bigger story than idiot Jesse.

  29. oh hey says:

    DoMaJoReMc,

I’m sure that employee is fired by now.

  30. Bullett says:

Why doesn’t his lawyer just go ahead and proclaim April 5th national “pick-on-a-nice-nazi- day? I really feel for this guy, he’s quite the victim!

  31. Sigh. says:

I missed it — Did an actual PROVEN employee come out to the media regarding him?

We all know how an anonymous source, friend, family spokesperson, someone close to the family/in the camp, former classmate, eye witness, former employee, present employee, cousin of the mailman, and “the voices in my head” are all interchangeable sources in the tabloid game.

  32. Solveig says:

“As he continues undergoing treatment for personal issues…”
It is amazing that people like him need “undergoing treatment for personal issues” only when they get caught up red-handed. Call it self consciousness…
    Hypocrit.
You can’t force someone to rehab if it’s not its choice, though.

  33. TG says:

@annaloo – I commented on his Wal-Mart pants awhile back but your comment was so much better and got me laughing my head off.

And as someone said above, why isn’t Jesse or his Yanny Nanny talking about how they wish for peace for Sandy and not Jesse what a douche. I hope she isn’t evening giving him the time of day no phone calls either. She should’t bother asking for an explanation. There isn’t one needed. He’s a douch.

  34. Wresa says:

Thanks TG and analoo for the Wal-Mart Denim pants joke. I used it with my friends and they thought I was quite clever. 😛

  35. SolitaryAngel says:

“When all is said and done, he wants the same people who were living in his house before all this happened to still be living there”

One of the previous posts about Sandra included a link to an interview she did with Babwa and when Babwa asked SB where she saw herself in 5 years, THIS IS THE ANSWER Sandra gave!!!! What a cheap fucking way to fling her own words back at her! 🙁

  36. bellaluna says:

I absolutely love how the asshat who caused all this drama and pain is now the one claiming victimhood (via his lawyer, natch). Never mind about his innocent wife, who won an Oscar and should have been able to bask in that glow, enjoying that high for much longer than the 8 whole days she had before this obnoxious story came out. Never mind about his 3 children, who love and respect their step-mom and the stabilising force she brings to their lives and home. Never mind that said asshat brought this on all of them, and now expects absolution for his despicable acts. Yeah, he “wants all the people who were living in his house before all this happened to still be living there.” Keep dreaming, dumbass. Why didn’t it matter BEFORE you embarked on your skank parade? Sometimes guys just floor me. This would be one of those times.

  37. p3rp3tu4 says:

Being put on an pedestal or bookshelf like a trophy while the “other(s)” get fully detailed doesn’t sound very loved.

  38. archiepelago says:

Doubt she’ll ever make a ‘statement’. I know I wouldn’t. I’d cut him off completely (tearing off sleeve and spitting at the ground in ‘you’re dead to me’ Italian Mama style), communicate only through a lawyer and when the time is right years later, allow someone to mention it in an interview and then I’d brush it off as if it never occurred to me to even discuss it. That’s about as much attention as men like him deserve.

“The First Amendment was not meant to cover the sexual lives of people who are not in office”. What the arse does this even mean?

  39. Sincerity says:

Somehow, I think the attorneys for Tiger Woods and Mel Gibson would beg to differ with Mr. Yanny. Jesse James is certainly not the most maligned adulterer on the planet. The public in which Jesse James makes a pretty nice living from, did not tell him to prowl the Internet in search of the “carnival sideshow freaks” he decided banged on his office sofa. These skanky hos did not stalk him! He willingly pursued them! You’d think he would have chosen women with more going for themselves rather than exacting revenge on a married man in which they had no business freaking with in the first place. Of course not! He preferred mouthy, delusional, troubled train wrecks to “float his boat” and now his marriage is probably well on its’ way to Davy Jones’ locker at the bottom of the sea never to be resurrected. The public, the press or the Internet is not to blame. His client gambled with his marriage and simply “crapped-out”.

  40. d says:

@34; good point and a better scenario. i think i meant by my earlier comment re “as it should be” re statement, that she doesn’t owe the public any story or whatever. to acknowledge all the hoopla, I imagined a short statement might serve to take the wind out of the tabloids’ sails, but absolute silence is even better.

ALTHOUGH, re lawyer’s comments: perhaps it now behooves him to specify what exactly was NOT true in all the stories that have come out (as per James’ statement the day or so after the scandal broke)…I mean, his lawyer hasn’t exactly elaborated on how James’ side merits some sympathy.

So, Bullock doesn’t need to say anything. James needs better PR.

  41. Richi says:

I hate him! i honestly can’t think how a person like Sandra could even marry him??? he’s a douche bag!!

  42. Jenny says:

That statement from his Yanni assphat lawyer makes me want to vomit. The first sentence from the lawyer is almost a direct quote from SANDRA BULLOCK. When she did the pre-Oscar interview with Barbara Walter, she responded to BW’s question of where do you see yourself in 10 years with that she hopes “the same people that are in my house today will be there in 10 years.” And then after all this shit that JJ pulled, his lawyer has the balls to basically quote the person that JJ destroyed. AHHH. I just re-watched the BW / SB interview and how lovingly SB talks about JJ makes me cry now that we know the true JJ.

  43. OXA says:

    sheer voyeurism and bullying
    Was he describing Jesse here?

  44. lucy2 says:

Grr, everyday I just want to punch him in his stupid head. The more he whines and says he hopes they can work it out, the worse he seems. Accept responsibility and leave Sandra alone, done enough harm already.
Seriously, now it’s the public’s fault for not turning a blind eye? He chose to cheat, and he chose atrocious skanks willing to sell him out. Only himself to blame.
That lawyer seems kind of hilarious. I wonder if he’s from the same firm representing Jon Gosselin, as both seemed overly dramatic about the hurt feelings of their dirtbag clients.

I would think if a rehab employee leaked the info, they’d be fired, but I too suspect it came from Jesse’s camp.

  45. Lisa says:

WTF cares about HIM?!?! This dirt bag created his own effing problems with no regard what so every for the supposed family that, wait for it…wait for it, that he loves so much!!! You just sh*t all over your life, all over your children’s life and especially all over your wifes life! And OMG, now he’s walking around with sad puppy eyes wanting us to feel sorry for him?!?! HAHAHAHA……as*wipe deserves everything he gets!! I love reading about his misery!!!!
