Princess Kate repeated a cream Self Portrait suit for 2026 Easter Sunday

Some members of the British royal family attended their annual Easter church service in Windsor on Sunday. Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie did not attend, despite attending in previous years. Reportedly, Beatrice and Eugenie were “invited” but declined King Charles’s invitation, and after that announcement, Prince William tried to take credit for banning them and/or throwing a tantrum and threatening not to come if his cousins were invited. So who all was there? Princess Anne and Tim Laurence came out (they’re regulars at Easter services), and they brought Peter Phillips and his fiancee Harriet Sperling. Harriet brought her daughter from her first marriage as well. Interestingly, Prince Edward and his son James were there, but Sophie and Lady Louise were not?? It feels very… divorced-parents splitting up the major holidays. Hello Mag said that Sophie was scheduled to appear but she was “under the weather.” Hmm. And obviously, King Charles and Camilla were there. Between the struggling numbers for Easter and the empty barricades on Commonwealth Day, it’s certainly giving “irrelevant royals.”

Prince William and Kate were in attendance for the first time since 2023, and they brought all three kids, as you can see. This is only the second time Kate has been seen since March 18th, the Nigerian state dinner. The only other time she was out was for the enthronement of the new Archbishop of Canterbury on March 25th. It’s likely that this Easter appearance will be the only public event on her schedule for like four weeks or something.

For a second, I thought Kate’s cream suit was new, but then I remembered that (ugly) pineapple applique – she wore this Self Portrait ensemble before, about four years ago. She paired the old suit with a new hat from Juliette Botterill, who has become Kate’s new favorite milliner. I actually love the hat? It’s sharp and it’s my favorite part of Kate’s ensemble. Kate also wore the famous Bahrain pearl drop earrings (from the Royal Collection) and a new pair of Ralph Lauren pumps. She carried a bag from DeMellier. Princess Charlotte also repeated a look – that’s the same coat Charlotte wore last Christmas. It’s probably her favorite coat. I can only imagine the conspiracies the derangers would come up with if another royal girl wore the same coat in two public appearances though.

The ladies were the same sort of clothes as the rest of us who are old enough wore in the 1950s

    • Caitliin says:

I came on to say something similar. It doesn’t matter which designer it is – many names I recognize – their clothes always look so dowdy and dated. I am over 50 and no matter what the occasion, I couldn’t bring myself to wear anything they typically wear.

      • Kit says:

Why are they wearing Hats to church who does that ? I don’t get it, is it a Church of England thing? I mean my Granny always wore a hat to mass well in to get 80s ….so dated performative at best and really just looks pretentious, Kate suit is fine, something my aunt would wear, fits well ,v her

James reminds me of Philip, handsome lad, it’s funny you mentioned these two.Sophie and Eddie, there was a article today about them both looking at each other in a sweet way , hmmmmmm

      • Yvette says:

@Kit … Regarding the hats in church for the royal ladies. You’re obviously not a Black Southern Baptist. 🙂 Something that seems to never change whenever I go home for visits (Birmingham or Atlanta)–church on Sunday means a hat, a fan, and a handkerchief in your purse.

      • Me at home says:

@Kit, hats on Easter Sunday are also an Episcopalian thing here in the States. So it seems likely it’s an Anglican thing too.

      • KC says:

@Yvette, I was thinking the same thing. I’m from Louisville and Easter and Derby are two major hat occasions.

      • Gail says:

“Oh, I could write a sonnet about your Easter bonnet
And of the girl I’m taking to the Easter parade….” Irving Berlin wrote a whole song!
Easter bonnets used to be a big thing when I was a girl growing up in Montreal. We children went to both a United Church and an Anglican church (depending on the weather, the UC was closer, but we were registered in the A church. In winter, the A church was another 5 or 6 blocks away, too cold!!!) whilst our parents slept in. The only day they weren’t still asleep when we children got back from church was Easter Sunday. We’d come home and have our Easter Egg hunt usually inside the duplex because it would most often still be wintery outside at Easter, back East.

      • Alice says:

@Kit nothing pretentious about it, just cultural. Covered head in church is a thing in many European cultures, and many of us prefer a nice hat.

    • Starry Owl says:

@Kaiser always warns us and yet I never think it’s going to be as bad as it always is. When will I learn?!?

What in the pineapple heck ….

      • Dee says:

Between the pineapple boobs and the piecrust hat, maybe Kate is angling to get on some cooking shows.

      • Starry Owl says:

It also has fake pockets, a belt and pineapples. It looks like a flak jacket that tried to have a pineapple glow up. What was the designer thinking?!?

      • kelleybelle says:

The “pineapples” were the best they could do to give poor Kitty some semblance of boobage …

        Cut your hair, Kate!

      • irisrose says:

^ Get a shorter wig, Kate.

      • BeanieBean says:

‘…piecrust hat’. Yes! That’s exactly my thought when I looked at that photo! Those are leaves you cut out of the extra dough to make the top of your pie look pretty.

      • Debbie says:

All I know is that Mies van der Rohe, the Bauhaus architect whose philosophy was “Less is more” would have a stroke at the sight of Kate’s outfits. She seems to gravitate towards designers who just keep on adding more and more elements to their garments. Actually, this could probably be one of Kate’s more “austere” efforts, I’m surprised that the flaps don’t have pleats and buttons on them and there’s is not more of a pagoda shoulder thing going on.

  2. I actually like her hat too but the skirt is too long and again she is withering away. Whatever Botox or facial procedure she had some time ago, the partial paralysis comes out on and off. I don’t know any other way to describe it.

Her teeth are a nice shade of white unlike her husband’s.

    Their babies are cute tho.

    • convict says:

Most children are cute … these ones have the best of everything and expensive clothing. They are clearly having royal “training”, it’s very obvious now.

      • Oliie says:

From down under in-depth reporting about the state of the realm:

        https://youtu.be/rmH4b7nWf-0

Since the Thatcher years with privatization, private equity groups buying and monopolizing everything and then renting them back to the populace, Brits are getting poorer. By a lot. State Productivity < 1% while inflation skyrocketed.

Many, many countries are undergoing a radical transfer of wealth to the very richest while nationalistic and populist parties are flipping democracies.

So HELLO Nigel (Farage) Make Britain Great and White again (post Brexit— with the highest poverty rate at 21% in 30 years).

But yeah THIS is why the unwashed, dirty, huddled masses are pissed and have no patience for over privileged, pervy, royals sucking at the public teets. But Given their news media, social media, economic levers are in the hands of the newly knighteds and old Etonians and good ol’billionaires— poorer is where they will be. Hey it’s Make Serfdom Great Again!

While YT is cluttered with carefully curated “slow living” in the Costalotwald or Isle of Sky, the rest of Brits (and Americans/Aussies/Swedes) are in Bangkok or DaNang explaining how to live well off UK poverty line pension/wage.

  3. Tessa says:

Keen is looking daggers at someone. I notice Charles is more tactile with the Wales kids. Maybe he wants to try to improve his image yet he still has nothing to do with the Sussex kids
I notice that two divorced people peter and Harriet Are getting ready for their wedding. And only Meghan gets criticized by bots and derangers for being divorced

    • Blubb says:

I bet they read the he is the worst grandfather ever tweets. So touching a grandchild it is. Convincing… Not.

      • Tessa says:

I guess his advisers urged him to pay attention to the Wales kids. The media commented how he patted the kids on the shoulder. There seems no warmth though

      • convict says:

He merely put his finger on Charlotte’s coat. It’s hardly affectionate! My standards must be very high, ha, ha.

    • jais says:

Where do you see looking daggers? All I really notice is the space between her and William. The kids are always in the middle and there’s no eye contact. Unlike Harriet and Peter who left the church holding hands.

      • Tessa says:

Maybe it’s the arched eyebrow.but the first two pictures. It’s more pronounced in the first one where she stands next to George and Charles is facing them.

      • convict says:

Actually, taking a closer look, she may have been crying? Her eyes are puffy.

      • irisrose says:

It is genetics, not crying. She’s already had upper and lower blephs but that was years ago. They only last so long before you get them done again.

      • Nic919 says:

The video makes the space really obvious because at one point William and the kids are well ahead of her.
Of course if it was anyone else there would be a hundred stories about it, but those three kids are buffers for the parents and it remains obvious in the video clips.

    • SunnyDays says:

She does look more villainous than usual @Tessa. I wonder if Harriet and her daughter’s presence is hard for Kate. She likes being the only woman under 50 at these events, otherwise she feels overshadowed. All we have to do is look at how she treated Meghan…

  4. vs says:

Only one thing … she looks rough and this is so boring my gosh! No wonder the daily fail tries to link this to the Sussexes. There is nothing even worth talking about here… 30s of my time I will never get back

    • Mumster says:

She is certainly aging like milk and William has been nothing to look at since his teen years. No wonder they are constantly seething about the effortlessly glam Meghan.

  5. Hypocrisy says:

They are just boring, even with the children in attendance they just radiate “Blah”….

    • irisrose says:

This wouldn’t matter if they would get to work doing 500+ engagements each per year. W&K need to get over the fact that they (and their kids) lack all charisma. Stop spending millions in taxpayer funds on SM, buying magazine cover placement, and hyping themselves up. Go to work.

Philippe and Mathilde of Belgium are boring, but they show up and do their jobs.

  6. Tessa says:

I see the public who watches them still gives them flowers. Annoying.

  7. Eliza says:

Needs some spring colors. Very drab. Very boring.

  8. Amy Bee says:

The Ralph Lauren shoes are not new. Kate started wearing them during the pandemic and after Meghan wore a khaki suede version of those shoes when she was a working royal. So we know when Kate found out about that Ralph Lauren also made shoes. As for her outfit, weren’t we told that royal women only wore bright colours? Looks like Kate was trying to blend in yesterday. I also think that Peter was told by the Palace that he had to bring Harriet to the Easter Service.

    • jais says:

I’d imagine the palace and the press were happy to have him, Harriet and their three teenage daughters there to provide interest and distraction.

    • convict says:

Peter doesn’t look happy. But it’s rather silly that he’s in the news. He is not royal, though he is a member of the family. The announcements about his engagement and wedding are really over the top. Is he a private citizen or not?

      • jais says:

It’s pretty clear that his wedding is going to be turned into a distraction narrative by both the palace and the press. Don’t think he has a choice over that, but also like his sister and all the cousins, their proximity to the RF has always been a way to also make money in whatever endeavor they’re currently engaged in. For what it’s worth, I thought he seemed fine?

      • convict says:

I didn’t think of the distraction angle!

Agree, they all get an advantage by the royal connection. Peter was flogging milk in China, wasn’t he? And he got that easy deal for one of QEII’s jubilees. Then there was the first wedding disaster where they got a grand deal from Hello IIRC.

I haven’t looked closely at the photos, but he just looked slightly downcast. I read there was booing, so it could have been just that. He also could be unhappy by being forced to be there!

      • jais says:

They were booed? Huh. That’s wild. I would’ve thought they were safe at the Easter walk.

      • anotherlily says:

Peter Phillips is royal. He is a grandson of Elizabeth III and a nephew of Charles III. He is in the line of succession behind Princess Anne. Being royal depends on blood connection. It doesn’t depend on titles.

      • jais says:

He is royal absolutely but not a “working royal” which apparently mean something/S.

      • irisrose says:

He’s looking to monetize this wedding too; he’s happy to show up and pose on demand.

      • convict says:

Peter Phillips isn’t royal. He is a member of the royal family. Lady Ella Windsor’s great grandfather was George V – that doesn’t make her royal. The titles are royal. That’s the clue.

      • convict says:

@jais: I’m sure I read it somewhere, might explain W’s dour face …
        @irisrise: agreed, he’s an opportunist.

      • Alice says:

@CONVICT you are confusing peerage with blood. With or without a title, a royal blood person IS royal by definition. Blood trumps everything, this is the core concept of royalty, inheritance, and privilege. Titles may or may not be given and have been taken away too but a title cannot make anyone royal. It does NOT in any way impact the blood connection i.e. royal heritage. Case in point, Andrew might not have titles now but he’s royal by blood and that’s not going to change.

  9. StillDouchesOfCambridge says:

    George is getting tall
    Kate is washing away

  10. Oh look at the non believer evil demon walking to church with his unhappy family. Wonder what it took for him to agree to this little PR walk.

    • Beverley says:

I’m surprised that he wasn’t struck dead by lightning for even going near a church. He’s a mean, awful man who would benefit from emulating church elders and the Christ. I don’t consider myself Christian, but I know Jesus is supposed to be an example of how to live. And William seems eschew the ethics and dictates of what will be “his” church to govern.

  11. Tuesday says:

Suit is much baggier than it was in 2022, Kate.

    • Interested Gawker says:

      Yes, the difference is stark!
She was so often tailored to within an inch of her life, as tidy as a doll. Her coat dress looks were retro and she was strikingly thin even then but she looked immaculate.

Now she’s swamped by clothes that we’ve seen her look better fitted in.

  12. jais says:

She looks fine and put together. I wish the hat was maybe a different color though just so it wasn’t all that one monochrome. And maybe a pair of black heels instead of brown. But fine.

  13. ICorrine says:

It’s Easter, not a fashion show. I think everyone looks fine. I like Kate’s hat.

    • ArtFossil says:

Guessing you’re not from the South.

    • Me at home says:

Kate’s hat is nice, but it would have been even nicer if her hair had been up, like it was for her last 2-3 outings.

I would have liked that Self Portrait outfit better without the lacy things tacked onto the bodice. Sometimes I just don’t get Self Portrait, and I say that as someone who has bought some of their stuff at 80% discounts in online second-hand shops. Even better would have been an Easter pastel, and this time I’d forgive the royals for doing QEII palettes. But I guess it’s her comfort zone, structured with the very high belted waist to make her legs look longer, so it’s fine.

    • Lamb Chop says:

Except for the royals it most definitely is a fashion show. It’s most of the content around these pap strolls other than who has been banned

    • jais says:

Ummm. It is also kind of a fashion show. That’s part of the royal schtick.

    • convict says:

Hmmm, do you follow the royals? It’s one of the biggest events in their calendar for the public – the Easter walk to church.

    • Myself says:

Easter Parade – it’s not just a Judy Garland movie 😉

      • ICorrine says:

Easter Parade is exactly what I was thinking!! I know women put on their Sunday Best for Easter, complete with hats and gloves. The royals are so staid I rarely look to them for fashion statements.

    • BeanieBean says:

Ooh, goodness, there’s a whole song & Hollywood movie musical about the Easter Parade! Yes, it’s a fashion show!

  14. Jayna says:

Everyone looks nice for the Easter Sunday service.

  15. convict says:

In all the photos you can see the physical and emotional distance between W&K. There is definitely something going on. There is no interaction between them at all. It’s quite striking.

W looks deeply unhappy, Kate is hamming it up for the cameras, as usual. Kate grabbed Charlotte’s hand so that she wouldn’t be left walking alone.

    • jais says:

I actually thought Kate was hamming less than usual. I didn’t really see her super hamming it up for the cameras, less than usual anyways, or may I just didn’t notice. But agree with everything else you said. Especially the distance and lack of any interaction whatsoever. Having Peter and Harriet there didn’t help due to the juxtaposition. Same as it was with Harry and Meghan whenever they were near the Wales. A couple that makes eyes contact, smiles at each other and even holds hands is such a stark contrast that it’s hard not to notice.

      • convict says:

Oh, to be clear, I agree with you. I was a bit lazy with my post … true, she’s not hamming it up as much as she usually does. But she is smiling and W isn’t even making an effort. Does that make sense?

      • jais says:

True. But that’s kind of their usual. She’s smiling and making an effort while he is giving nothing. But I do agree that they felt even less enthused than usual to be there. It was the first time in a while and Easter is smack in the middle of their school holiday which must mess with their holiday plans. And yeah the interactions between them was nil, not even a festive glance to be found from what I can tell.

      • convict says:

Thanks, forgot about their holidays. Charlotte at least looks happy to be there.

If they are this moody and resentful to disrupt their 3rd or 4th holiday for the year – I’d argue that their entire life is one big holiday – then there are going to be strong headwinds when W is crowned King.

How childish and ungrateful are they? They can’t even put on a show for the public that pay for their lavish lifestyles and go without to fund the monarchy generally.

      • jais says:

Lol. They showed up. They walked. They fulfilled their duty. No, William wasn’t beaming but he rarely does. He did say small r.

      • convict says:

The bar is really low then. They should show some gratitude for the life they live, which is unearned.

  16. Over it says:

Why is Anne husband looking at Kate like he thinks she is pitiful. Also for someone who doesn’t work and has been on vacation and has a full staff, Kate looks rough.

    • Interested Gawker says:

I wonder if she does have staff anymore. There has been a marked decline in her grooming at public appearances. Wiglet gopher is definitely gone if the state of her hair is any indication.

    • convict says:

Lack of nutrients and toxic marriage.

      • irisrose says:

Both of which are her personal choice. None of the Windsors want her around, William’s at the top of that list.

Kate chooses to stay where she isn’t wanted. No she wouldn’t lose the children in a divorce, not in this public day and age.

    • Nic919 says:

Kate tends to ham it up for the cameras more than the others and that is likely what Tim is reflecting.

    • kelleybelle says:

Smoking, drinking, stress, over-exercising and years of rigid dieting.

  17. QuiteContrary says:

That applique on Kate’s suit is hideous. And I can’t help but to associate pineapple motifs now with swingers lol.

Cream does not suit her. She just looks washed out. She clearly needs some Mustique sun.

    • convict says:

I agree, I don’t like the outfit at all. It looks cheap.

      • Me at home says:

It definitely looks cheap. I could pop into Joanne’s Fabrics, buy a similar appliqué in the bridal department, and tack it onto some article of clothing in 10 mins, 1/2 hour if I were being super careful.

      • irisrose says:

        Back when Joanne’s existed. Sigh.

      • Nic919 says:

Part of the issue is that she has the peplum set far above her natural waist and so it sits too high on her, especially when she walks.

She has also lost even more weight from when she last wore it in 2022.

      • Anare says:

Kate’s outfit reminds me of 1980’s Spiegel catalog “Together” line. LMAO! IYKYK.

  18. Little Red says:

I like Anne’s coat and fedora hat especially the color of them.

  19. Sharon says:

I bet if Kate wasn’t wearing heels, she and George are most likely the same height. He’s going to be quite tall and he’s only 12.

  20. Tessa says:

The media is going with the great grandfather spin with Charles. Never mind that he never sees the Sussex grandchildren and it seems that the Wales grandchildren spend a lot of time with the middletons

  21. Joanne says:

Kate looks dreadful. I zoomed in on her face and she looks seriously ill. The bags and circles under her eyes are dark. She is fading away and no one in that family cares.

    • irisrose says:

This is what Kate looks like, what she’s always looked like. You may be used to the photoshop that has been done on her for two decades.

Kate chooses to stay where no one wants her. That’s her greedy, status chasing choice. She is free to leave at any time. They’d all love to see the back of her.

  22. Sue says:

Kate and Charlotte should be featured on the Sad Beige Child instagram account.

  23. Ameerah M says:

She never wore DeMellier bags until Meghan did…I have the one Meghan has and it’s a great bag. The quality is amazing and the price point isn’t bad for a designer handcrafted leather bag.

  24. Gemini says:

Honestly I prefer Kate in this silhouette with a full skirt, a peplum jacket and a belt to define the waist. It gives her a semblance of a few curves at least. This looks much better on her than the long column styles she likes which make her look like a stick figure.

  25. YankeeDoodles says:

I’m actually thinking that including Peter Phillips in events like this is about more than providing a distraction narrative or a flash of happy normal life. It’s about surrounding George (and the spares) with alternative role models, and potentially, alternatives to Andrew & Harry, should they ever need to impose a regency, say, if he acceded whilst under 18. That would be standard operating procedure even if William were not mental and Charles did not have cancer. They are really looking at a depleted batting order. They said slimmed down monarchy but it’s positively emaciated. Edward look as unwell as William does, and doesn’t really have the character or personality — two different but compelling dimensions — to provide another point of orientation. AFAIK, Peter’s daughters live with their mother in Monaco, and their stepfather is a billionaire. That leaves him with a lot of time on his hands, even allowing for his role as a stepparent, and, potentially, the drive to serve his country or family or the monarchy, in an alternative role. Princess Anne has form for stabilising the Wales’ kids’ lives, going back to the selection of Tiggy as their nanny. Tiggy’s mother — who recently passed away — was Anne’s friend, and a lady in waiting to the late Queen. It’s the unique corner of the family edifice that’s sound.

    • irisrose says:

Anne is a criminal, cheater, and is current having it on with Andrew Parker Bowles. She isn’t any great role model for anyone.

Milk Prince, Zara, and MAGAT Mike Tindall are base grifters. All they’re looking to do for the country, the family, or the monarchy is make money off of their connections. Jubilee picnic debacles is only one example of their shadiness and greed.

Is Autumn’s boyfriend still married to his wife of two decades?

      • YankeeDoodles says:

This is to @Irisrose, curious why you say Anne is a criminal. I know she was fined for having a dog that was off lead and bit a kid. I don’t know if that makes her a felon. Cheating? Sure. But her husband cheated also. Her ex had at least one kid whilst he was married to Anne. I mean…. It’s relative. APB? Old flame. I can easily understand it. She didn’t break up his marriage, his late wife died, she had cancer. She didn’t break up his marriage to Camilla, either. He was seeing other people, he ended up marrying one of them. It’s kind of baked into their whole dynamic. I don’t know Autumn’s marital status, but AFAIK, she’s been with her steady guy for a few years, based in his Monegasque post code.

      • Tessa says:

Charles hired t i g g y as a surrogate mother to the boys after he and duana separated. I think he did this out of spite to diana. T i g g y even trashed diana as a mother to the media. Saying she was better with the boys than their own mother.

      • irisrose says:

Anne’s currently cheating on Tim with APB

You want to brush off this bitch letting her untrained dogs attack children in public parks? It is a crime, she was convicted, and it is a choice to think her actions are just fine.

Anne has raised racist, grifter children. She is no positive role model and hasn’t provided any sort of fabulous corner stone to the royal family. Her latest concern was about her pedophile bother’s mental health.

When the investigations into shady funding commence? She should be required to pay back the 500,000 Crown Estate funds spent on her personal property. With interest.

Autumn’s ‘boyfriend’ is still married to his wife of 20+ years. Guess that’s how some Catholics decide to live out their lives. Don’t get divorced, the Church won’t let you, and he’d have to pay out all that money in alimony. Just get a public sidepiece and pretend everything is respectable.

As others have written, the daughters aren’t living in Monaco. They’re in boarding school in the UK.

Tessa, Harry seems to love Tiggy. She was one of the few people invited to Archie’s christening and may be one of his godparents.

      • Tessa says:

Yes I know irisrose that harry is fond of t i g g y. I was referring to how she talked about Diana to the media and that Charles apparently condoned it. She presented herself as better at taking care of the boys than their own mother.

      • irisrose says:

Harry has probably read all about it. And still gives her a place in his and his family’s lives.

Every so often we need to remember that Harry knows more about his own past, present, and future than we do. He’s accepted whatever it is Tiggy did or said and has moved on.

    • Blujfly says:

autumn really moved to Monaco? Are the girls not in British schools? I believe they are both full boarders and have been for some time.

    • Tessa says:

I don’t think Anne was or is close to harry and William. She made it known she resents her doing Williams work and wore a feathered hat sitting in front of harry.

    • Lamb Chop says:

Regency relates to LOS not “role models”. Willy and chuck would need to both die in the next 6 years, do not that likely. PP is a grifter living with his mummy, not exactly a role model.

  26. Plums says:

It really is a fucked up way to grow up though, isn’t it? Where major holidays mean doing business chores like this performative display and dressing up in your confining, c suite finest for a line of photographers. The contrast between celebrating Easter like this and celebrating it by running around in your back yard hunting for eggs. Harry is a hero for making sure his kids don’t have to grow up the way he did and are free to be normal kids.

    • Delta Juliet says:

How bad are we supposed to feel for them? With the wealth, vacation and life of luxury they live, I don’t feel too bad that this is their Easter.

  27. TN Democrat says:

George is as tall as his mom if she weren’t wearing the fugly hat and f#ck me spiked heals to a church event that requires walking. She is literally fading away. Who is she deliberately mocking wearing pineapples to a church event? The kids body language seems happier and more relaxed than usual, but the adults look tense and miserable. Even Anne isn’t faking being content. What is going on behind the scenes and how much has the belligerent tyrant no one can stand shown his full ass behind the scenes lately?

  28. Elly says:

Louis is a cutie. I feel kind of sad for Louis and hope that William thinks about what kind of role model he, William is to George. Does Wills want George to treat his spare (Louis) like William treats Harry?

  29. Wildrose says:

The Wails two are hypocrites of the highest order. Neither of them have a hope in hades of redemption. Their narcissistic traits are well and truly ingrained in every fibre of their being. The Wails are teaching their children lessons that will take years of counselling and courage to walk away from, however, that will never happen. They may well have inherited the laziness gene which their parents have perfected by choice.

These smug, self centered, self important tossers should have been on their knees in that Church praying for forgiveness rather than a photo op to sell the lies they are peddling.

The pair of them are revelling in the pain and distress that they are causing to Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, as well as the continued vindictive behaviour that these bullies are inflicting on The Duke and Duchess of Sussex which would have the Sainted Diana turning in her grave.

Stuff what Mrs Wails is wearing, or for that matter her excruciating dance of joy for getting rid of more competition within the nest of vipers called the Windsors. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh will be next on Mr Wails list for the cardinal sin of checking in on his brother. Still no explanation from Bully Wails as to the money his charity accepted from Epstein especially as to where it went and when are that house of cards going to be raided like his Uncle Andrew’s?

Mr Wails is an outright nasty piece of work who met an equally childish nasty person to add more vitriol to the poisonous mixture that they have perfected behind their latest forever home walls.

Well the people are protesting in the streets more and more, they are being booed and sticky questions are being flung at them by the people and now more of us are saying “Not in my name”.

There is still a long way to the throne for the Wails and I truly believe in Karma. One of the few Church Duties they deign to attend just doesn’t cut it anymore. The truth will out and the Wails will be on their knees asking “why is this happening to us?”

Nothing is the answer, they did nothing and history teaches us harsh lessons when we least expect it. Not the pretentious photo opportunity like this Easter.

  30. HuffnPuff says:

Did anyone catch that the hat scrunched up Kate’s right eye? It’s not clear in these photos but in other photos it makes her right eye look wonky.

  31. kelleybelle says:

I doubt William is even aware of Kate’s presence on this walk.

  32. BeanieBean says:

I’m interested in the logistics of this Easter walk. So, they’re at Windsor Castle. They all drive there individually from wherever they live. Do they gather in an outbuilding? Do they all pull up to a parking area then get on a bus to be dropped off at the top of the street? They all walk downhill in a group, so there must be some sort of gathering somewhere. I want to see photos of that! I want to see how long they had to wait for the Wales’s to arrive.

Also, how pitiful it is that they have to walk to church in order of succession. I mean, c’mon, it’s church. You can’t drop this stupid priority stuff?

    • Kit says:

It’s like going to the Zoo watching this lot , l don’t know l.just find these formal Winsdor Church walks in their formal.suits and hats performative and hypocritical , we all know most of them.arent even religious…

  33. Henny Penny says:

Kate’s now had two major religious outings in a row wearing a cross. I’m counting down the days until we get breathless articles about how much her faith means to her.

    • irisrose says:

Her religious cosplay diamond cross has been around for years, long before she was confirmed. To her it is cosplay and a fashion piece.

  34. YankeeDoodles says:

This is to @Irisrose, I take your point about Anne’s dogs. I don’t personally let my dog off lead at all unless we’re at an enclosure in a local park and the only creatures he can run into are other dogs, whose owners are there also. Those are actually the best times. The people are the easiest to talk to, the tension with the animals is miraculously gone, the dogs are fine amongst themselves. Outside the enclosure, he’s on a lead, all the time.

But I find this part interesting — “Autumn’s ‘boyfriend’ is still married to his wife of 20+ years. Guess that’s how some Catholics decide to live out their lives. Don’t get divorced, the Church won’t let you, and he’d have to pay out all that money in alimony. Just get a public sidepiece and pretend everything is respectable.”

…it’s a little more complicated than that. A lot of people don’t divorce not owing to some church ban (there is a church ban, but that’s not the reason) but because at some point if you have a couple of decades together, children, assets, retirement accounts, shared history with family / friends, etc… it’s just not worth it. And for real, if you’re fond of the other person, you’re grown up about it, you respect each other, you don’t need to get lawyers involved. Plenty of people move on without a decree nisi.

    • irisrose says:

I’m welcome to call that hypocrisy, particularly when it is tied up in organized religion.

Autumn’s making the choice to be in a relationship with a married man, one whom it seems will never marry her. Plenty of people went after Milk Prince for being in a relationship with a married woman.

It is an interesting choice to defend any one in Anne’s line or connected to her like Autumn.

      • YankeeDoodles says:

This is to @Irisrose, I have a few preliminary thoughts — one, you’re entitled to your opinion. But Autumn stopped being a member of the royal family when she and Peter divorced. People went after him — if you say so, I don’t remember — for seeing someone who was married, but, he’s the royal. Not his ex-wife. So… as for her personal life, I have no opinion. She doesn’t owe me anything. The idea is a bit bizarre. She’s welcome to her happiness! If she finds it with her partner, good for her. His arrangements with his own family, are his, he’s another private citizen. They both are. Leave them to their own lives, would be my view.

If Anne is so dreadful, why is she consistently acknowledged as reliable, decent, sound, sensible, grounded, and essentially humane? This is kind of the lesson for me, in observing the royals ….it’s a longitudinal study. Americans don’t really get these, so I revel in it, slightly. And the morale seems to be, no one can fake it forever. The mask slips. The sheer drudgery and tedium of showing up, day after day, year after year, takes a toll, if you don’t believe it serves a purpose. If you don’t have something of yourself to give. You can’t go through your whole life on autopilot. You have to decide why you’re here. It takes stamina to get through life, under any conditions, but when you’re observed, constantly, the scrutiny acts like a developing solution for an old-style photograph. The truth will out. That’s why Kate and William look so worn out. They’ve just been faking it for too long. In my opinion. They don’t owe us anything — as far as I’m concerned — but they have *asked* for our great faith in their image, and I for one am not buying it. It’s the matrimonial equivalent of a dead parrot.

  35. Chrawi says:

George is so tall! I’m guessing he will be taller than his Dad….wonder how Wills would feel about that?

  36. Anare says:

That little Louis is a doll. He has the charisma! Every time we see photos of the Wales’ kids my eye always goes to Louis. He’s the one to watch.
