True Blood hottie Alex Skarsgard works the hell out of a white T-Shirt as one of the cover boys of the upcoming issue of Details Magazine. Two alternate covers include Ryan Kwanten and Stephen Moyer. What about Sam Trammel, Nelsan Ellis and Mehcad Brooks? Unfortunately Details has only released the cover with Alex, and we’ll have to wait and see what Ryan and Stephen look like. (Socialite Life had advance copies, but has since removed them.)
The beefcake men of True Blood aren’t coming back to grace our television sets until June! It’s a big tease, but I think I can handle it. All I have to do is picture Skarsgard with Kate Bosworth and my frustration level goes down.
Details hasn’t released excerpts online and they told us they’ll have the other covers and article available at noon EST, at which point we’ll update this post or run another one. We’ll have to make due with this pictorial for the time being, and it’s plenty. There’s also more on Details.com.

To those who don’t get the attraction to him: I think it’s enhanced by his character on the show. He’s the bad ass 1000 yr. old viking who wears tight shirts, and is dangerous. He’s the bad boy but shows moments of goodness. I think all women are looking for that haha. Plus he’s gorgeous, imo but I watch the show religiously and he’s one of my favorite characters.
I really like him! Fresh and different!
What is going on with his hairline in the top picture??? I like his character on the show, but I don’t find him attractive. He seems like a mouth breather.

Sam Trammell: insipid looks, insipid character
Nelsan Ellis: gay character (and we all know that gays can’t be sex symbols :/)
Mechad Brooks: cute, but dreadful actor. Besides he was a marginal character that they killed off, anyway
Gawd, he’s just so nice to look at! If you haven’t watched the show since day 1, you won’t get it, so don’t even try. I so miss my True Blood. I’m just coping by watching the previous seasons OnDemand. I guess I’ll make it until June…sigh!

Sam Tremmel and Nelsan Ellis should have been included. Sam is kinda cute, and Nelsan’s Lafayette is my favorite character on the show!
Brooks was nice to look at but pretty dull as an actor.
AS’s eyes really are a very pretty color, but I do think there was a bit of photoshop there.
I rarely find him as attractive in photos as he is on TB, but these photos are some of the best I’ve seen of him. Hotness!

Meh. I was into it, especially Alex, but now that I know what kind of chicks he’s into, I’m over it (and him) it’s just disappointing.
His persona doesn’t even come out in these pictures, they’re kinda bad. He’s got the sweetest persona really! That’s were the sex appeal eludes from. So if you don’t like this you need to watch him irl or when he’s acting, this is baaad pictures and his inner fire which is why I found him hot in the first place,
gets blocked out by the garish method Details is using to bring ut the “blue steel” gaze. He’s a lovely, warm, playful person really! Love him and his acting and sex appeal.
I dont get the appeal either. Am I the only one who thinks he’s slightly crosseyed and looks erm… not too bright? When I look at him the word that comes into my head is ‘Duuuh’, followed by ‘gallinaceous’. Not sexy.

“Huge” and interesting are not mutually inclusive. I like Sam, but he gives off a simplistic provinciality that is endearing but boring as f*ck. He’s like that small town hero who marries his adolescent sweetheart and does nothing remarkable for the rest of his life. The fact that he can turn into a dog ups the interest factor, but IMO he’s still Billy Bob.
