Anne Hathaway looked fantastic in a Michael Kors leopard-print coat in NYC

Here are some photos of Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway on Tuesday evening, attending a special screening of The Devil Wears Prada 2. Reviews and first-reactions have started coming out, and everyone says that this sequel is wonderful and a real masterclass of how to make a sequel to a cult-classic (or just a classic). Deadline’s box office prognosticators say that Devil/Prada will open with a $180 million worldwide box office. God, I hope it doesn’t disappoint!

As for these photos, this outfit on Anne is probably my favorite thing she’s worn during the entire promotion. It’s so bougie, I know, but I love a good-quality animal-print. The coat seems to be a Michael Kors piece which she wore last month as well. I love it with red in these photos, but I can’t find the ID on her dress. Her purse is likely Aspinal of London’s midi Mayfair bag. (Note by CB: Boden has a collar halter neck dress with similar features to Anne’s. Target has an affordable animal print trench coat. There’s another one by Lulus that’s gorgeous but there’s only one left in small at Poshmark and one in extra small on Lulus’ site. Etsy has a similar bag to Anne’s at a more affordable price.) Meanwhile, Emily Blunt’s look is Ferragamo and Michael Kors.

Incidentally, there’s been a lowkey controversy in recent weeks with Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep. They’re not beefing! Meryl tried to give Anne credit for taking care of something during filming – Meryl and Anne apparently thought that the models within the film were much too skinny, and Meryl said that Anne was the one who spoke to the production and got the too-skinny models out of there. Anne had to come out and say that no skinny models were “fired” per se, but more inclusive-sized models were hired.

I almost did not recognize Emily Blunt’s face!

She puts filler in her cheeks, and it changes her bone structure. I don’t know why she keeps doing it.

I think this is my favorite look, of all of them, this is the one I would buy. Classy Anne.

    I absolutely LOVE this outfit.

And this has reminded me that I need to crack on and watch the first one as we have tickets to see 2 on Saturday for my friends birthday. Good to hear positive noises about it.

But its really expensive, right? And the accessories. So expensive, and thoughtless at such a tough time for regular people. I totally get the ditching about one white woman. They should all 💯 be thrown under bus for these clothes. And I need a tally too.

None of the reds go together. The outfit is better with the coat closed. Emily’s outfit looks cheap.

Anne’s office is just so FUN I love it.

The women look great! My issue is i didn’t rate the first film. Other than the fashion, i didn’t think the film was anything special, not something deserving a sequel. I think we just have SATC NYC fashion withdrawls.

Still kicking myself for not buying the leopard print coat that I tried on in an antique shop 10+ years ago. Knee length, single breasted, fit me perfectly. Sigh. Anne’s whole outfit is fab.
