Kate Gosselin booed for skipping the lines at Disneyland

Kate Gosselin Book Signing
Kate Gosselin and her brood were at Disneyland in Anaheim, California on Saturday and were loudly booed by people waiting in long lines to get on rides. Kate and the eight were skipped to the front of every line, and I would have booed at Kate if I was waiting in the hot sun for hours, too. I would have taken the VIP treatment also (although I would have hung my head and tried to hide), so it would have been hypocritical of me to boo. No matter, Kate deserves a little booing for her everyday conduct and not just for her dancing. At least she really did this for her kids this time and not just for her personal fulfillment, although surely there were five year old kids waiting in line with everyone else.

This story is in Radar Online, and as many of you have pointed out Radar is usually very flattering to Kate as they have some kind of relationship with her for exclusives. With that in mind, I bet like one person cheered for Kate and the rest booed:

There’s got to be some advantages to being one of the hardest working single moms in Hollywood!

Kate Gosselin and her adorable brood received one of them at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, on Saturday, receiving the full VIP treatment and RadarOnline.com can bring you the exclusive shots.

Not everyone was pleased though when Kate, her bodyguard and 8 kids were whisked to the front of the line at all of the rides. An eyewitness tells RadarOnline.com that some of the people waiting in line were very vocal about their disapproval.

“Kate and her entourage were being escorted by Disney personnel,” the eyewitness says. “They were taking them right to the front of the lines, and as it was a Saturday it was really busy and the lines were long. Some people had been waiting hours in the lines and weren’t happy to see Kate taken straight to the front.

“A lot of people were saying, ‘who does she think she is?’ and were booing her. But she obviously had some fans in line as some people were shouting out ‘we love you Kate!’

“She looked pretty stressed and tired, but she’s definitely a hands on mom, she was holding hands with the children and was interacting and cuddling all of them – it’s obvious she really loves those kids.

“She left early as the park was getting really crowded and fans kept approaching her and bothering her. I think she was sick of the attention and had hoped she would just be able to spend the day hanging out with her kids.”

[From Radar Online]

Doesn’t this sound just like Kate? She “had hoped she would just be able to spend the day hanging out with her kids,” and was “sick of the attention”? When is this woman sick of attention?

Kate was on Ryan Seacrest’s show on Monday and kept up her “I’m just a working mom by necessity” act. She said that shewould trade places with her babysitter in order to be with her kids “in a micro-millisecond” and that “You have to be at work because you have to provide for your kids, but really my heart is at home with them.” I have one five year old son and I love him more than anything and I love hanging out with him. I like it when he goes to school and I have time to sit down, be alone and work though. There are moms who would rather be with their kids and that’s understandable, but given Kate’s actions I don’t think she’s one of them. She just seems so disingenuous to me.

Meanwhile Kate did a Foxtrot on Dancing with The Stars last night and she walked around and looked like a fool as usual. Her outfit, a pink and purple dress with bizarre geometric shiny panels across the front, was just as bad as we’ve come to expect too. You know that she won’t get voted off for a while, though, and we’ll be subjected to another strutting scowling performance next week. Here’s the video of Kate’s performance.

Boo all ya want…isn’t skipping lines just a perk of being a celebrity? I think the booing should be saved for when she’s on the dance floor and not when she’s with her young innocent children. Tacky.

  2. Valerie says:

She’s staying at the same hotel as POTUS tonight.

Please, Secret Service Guys, PLEASE give her and her “security detail” an elbow to the eye. Make them use the front entrance and the lock down the hotel so they can’t mingle.

  3. Abby says:

I hate how when asked why she lacked energy in her performance on DWTS she said “well, i had eight little bundles of joy come to visit me this week, and they got to have my energy.” Way to blame the kids that made you famous. classy.

  4. Lisa says:

At a place like Disney land there should be no VIP treatment. That’s just my opinion because I know if it were me standing in a long line waiting for hours and I see any celebrity cutting line I’d be pissed! No one else but me would have to listen and explain to my kids why they got to cut line and we didn’t! It is not fair to the other children at all and celeb kids probably need a little dose of the saying lifes a b**** get over it!!!! Stop handing them their life on a silver spoon Disney land and be fair to the others

  5. lilred says:

I saw her on DWTS last night she didn’t glide so much as stomp her way around the stage looking confused.

  6. Justalark says:

I tend to always root for the underdog, so I WANT to support Kate Gosselin on DWTS, but it’s hard. She truly has a miserable personality: no spark, no joie de vivre, no inner light, no warmth! When she smiles, she’s pretty, but the smile does not reach her eyes. Poor Tony…It’s like he’s partnered with a block of wood when they’re on the dance floor! She has absolutely no enthusiasm or spunk and she seems unhappy to be competing, even though she claims she wants to stay in the competition. Regarding Kate’s countless references to being tired because she’s a mother, it’s difficult to feel sympathy for her when many of the show’s other contestants and pros are also parents. Those constant attempts to get sympathy from the audience really turn me off, and the end result is that I like her even less. Now I see why she is such a polarizing character–some want to saint her because, thanks to modern science, she’s the mother of eight children, but others can’t stand her because she is constantly exploiting her status as a mother for her own gain. I think it’s time for DWTS fans to unite and to FREE TONY!

  7. Jazz says:

I’m so tired of her struggling single mother bullshit. This woman is not the patron saint for single mothers. Go out into the real world to see what struggling is.

  8. Alex says:

I watched DWTS last night and she was HORRIBLE. I could not stop lmao and I hate when she uses her kids for everything, her kids want her on the show so she is hoping that the public will keep her, no Kate, your kids want you to be home. I bet she will be save again tonight. That show is rigged

  9. SarahS says:

Ugh, she irritates the hell out of me. Stop throwing the “Woe is me, I’m a single mom, its so tough” out there for sympathy, bitch. You make all us regular ole peon single mothers want to shank you.

  10. Maritza says:

It’s obvious the woman isn’t even trying to learn her dance routines, you can see her disgusted look on face every time Tony says something to her. She needs to go back home to her kids. People need to stop voting for her, they should vote for the couples that are really trying hard to learn, Kate doesn’t care because she is counting on her fans votes.

  11. missy says:

one of the hardest working single moms in Hollywood!

I am soo sick of this title for Kate. How hard is it when you have nannies taking care of your kids and have a ton of other servants taking care of everything else.

  12. JulieNewmar says:

Tony deserves a raise / bonus for what he’s had to put up with ..

  13. Tess says:

VIP treatment should be limited to kids with serious illnesses and their parents.

Absolutely nobody else should be given special treatment.

Very bad idea to divide our society into elites and then the rest of us.

  14. S.V. says:

I can’t stand Kate. I hate Kate, but who I hate more are the people that made her and her army of children famous. Ugh!! I hate reality t.v.!

  15. Judy says:

Whoopi called her a Bitch on The View this morning–yay Whoopi for having the courage to tell it like it is. It’s obvious that Alexandra Wentworth can’t stand her, either. Even a security guard at her book signing on Friday night (where only about 30 people showed up) called her a Bitch.

  16. Cheyenne says:

Where the hell does she get off? She can park her ass on line and wait like everybody else.

  17. Lilias says:

She’s a moron and all but I understand why celebrities get to cut lines as I was in that situation as a child-I wasn’t a celebrity but I was best friends with a girl who’s father was on a couple of tv shows. We got the special passes (no escorts though) and we had to pay for them-they don’t hand them out for free. He was hounded as we tried to eat breakfast and whenever we stopped to let the parents rest. I can’t imagine what standing in line would have been like. People have no shame.

While Kate is not really a celebrity, i can see why she’d choose to use that privilege. She’s got a lot of children and I expect there would be some people who would harass her.

  18. Lizzard says:

People skip lines all the time at disney. Ride’s that have stairs in their lines allow handicapped/disabled people to skip ( i know it’s not the same thing). Also I’m pretty sure they have tours and guided things that allow people to get the “VIP treatment” by skipping- they pay a fee on top of a ticket and are on some type of tour. Besides- they have fast-pass which allows you to sort of skip the lines and not wait as long in them which is nice. I don’t want to defent Kate because I pretty much can’t stand to look at her- but if a disney cast member was walking them around helping them skip lines disney is just as much to blame for the line skipping as kate herself and if the people in line want to be mad be mad at disney…

  19. TG says:

So Khate is teaching her kids about entitlement. Way to go. If she wants to be with her kids so bad, why didn’t she just keep it at the twins then she could work as a nurse and not be away all the time with book signings and DWTS (I have never watched that show, nor will I ever watch it. I don’t watch anything that isn’t on cable or above). There are many types of nursing jobs, not all require you to be away for 12 hours straight.

  20. Rachel says:

@ Julie Newmar, I agree. He needs hazard pay. I feel bad for him every week, but last night it was worse. When they showed the clip of their practices, and she’s rolling her eyes every time he tries to explain something to her, I wanted to reach through the TV and smack her silly! Tony seems like such a nice guy. I mean, he’s had really bad partners in the past, but he’s always been very supportive of them. You can tell he just wants to kick Kate to the curb because she won’t even TRY!

  21. MSat says:

Maybe if you don’t want the attention you might consider NOT skipping ahead in line to call attention to yourself. Just a thought.

  22. Sumodo1 says:

I caught Kate counting steps last night. Next time, they should use those black shoe prints on the floor, with diagrams, so she can have an easier go of it.

Sheesh, the “Vote for the Worst” folks must have had a hard time last night, because Kate wasn’t gr8.

  23. JC126 says:

I think she protests too much about how much she loves and is devoted to her kids. Most people love their kids beyond measure, but yet don’t feel the need to broadcast the fact CONSTANTLY. Contrast her words with how she treated the kids on the show.
    Hate her.

  24. GatsbyGal says:

If she wanted to skip lines, she should’ve bought that special pass thing that amusement parks do that help you avoid the super long lines. But no, she just skipped ahead of everyone because she’s “famous.” I hope she felt like a bitch, because that’s a really bitchy thing to do.

  25. Babalon says:

Are we certain that this wasn’t a birthday trip? Disney has a no-waiting policy for birthday visitors.

  26. Gaby says:

This woman is an idiot looking for attention. Anyone who is even a little bit famous knows not to go to Disney on a freakin Saturday when it is the most packed. That’s why people like her usually try to go during the week days or the slower seasons like September or something when most children are in school. I remember when we went to Disneyworld for a choir trip and saw Stev-o from Jackass with his girlfriend even that guy was smart enough to do during the week when the parks weren’t as packed.

  27. Wow says:

I can’t stand this lady on a regular, but the fashion girl in me is loving her transformation. It’s working. Now again, if only there were such a thing as a personality transplant she’d be golden.

  28. jeannified says:

She’s just not into dancing. It wasn’t horrible, but just not ver energetic. I believe that her mind is elsewhere and she probably just took this gig for the exposure and money. I DO believe that she is doing everything she can in order to bring in money. John is doing nothing!

So she went to the front of the line. Whatever.

  29. girl says:

She should have taken one for the team and twisted an ankle on DWTS so that she could take the handicapped route at DLand. I did this once (NOT on purpose) you wait up front while someone else waits in line for you and you all go on the ride together.

Not many people have to see her because she is up front, she is off DWTS, and she spends time with her kids. Everyone’s happy.

  30. Chris says:

Irishserra – yes, it is a perk of being a celebrity. But KG is no celebrity. She and Jon sold out their children for TV. They are on a reality show. Its not like she has talent.
Just look at her on DWTS. Everyone else is gracious, smiles and has a stage presence. She might as well be a potted plant.

  31. Feebee says:

She looked stressed and tired because it’s EXHAUSTING faking the loving hands-on mom schtick for hours on end out in public. Yes she wanted a day hanging out with her kids so she went to fricking Disneyland on a Saturday, fuuuuck me!

For a nanosecond I felt a little sorry for her after Bruno ripped her a new one. His frock and coat-hanger comment was harsh enough (but oh so fair) but he went on a bit. And then he gave her a 5! Less words Bruno, find your ‘3’ paddle.

Missed the announcement of the dance, couldn’t fathom what dance she was doing – apparently she stomped through a foxtrot. Judging from the tent she had on again last night, the DWTS dressmakers still hate her.

  32. amanda says:

I would boo the hell out of her if I saw her skipping the line at Disney. My husband is disabled and it is incredibly painful for him to stand or walk for long periods of time. Standing in those lines just about kills him, and takes part of the joy out of doing something like going to Disney. But, he is too proud to cut the line- he says he just wouldn’t feel right. Also, he doesn’t want to be singled out because of his disability. So, if I were in a line with my poor husband, and she walked right past and got on the ride- you can bet I would be right in there booing her along with everyone else.

  33. Novaraen says:

    She’s NOT a celebrity…just a side show freak.

  34. Corina says:

Ok before I continue I have to start by saying that I really, really, REALLY do not like Kate Gosselin. Like at all.

    But.

I have gone to Disneyland with kids many a time, and they do have a policy for parents with more kids than they can take on the ride, or parents with little kids too small for the ride. One person waits with the kid(s) and the other parent gets to skip ahead to the front. We did this when we would take my sisters and it was actually really helpful – my dad would take my 10 yr old sister on the ride, I would wait with my 4 year old sister who was too small, and then we could meet up relatively soon right after.

So maybe in this one case Kate was not being a douche. But I still think she’s a douche supreme in general!

  35. Lola says:

Honestly, anyone can skip the lines for an added fee. They have special passes you can buy when you get your tickets.

  36. Paul E. Stanley says:

If I was a real celebrity, you know the kind of person that had Real Talent. I would be pissed to be lumped in with her. Someone with no talent for anything.

  37. jennab says:

if i could make a fool of myself dancing in public and getting $100k each episode, i would trade places with her in a millisecond too, and i’d have a smile from ear to ear. and yeah i’m a single mom too, but now i have to worry if i can make enough money for rent and food this month, never mind that i still have a car to fix and register, or that i dont have money to wash our clothes or for gas. so yeah kate STFU! a lot of single moms would love to be in her shoes.

  38. Taya says:

Face it. Kate is a famewhore and she is bringing her children down with her. I am just waiting for the 8 tell-all books in 15 years.

No one should be able to skip a line; famous or not and if they do it is only under certian circumstances. The only time a person should skip the line is if they are disabled or terminally ill. My nephew was able to skip all the lines at Disney World because because he was a child of the Make a Wish Foundation and in a wheelchair.

  39. DoMaJoReMc says:

All you posters that mention the ‘added fee’ or ‘special pass’ or whatever….

Do you REALLY think KHATE paid for all those kids, herself, and her lover (bodyguard) to experience Dineyland??? REALLY? Guaranteed she was comped either by D-land or it was all paid for by TLC.

And by the way, she SUCKED ASS again last night. If she is not eliminated tonight, we will all know that ABC is rigging the votes for the supposed “KHATE EFFECT”. Even Tony’s to the point of telling it like it is at the practices on tape. I just can’t imagine how his poor wife and HIS kids feel about all of this?!?!

@ jennab……AMEN, GIRLFRIEND! (PS, good luck and I hope things work out for you. God Bless!)

  40. nj says:

Disneyland is about MONEY. There is no more magic, no imagination, no innocence- it is all about DollArs. Disney has not stood for anything but money in a long time. You could not PAY me to go there.
For the most part its a rich persons’ vacation with their overindulged, spoiled brats. A middle-class family would have to save for a very long time or have a financial windfall to go there.( My apologies to anyone who likes it and does not have spoiled brats,)

It does not surprise me that they offer this option or that Kate would utilize it.

  41. julie says:

While I do understand the hate for kate, and I agree that her “performance” on DWTS is laughable, I am team Kate all the way. I am a single mother of 3, unemployed, ex that doesnt pay his support every month. If someone would offer me the chance to totally humiliate myself on tv for some big bucks, I would take it in a minute. Yes she is a famewhore, and I think she does exploit her kids, but the state of Pennsylvania is NOT supporting her or her kids (unlike another “famous” mom in california) She should ride her 15 minutes for all its worth. If she was on welfare and food stamps, people would be hating her for different reasons. Seems most women cant win – whatever we do is the wrong decision according to someone. In a society that makes homewrecking skanks famous, at least this is a woman that is supporting her kids in the best way she knows how.

  42. Leek says:

We’d be crazy not to watch Frankenkate on DWTS. My guess is she moves that way to keep her penis tucked in nice and tight.

  43. Lizzard says:

@ DoMaJoReMc- She probably didn’t pay for Disney at all since ABC employees get free passes and since she is currently starring on an ABC show- she probably got in free for her and most if not all of her kids- with that being said- she might have had to pay an extra fee for that service of being able to skip lines- but even if not- if she’s being escorted by disney cast members- it’s obvious they had something worked out for her to skip lines. You can sort of blame her for going on a Saturday- but her dancing schedule might not allow for free time during the week very much or maybe her kids were in only there for a short time and this was their only chance of going to Disneyland.

  44. jason says:

    Julie
Its time to stop perpetuating that lie about lack of child support. It’s come out that Jon pays $21,000 a month.

  45. TaylorB says:

Just my opinion, but to me when she ‘dances’ it kinda looks like she is stomping on spiders.

  46. Hautie says:

    My random thought.

If she wanted to take the kids to Disney why not choose to go during the week? Schools are still in session so the crowds would have been much smaller.

She went on a Saturday on purpose, just so she could moan about how put upon she is raising her children. Alone. The sole bread winner.

  47. Skipper says:

PUH-LEEZ. She’s been a “single working mother just trying to support her kids” for, like, 3 minutes.

She is a whiny c*nt and a terrible mother – she doesn’t give a crap about her kids. If she did, she wouldn’t keep subjecting them to her never-ending famewhoring. She disgusts me to no end. I can’t even watch DWTS anymore b/c I can’t stand looking at her stupid bitch face.

  48. lali says:

Shes’ not a real celebrity and she’s definitely not ‘struggling’!
Shes’ making tons of money and has a big support team of servants and nannies-the folks who do the actual work of cooking, cleaning and taking of the daily needs of the kids.
Kate is a fake mother-an acting ‘tv mom’ in every way.

  49. martha says:

Such a RELIEF to know there are those who share my sentiments regarding this opportunistic, non talented person. She will stop at nothing to garner sympathy and to draw attention to herself. She manipulates any situation to suit her agenda..and she does have an agenda. Did anyone notice all the adults in tow to help her have her “time” with the kids at Disneyland? I am one of 8 kids…we had no help whatsoever…the older ones helped the younger ones…
It is actually stunning to witness her absurdity…I’m hard pressed to think of anyone more self-centered than her.

  50. Cindy says:

I don’t know why your singling kate out for skipping lines at Disneyland when celebrities with kids and wealthy people do it all the time. She could afford to pay or it was a perk offered by ABC, so why not, I would too.

  51. GatsbyGal says:

Disney probably paid her to visit with her kids.

  52. jnet says:

disney has a “fastpass” option that allows people to be electronicly put into line without having to stand there..it is possible she was using it. Its about like buying a park hopper pass.

  53. Sugar & Spice says:

“one of the hardest working single moms in Hollywood” – Excuse me???? She’s never even with her kids. And she has so much money already, more than most hardworking single moms ever will, that she never needs to work another day. Please. The only check she needs is a reality check. She is so not in need of any sympathy.

  54. Cinderella says:

She probably did have a Fastpass, but she sure as hell didn’t pay for it.

I agree with whoever said her “exhaustion” comes from having to put up a fake front as a loving mother.

She doesn’t want to be around eight demanding kids. She’d rather be in a limo with her bodyguard headed for the Ivy.

  55. lucy2 says:

I’d be willing to bet good money that she insisted on being given the VIP treatment. I’m sure Disney would have offered, but I could totally picture her insisting on it right away.

Once again I say it’s not her trying to be in showbiz that bothers me as much her using her kids as the excuse, as if she is being forced at gunpoint to be on TV. I (unfortunately) saw a clip of her the other day where she said again that she HAS to work like this, if she didn’t, we’d never see her again. Hmm, somehow don’t believe her.

  56. Ray says:

Kate is the biggest fake ever. I don’t know what is worse her dancing or mothering!

  57. Ursaline says:

Ok, please don’t boo me, BUT:

There is no way that I’d try to take that many kids to a huge theme park like Disneyland without an army of assistants, to help keep from losing any of them. And if it was possible to skip lines, I’d totally do that too, even if I had to pay extra. The older kids can’t even help watch the younger ones, because they are all multiples, not singletons, so there isn’t enough space between the ages. But it probably was a great opportunity to do something nice for the kids, even if she has been acting like a giant famewhore.

That said, she is unpleasant and obviously unhappy, most likely dreaming every night of being at some tropical resort with the cabana boy while someone like their father takes care of the kids. I only have two and have refused even considering to take my kids to the multiple parks near us until maybe this summer when they will be five and seven. I wouldn’t know what to do with eight of them, but wasn’t that the whole premise behind the “Jon and Kate Plus 8” thing?

  58. Nate reynolds says:

yeah for those that think she paid for some pass keep in mind ABC kissed her ass to get her on the show and well well well look who owns ABC. As for my feelings on her… Get to the back of the line you money grubbing skank. She loves her kids? hmm funny how she had to be forced into court to put aside 15 percent of the show proceeds for her kids.

  59. Kim says:

Seriously who is this woman and when did we begin making any woman who pops out 6 or more kids a reality show celeb????? You would think with all these kids they would have their hands full and wouldnt have time for tv but priorities, priorities i guess. I think we need to start calling these women out to raise their children not work on their wanna be celeb careers. Pathetic!

  60. Lisa says:

Yeah I can totally understand skipping lines if you are disabled or deathly ill but this bitch is clearly not one of those cases she thinks oh I’m a single mom and I’m on dwts and I write books and had five seasons of a reality show and I’m famous because I like the octo mom had all these kids that i knew I couldn’t afford and everyone loves me and wants to be me so I’m going to skip the lines at disney land!!!!!! Blah blah blah!!!! I used to like Kate but I’m beginning to dislike her in many ways!!!!! Not even REAL celebrities act like her and honestly they have a reason too because they actually take pride and effort into what they do and enjoy it!!!! They ain’t just doing it be cause they desided to have kids and wanna make money!!!!!!! And honestly if people are going to vote for her and keep her un apprietitive ass on the show she needs to start acting grateful and show alittle bit more interest and excitement for still being there!!!! There were people who have already been voted off dwts who really wanted to be there and really wanted to make it but no they keep her and her dredful self

  61. Anastasia says:

While we’re at it, let’s bust the myth that she has to work at ALL. She earns enough interest income off the money from J&K and the three books and the advances from the three books and ALL the appearances she has made thus far AND the $200,000 from DWTS to live off it for the rest of her life!

She could support her kids nicely, NOT HAVE TO WORK AT ANY JOB, support herself, put her kids through school, you name it. Stay in that house? Yep. Notice I didn’t even mention the $22,000 in child support a month.

So all this working for her kids stuff is a bunch of bullcrap. She loves the attention, loves having her ego stroked. Everything is about her. She doesn’t talk about being proud of her kids, she wants them to be proud of HER. She says THEY live, eat, and breathe the show and her appearance on it (doubt it). Everything everything everything is about HER.

  62. Judy says:

Anastasia, love you because you are smart and have the facts. Please go to E!Online and post your comments. Every other story over there is about this witch. There is some serious payola going on.

  63. Sunnyjyl says:

I have been to Disneyland many times. Anyone can get a fast pass, and skip the lines. Also, celebrities cause a lot of traffic problems at Disneyland, with people gawking like there’s a traffic accident. Skipping celebrities to the front is a crowd control solution.

  64. Jag says:

The only reasons she keeps saying all this crap about her kids are for public sympathy, and so that when her kids, as teenagers and older, tell her that she never loved them, she can pull out the dvds and “prove” it to them. Many, many kids in large families do well with an average home, and with a single mother who works an average job. Kate wanting to move to Hollywood is about her, not the kids.

Yes, I would skip the line at Disney like she did. But I wouldn’t tell people every five minutes how much I love my kids, then turn around and not see them when I’m home, leave them with nannies all the time, and then be emotionally distant and even emotionally abusive, imo, to them when I do see them.

I will never forget when one of her children asked for water because she was thirsty, and Kate asked someone to hand her some. They did. Kate looked right at the child, opened the bottle, took a swig, did a smirk and put the bottle far away from the child, as the child watched and then started to cry. There’s no telling how she treats those kids when the cameras aren’t rolling, which is concerning because Kate is horrible when they’re recording.

  65. Feebee says:

Ding dong the witch is dead… well off DWTS anyway.

  66. Rosalee says:

Single mom? we need to establish what that defines, to many a single mom is someone without a partner to raise the children. No father in the picture emotionally, financailly, or physically. Frankly I’m sick of hearing how she is a single mom when the father of her children obviously plays a role in their lives. I know single mothers and they struggle to solely support and raise their children after the father disappeared during or shortly after the pregnancy was announced. Kate is not a struggling single mom..

  67. Scout says:

@Anastasia – I agree with Judy, you are right on target! Well said!

Really does Kate’s life and the way she lives it affect our lives?

It amazes me that we the public put these celebrities and reality show people on a pedastal, but as soon as they do something wrong, we are the first ones to blast them down from that pedastal.

  69. Jill says:

Kate wanted to make it to the end for the $450K bonus. Like in her life she wants to do nothing and use people to gain hugh amounts of money. She did this to her own children. No Disney should not allow anyone to go to the front of the line unless they are maybe handicapped or have an illness etc. The only way to prevent this is to boycot Disney and do not watch Kate Gosselin on anything. We all love our kids but kate has it in her mind her kids are better than everyone elses. She says the deserve it, well boo hoo, get over yourself and your load of Gosselin children you have used for a paycheck most of their lives. Guess she thinks they deserve it because the Gosselin children have made so much money for mommie dearest Kate Gosselin to spend how ever she wanted to spend. It has given Kate the money to buy the freedom to live a life away from the kids and that is what she so seems to want-period. But on camera she makes the fake tears roll and wants to continue on with her lies. If Kate’s mouth is moving on film and she is crying she is faking for the camera to get America to pay her way so she can be gone from the 8 she had and now have used and neglected IMO. No wonder her own family has nothing to do with her. Kate had no problem with many helping while she pimped herself out like Jodi and Kevin. The minute TLC seemed to want to contract them and give them an income Kate cut them off. Yes, she is a taker not a giver. She wants it all for herself. Like she said before the show ended and she knew her and Jon was over, at the new house, mine all mine. But she said it was the childrens house. Right, like anyone believes that. Just yet another lie from the mouth of the monster mom of all time Kate Gosselin. Gosselin children will suffer more for all Kates evil doing. Sad but true. Kate does not even love them enough to keep the family together, she wanted fame and fortune not family-period. Yes Kate-you are not a good mom. All in my opinion only-

  70. My Red Pony says:

No one has mentioned that Radar Online and God knows how many other paps knew that she was at Disneyland in the first place. Kate claims to hate the paps, yet everyone knew she was spending the day in Anaheim with her brood?

As far as I’m concerned, this was another photo op, set up by Kate or her TLC handlers, to show all the Khaters that she really did spend the weekend with her “eight little friends” in an effort to steer away from all the negative publicity. Just like the photo op of the Easter Hunt in the front yard of her mansion, in plain view of all the paps. Puleez. Others on this thread have said that other celebrities take their kids to Disneyland and get harassed by fans. But did they show up with a camera crew?

My other question is, who goes to Disneyland, whether you’re getting the VIP treatment or not, in high heels, especially with 8 children in tow? I smell something. Something fishy.

  71. deserter says:

In my opinion, everyone that was cut in front of should sue Disneyland. This is clearly discrimination. Discrimination of the lower, non-celebrity class vs. the celebrity. This is what is one of the big problems in America today…”Celeb treatment”. Many people, including law enforcement, act as if celebs are gods that deserve to be worshiped. Unless Kate paid more money than everyone else for the VIP cutting lines treatment, Disneyland should be sued for all their worth. Shame on Disneyland. I will never go there again!

And I agree with an earlier post, line cutting should only be reserved for the handicapped/disabled. Protect and help those who cannot stand in long lines, do not promote the wealthy and celebs.

  72. jim creson says:

it is women like this that make men like me use the “C word” to describe her. Somebody boot her ass off the rest of media coverage and cover something more important like the loss of honey bees or something equally more stupid than she and the litter….

  73. AlaskaGirl says:

She could always downsize from her multi-million dollar home to a standard four bedroom home like most families do. She doesn’t NEED that giant house. And whoever mentioned her doing all she can to bring in an income for family…that’s BS. How about she goes out and gets a job like the rest of us do? She’s a nurse? Well, that’s one of the most-needed professions right now. She shouldn’t have a hard time at all finding a position. Then she could be the “hard-working, single mother, head of the household” she proclaims to be. If she didn’t have this unnessecary staff of 20 to raise her kids in her absence, she wouldn’t need the income she claims she needs to maintain her standard of living.

  74. Celebrity in a Can says:

OMG would somebody please blow Hollywood of the map already. Im so sick of these media made Celebrities. I remember a time when celebrities had actual talent. These days all you gotta do is make a sex tape(Kim Kardashian)or be a gay blogger(Perez Hilton) and The media will take it to the corn fed masses and tell them that you are the next big thing and Only stupid Americans will believe it. Unfortunately In this Country the Stupid outweigh those with common sense. I mean where did this lady come from anyway? so what she has 8 kids so does my Dog. Speaking of gay can anyone tell me when it became “fashionable” to be gay? how are we as a society condoning that B.S.?
Dont get me wrong I dont have anything against gay people but I do have a problem with gay supporters flaunting that B.S. all over the TV and in Movies like its OK. It’s not OK! Just think, if everyone turned Gay we would go extinct, I dont think homosexuality was a part of Gods Plan. So you wanna be gay? Fine but please stop forcing that shit on those of us who want no parts of it, your sending a pretty messed up message to Our children. The world is already confusing enough for the youth without you trying to make them think its ok to be gay.

  75. Laura says:

In addition to everything else about this family that is concerning, here’s my take: If you watched the show BEFORE they got all the money for doing it – back when the kids were smaller and they were all still “normal people trying to cope with 8 kids”, Mady and Cara were INSUFFERABLE. And as the show wore on, they got steadily worse. Kate definitely catered to this side of them. They were spoiled, mean, selfish little girls EVEN THEN. Cannot imagine what they’ve turned into now that they are older and got a whiff of mom’s “fame”. My guess is they are as awful as they come – nothing cute about that.

  76. Christine Schmidt says:

Kate is a self-centered witch and is teaching her children NOTHING. Poor Mady was a monster when the show was airing on TLC. That poor child needs some professional help. Bag the “Poor Single Mom” thing Kate – You have no idea how single Moms cope. You exploit your poor children all in the name of MONEY
