I think Jessica looks amazing. She reminds me of Jennifer Garner in that she can be lowkey and fabulous at the same time. Also, that she’s the only adult in her marriage.

  2. Kitten says:

I wish it was an actual suit and we could just get a break from all the sheer. Her hair looks good though and of course, Biel has always been a beautiful woman with great bone structure. I don’t think she’s done much–if anything–to her face so that’s always nice to see.

  3. Sasha says:

I agree. She looks absolutely beautiful. I’m sure she’s getting some low key work done here and there but I LOVE that you can see some faint lines on her face. She looks so lovely.

  4. JanetDR says:

I watched Dakota’s SNL monologue and couldn’t think of who she dated, so it fell flat for me too. 🤷

Jessica looks very pretty here. Not a fan of the outfit, I think she would have looked lovely in a St Laurent suit. But nice to see her taking some risks.

  5. B overland says:

Dakota Johnson is the beige of the beige despite her attempts at sexy and cool and edgy. It’s just not there.

“Matchbox the Movie”? JFC. For anyone who says consolidation of media, and the encumbered rise of film company monopolies will still give us the same amount of quality films and media content: Go F yourself. This is what ‘film’ companies make now. Imagine how boring, trite, and small output from the few remaining major film companies will be in a couple years, when we see the full effects of Skydance subsuming Paramount and Warner Bros-Discovery.

This isn’t anything new. In my childhood circa 1980s, our entire Saturday morning tv lineup was based on mainstream commercial toys. But the MCU has taken it to another level. Another origin story about a character my father grew up reading comes about in the 1960s? Wow. Compelling. At least I have BritBox.

Headlines featuring Jessica Biel and Jessica Simpson? I had to check my calendar. It’s not 2006, though? Jessica Biel is no kinda actress and don’t come at me with the Sinner because no. Jessica Simpson, though, was one of the biggest stars in a particular moment in time, so she’ll always have nostalgia on her side.

  8. jferber says:

Jessica Biel has had some very tasteful, very good work done. Is it worth being married to Timberlake? I guess she thinks so. But we don’t know the terms. Separate house? Unlimited cash? Who knows.

  9. jferber says:

I remember when Jessica Simpson was on TV with Nick Lachey. Her biggest moment on that show (which was extremely sexist so I remember it) was when she thought Chicken of the Sea tuna was really chicken. How adorable! So cute, yet so young! I absolutely hated it and still do. I wonder if she was fed the “dumb skit” by a writer on the show. It’s almost as good as admitting you’ve never read a book in your life! Her popularity skyrocketed!

I must be in the twilight zone. Jessica Biel’s face doesn’t move. Obvious Botox and fillers and if it was anyone else we’d be bitching about how actresses can no longer emote.

  11. QuiteContrary says:

I feel for Alison Hammond. Panic attacks can be really scary. I haven’t had one but a family member has, and they can present like heart attacks.

  12. jferber says:

Tuesday, Was she ever really an actress? Did she ever really emote? I remember she said something like she was too beautiful to be hired as an actress Maybe too lousy?
