Demi Moore posts video of being welcomed home by her seven little dogs: adorable?

There are very few things better than an enthusiastic dog greeting someone when they return home. Even if it was a crap day, when that pup starts whining because it can’t wait the extra 23 seconds it takes their person to open the door, your heart just melts. I love cats but they don’t care if, let alone when, I come home. But not dogs. The minute you cross the threshold, it’s an all-out love assault. And no one knows this better than Demi Moore, who has to face the love assault – times seven – every time she comes home to her Small Dog Gang. And by the looks of it, the Small Dog Gang is winning:

The best part is when Demi just slowly sinks into the dog bed, knowing resistance is futile. She’s carrying a small suitcase so it could be she’s just returned from being away (possibly the Met Gala) but the truth is, she could have just gone to the car to go get that suitcase out of the trunk five minutes before and these little doggos would greet her the same.

So Demi has a pack of seven precious pups, all ankle-biting height. It must get loud when the mail arrives. And feeding time, that’s got to be chaotic. She must alternate the vet appointments – could you imagine trying to wrangle that motley crew to get shots? But my main question is, how does Demi keep from stepping on them? It doesn’t matter if you live in a castle or a shack, the minute you enter the kitchen, dogs amass around your feet. My dogs are three feet high and weigh over 30 pounds each and I step on them all the time. I feel horrible every time I do, even if they barely even register it. If I had seven half-foot, fast-moving obstacles to circumvent, I’d be in a constant state of heightened anxiety.

I’m also a little more than fascinated by the room into which Demi enters. Is that the dog room? Not only is there that pillow bed on the floor, but that looks like a dog bed couch behind it. So do they have a clubhouse in Demi’s home? Or maybe it’s the dog boardroom, like they’ve organized, and this is where they run their operation. The only problem is that they keep getting derailed when the vacuum starts up. Coincidentally, Demi’s next film is called Corporate Animals. I can’t find any trailers for it online so – maybe this is the teaser? I’ll tell you what, I’d go see that film if so.

Speaking of Demi’s social media, she posted this photo of herself with Shawn Mendes at the Met Gala and her daughter, Rumer Willis, completely trolled her mom with the comment, “My new Stepdad.”

Adorable. Glad to see she’s doing well. My cat greets me every time I come home and meows loudly if I fumble with my keys and don’t get the door open fast enough. Warms my heart every day.

Rumer’s comment is priceless, lol, so perfect. Love it.

      Same

    • himmiefan says:

Yep, both of my cats come running when I get home from work. Adorable video.

    • NYC_Girl says:

Mine too! He also cries if I’m in the hallway talking to someone!

    • minx says:

Our dog barks wildly when someone is leaving the house and then watches sadly from the front window, still barking.
Then he is at the window to bark at us when we come home.

      • Mgsota says:

My cat could care less…but I love that about him.
My Yorkie is quite funny though, he doesn’t make a peep. I think he waits to see who it is, because if it’s a robber or something nefarious he doesn’t want to bring attention to himself. If someone is home with him and someone else comes home, he barks…cuz now he’s brave.
But we have a cat door from our house into the garage and when we leave you can see his little face looking out…breaks my heart.

    • hogtowngooner says:

Same! My cat comes always comes to the door and once he realizes it’s one of us, he flops over on the floor and demands belly rubs.

    • Dazed and confused says:

Same here. My cats come running to the door to greet me. I love it. It’s more…reserved…than a dog greeting, but they are definitely excited to see me. We have a whole routine when I come in.

There’s eight in the pic above. She must have lost one. ☹️

  3. TheOriginalMia says:

Adorable. I have 1 and she whines loudly when we come home and she can’t get to us. Don’t drop your keys or be slow to get the door open or it’s full on crying. It’s ridiculous and endearing. Just love her.

nothing beats crazy, waggy tails.. I’ve just started volunteering at a neighborhood doggie day care/pet shop; and one of the first things I noticed was they charge more for dog grooming than what I pay to have my hair styled.. lol
she looks great; props to her surgeon… but who is that trick behind her with her butt hanging out …

  5. Rapunzel says:

Don’t hate me, but that video just makes me anxious. I can’t imagine coming home to that. The dogs are cute, and yes, it’s adorable how much they love Demi, but 7 dogs immediately piling on me upon entering my home is not the calm I want in my house after a long day. But then that’s why I have no pets.

I love this! I have a chihuahua and he’s up in age and was born with a deformed leg, but little guy runs in circles and jumps when I come home. My husband found him out in the middle of nowhere on a farm to market road. He’s got such a funny little personality. He’s so dang cute, but he doesn’t like anyone touching him but me and my husband. Even then, he’ll let out a little grumble when he’s had enough of our petting him.

    • Wilady says:

I’m a rescue Chihuahua mom too!! The sweetest little bug, I love her!

    • Hunter says:

My friend has a Chihuahua and he’s the cutest! He also has a litterbox in a bathroom he uses, just like a cat!

  7. Karen2 says:

Love this. I’m impressed that for 7 dogs theres really not much yapping. They also dont go out that room. Obviously she has them looked after very well. Mwah.

  8. Jerusha says:

My 10 go crazy at dinnertime. They seem to have internal clocks that tell them, “It’s 4 o’clock, time for yummies.” Then they start jumping all over me. Happy time.

  9. Valiantly Varnished says:

My cat cries at the front door when I come home everyday. He hears the front entrancedoor of our apartment building open and by the time I am halfway up the stairs to our apartment he starts crying. Of course, this is because he’s hungry but once I feed him he starts crying again because he wants me to get on the bed so we can lay and cuddle.

    • himmiefan says:

      Sweet!

    • lucy2 says:

      Aw!
One of mine is right there, waiting for me to open the door. This morning when I left he was sitting there watching me go, broke my heart! His sister is much more blase about it – “oh, you’re home? I see.”

  10. Case says:

I think that’s…too many dogs. I just imagine that house smelling terrible and each dog not getting the attention it deserves. IDK. I know she’s rich, so maybe it’s not as bad as it would be for us common folk to have that many dogs.

  11. Anastasia says:

I have three rescue babies and LOVE IT. I want a fourth, but my husband is like nooooo. Too many.

Ah well. I’m jealous of her. I just hope a lot of them are rescues.

    • Robinda says:

Me, too. My husband is currently enforcing a three dog limit that seems entirely unreasonable. (He’s right, though, I’d be a hoarder if left to my own devices.)

  12. Charfromdarock says:

If I had money and resources I would have all the little dogs too!

My boy (Maltese) is so excited every time I come home whether I’m gone 2 minutes or overnight. 💕🐶

  13. Milkweed says:

Dogs are the best. Our Boston terrier/beagle mix yodels at us when we come home., our Frenchie/terrier mix hugs our legs, and our deaf Jack Russell needs a long greeting with lots of reassuring pets and kisses. It can look crazy having multiple dogs but they LOVE it. They are so happy in a pack. I commend her! I’d adopt 10 if we lived in the country.

  14. Sue Denim says:

I want a dog!! Or two or three… This made my morning, thanks 🙂

  15. H says:

I have two dogs and when I go away on vacation, then come back, it’s like I left for the war and I’m returning home victorious. I wish my condo didn’t have a pet limit as I would absolutely rescue an older dog. In a few years, when I retire I want to buy a piece of land where I can sit my tiny home on it and just have lots of animals.

  16. Canber says:

My dogs bark their heads off when I get home and they’re HOWLING when I live.

  17. IMUCU says:

I love “Or maybe it’s the dog boardroom, like they’ve organized, and this is where they run their operation. The only problem is that they keep getting derailed when the vacuum starts up.” Mr. IMUCU and I like to make up little stories, just like this, about the ones we dog-sit (that’s how I get my doggy-time in since we have a family bird that stays with us mostly– and has his own room too, lol — but goes and stays with my in-laws so I can get doggy-time every so often). My little “god-dogs” act the same way whenever I come home, it’s the best!

  18. Harryg says:

Dogs dogs dogs dogs I love dogs, I love them so much.

  19. Meeee says:

I pretend I don’t see my dog, when I get home, and then I start to ask where he’s at…He’s usually about 2 feet away, then he starts jumping around doing this half whine/bark thing. It’s pretty funny.

  20. Jaded says:

My cat Smitty rushes the door meowing when I get home, AND cries piteously when I leave. He’s rather dog-like that way. He’s on my lap as I type, curled up and hugging my thigh…*SIGH*…I lurve him.

  21. brooksie says:

I was just away from my 7 month old golden retriever for 5 days. Coming home to her was the best moment ever. She saw me, started to cry and wag her tail and when I got down to her level, she rolled over for a belly rub and then jumped up and started to give me kisses. God, I love her so much.

  22. Adrianna says:

I come home from a hard day at work, sit on the sofa with my little dog and she covers my face with sweet kisses. She absorbs all my stress and makes me feel so much better. Cuddling her is the best thing ever.

  23. MrsK says:

That looks somewhat … modest … to be a star’s entryway. It looks like it might be the poolhouse or an office. Maybe it’s an alcove off her bedroom that’s the Doggos’ Palace.

Any pet owner can identify with that slowly-sinking-backward feeling of giving in to the cuddle puddle. Best part of the day.

  24. Silvie says:

God, she is still so gorgeous. And she’s always seemed like a fun person to be around.
