Donald Trump called Duchess Meghan ‘nasty’ again in a Piers Morgan interview

U.S. President Trump's State Visit To UK - Day Two

Donald Trump sat down for an interview with Piers Morgan and Piers slavishly gave him a Winston Churchill-style hat to try on, and that’s how we got this screencap-photo. I would say Trump looks like an unhinged bullfrog, but I actually love frogs and I don’t want to put that Trumpness on them. Let’s just be petty and say that Trump looks like an unhinged nutjob in a hat. As for the interview… I’m sure I could find some video clips somewhere, but I’m not going to post them. Piers Morgan absolutely adores Trump and the whole thing seemed like that disgusting Russian-style propaganda from what little I saw. So I’m depending on the Daily Mail for quotes, and of course Trump called the Duchess of Sussex “nasty” again. I bet Piers Big-O’d in his pantaloons. Some quotes from Trump:

On Churchill: “He was able to handle pressure very well. Hitler was unstoppable at the time – he was going through countries like cheese. He was calling Roosevelt saying: ‘You gotta get in, you gotta get in’. He was a great man who reacted so well under the gun, under pressure. There are not many people like that.”

On the Duchess of Sussex: “She was nasty to me. And that’s OK for her to be nasty, it’s not good for me to be nasty to her and I wasn’t. You know what? She’s doing a good job, I hope she enjoys her life… I think she’s very nice.”

On Prince Harry: “He’s a terrific guy. He spent a lot of time talking to Ivanka and talking to my family. I went up – he couldn’t have been nicer. Couldn’t have been nicer… I think he’s great.’

On the Queen: She [Trump’s mother Mary] loved the Royals, she loved the Queen. And I always noticed, whenever anything was on about the Queen she would watch. She was a big fan of this…I told her [The Queen] last night. She was very honoured. But my mother would always… she just had great respect. She understood. My mother understood people very well. She knew people. And she got it right from the beginning. The Queen is a great lady.”

On Prince Charles: “We were going to have a 15-minute chat. And it turned out to be an hour and a half. And he did most of the talking. He is really into climate change, and I think that’s great, I mean I want that, I like that’

On climate change: “I believe there’s a change in weather, and I think it changes both ways. Don’t forget, it used to be called global warming, that wasn’t working, then it was called climate change, now it’s actually called extreme weather’

[From The Daily Mail]

“She was nasty to me. And that’s OK for her to be nasty, it’s not good for me to be nasty to her and I wasn’t.” And then tomorrow he’ll say that he never called her “nasty” anyway. I’d just like to remind everyone yet again that Donald Trump thinks women are “nasty” when they merely correctly identify him as a misogynist. That’s it. That’s all it takes to be labeled as “nasty” by Trump. And he doesn’t think labeling all free-thinking women as “nasty” is misogynistic or sexist or inappropriate. As for Charles lecturing him on climate change… my guess is that it was not 90 minutes. It was probably five minutes, if that.

Only because he knows his host adores that BS. I really can’t believe this is the man who is representing our country. I always thank my friends in Europe when I visit that they haven’t discussed politics. We used to have lively debates, now we just shake our heads in disbelief.

    • Ronaldinhio says:

I am not a Trump supporter or apologiser but on this occasion I believe this is being wrongly contextualized.
He was saying she was nasty about him. He said it was fine for her to be nasty. He said it wasn’t fine for him to be nasty about her. He then wished her well.
This is one of the most grown up and self aware conversations the POTUS has ever had.

She can hold her views and they will not be reached upon or echoed by me.

      • minx says:

Except she wasn’t “nasty,” she expressed an opinion and wasn’t fawning about Drumpf. To him that’s nasty, particularly coming from a woman. He wants praise all day every day.

      • Swack says:

Here is his original quote during the interview: “I didn’t know that. What can I say? I didn’t know that she was nasty,” Mr Trump said, when asked about her comments. Where does that indicate he was saying that she was nasty about him? If that was the case then Trump should have said “I didn’t know she was saying nasty things about me”. They are always trying to explain away the things Trump says after the flak comes out.

      • Down and Out says:

@Ronaldinhio Yeah I agree. There are many, many things to rightfully attack Trump on. I don’t think this should be one of them. He meant she was being nasty (ie mean) to him, not that she is a nasty (ie gross/offensive) person. It’s that simple. Still, Team Meghan.

      • minx says:

He could have said “I’m sorry she feels that way” etc. instead of labeling her comment as “nasty”—because it was the truth.

      • Down and Out says:

@minx agreed, he could have said that & it would’ve been clearer. But no one’s ever accused him of being tactful.

      • NeoCleo says:

        He insulted her period.

      • otaku fairy... says:

She told a basic truth about Trump that informed and self-respecting women are already aware of: He’s a misogynist. It’s not nasty, it’s honesty. She didn’t play the game women are conditioned to play where we turn a blind eye to or minimize insensitive, harmful, abusive, and misogynistic language and behaviors in men or tell women on the left they’re overreacting to those things. Because Meghan Markle didn’t act as one of his Desensitized Good Girls (the kind of women men like Trump, Piers Morgan, and Mike Pence are used to being enabled and encouraged by), Trump proves her point by calling her nasty for it and doubling down on that point.

      • Wickster says:

She expressed an opinion. He labeled her “nasty” because of it. Nothing in here was “wrongly contextualized.”

      • Bella Bella says:

Yeah, how many times did Trump say the word “nasty” in his comments? Is it even appropriate AT ALL??!! Especially when that’s all his base will come away with, since they are limited to absorbing only one or two words.

      • lisa says:

Hey Ronald, way to fine-tooth-comb his comments. You know how Trump uses the word “nasty” – you and I both know what he really means. It’s not a word a gentleman uses to refer to a woman. So gimme a break!

      • Molly says:

He no longer gets the benefit of the doubt with “he MEANT to say XYZ not terrible thing.” No. He meant the terrible thing. He always means the terrible thing.

      • ChiaMom says:

You’re nasty and I’m sure you’re fine with me saying that because of you’re being nasty.

      • Mel M says:

@minx-exactly, that’s why he holds these rally’s all the time because he needs adoration and celebration ALL. THE. TIME. And is it even her expressing an opinion? She was stating facts as far as I’m concerned and he’s done nothing to prove otherwise.

      • Shannon says:

This pains me, but I agree. The bar is so fkn low for him, but still, here he comes off as attempting to clarify and it’s not the worst thing I’ve heard him say. Obvs I’m Team Meghan, but for this one moment, I’ll withhold my outrage.

      • Amanduh says:

I agree. My mother in law is around Trumps age and uses “nasty” all the time to describe my toddlers behavior when shes having a meltdown or being grumpy. “Oh shes being nasty! Don’t be nasty!” I think its another way to say someone is being mean or acting inappropriately. I don’t agree with him saying she was acting that way but I don’t think its meant the way some people are interpreting it?

      • spicydragonfly79 says:

please. thats setting the bar way too low. he could have wished her will WITHOUT insulting her by calling her nasty. so no pass. hes a moron and speaks like a moron. lacks manners, intelligence and grace.

      • pria says:

No, that’s where you’re wrong. It’s not being “wrongly contextualized,” in the way you mean. People trying to retroactively make him and his staff cohorts make sense or not seem as bad, have got it wrong–

He is deliberately misstating, he’s parsing. His toddler-esque language skills tend to naturally make people work at figuring out his intent. Which works for him as he can say, ‘oh no, I dont mean it that way.’ But he does. He is always game to attack women. ‘Nasty,’ is a fave. He’s called women he’s never met, who’ve never uttered a word about him, worse than that.

Let’s be real. We all know who this is. This is a man who ranks women. Calls them fat, calls them ugly. Calls them whores. He admittedly owned up to his access Hollywood tape and came the closest to an apology we’ve ever seen, and we all know his rallies were racist cesspools of toxic dumb dwindling masculinity.

So no one thinks that a woman, any woman or a man, in 2016 saying he was misogynistic and divisive is somehow reaching or stretching the truth. I don’t know her exact quote, but that was a clear eyed assessment and very doplomatic take of a vile lunatic who didn’t deserve it, if you ask me.

Let’s keep it 100. Calling women nasty. Talking about our bleeding, from our facelifts or our wherevers. Is what he does. He has mommy issues. It’s my opinion that women are a tool to impress other men. I think he resents women most of the time.

Anyone with a smidgen of people acumen, knows what that sociopath was up to with Meghan.

      • BayTampaBay says:

@pria, ” vile lunatic ” excellent description of Donald J. Chump!

  2. ByTheSea says:

I’m in an alternate reality. I have to be. This can’t be real.

    • IlsaLund says:

We’re living in f-ing Twilight Zone. I just want the Mothership to come rescue me off this planet.

    • Esmom says:

I know, I KNOW. I never imagined being in a timeline where kids know more about history and the environment than the POTUS and are more articulate and decent. I feel like we’re stuck here forever.

Melania’s hat looks like those flying saucer wafer candies.

      • Christin says:

It looks like she is auditioning for the lead role in a budget movie about Sophia Loren.

      • Snappyfish says:

Who ever directed Melania to that hat simply hates her

      • Megan says:

Barron needs to sit Trump down and give him a basic fifth grade science lesson.

      • Megan says:

As for the hat, I think she is cosplaying Meghan’s hat at last year’s trooping of the colors

      • BayTampaBay says:

Melania’s hat reminds me of a blue & white “flying saucer” hat that Diana wore in the 1980s.

      • BeanieBean says:

It’s gotten to the point I can’t even stand to read his quotes; they’re just so stupid.

  3. runcmc says:

Wow, I do love that Charles used his short one-on-one time with Trump to (attempt to) hammer the reality of climate change into him. Unfortunately, Trump is a moron and didn’t understand what was happening… but good on Charles for trying.

    • jwoolman says:

Nobody will believe that Trump has the attention span to listen to Charles talking about climate change for 90 minutes. Some reporter needs to ask both Harry and Charles directly about how much time they spent talking about anything to the Trump clan.

Trump is such a pathological liar that everything he claims about anybody or any statistics he quotes need to be double-checked. He just pulls stuff out of the air. And he’s proud of his lies. The only way to deal with a liar is to insist on establishing the truth.

      • cannibell says:

It probably FELT like 90 minutes to Trump, because someone was talking about something important that wasn’t him.

      • Molly says:

Many reports have stated that the meeting was supposed to be 30 minutes and it lasted 45. The lying is pathological.

      • Dee Kay says:

I thought all this, too: a) good for Charles for using his time with Trump to try to get one of the most important decision-makers in the world (sadly, it is just the truth, whether an a–clown is POTUS or a genius is POTUS, they are automatically super powerful) to understand the urgency of climate change; b) good for Charles for extending his time with Trump, for lecturing him even (“He did most of the talking” said the idiot)! which must have been at least a little bit hard for Charles, but c) how on earth did Trump sit and listen to *anything* for 90 minutes?!?!?

I definitely believe Molly’s summary, that it was not 90 but 45. Even that seems long for Trump to be listening to anyone about anything.

    • lucy2 says:

Yeah I give Charles credit for trying, but you know it went in one orange ear and out the other, impeded by nothing in the brain region.

“He is really into climate change, and I think that’s great, I mean I want that, I like that”
followed by how he doesn’t believe it’s real. WTF. He’s so f’ing stupid I can’t take it.

      • BlueOrange says:

Yes I get so frustrated with the Royals but you put Trump in the middle of it all and suddenly you gain a lot of perspective. Trump is good for something at least.

    • Bella Bella says:

Trump sounded like he only learned what climate change means yesterday when he met with Prince Charles. GAH.

  4. Swack says:

First, that hat is TOO big for his head. Second, Trump has NO clue the difference between climate and weather – and yes Trump the weather does change back and forth and extreme weather is caused by climate change. He really does not know when to shut his mouth. But then again he’s the expert on everything (rolling my eyes).

  5. Valiantly Varnished says:

Welp let’s see how the Trumpets try to spin this one.

  6. Sarah says:

It goes without saying, but what a BUFFOON. Never has that word been more appropriate (except for the amusing part. Nothing funny about it)

  7. thaisajs says:

God, I can’t believe the Queen had to deal with him AGAIN today. She’s really taking one for the team, huh?

  8. Megan says:

Someone needs to buy Piers Morgan a one way ticket to the moon.

  9. Weaver says:

He’s such a lying buffoon. Harry ditched them the first chance he got. There was no lengthy conversation.

    • Esmom says:

I know, right? And I’m guessing he didn’t spend as much time with Ivanka as they’re trying to make it seem. Sigh.

      • Lightpurple says:

He found someone else to talk to in all the pictures with her and he dodged her as quickly as possible. Nagini has no photo souvenirs of herself with Harry to take back home. None at all with the Queen, Charles, Camilla, William or Kate. Just Sophie and one with Andrew across a conference table. It’s as if she never met them. Poor Nagini.

      • Esmom says:

Ha. And the NYT dared to pose the question of whether the Trumps are the new Kennedys. I felt my blood boil when I read that…they. need. no. encouragement.

      • lucy2 says:

Yeah I found that funny, him trying to pair up Harry and Ivanka like that. Please.

It’s amazing to me that he’s calling Meghan nasty, when HER FAMILY, the Royal Family, is hosting him. Disgusting.

      • Bella Bella says:

@Lightpurple, Alas, the NY Times itself found a picture of Harry with Ivanka and used it in one of their articles about this clownshow. The NY Times called the Trumps the new Kennedys. I am dying.

      • Kelsey says:

There’s one super-brief photo with Ivanka and Harry and he bolted away from her side as soon as they entered the artifacts room.

I doubt they talked for more than 5 minutes outside of the lunch. Harry couldn’t wait to get out of there. Will and Kate haven’t mentioned the Trump name on their IG or Twitter accounts. Just “state visit” or retweeting The Royal Family twitter account.

None of them really want anything to do with Trump and his grifting, lazy and useless family. Can you blame them?

I am so, so happy that the Trumps didn’t get all the photo ops they wanted. Trump wanted Will, Kate and Harry to have a sitdown with his slacker spawn and work together. Obviously that did not happen.

    • Becks1 says:

Right?? we all saw it lol. Maybe there was some talking at the lunch, who knows, but my guess is if so it was very polite and limited in scope.

Also omg, he sounds so stupid when he talks about climate change. Its so embarrassing.

    • Megan says:

Harry was probably seated next to her at lunch. Trump is mistaking polite small talk for interest.

    • Iknow says:

He’s obviously been obsessing about the coverage and knew EXACTLY what people were pointing out: That Harry ditched Ivanka as soon as he could.

  10. Elkie says:

What in Jocelyn Wildestein hell has Melania been doing to herself?!!

    • Iknow says:

      She can’t open her eyes.

    • Bella DuPont says:

      @ Iknow….

Lol….let’s not exaggerate…..at most 3 or 4 face lifts, a few dozen syringes of some sort of filler and all round botoxing.

Only some light work, really. 😬

      • (TheOG)@Jan90067 says:

She needs to get her “kidneys” readjusted: one is hanging lower than the other at this point (see her walking into the State Dinner in that too tight white dress).

      • PlainJane says:

I think Malaria’s “kidneys’ are still settling, thus the uneven landscape.

And now I can’t unsee it!!!

      • BayTampaBay says:

Are we really talking about kidneys or something else? After the last 48 hours of watching my country humiliated my brain is mush!

    • Kelsey says:

Remember when she was away and out of sight for a month – month and-a-half? They claimed she had a “kidney” health issue and required hospitalization (yet was only in for a day) when we all know she had something else done.

  11. JoJo says:

Nothing she said about him would even come close to being nasty to a normal, rational person with some sense.

  12. IlsaLund says:

My god that man is an ignoramus. This cannot continue for another 4 years. And you can tell just how petty and thin skinned he is by his comment on Meghan. His lil feelings got hurt cause he rightfully got called out for calling her nasty. “Boo boo, she can call me nasty but I can’t say that about her.” I just wish Karma would take care of Trump, Piers and the whole lot of them.

  13. Aang says:

No he didn’t. Fake news. Don’t believe what you hear. Plus she’s black so it doesn’t count. BTW have we ever seen her birth certificate?

    • Bettyrose says:

Look, there’s good weather and bad weather on both sides. It changes both ways.

  14. K.T says:

Racist is as racist does. (This can be interexchanged with sexist too).

  15. Incredulous says:

Trump in that hat looks like really bad Phantasm cosplay.

    • AnnaKist says:

Kaiser is reluctant to call him an unhinged bullfrog, and I agree. He looks like a demented, unhinged cane toad. Cane toads are vile, ugly, nasty buggers.

  16. Louisa says:

His comments on climate change make me want to scream. And cry. The planet is literally dying and it’s a big f**king joke to him and morons like him.

    • Deedee says:

That’s because he won’t be around and doesn’t care what happens to the planet. He doesn’t care about what his children and grandchildren have to suffer. But then again, he doesn’t know the difference between weather and climate, and after a one and a half hour talk with Charles, he still walked out not knowing the difference. I bet he wasn’t even listening but instead was wishing he was playing gold with Andrew.

  17. Britt says:

Piers Morgan needs help with his Meghan obsession. You can’t tell me that he wasn’t attracted to her because he acts like a stalker and jilted lover. That or he wanted access like every other journalist and didn’t get it and in return, he shames her and goades Harry because he knows Harry must’ve let her know about his past unethical behavior. It’s clear Meghan is powerful and makes a lot of money for the horrid British media because they seem to get withdrawal symptoms if they don’t get stories or photos of her. They tried to shame about her trump comments and it backfired because people clearly don’t like him. They Keep throwing mud at her and it never sticks. George Clooney was not lying about the Diana comparisons at all and it’s terrible.

    • BlueSky says:

Piers is about as thin skinned as Orange Mussolini. Piers is just mad because she is denying him the attention he thinks he deserves. He’s salty because his ass kissing to get an invite to the wedding didn’t work. He probably thought he would have all this access because he has met her before, I believe.

Men like him and Trump cannot fathom any woman having a thought independent of that patriarchal mindset. They are used to women coddling them and puffing them up and don’t know how to deal with any other type of woman. I’m sure Meghan having her own experience with a narcissist father knows all too well what these men are all about.

      • Megan says:

Plus Trump and Piers think they are highly attractive to women and are confused when rejected. They make the case that reverse body dysmorphia could be a real thing.

      • otaku fairy... says:

“Men like Piers and Trump cannot fathom any woman having a thought independent of that patriarchal mindset.” Exactly!

      • Jane'sWastedTalent says:

Lo @’reverse body dysmorphia.’ I love it- that idea explains so much… 😀

      • ToiFilles says:

“They make the case that reverse body dysmorphia could be a real thing.”

Years ago, I came across an article describing this very thing. The (male) author quipped it as “manorexia”

    • TheOriginalMia says:

Piers said he knows he should let it go, but he has to see her face every day and wonder why she ghosted him. MF she doesn’t owe you a reason for cutting off contact with a married man and reporter! The nerve of this paid stalker. Meghan living rent free in his mind.

    • Melissa says:

I agree. The press tried to shame Meghan and ended up turning her into a hero for a lot people. I will also say this, Harry and Meghan need to find themselves a trusted ally within the British press. All the royals have their favorite reporters and photographers who they give info to. I think this tactic will help them out just as much, if not more than relying on US media and Instagram to tell their story.

  18. Casey20 says:

Help please!!! I started focusing more time on Royalty to get away from Trump and now here he is….my worlds have clashed and I don’t like it!! Keeping my fingers cross that we’re done with Ole Bone Spurs and family. America has once again been embarrassed on the world stage by these idiots. Just for once I wish one of these reporters would say to Trump..”do you think it was nasty when you said you would take nude pictures of Kate? Do you think it was nasty when you said you would nail Harry’s mother? Do you think it was nasty when you said you like to grab women by the Puss*? With all that being said was Meghan wrong in her characterization of you?” Why do they interview Trump as if Meghan called him out for no reason? When will the Trumps go away so we can get back to Royalty…please!!!

  19. Beli says:

Because I’ve been giggling about it nonstop, let’s pour one out for The Queen for gifting Dump a book. The old girl’s got a sense of humour.

    • Casey20 says:

If me must talk Trump we need to talk about one of my new favorites Camilla. I never paid attention to her before because of the difference in age and the Diana years but she’s great. I never realized she has a presence about her. She and Charles look absolutely beautiful together as a couple and standing next to the Orange Blimp and his nude model wife it was very evident. Charles is a great dresser and Camilla held her own. If I was given a chance to talk to one person who attended the Trumps Go to Buckingham Palace I would talk to Camilla. I have a feeling the discussion would be laughs to no end!!

      • (TheOG)@Jan90067 says:

I’d’ve LOVED to be a fly on the wall in Charles’ and Cam’s room when they talked about the meeting (as couples do after a party). You can just IMAGINE the language she let fly lol

      • Dee Kay says:

I’m sure Camilla would be *really* interesting to talk with!!!! I think she and Charles are a great match and they both seem really smart (maybe it’s just in comparison to everyone around them, but still). I was a Diana fan (while recognizing she suffered mental illness and eating disorders and made many poor choices, partly because of them and partly b/c she became the most famous woman in the world super duper young with almost no education whatsoever). But being a Diana fan has not made me a Camilla hater. I wish Charles had been able to marry Camilla when he first fell in love with her. Diana would still be alive today (though she would be wholly unknown), and Camilla would have made a better life and work partner for Charles from the start. Maybe if Diana’s life had not ended in tragedy, and she had been able to have a happy second marriage, people would not hate on Camilla so much out of some kind of sense of loyalty to Diana’s memory.

  20. Jane says:

I don’t think Trump knows the definition of climate change. Like literally probably drew blank when that question came up. That’s the only reason he let somebody else talk for an hour. He just didn’t know what it meant.

    • IlsaLund says:

So true. The fool equates “the weather” with climate change. No sense trying to explain science to someone so stupid.

  21. Iknow says:

Can I just say how low-class the Trumpkins have behaved during this trip. All the pictures posted on Instagram of the State dinner and in Churchill’s War Room, are embarrassing. I mean, act like you’ve been some place before.

    • IlsaLund says:

It’s like the classic stereotype of hillbillies (think Clampetts) crashing an elite society function. No amount of makeup, fancy clothes, NOTHING, can erase the uncultured character of the Trump’s.

    • Esmom says:

You can’t fake graciousness or humility or intellectual curiosity. They’re just dumb and clueless and seem to have zero desire to learn or engage with the world in any meaningful way. It’s pathetic and enraging.

    • MaryContrary says:

They are so awful and tacky. Gad-it’s just cringey. Especially when you compare them with the Obamas visiting . . .

  22. lassie says:

They are trying to make that too big hat a ‘relatable’ moment, just like the Jimmy Fallon hair muss. “Look at him! He’s got a sense of humor. He’s so cool.”

He looks stupid. He is stupid.

    • Esmom says:

He looks ridiculous. The guy has zero ability to let someone else be in control, he seems like he’s weirdly both on high alert and completely oblivious at the same time. He’s so deeply, deeply insecure.

  23. Peg says:

It appears that none of the younger Royals posed with Trump or his children for a Money shot, so he will just have to use pictures with the Queen, Charles and Camilla.

    • IlsaLund says:

And I hope the Royals issue a cease and desist order when Trump tries to use the photos in his campaign.

    • Casey20 says:

Masterfully orchestrated by the Royals. Not one of the Trumps photographed with the younger Royals. Not to mention a complete shutdown of Ivanka because I’m certain she requested a meeting with the Cambridge’s and Sussex’s!!!

      • Original T.C. says:

Like I said yesterday, they know the Trumps are con-artists and grifters. Someone on MSNBC pointed out the Queen is working hard to make Trump realize the importance of America not going it alone by talking about the achievements of the Allies during WWI and WWII. That’s her only goal during this visit. She lived during those horrible times. Her grandkids don’t have to socialize with the grifters.

  24. Jen says:

Holy hell. #45 trying to talk science just made my eye wonky. Global warming, climate change and extreme weather??

  25. wolfgirl says:

To my U.S Celebitchy sisters. I’m so sorry.. . I want to hug you all because of you having to live with this… travesty… as your President. We don’t ever judge you. We love your feisty fighting back and your political anger and your interest in the world and your kind acceptance of difference and your refusal to accept this as your future. You go girls.
    Lots of love.

    • BayTampaBay says:

Thanks wolfgirl for all your support and understanding.

CB and Kaiser need to set up an annual Celebitchy conference somewhere fun so we all can meet in person. Camilla should be invited to be the keynote speaker at the first conference to entertain us with Chump stories and other great tea she cares to spill.

We would all wonder around on a great beach in a three day wine stooper discussing our favorite Celebitchy stories.

All profits could be donated to charity

    • minx says:

Thank you so much, appreciate the sympathy. I feel we are living in hell.

    • Snowflake says:

      Aww thank you! 😘

  26. Louise says:

First of all, Piers Morgan is disgusting. Second. I noticed that Drump never mentioned William or Kate. I bet they didn’t even make polite conversation with him or he would have made it a big deal

  27. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

    Does cheese travel?

  28. T.Fanty says:

The only thing that is worth my time and attention here is the Queen’s sunglasses. The rest of hit can all get flushed down the toilet, where it belongs.

  29. adastraperaspera says:

Piers Morgan = created by Rupert Murdoch
Trump = created by Mark Burnett

  30. TheOriginalMia says:

Hmm…my comment didn’t post. Piers is a stalker obsessed with a woman not his wife. Trump is an idiot, who has the nuclear codes. Ain’t life grand?! One joy I have is laughing at all the royalty cosplay of Melania and crew. That hat is ridiculous. She needs to lay off whatever makes her look like she’s squinting non-stop.

    • otaku fairy... says:

I think you’re definitely, onto something, and it’s a great that his shenanigans aren’t always covered here. Ugh.

  31. Vanessa says:

I honestly think that Piers is really obsession with Meghan if we are all to believe piers Morgan version of events . That him and Meghan were becoming friends and she ghosted him for Harry that still doesn’t justify him actions towards her for the record I don’t believe piers Morgans version. The only reason Meghan meet piers Morgan was because she and one of co workers from suits were doing promotion for the show the fact that he meet Meghan once and he becomes so weirdly obession with her is so bizarre you have a man in the media abusing his powers as a journalist to come after a woman who doesn’t want anything to do with him and he using the daily mail to further his own personal vendetta against Meghan . Trump is a idiot I don’t believe him that he or any of his family had long talks with the royal trumps is so desperately to be seen as a royal .

    • Yoyo says:

Facts, Meghan met Piers once for a drink, she told him she was going on a date, and it was the last time he saw or heard from her.
Turned out the date was with Harry, most likely she told Harry she had a drink with Piers, and Harry gave her his opinion of Piers, Meghan is no fool, she made her choice.
Even Piers’ mother knows he is obsessed with Meghan, and asked him to leave her alone, he admitted it on TV.
This fixated list is growing, father, the other daughter, woman beater and sadistic Piers to name a few.
You can’t force people to acknowledge you, if they don’t want to.

      • Fiffy says:

He’s such a creep. Everytime he spouts his shitty opinions I wonder why the hell he’s not in jail for hacking a dead girl’s phone and intruding on a police investigation as a result.

      • Beli says:

I can’t imagine Piers Morgan lasting five minutes without being a complete arse. So many people in the country hate him that it’s practically a meme. I wouldn’t be surprised if Meghan walked away from that drink shuddering and thinking “never again”.

      • BayTampaBay says:

@Beli, It is the Howard Stern Syndrome! People tune in and listen to be offended at what he says next.

  32. lowercaselila says:

Personally, I find the intelligence of Piers Morgan to be fairly ambiguous. He does seem to have mastered the art of cringe worthy interviews and bashing Meghan.

  33. crass says:

“As for Charles lecturing him on climate change… my guess is that it was not 90 minutes. It was probably five minutes, if that.”

I agree with you @Kaiser. It was probably just 5 mins or less. But with his attention span, it felt like 90.

  34. Tina says:

Trump hasn’t left the UK yet. Once he’s gone, I fully expect offensive tweets about Charles, Megan, May, Gove, Hunt etc. Maybe even the Queen, although I suspect not. That’s his MO – relatively polite to people’s faces and then he insults them once he is somewhere else.

    • Casey20 says:

Tina: once the realization hits Trump that the Royals basically made fools of him a and his family he may fight back, but I doubt it. He has invested so much of his ego on this trip that I don’t think he will admit defeat. Not to mention all hell is breaking lose for him in the US from both Republicans and Democrats!

  37. tuille says:

I can’t believe DT brought his adult offspring & their spouses. And Mnuchin, whose wife is a British actress. Mnuchin’s the one who “borrowed” AirForce 1 for a fun trip with his wife-I think they were globe-hopping to see an eclipse. Poor Donny Jr. didn’t get to bring his g.f. She (Guilfoyle) would have elbowed her way into every pic.

    • BeanieBean says:

They’re all touristing at our expense. There are not enough superlatives to express my disgust & anger at this point.

  38. kerwood says:

When I saw the clip of Piers Morgan and 45 talking about the Duchess of Sussex, my first thought was ‘oh, a meeting of the men that the Duchess wouldn’t fuck at gunpoint. And THEY KNOW IT!.

45 has made such a fool of himself, it’s pathetic. He knows that the elephant in the room during his whole royal visit (the OTHER, better-looking elephant) was all the ugly things he’s said. Not just the things he’s said about Megan; they were just the most recent. He’s also had some vile things to say about Princess Diana and the Duchess of Cambridge. Not to mention the things he’s said about his own daughter.

Drumpf knew that everyone in the room were thinking about the things he’s said and DESPISING him for it. He also knew that everyone was comparing him, his wife and his whole grifter entourage to the Obamas and his crew was coming up VERY short. But that’s been the problem since the very beginning. 45 knows that he doesn’t measure up to the REAL President of the United States in any way shape or form.

  39. Lowrider says:

    Nastygate

This is too much. Meghan is off the radar for a month…Was not invited to the banquet and she was still one of the dominant topics of Cheetos’s trip.

  40. Valerie says:

Wait… Hitler was the great one or Churchhill? There’s no good answer, but Jesus, he is SO unclear when he speaks.

  41. Kendra says:

Well he said she was nasty to him but the rest was positive so that was a lot better than I was expecting.

    • Yoyo says:

Which interview are you talking about? The Sun or Piers Morgan?
With the Sun, he said she was nasty, video is out there.

  42. Skeptical says:

Meh. After all this time, you’d think he’d learn how to anticipate and finesse these kind of questions. In fact he wants to dog whistle his racism and his deplorables are in on it, including Morgan.

  43. M.A.F. says:

It’s so damn scary that I no longer have to watch any clip he is in. I can hear the sound of his voice & the way he breaths as I read the transcript.

  44. Ann says:

I would take it as a compliment to be called nasty by someone like Trump. I take bitch as a compliment these days so people have stopped calling me one. Sad.

  45. Tashiro says:

The Queen looks pretty cool with those sunglasses on 🙂

    • Digital Unicorn says:

I always think of The Matrix when I see her in sunglasses, not sure why. They make her look badass.

Also one 93 year old d-day veteran flirted with Melania in front of Trump. Apparently the old guy said ‘She’s lovely isn’t she. If it wasn’t for you and I was 20 years younger…’ Trump didn’t look pleased, he had a fake grin saying ‘He could handle it’.

Am generally not a fan of Melania but to be charitable she has been the only one whose surname is Trump who made an effort to behave respectfully. She was the least trashily dressed female Trump.

      • Christin says:

I’m surprised Orange didn’t crassly reply that she’s several years past his personal ideal of a woman’s sell-by date.

Last night, an author (not Wolff) repeated a claim that Orange once said that he was bored with Marla (wife number 2) even as she walked down the aisle. The author called Marla to confirm parts of a broader story, and said that she paused when he told her about that comment. She was clearly hurt.

The point of last night’s discussion was that Orange was a punch line until his game show somehow rebranded him to those outside New York. Now, more claims about his behavior and finances are coming out. The panelists believe the remade facade is cracking once again, and that returning to being a joke is in the not-so-distant future.

      • Digital Unicorn says:

I recall reading somewhere that he didn’t even want to divorce Ivana, he only did because Marla got pregnant and he felt obliged to marry her which he bitterly regretted and is likely why it didn’t last long. It was reported that he was really really nasty to her and would not give her any money during the marriage. I know there was domestic abuse with Ivana (she accused him of marital rape in her divorce filing and the retracted it when a settlement was reached) and its alleged he was physically abusive to Marla but she has never said anything, yet. Its a theme with him, there has been rumours about him beating Melania (the infamous elevator tape that Cohen talked about).

I believe he is capable of it as he has a long history of violence starting when he was a child.

I don’t think it will matter to his base, he keeps saying things that they want to hear.

  46. Sassy says:

It’s amazing how some people here are twisting themselves into a pretzel to say Trump didn’t say what we heard him say on video the first time.

  47. Universe says:

I think pierce has a pic of Meghan on his phone and he looks at in in rage every day.

This obsession he has with her is really quite alarming

You are interviewing the president and you ask him about Meghan..
    What a joke

  48. SparkleFan says:

This was Dumpster’s attempt at being diplomatic. But his bruised ego can’t help but take a jab at the Duchess of Sussex. Obviously he didn’t say she was nasty in this particular interview but it took all of his one brain cell to restrain himself and still his deep rooted hate sipped through.

  49. Bunny says:

    Dearest England,

We’re so terribly sorry about the Dotard and his wretched family. Please accept our most sincere apologies.

  50. Jerusha says:

I seriously doubt Churchill ever said the words “ You gotta get in.”
But, of course, he wasn’t a thug with a third grade vocabulary.

And Harry ghosted DaughterWife as soon as he escorted her into that room.

  51. Mrs.Krabapple says:

Trump speaks like someone who had a stroke. Unless he’s always suffered from some type of brain damage, he should really see a doctor — and I mean a REAL doctor, not Ronny McQuackers.

  52. A says:

I am struggling very hard to decide who I dislike more between the two of these fcking a-holes, and I have to say, Piers Pugh squeaks by on the tiniest of margins. He’s absolutely repugnant in the worst possible way, and he’s legit found a kindred spirit in Trump with whom he can indulge in his Meghan bashing, which he only does because he knows she’s the least protected member of the RF in terms of media attacks. He wouldn’t dare go for anyone else in the family in the same way.

  53. blunt talker says:

After Piers interview with the Donald, he is demanding that Meghan come on his show and explain why she ghosted him and stopped being his friend. He says he looks at her picture and don’t understand why she did this to him. He knows he should let his feud with the Duchess go because it is not mentally healthy to keep raging about another man’s wife. People Piers makes me uneasy and kind of scared for the Sussex family. He feels it was wrong for Harry to get Meghan and now she has ghosted every talking to him. He knows why she doesn’t stay in contact/her future husband put the kabosh on any friendship with the press that the royals don’t approve of. Piers knows this.

    • Casey20 says:

It’s a one sided feud for attention. Meghan makes him relevant so he attacks her. It’s getting old and he looks ridiculous. They should place him on Royal Security Fix Persons list like the “other daughter”…LOL
