Over the summer, Angelina Jolie took her kids to Europe for some fun, travel and work. During that trip, we kept getting stories and photos of Jolie with her friends. She ended up hanging out with Chinese artist Ai Weiwei, Prune Nourry and JR. JR is a “street artist” and he took many photos of Angelina (mostly posted to his IG Stories) during the trip. A nice time was had by all, and I halfway wondered if JR’s photos would end up in a magazine editorial as Jolie promoted The Eternals. That didn’t happen! Instead, I kind of wonder if Jolie turns up in JR’s documentary, Paper and Glue: A JR Project.
Last night, Paper and Glue: A JR Project premiered in LA. Angelina attended the premiere and happily posed with JR (who honestly looks like her type). Jolie brought two of her kids, probably the two “artsy” kids, Shiloh and Pax. Pax rarely does premieres with his mom these days, so he must have really been interested in the documentary. Shiloh’s back to her tomboy style. They’re both really good-looking kids. Angelina wore one of her favorite ensembles: a black pencil skirt and a black turtleneck.
Jolie was also seen out a few nights ago in LA – she was apparently attending an evening event for Guerlain (one of her few endorsements), but there were only street photos of her outside the event. I didn’t see anything from inside the event?

Pax has incredible bone structure
He has a beautiful smile. Both children do . I was surprised to see him, he doesn’t seem to like these events, but I supposed its a little smaller than a Marvel premiere, so probably not as long of a press line.
My first thought (with that last pic especially) was what beautiful smiles both those kids have. I can’t believe how grown up they all are. AJ has raised some lovely children.

He has really grown up & gotten so handsome! Gone is the shy teenager, here now is a confident young man.
JR is cute, get it Angelina! And that’s not “tomboy” on Shiloh, all the teenage girls dress like that these days 🙂
No kidding, that man is so good looking with great style. To me this pic is the epitome of beautiful people, not just looks but accomplished adds to their allure. Her children, what we see of them always appear so respectful and supportive to their mom.
JR is married to Prune. Angie has been friends with the couple for many years.
OMG I still dress like that some days and I’m 34! Like, that’s my style – hair pulled back, comfy sweater/hoodies, jeans, and trainers. Having to dress more appropriatly for work kills my soul LOL

Yea, there seems to be a constant need to typecast Shiloh and what she is wearing. She’s a teenager, let her be.
Shiloh looks like such a blend of Angie and Brad, it’s really disarming.

Totally. It’s like looking at one of the pictures that you look at one way and you see one thing, then your vision adjusts and you suddenly see it was something else all along. It’s sort of fascinating. A super smile. They all look happy, so good to see.

Angie has always been a great beauty, but lately she’s looked incredibly gorgeous. Maybe because she’s at a really good place in her life.
I agree, she is glowing from the inside so that means she is in a happy place.
I hope she attends something at some point with a date or a friend instead of always the kids.

She’s a single mum with primary custody. I enjoyed going to things with my mum when I was younger and she loved taking me to them, perhaps her kids do too. I would 100% agree with you if it seemed like the kids didn’t have a choice or want – but the fact some go and some don’t kind of implies it’s up to them.
Anyway, she went to the Guerlain event with her godmother this week and her friends are often seen at premieres with her. This is also her friend’s event so she is there with her adult relationships just her teenage children joined.
Shiloh has Angelina’s whole face and Pax is very good looking.
They all look so happy. Shiloh is lovely and Pax is extremely handsome. His bone structure is amazing.
Pax would make an incredible model if he were taller.
I know I’ll be in the minority here, but I think it’s a little odd that she’s constantly bringing her kids to red carpets for work premieres. I get if they’d travel with her, or even go see the movies, but they don’t have to walk the carpets to do either of the other things.
If her kids are fine with it, who are we to judge? Maybe it makes her more comfortable. Maybe she’s helping them explore what they want to do as they are getting older and starting to think about these things. Maybe they’ve decided that they want to be with her and support her.
My mother was a single mother and took us to a lot of her work events (to the point that colleagues started to recognize us and we would often assist – like very small interns). It puts me miles ahead of my peers in terms of self possession and self awareness. I was very confident getting out there and interacting with professors and employers and other “leaders” because I’d gotten so much practice with my mother at her public/community facing roles from a young age.
Angie has been advocating for young people (and their sovereignty/autonomy) for quite some time, it’s only natural that she start with her own kids.
+1, agree completely! No harm including your kids as long as they are happy joining parents at events. Part of learning, building confidence, meeting people etc!
They don’t have to, so maybe they want to. That seems to be in evidence since this is the first one we’ve seen Pax at in I feel like over a year? All of them are definitely old enough to say no if they don’t want to go, so maybe they enjoy doing these specific types of things with their mom, that’s special.

I agree. She doesn’t seem to have any interest in adult relationships. Dates or friends, unless she’s already been in a romantic relationship with them. 🙂
What is odd? Her children appears happy & seems to be enjoying themselves , lucky them. They are at an age where they are developing, exploring, learning all sort of things, one way of building their confidence! Carry on Jolie family

They are old enough to decide if they want to go or not, and these events look like nice nights out.
no, they don’t “have” to, but clearly they want to. they’re not little kids who get tired easily or after a short time, or might get disruptive. if they want to go, and it’s not a premiere at like, an S&M club or some other place kids don’t belong, why does it bother you? it’s not like she’s dragging some very young, unhappy looking kids, like Tori Spelling does.
and, note please, that there are only two of the six kids, so she clearly didn’t force all of them attend. at least 3 (I’m assuming that Maddox is back at school) didn’t want to go and she didn’t make them.

so there are some adult relationships.
second, we have NO idea how she spends her time out of the public view. unless you’re her personal assistant, there’s no way you can state this with any kind of certainty. FFS, this woman was able to keep her double mastectomy and reconstruction a COMPLETE secret from the public until SHE was ready to talk about it in an op-ed. we really have no idea what she does when she’s not walking a red carpet or on set.

I just want to add to your comment that we also saw stories about her hanging out with an ex-husband. Just because Angie is not posting pictures of herself and her friends on Instagram doesn’t me she doesn’t have any.

to add on, Loung was at the LA Eternals premiere and mariane pearl visited her multiple times on set. She has a small group of friends. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t have any friends. It’s ridiculous people still harp on that
Lol the “brad” comments are hilarious. Love to see it.
Echoing what everybody else, she has adult friends and hangs out with them even publicly as we have seen. So why don’t we ever hear about it? Because in reality, the media, and even more so general audiences don’t care. They are more interested in her children. That’s why it’s reported on. I don’t think it’s necessarily deceptive in this case, it’s just a matter of them reporting what gets them clicks and what doesn’t. And unfortunately her hanging out with other adults isn’t as click worthy (unless it’s the weekend or her handsome Sherlock ex), but don’t believe that means she doesn’t spend time with them.
Adding to the comments… Just last month Angelina was also seen at Miyavi’s concert in LA.
In general I agree about celebrities and their kids, and have criticized Jolie and Pitt for it in the past, but IMO all of the kids are old enough now to decide what they want to go to and if they want to be photographed.
@kristin Yup it bothers me as well, mainly because of the reaction and comments I see them getting from strangers (here). I don’t think they are at the point they’ve made a conscious decision to be “famous”.

yes she does, it looks old and faded and seeing she looks completely chill about it (and the fact that she is not wearing any make up, neither to cover that or your typical teenage spots and whatnot..and might I add she is gorgeous without it), I don’t see what the big deal is.
