Dakota was in a ton of big productions before turning into a teenager. It only made sense and was her open choice to focus on having a more normal life. I find very positive that she resisted any temptation to prove for others she could translate her success as child actor to her adult career, and that she didn’t drag herself into a lifelong competition with Elle, of whom she has always been very supportive. Being gracious and honest to themselves -I guess having the right support system counts as well- would have avoided many dark moments for former child actors who get consumed by the need to keep the flame of external validation high!

It’s amazing that she and Dakota have been acting since they were children and are semi regularly visible on carpets or at events or in magazines and I know not one personal thing about either of them. Nothing. I guess it can be done

I don’t think she messed with her face surgically, but the angle and the five head made her look different, to me esp. Around the eyes? I don’t know

I’m skeptical of rude celebrity stories. Anyone who has worked in customer service knows how awful and entitled people can be. Imagine being a celebrity and having randos constantly demand your attention. I’m sure some celebrities are truly awful (like I absolutely believe that about Kris Jenner and JLo, but Johnny Galecki before he was even well known?) That said, the times I’ve run into celebs I’ve never talked to them. I don’t want to be disappointed. I ran into David Schwimmer at a theater one time during the height of friends. This was pre-camera phones so I couldn’t take a picture, but my friends and I giggled about it and had a story to tell for life.
I’ve seen Chevy Chase in action in person. This Buzzfeed story does not surprise me at all. He’s notorious.
I saw Kevin Bacon and his daughter Sosie in New York City. Everyone else was cool and didn’t gawk, but I kind of did anyway (but, of course didn’t bother them, I hope).
Jegede: I think I read somewhere that Elle just wants to be an actor or likes acting more than Dakota. I think she asks her agent to bring her more work or she just accepts more work.
I don’t like the neckline of this dress in her or the model. It looks like the top half of a mom one-piece swimsuit. Makes the chest look flat, and shoulders and arms look soft and large.
Her makeup is really pretty as is she.
