Radar Online has information about Sandra Bullock’s whereabouts that shows that she’s been able to hide from the paparazzi despite being the most in-demand star of the moment. Sandra was staying at the posh Beverly Hills Hotel, but took pains to avoid photographers. One paparazzo called her to a “celebrity Houdini.” She was known to have been at the hotel earlier in the week, although her current location is unknown. I think it’s somewhat safe to assume that all the paparazzi photos we’ve seen of Sandra since the scandal have been carefully orchestrated. I have a lot of respect for the way she’s handled this whole scandal. Even the photos we’ve seen of her have probably been pre-approved. I would have liked to have heard her condemn her husband’s behavior, but that’s just the part of me that’s out for revenge. She was classy yet open about it and I understand why handled it the way she did. She is one smart, and tough, cookie. Here’s the report from Radar:

Several sources told RadarOnline.com that Bullock spent days at the hotel, mostly staying out of sight and deliberately avoiding the paparazzi who are so desperate to photograph her in the wake of Jesse James’ cheating confessions on ABC’s Nightline.

“She’s become the greatest celebrity Houdini,” one photographer told RadarOnline.com. “She can escape from any situation – but she does it without being seen.”

There have been few photos of the Oscar-winning star since the revelation of James’ multiple affairs. And her public statements about her husband have been kind considering what he did to her. She filed for divorce in Texas.

The Beverly Hills hotel is exceptional at protecting the privacy of its guests, making it the bane of L.A.’s snap-hungry paparazzi. That protection coupled with the hotel’s luxury and private bungalows, make it an excellent choice for a celebrity like Bullock.

Her movements have been so secretive that all the paparazzi know for certain is she was there earlier in the week but they quickly lost her trail.

“She was there,” one source told RadarOnline.com. “But who knows, tomorrow she could turn up in New Orleans.”

Sandra could have been staying there in order to spend some quiet time with her stepchildren, who are still living with their dad, Jesse James. Star Magazine reports that she had lunch at the hotel with little Sunny, 6, on May 23. Their story about how Sandra brought gifts for Sunny is really sweet and tugs at my heart. They write “The gals, dressed alike in black-and-white outfits, laughed, hugged and played with a hot pink Etch A Sketch during the meal. At one point, Sunny even put her headband on her smiling stepmother!”

I just imagine Sandra having to give up a life with a little girl she helped raise and only getting a visit or two with her in the next few months. Jesse didn’t just betray Sandra by stepping out on her, he really denied his kids a life with the woman who had planned to be there for them as they grew up. He should be crying for Sunny over that, not for the fact that she’s the same age he was when he was allegedly abused. It’s all about Jesse, though, and how he’s supposedly hurting while he hurts everyone around him with his selfishness.
