Is Brooke Mueller still getting loaded?

Brooke Mueller made her first big red carpet appearance on Saturday for the annual Chrysalis Ball. She hasn’t been on a red carpet since Charlie Sheen beat the hell out of her on Christmas Day, and she’s definitely been keeping a low profile since Charlie’s PR team started going for her jugular in the press, releasing information about how Brooke did crack when she was pregnant (and drank alcohol too), as well as general sketchy stories about Brooke’s drug and alcohol abuse, and her sex life, throughout the years. They made Brooke sound like a total whackjob, so maybe it’s my jaded eyes looking at her now – but doesn’t she look loaded in these photos? Hey Brooke, how is that whole “rehab at home” thing going? Yeah.

Brooke Mueller attended the 9th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball Saturday — her first public event since her drama with Charlie Sheen.

“My best friend Rebecca Gayheart and I have been a part of this charity for several years and it’s a great cause,” she told UsMagazine.com.

She said her 1-year-old twin sons Max and Bob “are great.”

Asked if she has any summer plans, she told Us: “Not that I know of.”

Sheen, 45 — who was arrested Christmas Day following a fight with Mueller, 32, in Aspen, Colo. — is expected to plead guilty to a misdemeanor offense July 7.

HuffPo also points out that Brooke was not wearing her wedding ring, and E! News had a brief red carpet interview. Brooke told E! that she was at the event “because of my best friend, Rebecca Gayheart.” Oh, sh-t. Brooke and Gayheart are best friends? That explains a lot about both of them. Anyway, Rebecca Gayheart was cochair of the Ball, and Brooke claims that she also has worked with the charity before: “And I have also been a part of this charity for several years. It’s a good cause.” Brooke confirmed that she’s “doing fine… And the boys are great, thank you.” Her date was her publicist, and she didn’t answer any questions about Charlie.

Here are some more photos of Brooke, and of Rebecca Hayheart and WhatsHisFace – uh, Eric Dane. He looks like hell too. Who wants to bet that Eric, Rebecca and Brooke all get high and had a few drinks before coming to this thing?

every time i see Eric Dane,i think “if Leo Dicaprio was really manly,he could be this guy!”

Rebecca and her are good good friend?!

  2. Brandy Mc says:

    yep, that explains everything.

“Is Brooke Mueller still getting loaded?” It’s very hard to tell if someone you don’t know is high unless they are REALLY high. She doesn’t look really high to me but I don’t know her. I’m assuming that you don’t know her either so backka the f*ck up. I did however sell her some crack on the way out 🙂

You know, you can take the girl out of the ghetto however, you will never be able to take the ghetto out of the girl!

My personal opinion of Brooke is that she is a gold digging trash. I am not a huge Charlie Sheen fan either!

  5. lisa says:

I think she looks rather nice.. not “loaded” at all..but I am not a person that has first hand experience in these matters..

I guess I will leave the analysis to those who live that kind of life.

  6. Peanut says:

I kinda think she looks loaded.

  7. George says:

She is pretty much known for being a coke whore. I don’t seen how that’s changed. I can’t get it out of my head that her b/a level at Christmas was a .17, and Charlie’s was a .03. She was what, twice the legal limit, and he was less than half? Didn’t she have coke in her blood as well? Yup she is a mess, too bad for the twins. I read that she was doing drugs while she was pregnant. God, let’s hope that wasn’t true.

  8. BabyCakes says:

Birds of a feather…. if your bestie is a crackhead.. chances are you are too!

  9. Green Is Good says:

What’s this gold-digger need a publicist for? She’s a nobody. The only reason anybody knows her name is because she’s MRS. Charlie Sheen.

  10. happymom says:

BabyCakes-I was going to post the same thing. The fact that Rebecca Gayheart is her best friend is totally suspect. Ick. Those poor kids-I hope they all have wonderful nannies.

  11. Hautie says:

Here I was thinking how pretty Rebecca looked. And everyone one else is talking about coke. hahaha!

    Oh and this quote:

“every time i see Eric Dane,i think “if Leo Dicaprio was really manly, he could be this guy!”

    Amen!

I have never ever understood the appeal of Leo. It’s as if puberty never has fully arrived for him in the face.

But Eric Dane is hot when he has that beard/Vandyke fully grown in. Plus he has a great voice.

  12. bellaluna says:

I doubt Rebecca is doing drugs, as she’s nursing and struggled for many years with infertility. That kind of thing tends to clarify what’s important, and if it’s a choice between a baby you’ve waited years for or drugs, the baby wins hands down every time.

As for Brooke, everything I’ve read indicates at-home-rehab is ineffective; that, combined with reports of her drinking and drugging during pregnancy makes me think she’s still using.

@ carrie & Hautie – ITA about the Leo/Eric thing.

  13. LindyLou says:

Not trying to defend Brooke but as to the gold digging comments. I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that she was actually quite wealthy before she met Charlie. But I still think she’s a d-bag.

  14. Jo 'Mama' Besser says:

    Seconding LindyLou.

I don’t remember the details, but I think she’s an heiress of some sort. Typical ‘My Girl Wants to Party All The Time’ trust fund type of prolonged shenanigans with a long history of substance abuse and recidivism.

Oh, man. She must be off of it if she’s name-dropping the erstwhile Noxzema Girl-cum-vehicular homicidal Bloodshot-Eyed Becky and her consort Sir Pubes Face would act as a sort of boon. That’s not helping.

Clearly, it’s my own hangup after having been involved in two accidents (one left turn on a red, other a hit and run) by age sixteen, but I just can’t handle drivers who are sooooo important, with their time which is sooooo precious that’s they’ll flagrantly and repeatedly break the law and endanger children around them. Just thinking of the years of agony and discomfort, of all of the things that I enjoyed that became forbidden to me, the various brands of therapy and money on painkillers, the sub-dermal scar tissue running through my neck, shoulders and back, the limp, the sharp, sharp decline in quality of life for nothing–no compensation, no apologies, insurance companies trying to confuse kid out of her original police statements, not being able to go play at recess and just behind shut up with teachers and books when everyone else got to play…whatever, it goes on.
If you have issues that you have to address, fucking do it because I promise you that your dumbass problems aren’t worth the health, well-being or the life or a kid who has done nothing to you outside of be conceived or having the gall to sit motionless in a passenger’s seat while you had to divide and conquer all through the school zone because you’re just better.

Maybe whenever anyone displays lead foot or ingests too much of the good shit a special ‘Angry Mob SCRAM’ trigger should sham. Nothing more sobering than that.

  15. Wresa says:

‘Mama’ – I wouldn’t call any of that a “hang-up”, just speaking the truth! Not that my experience at all compares to yours, but I am a newspaper reporter and have had to go to the scene of bad accidents and seen the terrible result of a moment’s negligence, like texting or speeding. I never thought about it before I saw it firsthand, and I was one of those “I’m in a hurry!” people, driving VERY irresponsibly. But now I resist the urge to speed, or mess around with my iPod, or text because I understand that driving around a 4-ton vehicle is a life or death situation AT ALL TIMES. I have seen cases where people were hit at 30 miles per hour and died, it’s not just driving on the highway.

Showing or telling people the reality of a serious accident WILL save lives, and I do it whenever I can, even if I look preachy or macabre. I don’t want my friends or family to be hurt in an accident or worse, even if they roll their eyes at my lecturing!
