Call me crazy, but I think Amy Winehouse looks kind of good in these photos. Sure, her lips and her tittays are jacked, and yes, she still looks batsh-t crazy, but she also looks… sober. Relatively sober. Not falling-down drunk. The Daily Mail claims that this new and improved Sober Winehouse is because of her new boyfriend, Regg Traviss (photo below).
According to the Mail’s sources, Amy and Reg “get on brilliantly” when Amy is sober, but “Reg has told her to quit the drinking, otherwise he’ll be off. She wants to keep him so has decided to make a huge effort to stay sober.” Wow… that’s so not something Blake Fielder-Civil would ever say. Also, the Mail has a story about Amy getting heckled at some event, and she just walked away. Can you believe that? Instead of decking the guy or spitting on him or biting him, she just walked away! Ladies and gentlemen, the New and Improved Winehouse!
She may be healthier these days but Amy Winehouse showed she hasn’t lost her fiery, rebellious streak when she stormed out of an east London party last night. The 26-year-old singer turned up at the Reebok Lounge in Shoreditch with her cosmetically-enhanced chest shoehorned into a tiny black vest to collect four free pairs of trainers. But she left after barely two minutes when a fellow guest got her back up.
Winehouse was riled by the guest, at ViceStyle.com’s party, who asked her about her relationship with new boyfriend, film director Reg Traviss. An onlooker is said to have claimed: ‘She had been escorted inside the party and was happily choosing her freebies when a girl came up to her and started asking her about her relationship. Amy didn’t take kindly to this at all, gave her a filthy look and said, ‘I don’t have to put up with this’ before storming out. She had been there barely a few minutes but made sure she took four new pairs of trainers with her. The organisers were left somewhat in the lurch.’
Winehouse’s apparent good health has been attributed to Traviss, who was introduced to the singer by a mutual friend and lives near her Marylebone home. He has been described as sensible and mature, a far cry from her former husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who was jailed for assault two years ago.
In fact, Reg is said to have had such a positive influence on Amy that she is already talking about moving in with him.
An insider is reported to have said: ‘Amy and Reg are totally loved up. She doesn’t want to live [in her new mansion] on her own and would like Reg to share it with her. When she’s not on the bottle they get on brilliantly. But Reg has told her to quit the drinking, otherwise he’ll be off. She wants to keep him so has decided to make a huge effort to stay sober.’

The only thing I really know about Reg is that he already had a girlfriend – a burlesque dancer named Raven Isis because why not? – when he began dating Amy. But he promptly dumped Raven Isis for Amy, and now everybody’s happy right? How long do you give this relationship? My money is on less than three months.
Also – Amy even looks like she’s lost weight. Her skin has improved too. But those acid-washed jeans… yikes. Maybe Reg can work on her fashion next.

Amy Winehouse losing weight is NOT a good thing. She’s been a little scarecrow since right around Back to Black came out. She used to have such a nice figure, with a pretty decent rack too. Now she’s tits on a stick. Don’t applaud her for losing weight. This isn’t Kirstie Allie we’re talking about.

I was actually thinking that she had put back on a few much-needed pounds. Her face has lost that gaunt look. But I agree that her skin looks good, and that’s the thing you just can’t fake.

I’m just wondering why she took 4 pairs of “trainers” -as the Brits call running shoes – when all she wears are those dirty ballet flats. Ugh.
I agree she does look healthier…but for how long?? Call me skeptical but I can’t imagine her being able to keep this up forever.

I agree with KJ in regards to her weight. She had a beautiful body in the Frank album era. Full figured, but definitely not fat.
Here’s to hoping this new found sobriety sticks… her pupils do look a bit cracky (large) in that first photo though, so who knows.

MY GOSH SHE CONTINUES TO WEAR THOSE SHOES!!!! WTF? Of all the photos Ive seen of her in the past 2 yrs, Ive only seen her NOT wear those shoes in like, two occasions.
Anyways, she does look healthier and her new bf is really cute. I hope she goes back to making music and leaving drugs behind. Oh and I also hope she stops with her chola makeup. Get a styllist!!

Ashley I agree with you ! Reg Traviss finished a movie earlier these year and needs publicity. Mr. Traviss had some success with a JOY DIVISION’s documentary. Who knows that Reg is planning to make a documentary about Amy and find appropriate to be with her? Disgusting…
