Yesterday we heard a whopping fourth audio release in the “Mel Gibson is a raging abusive lunatic” saga. Mel raged and ranted at Oksana for falling asleep before she could give him a BJ. It was comical in a sick way, and I love how Michael K at D-Listed reported it: “Somebody Blow Mel Gibson Already”
Kaiser and I were wondering if yet another segment would come out this morning and if it would be worse than the last one. The answer is of course “Yes.” (Here’s a link to the audio of the tape.) Radar Online is putting out these releases every day and they keep getting crazier and more abusive. The question is – do we have yet another tape to look forward to tomorrow? I really hope not.
Here’s some relevant quotes from the audio in case you’re sick of hearing scary Mel scream and swear. (I felt bad listening to it around the dog!) The gist is that he’s blaming Oksana for taking his money and making him sell his Laker’s box and some art to make ends meet. He claims he’s spent more than $5 million on her career. I’m so sorry for poor broke Mel! Oksana also fights back much more than we’ve heard before. She calls his rants “bullshit,” tells him he’s “ruined her life,” and is “unstable,” and that he’s “destroyed her reputation” and is “the meanest person I know.” Then Mel gets really nasty. My stomach actually turned when he said “I’d like to show you what mean really is, b*tch, c*nt, wh*re!” He attacks her and says she’s an unfit mother and her son is a mess.
Screaming, snarling and panting Mel Gibson completely loses it in new audio obtained and released exclusively by RadarOnline.com.
“B*tch, c*nt, whore, gold digger,” Mel yells at Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of his eight-month-old daughter.
And in this, the 5th tape released by RadarOnline.com, Gibson comes unhinged and shockingly claims that he is broke. The star has made tens of millions of dollars during his Hollywood career, but yells at Oksana, “I don’t have any f*cking money!”
With eight children and an ex-wife who got a considerable divorce settlement, Gibson blames Oksana for driving him into dire financial straights, all while panting and seeming to be on the verge of hyperventilating.
“F*ckin’ user! You f*ckin’ used me! I will never forgive you!” he yells and then audibly pants for several seconds during his crazed tirade.
At one point, Oksana fights back and says, “You are very mean,” and this sends Mel over the edge again. He launches into a boiling mad diatribe, saying:
“Yeah, you know what mean is now, don’t you? So don’t call me mean when I’m nice to you. Because I’d like to show you what mean really is. B*tch, c*nt, wh*re, gold digger! All true! You f*cking proved it to me! If you’re ever interested in proving otherwise, let me know. If you don’t care, I know you know what you are too.
“Look at yourself. And look what you’ve done. Look what you’ve f*cking done! Look at your son. He’s a f*cking mess. You f*cking excuse for a mother. You’re a f*cking bitch!”
At another point in the call, Mel sounds completely unglued as the subject of his support for Oksana’s music career comes up.
“Say thank you!!! Say thank you now!!!!,” he demands while yelling at the top of his lungs.
In addition to the actor losing control of himself, the content of the new audio is shocking for his claims of desperate financial problems.
Mel says he needs cash so badly that he has resorted to selling some of his artwork collection. He also says he had to give up his Los Angeles Lakers tickets.
“I don’t have any f*cking money! I have to support you and everybody else! I have to sell paintings. I have to sell my box at the Lakers game,” Gibson screams.
And as Oksana argues and challenges him Gibson says: “Do you need to ask for that? When you know what kind of trouble I’m in!…
“I spent too much goddamn money on you! And my wife knows! It’s you!”…
But Oksana fights back on this newly released audio and at one points tells Mel: “I cannot be with somebody like this. You don’t love me. You don’t love me. This is not somebody that loves me. This is some completely off-balance person who absolutely hates me. Why do you hate me so much? What did I do to you?”…
Oksana refers to Mel being violent on this new tape as she discusses trying to build a better relationship between Mel and her son.
“Your relationship with Sasha is so f*cked up because of your violence,” Oksana tells Mel. “I was trying to make amends between you and him. Not make amends, be a diplomat between you and him.”
Sasha is the nickname for Alexander, Oksana’s son by actor Timothy Dalton…
Mel: You used me and you are telling me and proving to me what you were and what I suspected! F*ckin’ user! You f*ckin’ used me! I will never forgive you! (crazed panting)
Oksana: It’s bullsh*t.
Mel: I will never forgive you for what you’ve done to me you f*cking bitch! (out of control)
Oksana: You ruined my life! And you didn’t give me a penny.
Mel: You ruined MY life first! I ruined your life? How did I ruin your life? I gave you sh*t! You gave me nothing but f*cking grief! Alright? And bad publicity, you c*nt! How did I ruin your life?

There’s a story on TMZ that Mel’s lawyers are going to try and prove that these tapes are edited and are therefore inadmissible in their court case for custody of their daughter. Thanks to reader Kitten for pointing out that The Today Show had an audio expert on that showed that the tapes aren’t doctored. (Link leads to video) It’s not like there’s any technology in the world that can make it sound like someone is going off like that for that long a time period.
What is there to say about Mel Gibson at this point? Well he hasn’t killed anyone yet that we know of. His physical abuse of Oksana has yet to be completely proven, although he admits to it on tape. As Kaiser mentioned earlier, Oksana’s doctor allegedly has photos of her broken teeth and battered face that he took despite the fact that she didn’t want to document her injuries. Radar claims there are photos of Mel’s baby Lucia with a bruise on her chin that was allegedly inflicted by Mel. That would be incredibly hard to prove, considering that babies and toddlers get bruises for all sorts of reasons. Still I wouldn’t want that evil rageaholic around my pets, not to mention my children. I hope that custody is speedily denied, and that he’ll have to pony up a lot more money than just the $5 million he claims he spent on Oksana’s career. The abusive mean batsh*t crazy a**hole is a billionaire.
This is what gets me. Mel is upset that she won’t give him a BJ because she falls asleep but at the same time, she is a new mother and maybe, just maybe, she is fatigued.
If it wasn’t so insane, this scenario would be hysterically funny or the subject of a SNL “I want my BJ before bed!” skit or something.
The way Radar is stringing each tape release is interesting, only because I’m wondering if Mel will blow a gasket. What happens if he does something insane. Do Radar Online take responsibility for that?
I’m not listening to Mel on my laptop anymore. Two of my cats’ ears pricked up and they didn’t like his rage.

I had a dear loved one died by his own hand due to bipolar disorder and family disfunction. Please don’t let anyone die over this. It is horrific and truly does “trigger” good strong victims who have or are overcoming trauma. Media and bloggers need to push back, I think. This case shouldn’t be tried in the press.
She set the whole thing up. She taped him and then instead of giving the tapes to the police she gives them to Radar Online. This opportunist is hoping for a big payday. Mel is lonely and drunk, upset about her rejection of him. She is deliberately staying calm in a rehearsed and fake manner to get him as angry as possible. She seems disconnected from him in her manner of speaking. He’s no angel but he’s lashing out in rage and frustration and in the heat of anger, saying anything that comes to his mind. I notice his only concern is his little daughter.

I pray that she gets sole custody because he will ruin that child. He already thinks women are nothing but the scum of the earth, chances are strong he will treat his daughter in the same manner.

I must point out again, if you love your children and want to protect them from things, why would you be with a man like this after his true colors started showing some time ago? Am really bored of these whole concocted and edited tapes saying the same thing just to nail Mel. Physical abuse is not acceptable under any circumstances, though many times I have wanted to toss an Acme Corporation anvil at someone.
I have been lucky to have only known one person with a vile temper, and I usually manage to avoid that person. I have simply walked away from others throwing a regular temper tantrum, even in an office situation. People tend to shut up if you leave them by themselves. I either avoid people who are prone to temper outbursts, or I am around people who keep their tempers well-hidden.
This man has lost his damn mind, and that the only way he could come off more racist would be if he were wearing a white hood and holding a burning cross.
That aside, I can not wrap my brain around the fact that he is ‘broke’, how in hell could a person blow through the kind of money he had? This. From up thread, is why I support freedom of speech on a show called the View. It rankles that this poster is making GROSS mis-statements taken out of context, where she would be SUED for DEFAMATION if she were a known person instead of on the internet. I generally agree with Whoopi’s views, and I appreciate that her views seem at times radical. She seems to be a person who may have read the book Radical Forgiveness, for example, because I was heavily influenced by that book. So to say that she glorifies pedophiles is an extreme, horrific, awful untruth. America allows for that freedom of speech, and that is what I stand for. And also Whoopi, I think.

In Australia, there is an actor defending Mel Gibson (actor is John Jarratt) and essentially saying that Oksana is to blame. Nevermind the horrendous words, slurs and violence Mel implies through his verbal threats. So, are these tapes all of phone conversations? Was it more than one occassion? Was it from one long night of taping? Was she seperated from him at this time already? I’m confused why she would listen to his rants and not just hang up the phone, or why she would call him if that’s the case…
I agree with the people saying that if Mel did in fact harm the baby as she so claims, she should have immediately run to the police tapes in hand and filed a restraining order. Abuse is serious no matter what form it takes.

Erin, I’ve been thinking the same thing – making the tapes public and showing everyone how he really is gives her much more protection than going to the police and getting a restraining order ever could. He can’t touch her now, because everyone is watching.

Robyn was married to Mel for a long time, taking care of their many kids (and him) while he made millions. I believe she was entitled to whatever money she got from that divorce, especially when we now see what she was probably putting up with.
I feel very sorry for all the kids involved – Mel & Robyn’s, Oksana’s son (agree that his dad should try for custody, at least temporarily) and for Mel & Oksana’s daughter.

from someone who has ‘survived’ emotional and mental abuse, what i have to say is, i did lose a tiny little part of myself, thankfully i had more than enough to survive….thank the powers that be for that….i’m grateful…but don’t we all want to be ‘whole’ yes, but i’m an optimist….and please forgive me for this….i am still with my abuser….But he was abused as a child….and i think i have helped him to heal, and i n the process i am healing/healed as well….god bless us all….and please be good parents…i had a wonderful childhood, but he had alot! of pain.
I’M NOT BLAMING THE VICTIM! But based upon the excerpts from this latest tape it sounds like neither Mel nor Oksana should have custody of their baby. Mel has “issues” with Sasha, but Oksana doesn’t send him to live with his father full time. I think we’d all like to know if she discussed the alleged situation with Dalton. And Radar has an item that claims Mel bruised the baby months ago. But Oksana continued to allow him to spend time with her alone, including while she left the country to promote her Mel-financed “music career” in Russia. There are just too
many unanswered questions about the safety of these two children. Mel and Oksana’s lawyers are in court today (7/15) to discuss the issue, and I wish Child Protective Services would step in and take custody of the baby and award temporary full time custody of Sasha to Dalton.
It’s probably a good thing for Oksana that the tapes are inadmissible as evidence in court because some of what’s been recorded could come back to bite her in the butt, hence the Miranda warning: You have the right to remain silent. “Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.”
Robyn presumably has signed some confidentiality agreement. Because I am *really* interested in what she has to say. Poor woman.
Ugh, the “Thank you” part –
Had an ex who I had to thank every time we went anywhere. We were both working and making money and living together and paying bills together, but if he was the one who happened to physically pay the cashier for whatever, he would flip out if I didn’t thank him. I wasn’t rude, it was like eat dinner, talk, pay, keep chatting, laughing, walk outside, he FLIPS OUT the second we get to the parking lot, “You are so ungrateful! @#$$%#$@#$ thank me! Thank me now!” Um, OK, I was going to when there was a break in the conversation to put our seatbelts on, psycho. And you paid with the debit card from joint checking, so FU. I start thanking him for stuff that hadn’t happened yet just to cover my butt and avoid getting screamed at.
And it just gets worse from there. If it happens to you, consider it an early red flag and GTFO.

The owner of Radar Online was on the Howard Stern radio show this morning. Some interesting stuff he revealed:
1. Radar didn’t pay a dime for these recordings.
2. He wouldn’t name names, but said that the recordings were given to Radar by someone other than Oksana.
3. He said that the source who gave him the tapes was given the footage by Oksana, who started taping Mel’s phone calls in January after he punched her in the face. She was afraid he was going to kill her. She recorded the calls so that if anything happened to her, there would be evidence of what he was really like.
4. Oksana and Mel are in the middle of a huge custody battle and Oksana doesn’t want him anywhere near their daughter.
i really can’t engage anymore with people who say she must have provoked him, or she’s just as bad as he is, or the classic, “why didn’t she just leave if he’s so awful?” so i decided to let the numbers make my point. according to the FBI uniform crime index report & the US dept. of justice statistics:
7% of women (3.9 million) are physically abused by their partners.
95% of assaults on spouses or ex-spouses are committed by men against women.
30% of women presenting with injuries to the emergency department had injuries caused by battering.
From 7% to 23% of pregnant women are abused.
42% of murdered women are killed by their intimate partners.
30% of women presenting with injuries to the emergency department were identified as having injuries caused by battering.
i don’t have the statistic but i remember from demographics class in college that battered women are actually more likely to be killed AFTER they leave their violent partners, with the highest risk being the first 2-3 months after they leave.

Too all the people that say that “why is she taping these phone calls,” Well in court it is all about proof and not hear say. The Judge is not going to care about anything that you can say, unless you have evidence to back it up. First thing your lawyer advices you is to tape the conversations. Although they are rarely admissible in court. But she needs proof that this man is absolutely crazy and the way he yells and pants and the vile insults and threats, it is very scary. Unless you have been in a similar situation you really can not understand how difficult it is to just up and leave. It’s easy to judge when you are not emotionally attached to the “abuser”.
Violence is wrong, but I still can’t help but wish Timothy Dalton would knock his friggin’ lights out. I doubt Mel laid a finger on the boy, but he is a bastard for making that boy feel helpless to protect his mother.

If it was, we would have heard for a very long time incidents of him with anyone, everywhere. Alcohol doesn’t discriminate victims.
Mel rants, insults and violence (physical and verbal) are conveniently ALWAYS, ALWAYS directed to specific groups or to females and children…Never EVER did he got physically or verbally iNTO troubles with a MAN, never.

How many more tapes can there be? At a certain point I hope people stop caring to listen. I know I have. Unless a tape comes out with Mel acknowledging he is a bigoted and vile being, then I won’t really be shocked by any other tapes.
I think that most are listening to these tapes with the viewpoint of the “abused” (as many have pointed out they have been abused themselves). Try to put aside your preconceptions of Mel. Try to put into perspective that you do not know what really happened. Try to stop assuming facts that are not in evidence to build up your theories. Then listen to the tapes as if you were investigating the incident and the motivation. Looking at things from another viewpoint might shock you. If you like theories and fantasizing about what happened try this.
Oksana did her best for the three years to reach a vulnerable idiot of an asshole, to suck him in (literally), get with child and try to get that ring on her finger. Use him for her career. After she has tried her best she fails and he bluntly tells her no marriage and btw Im over this relationship, I’ve blown my marriage etc. She mediates custody and AGREES to a settlement. Mel wants his daughter for FATHER’S day and then Oksana blows up and goes for the “other type of golden ring” Full custody and MUCH more money. Golddigger that she is, she has planned for her payoff. She had already MONTHS EARLIER (when Mel BROKE UP WITH HER) orchestrated violent arguments, recorded them, knocked her own veneers (it was NOT HER TEETH!) a bit or even yes incited Mel to a violent reaction by shaking her baby and he tries to stop her.
Now she is in for the long haul. Big money payoff, ruin Mel, show him how a little golddigger can ruin his life and run with the money and the kid.

I suppose I can SORT OF get on the “oskana is a schemer” bandwagon when I consider the fact that she did indeed create a direct line of danger for her children that lasted longer than it should have….HOWEVER some of you, I think, need to do some research about victims of abuse, because as soon as I consider those facts I lose that opinion pronto. When someone is abused, it is very commonplace that they are led to beleive they/their children would be killed if they ever attempted to leave (don’t let his billowing “GET THE F*CK AWAY FROM ME”s fool you…I wouldbt be surprised if he said that every day)…not to mention the ways in which one’s mind may become warped upon undergoing abuse, like believing the abuser ACTUALLY does own you and your life, you do deserve the treatment, and no one will ever help or want you again. Not to mention, this is Mel Gibson we’re talking about – I’m sure she thought if she dared to leave, his team would destroy her life and any chance for taking part in her child’s life…if she thought she would actually have a life to ruin, that is. When my ex brother in law ranted n raved to my sister, i was against all his cruelty, but my sister would provoke him b4 taping him, she would snicker n pull fingers right b4 pressing rec. He lost all to her & because she constantly cheated on her, in his moment of passion n anger he said cruel things but in no way was he a bad person. Then again, there’s many people out there whom do this n are actually abusive too.

I couldn’t agree with you more. In addition to really putting Mel Gibson on “the hot seat”, Oksana just may be joining him. By releasing these tapes, she may have forced Timothy Dalton to throw his “hat in the ring” and she may not like the outcome. If she and Lucia were in constant danger, why didn’t she do more to protect Sasha? She had another home that was not controlled by Mel Gibson which would have enabled her to leave him and shelter her children. If necessary, I can’t imagine Timothy Dalton not opening his home to her and her children in London. When a woman is putting the safety of her children first, she does whatever she feels is necessary to protect them. Why protect an alleged abuser when you know that he despises you unless you have another agenda? It wouldn’t surprise me, if uh huh’s assessment isn’t closer to the truth. It’s a gradual brainwashing process. Abusers come of as too good to be true at first, then wear down your self-esteem, separate you from your support system, make you feel like you deserve it, and it just escalates from there. There isn’t a day where it goes from “He’s great!” to “He’s horrible!” An abuser waits to hit until he knows you’re too afraid to do anything about it. And the first couple times he’s going to apologize, then buy you flowers, then expect you to thank him for the flowers.
They both look really creepy in that photo.
The funny thing is if Gibson died next week the media would go into overdrive with the Mel Gibson tributes and portray him as some sort of saint just like it did with Michael Jackson.

But you are ignoring the point that this situation does not appear to be unilateral-abuse has no justification.
