Kate Hudson, like all of us, seems to be fighting with multiple personalities. In one instance, she wants to get in touch with her inner teenager, but in another she’s a mom, and really likes it.
“There are a lot of gossips who like to think that I’m a snogger, but I’m pretty prudish,” says Kate Hudson. “I need to find that 18-year-old in me again, who was way more adventurous when it came to kissing boys. I’m not really like that any more.”
“I would love nothing more than to have a good, honest make-out sesh,” she admits with winning candour, “but I find it really hard, because I’m a mom, and I have no interest in being someone who is out, acting at all like that.”
“I’m a mom and that’s my first priority. There are a lot of people who say, ‘Do you know what I did for you? Have you any idea about the things I gave up?’ I could never be like that. I can’t wait to have more. I’m at that place when I’m ready to have another one and Chris and I are not together. I’m like, ‘Oh no! Uh-oh! I’m ready.’ ” As for dating as a single mum: “Any guy I ever meet is always going to come second to my son,” she says. “And you get to weed out the boys from the men. You definitely know which ones are the boys.”

Kate obviously finds dating as hard as the rest of us. She’s looking for a man to father a child, but practicing the dating antics of an 18-year-old. Not many men who like to snog (and still call it snogging) are looking to be parents anytime soon!
Kate split from her husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes in 2006, and has a 4-year-old son from her marriage.
Kate is also hoping to make another production – a third film co-starring Matthew McConaughey. The two previously starred together in How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days, and currently in Fool’s Gold.

What I get from that quote … isn’t that she wants to snog guys … but that she doesn’t cause she’s a mom. and furthermore… who says snogging isn’t for parents? I mean… once you have a kid is making out with a guy like off limits. Im assuming even men who are man enough to be a father figure or father a child will still snog your brains out… just maybe not at random in the back corner of a club or something…

I’ve always thought they are still sleeping together between her boyfriends.

Those who think snogging is not for parents should consider the way you become parents in the first place.
This almost sounds like a reverse Madonna/Child syndrome. And it sounds as if she thinks Chris is the possessor of the only sperm in the world.
I’m betting on a reconciliation too.

It kinda makes some weird sense though. If you want another kid, the ex is a good co-parent with the one you have and neither one of you is seriously dating someone, why not?

The closest I want to get to my ex is with a knife. But I’m not sure you can have a decent mother-daughter relationship if you kill a girl’s father.

Has anyone else noticed how old Kate looks on the red carpet? She looks so young and earth-motherish on her own, but not with all the makeup on.

Okay, I call crap on the “quote”. Looks lifted from Daily Mail, since it’s in localese (British). She doesn’t talk like that. The Mail always makes up its own quotes and doesn’t do a very good job at it either.
