This is neither here nor there regarding her sexuality but she is an absolutely TERRIBLE actress. Awful. I have no idea how on earth she ever gets cast in anything.

She’s got a point in that it’s nobodys business but her own who she sleeps with. But I wish she’d have changed topics after saying that….the more she talks the more it sounds like a ‘protest too much’ situation.

I have to say that I totally agree with her even though she could have put it in better words.

    um, no.
michelle, honey, if you were effing dogs that would be our business because you’d be abusing a helpless animal.
but the rest of what you said is true. your vagine is your business. this world is overly preoccupied with sex in a way that is totally NOT SEXY…

I agree with Michelle. It is NO ONES DAMN BUSINESS. She spoke the way I would, especially with the photographers, journalists, & bloggers. When people ask other people personal questions, what gives them the right?

I think most men do consider the f***ability question and beauty has little to do with it. They’ll look at woman, consider her ugly but f***able if they feel like it, if they feel like they can get away with it, if they feel she’s desperate enough, and likes them and they feel like they can get a free f*** out of her. F***able does not equate to respect, like, love, caring, courtesy, kindness, or anything decent. There are men like that unfortunately.
I agree with her, although I may be projecting my own anger, bitterness, and cynicism about men these days. Still I’ll bet there’s cause for her anger. Maybe that’s just me…

i think what she says-first part of the post especially, is right. you look at many other blogs and thats how women are talked about. gotta give her kudos for saying that-because even saying that would land a hollywood actress in hot water with the media.

Let’s be fair. People wonder what stars do in private because of the many times they’ve been startled by revelations about what they do in private.

People are just as fascinated with the disparity between public image and private reality as anything else. Mostly they just want to know if their suspicions are true. It’s like Celebrity CSI, or something – just follow ‘the evidence’.

The thing with Michelle is that she always seems to come off as terminally defensive and THAT’S what sparks people’s radar. I get that that’s how some actors react to intense speculation and media intrusion – but she always seems as if she’s ready to throw down and kick someone’s ass.

Maybe all this posturing is just a front for a vulnerable and sensitive centre, but she might want to know that it just makes people think she’s got more to hide.

Also, it seems that you can’t be a woman in Hollywood and be a tomboy unless you keep the regular company of handsome men. I mean, since when does not wanting to play the glamour game always equal lesbian? It’s silly, and it’s usually an implied accusation levelled at women deemed ‘too manly’ either for their physiques, looks, opinions, or lack of designer shoes – see Alicia Keyes, Ellen Page, Jessica Biel.

It’s a bit insidiously coercive, imo.

The lady doth protest too much, and the bathroom not bedroom doors comment was interesting.

I can’t tell if I love her independent girl spirit, or if she’s just impossible and unreasonable.

And the slime thing sounds weird.

I just watched the first Fast and the Furious, and, wow, she has cleaned up. She looks a whole lot better.

I agree with you Francesca…I think the fact that she’s constantly on the defense, fending off rumors FEEDS the media/public curiosity more than it helps. It seems that with celebrity, there is a healthy medium that can be reached if you don’t give too much private information away (think Ronson/Lohan & their constant myspace updates) & then there are couples who have dated for years and not once commented on their relationship which is a bit odd when you’re in the public eye. Some celebrities are able to find that balance after they become seasoned to their time in the spotlight…kind of a ‘live and learn’ situation. I think Michelle will find her peace with it and balance in time. I think she’s an amazing actress…seems to put a lot into her roles and commitment to her work so I can see her staying in the business for a long time.

As far as her standpoint in the article about men looking at women like her and judging them solely on ‘fuckability’…she’s dead-on. Look around the net at some of the male-centric blogs and what 80% of the men say about tough chicks like Michelle. A lot of them express this absolute disgust…and of course they are all peppered with the “i’d hit that” comments. They use her [assumed] sexuality as an insult or to demean/discredit her…example (saw this one plenty of times)…”she’s a fugly lez” or “I’d like to slap that pissed off dyke look off her face.” Says a lot for our society, doesn’t it? My own husband acts unconsciously and inexplicably jealous or threatened by her when I say something about her being a badass while watching a movie she’s in. It’s what got the wheels turning on Hmmm ya know what?! Some [a LOT] of men are completely threatened/intimidated/turned off by a dominant female with reversed gender roles. It’s interesting, really. I could do a whole study on it ;-)

No one cares about your vagina Michelle. You’re not even remotely as “f**kable” as you think you are so lets just put that one to rest okay. People just want to know why you’re so overly aggressive and masculine. Not that you can’t be any orientation that you want- but such ‘f*ck norms’ gusto usually leads to people wondering. No one’s demeaning her by wondering if she’s a lesbian. When you’re in the public eye, you get talked about. It’s just a question.

Regardless, I think she’s a tad too angry, crass, and unrelenting for someone with so very little talent. You have to at least get the food first before you can even pretend to bite the hand.

  15. Personal choices are a very important a part of selecting bathroom doors. What suits the bathroom and fit, what style 1 wants, there’s a large number of options to be produced, and not 1 of them ought to be made hastily. The bathroom doors style choice can be produced by either purchasing it shop produced in a DYI store, or getting a contractor who will construct it for 1.
