American Idol judge Simon Cowell and his girlfriend of over five years, TV presenter Terri Seymour, have broken up over cheating rumors and Simon’s refusal to get married, claims the National Enquirer. 33 year-old Terri was hoping that Simon, 48, would marry her eventually and have children. After hanging around waiting and hearing rumors that he’d been cheating with other women, she decided that she’d had enough and called it quits. Terri moved out of the mansion they shared and now has her own house. They managed to break up under the radar, and sources say that Simon wants Terri back but that he’s not about to change his roving ways and marry her:
The couple’s secret split came after several reports that Simon had cheated. In 2006, a British publication reported that Simon was seeing model and sociality Jasmine Lennard.
Then last summer, The Enquirer revealed Teri was rattled by rumors that Simon was fooling around with a woman associated with “American Idol.”
Simon wants Terri back, and some insiders say he may be able to talk his way out of trouble again. But the friend added he’s going to have a tough time because “Terri felt that if Simon wasn’t going to settle down by now, it was never going to happen.”

You can tell that Simon is a big flirt, and although the British press is notorious for making up stories he definitely could have cheated. The woman he was said to have cheated with in the summer of 2006 was photographed leaving his home in the morning at a time when Terri was away. Simon has been very outspoken about not wanting a family, and Terri told People Magazine last year that she rarely talks to him about children and when she did bring it up he told her to buy a turtle. She said it didn’t bother her at the time, but that she did want children eventually. It’s not like she was going to get anywhere by hanging around waiting. If she has her own house now they probably have broken up, but we’ll have to see if they make any appearances together or any kind of statement about it.

She is a silly woman. The man has stated for years that he does not want to marry or have children and with his personality, I’m having a hard time believing any woman would think he would make a good father.
She was in some serious denial.

Terri here is some ‘Mommy’ theology for you: If a man says he doesn’t want you any more, BELIEVE HIM. If a many says he doesn’t want to marry you, BELIEVE HIM. If a man says he doesn’t want to have children with you BELIEVE HIM.
Against that backdrop, Terry girl, get to stepping and move on so you can have your dreams.

I agree, silly to stay with him when he’s made it perfectly clear he does not want a family. And it would be terrible for him to have a family he doesn’t want. She should just be grateful he was honest about it, and move on to someone with the same goals as she has.

It is now a month later and, yes, Terri and Simon are still together. And, yes, yet another example of the Nat’l. Enquirer’s complete lack of credibility. Their motto must be “all the news that’s fit to print… and anything else we feel like making up as we go along”!

If Simon isn’t as phobic as he is when it comes to being a ladies’ man, he SHOULD go out with Paula by now. Heck, he should have been going out with Paula 7 years ago. If he doesn’t see this opportunity to ask her out, screw him then.

Simon should get rid of her, I have had 1st hand experience dealing with Terri and she is the rudest thing I have ever encountered, just an awful person. She is getting a little long in the tooth also, Simon can do much better.

Dear Terri first of all I told you so then You were always alone anyways.Simon was a drag left you alone all the time.I saw you and spent more time when I worked for you than he did?You were a bit bitchy at times and hard to get along with but he was the shits.We talked alot and just as I split with my ex wife Ester,I knew you would dump him.To bad it was lter than earlier but better later than never? I think simon could do a lot better than Terri. He should give it a shot with Paula Abdul because I think that they are a better match. But I think people should just shut up and leave Simon to get on with his life- how would you like it, if someone was saying you were an idiot. I love you Simon. I will always be on your side and the rest of Scotland is too!!

Move on Terri. He is getting too old to have a child and be there for it down the road. Also can you imagine the self esteem issues he would create for a child living with his tongue. Ouch!
