Lindsay Lohan flunked her drug test, had cocaine in her system (updates)

This is what happens when CB is all “take the rest of the afternoon off!” and I’m all “Hey, I wonder if I can catch a matinee of The Town.” Just so you know, it was totally worth the four bucks. And I don’t regret missing this story, but I am chuckling with the richness of the schadenfreude. It seems our sweet little innocent crackhead actually tested POSITIVE for drugs last week, during her court-ordered, very mandatory drug testing.

Lindsay Lohan has failed a drug test in her criminal case … TMZ has learned. We’re told the court-mandated drug test in question occurred last week. According to the terms of Lindsay’s probation, she will get 30 days in jail for a positive drug test.

One source connected with Lindsay tells TMZ … “People with addiction problems don’t get better magically, and she’s really been making an effort to make herself better.”

And D.A. spokesperson Sandi Gibbons tells TMZ her office has not been “officially notified” of the test results and no court date has been set yet.

Sources close to Lindsay tell us she is saying it’s not true — insisting she has not failed, but we have confirmed it is indeed true.

Lindsay Lohan tested positive for cocaine last week and that is why she failed her drug test … sources tell TMZ

Sources close to Lindsay say she’s been telling friends she’s “getting her life together.” However, we’re also told, she’s surrounded herself with some “bad influences.”

[From TMZ]

Sounds about right. Flunked a drug test, tested positive for cocaine while still on probation and Blohan is still in f-cking denial. Much like the cokepants, I’m assuming that Lindsay’s excuse will be THAT WASN’T HER PISS!!!! Can’t you just hear it now? I patiently await Mother Crackhead to breeze out and tell us all how it’s a huge conspiracy and how she’s personally going to get Lindsay’s urine FIRED. Sigh… I wish Judge Marsha was around right now. I would buy her a drink. Someone take away Lindsay’s car keys though – when she finds out she’s going back to jail for 30 days (or minutes, whatever), she’s going to run down another baby.

UPDATE: People Magazine’s sources are saying that Lindsay failed the drug test too – and when almighty People Mag reports it, your firecrotch is in big trouble, bitch. People’s source also says the failed test happened “in recent days.” The DA has no comment, and neither does Lindsay’s poor lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley. Meanwhile, Lindsay gave her official statement to Us Weekly: “I’m fine.” When asked about TMZ’s reporting, she said: “They’re all nuts.” And then she noticeably sniffed and rubbed herself and started playing with her swollen lips, looking shifty, and said, “Hey, do you know where I can score around here?” You know I’m right. And Lindsay’s OTHER lawyer (?) Ed MacPherson tells Us Weekly, “I have no idea at this point whether or not there is any merit to this.” Let go and let God, Ed.

UPDATE: Early this morning (or late last night), TMZ updated their story on Blohan, saying that their sources are now claiming she failed at least TWO drug tests, and that she likely tested positive for cocaine once, but the other failed test came back positive for something else (CRACK?!?). Also – TMZ is playing the world’s tiniest crack violin for Lindsay’s career, saying that there is no way her new judge, Elden Fox, is going to let her leave LA to shoot Inferno, nor do any of the “career comeback” things she had lined up. No out-of-state travel for Firecrotch. Also: probably no one will ever insure her again. But the real dramz went down on her Twitter:

[From Lindsay Lohan’s Twitter]

CB doesn’t even think Lindsay wrote that – and I agree. “Taking responsibility” isn’t in The Lohan Lexicon. And this came just hours after Blohan DENIED that sh-t to Gossip Cop and Us Weekly. So her first instinct is always to fall into her comfort zone of crack lies, and now she’s going with her second instinct: make herself the victim. Oh, pity poor Lindsay. It must be so difficult to be a cokehead with a Maserati, forced to drive around hitting babies.

Go directly to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.

  2. Bodhi says:

AHAHAHAHA! Awesome! But I bet it will take ages to get the hearing set & more ages (I know that sounds dumb) to get her stupid ass actually in jail…

    But still… AHAHAHAHA!

  3. Lauri says:

Why am I not even remotely surprised? I hope she has to serve her time without special treatment & privileges.. hopefully one day she will straighten out.

  4. me2also says:

It’s mean but this just made my day. I feel for the girl but she is the cause of her problems. Eh, she will just get a slap for this and she’ll be dead by 30.

  5. Innocent says:

    Why?
I can’t believe she would be so stupid when she would have been free on November 1st.
If she actually spends the max amount of time in jail (2 weeks) it will be hard with no scripts. I bet Shawn will be pissed and won’t visit her every day like the last time after she fought so hard to get her out of jail and rehab.

  6. normade says:

    There goes the SNL gig…hahahahahahaha!

  7. Bella Mosley says:

She probably just thought it was gum.

    LOL

  8. Bodhi says:

Um… max time would be 30 days, not 14

  9. Butch says:

wow. i can’t belive she’s that stupid. coke usually leaves your system in 72 or so hours. was the test random? i think i read it was scheduled so …im pretty sure it’s not true. great to generate some press though…

  10. jen says:

And this is supposed to be surprising…how? What WOULD be surprising is if she actually DOES go to jail. I’m poor as dirt but I’ll wager anything ya want, come on, takers? Anyone? 😉

  11. jen says:

@ Innocent – I can’t believe you can’t believe she would be so stupid 😉

  12. Katalina76 says:

I can hear it now:”It was a prescription!! I needed it to numb my lips from the all the fillers I just had pumped into them!!!!!”

It really says a lot about how I feel about her sense of entitlement that I was THRILLED to hear this.

  13. lola lola says:

What a waste she is. All those amazing opportunities and this is what she does. Sad. Very sad.

  14. Eileen says:

I’ve got my Bic App flaming on my iphone in one hand (since I don’t own a real lighter) and a rainbow colored fuck you nail waving on my other hand! Way to walk that straight line, dumbass!

  15. LOVE ANGELINA says:

I tend to believe TMZ but I find it strange that that D.A hasn’t even been notified and the test happened last week. The D.A. should have been the first to know. What does that say about our legal system? I hope that it isn’t true and that LL has kept clean. I like TMZ but even they can mess up a story sometimes.

  16. Lukie says:

I guess she missed the rush of the adderal (sp?).

  17. lisa says:

Wow.. another example of her not getting what she deserved.. If she had done the mandatory 90 days in jail and 90 day in rehab then maybe she would have done better and actually worked the program. Instead of getting out and going back to the same life, same people, same situations.. Sad..

She has so many things she can do and this is how she handles all the opportunities thrown her way.

    I just shake my head.

  18. me says:

The drug tests are NOT scheduled to ensure she doesn’t try to mask or subvert the test. Failure to show up is considered a positive. So who knows if she even took the test? Guess we will find out next week.

  19. original kate says:

    shocker.

  20. Disco says:

“your firecrotch is in big trouble, bitch”

    Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

This is just great. Love it.

  21. OtherChris says:

People out there are going bankrupt and losing their homes. They have sick kids. EVeryone has problems. This bitch created her own. I used to feel sorry for her but now I just hope she rots in jail. She’s a waste of resources.

  22. Rita says:

There’s a perfectly good explanation for this and you all should not “rush to judgement”. I have it on good authority that Lelo’s urine sample was transported to the lab in Paris’ purse. You know what they say about Tampons, “If it doesn’t fit, you must aquit!”

  23. Hautie says:

Well so much for all those denials from White Oprah.

It really is hard to blame a bad piddle test on anything but the coke she snorted.

  24. Chessie says:

So does this explain why she went to NYC against her parole conditions… she had already blown it (pardon the pun) so going out of state wouldn’t matter?

  25. Jean says:

“The Jail Dairies Part 2: Return of the firecrotch.”

  26. CA says:

AHHH!!! TMZ is reporting that she failed more than one drug test, and each failed drug test could result in 30 days in jail. What a dumbass!! What did she think was going to happen? The drugs just wouldn’t show up…

  27. lucy2 says:

Alright, who had 3 weeks in the betting pool?

Somewhere, Judge Revel is writing “told you so beyotch” on her fingernail.

Clearly she should have done the full rehab, and taken this seriously. Adios to any legitimate work she was trying to line up.

  28. albeli says:

    Gee, how shocking.

  29. Miss says:

Classic Lindsay. Would we want her any other way?

  30. Shelley says:

I think this is incredibly sad. No one is ensuring she gets the rehab she is screaming out for. Not one person nor one authority. She needs to be far from Hellywood and be with decent people who can help her discover who she would be now if she’d never been dragged into acting as a child by her horrendous mom, and hopefully help and encourage her to become that person, learn that career, etc, and never go back to acting. I honestly think that’s her only chance.

Having said that, I’m even sadder for however many hundreds of people have been endangered by her driving DUI/DWI in the days since she left her psuedo-rehab. If she tested positive once, then she was no doubt positive on far occasions during that time than just Pee Day.

  31. jemshoes says:

    Anyone of us surprised? No.

  32. Dhavy says:

Well I guess getting in trouble while being a blonde only theory is out the window.

  33. Kaboom says:

    LA jail or actual confinement?

  34. PsychicEyes says:

We really have to cut this girl some slack because having her parents I would seriously start smoking some bad shit just to forget them. Who does she really have as a role model? Probably no one just enablers and users. If you grew up in this manipulative mess then you just can’t expect to turn a “new leaf” in 30 days. The best thing that the legal system can do for this girl is have her live with a down-to-earth family for indefinately plus some substance treatment program. She needs to develop some good values and receive lots of love and support. BTW, why can’t she get her lawyers to put a media gag and full restraining order on the father because he seems to be running to the media and I am wondering if he makes money from stories on Lindsay. I am sure this pushes her to the edge. This poor girl will not see her 30th birthday.

  35. Mistral says:

Boo Hoo Linds. Maybe you’ll finally get some real help.

  36. Renee says:

Hahahaha, what a hysterically wonderful way to start the weekend.

  37. Cheyenne says:

@PsychicEyes: She’s been cut too much slack too many times. She can’t blame mommy and daddy for her fuck-ups any more. She’s a grown woman. She will either face up to her life and turn it around or she will be dead before her 30th birthday. It’s up to her now.

  38. cantbelievethis says:

    @PsychicEyes
Lindsay is a grown woman, her issues can’t be blamed on her parents. So what if they are a mess, many, many people grow up in dysfunctional families worse than hers and turn out just fine.

  39. Katalina76 says:

OH SH*T!!! TMZ is now reporting that this stupid b*tch failed MULTIPLE drug tests. They were taken within a couple days of each other and the other one was not for cocaine. So this means she’s been using multiple drugs as well. WTF is wrong with this chick? Does she really think she can get out of this?

Just so you know, she gets 30 days for EACH failed drug test, so hypothetically she’ll be going back to the clink for at least 60 days.

  40. Marjalane says:

I’m sorry but I have no problem with this trashbag going back to jail; There are a lot of us who’ve had crummy parents, and we’ve all made an effort to get past it. Lindsey is what, 24? Time to clean it up Toots. I’ll be pissed if the CA system wusses out on this and gives her another chance. I’ll be even more pissed if that fatass Oprah moves ahead with her million dollar interview and lets Lindsey and White Oprah bullshit their way into more excuses and wah, wah, feel sorry for us. Why does America buy into this nonsense?!

  41. mln says:

How can she fail a drug test when she isn’t a drug addict…. OH NOW I GET IT.

  42. Wresa says:

So does that mean she’s so delusional she even managed to trick UCLA doctors into thinking she was clean? They said her addictions were not as serious as was first thought, but obviously they are if she can’t even stay clean for 2 weeks.

  43. mm says:

    Bring back Judge Marsha!!!!!

  44. Oi says:

And Russell Brand was arrested at LAX. Adam Lambert was involved in a ‘battery’ type incident today too. And then there’s Paris…this is getting old.

  45. PsychicEyes says:

#35 – then you would also understand that dysfunctional families are also plagued with drug and alcohol abuse, broken relationships and suicide. No one comes out of them unscathed and the strong ones just learn to bury the shit deep inside and try to live a normal life. Unless you’ve walked a mile in Lindsay’s shoes and know all the facts then it’s not right to knock her down. I do respect the law and people need to pay the price. However, we need to be cognizant of the pertain facts that led to her demise. To error is human but to forgive is divine. Until the day you experience burying your loved one after they have committed suicide then you will not truly comprehend what a dysfunctional upbrining can have on your psyche. Don’t kick the girl while she’s down.

  46. redlips says:

    Denial is not attractive…..

As a licensed Drug/Alcohol Counselor, my opinion is that Lindsay will have to hit rock bottom before she gets it. Something very traumatic is going to have to happen to her (other than jail), that absolutely scares the crap out of her before she “can” admit she has a problem! Until then, nothing will phase her!

  47. GatsbyGal says:

Best. Thing. Ever. Send her ass back to jail. I’m sure her judge laughed her ass off and screamed, “FUCKING YES!”

  48. Samigirl says:

@lucy2-I literally just lol’ed so loud at your comment, it disturbed my child who fell asleep in my lap.
Anywho, I’m honestly surprised she went this long without a positive test. Wonder what Samantha is gonna say…..

  49. ziggy says:

wow! some of you are really mean. rejoicing at someone’s failure to pass a drug test? get a bloody life! the woman obviously has some major issues.

  50. RHONYC says:

    career highlights:
    1998 The Parent Trap
    2003 Freaky Friday
2004 Confessions of a Teenage Drama
    2004 Mean Girls

    now:
    party girl.
    drugs & more drugs.
    dysfunctional relationships.
    jail.
    rehab.

not a decent movie since SIX YEARS AGO.
not a movie at all for TWO YEARS.

can we stop with her now?

    could someone clue her in…

“you my dear, are no ROBERT DOWNEY JR!

    🙁

  51. GreenGinger says:

“Don’t kick the girl while she’s down”

    @PsychicEyes, I’ve been feeling the same way too about Lindsay. And this is someone who laughed very hard at Paris.;

  52. Truthzbetta says:

Lindsay and Octomom have same c-r-a-z-y lips. Little confused as to how either affords it.

  53. lena says:

I really don’t understand how people can mock someone who is obviously suffering from an illness. Drug addiction is nothing to laugh at.

  54. Lucy says:

Let me just say, I am a recovered addict and I’m young, 21.

Now, though I “should” have tolerance for addicts, I really don’t. I have not had the same life as Lindsay, or any other addict.

What I do believe is although we (addicts) all have different lives, addiction is the same. My true belief, after the drug is out of the body, after that is purely will power and determination to not use again. There comes some strings with this, LIKE: not hanging around the same friends, not going to the same hang outs, and generally changing one’s whole routine.

I did have counselling to help with recovery – counselling that I put myself in, because I knew I had a problem and something needed to be done about it, and I was the ONLY one who could do something about it.

I have no time or patience for addicts who whine and bitch that their addiction is because of someone/something else. We all have shit to go through in life, and we all have choices to make. I don’t blame her for being an addict, I do blame her for not picking herself up, because she is the only one who is capable of doing so.

Her parents are lunatics, yes. My own mother denies to this day that I was an addict (I’ve been clean for three years) so, I guess, the whole parent thing, really IN MY OPINION, should be out the window.

She is responsible for herself, which she clearly has no concept of.

Lock her ass up, get her into serious treatment (not just for the withdrawal) and forget about her.

Sorry for the rant, I’m just REALLY tired of her crap.

  55. GatsbyGal says:

@Ziggy – Did you miss the part where this website is called Celebitchy? We’re not here to pat celebs on the ass and give them a free pass for their shit, we’re here to bitch at them and makes jokes about what screw-ups they are. If there has ever been a bitch who deserves it, it’s Blowhan.

  56. lucy2 says:

Lucy (good name) your post states exactly why I have little to no patience or sympathy for Lohan anymore. This has been going on for years, and despite multiple stints in rehab, jail, probation, etc, she still doesn’t see a problem and thinks she’s a victim. I realize she has a lot of enablers, but she also should be able to look at her current situation, plus what has happened to her career, and realize that hey, it’s not going well.
Congrats on your recovery, I wish you well, and when Lindsay owns up to her life and wants to get help, I’ll wish her well then too.

  57. Riley says:

I think the thing that pisses me off the most is that she was reportedly paid millions for her story. The recovering addicts I’ve known have received at most, a cup of coffee each week at AA, maybe a friendly smile from someone attending the meeting, and the hope that possibly they will live another day sober. Honestly, I think the person supplying her is her mother. How else would Dina make money unless her daughter is strung out and in the media? I know LL is an entitled bitch, and that there comes a time when you have to stop pointing fingers and take responsibility for your actions, but I think for her to do that, she needs to break away from all of her family, and find a good, sober influence who can guide her for a while. I don’t think she is ready to turn her back on her mother, and who can blame her. That is a very difficult decision, and it is hard for a young person to be sober when her family are addicts and use her for everything she has as long as she still has a pulse in her chest.

  58. la chica says:

this is what happens when you think you can say eff you to the legal system on a painted nail while remaining in denial.

her enablers are working overtime claiming that TMZ is wrong. the same TMZ that paid her for the first post-jail pic holding a can of Rockstar…

    isn’t it ironic, doncha think…?

  59. Karina says:

    Yawn….

  60. Sassy says:

Maybe Lindsay borrowed Paris’ friend’s purse. You know, the one with the “gum” in it.

    What a fucking stupid crackie.

  61. Sally says:

    @Rita, you made me lol!

  62. Renee says:

Well well, homegirl just fessed up to this mess via twitter.
However, I think this is the first time she’s admitted it. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it sounds like she may have actually learned something. Or we’re totally being played.

  63. RHONYC says:

    @ Lucy

    YOU-R-MY-HERO!!!

thanx 4 being real and congrats on your sobriety and future successes!

you are young and full of life. take every opportunity to the max!

    🙂

  64. Carrie says:

It’s being reported by The AP that the failed test was confirmed.

Also, there are now reports from NBC that she will not be hosting SNL in December.

There goes the great career comeback.

  65. MrsOdie2 says:

    “Somebody slipped it to me.”

    “That aint even mine.”

“I kissed someone who had done coke.”

“All people do is make up lies about me.”

    Did I forget any?

  66. la chica says:

and for the first time, she admits it. baby steps.

  67. Zelda says:

    @Psychic Eyes

Nope, sorry. Boo hoo but MANY families/ ubringings are “dysfunctional” and/or abusive. If you combine the statistics for substance abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, rape, disease, mental illness, chronic illness, debilitating accident, divorce, accidental and premature death, suicide etc virtually NO FAMILY IS UNSCATHED.

Tragic stuff happens all the damn time to anyone, for any reason. Know why? That’s part of life. It isn’t perfect, and only those who believe it should be allow themselves to blame outside influences for their flaws and misdeeds.

Most people manage to take responsibility for themselves. Simply saying “yep I do this, whatever is it, good or bad, and it is because I make all my own choices” is generally all I ask of people. I don’t care what you do, but blaming it on other people and “hard times in life” is pathetic.

  68. Fluffy Kitten Tail says:

Lindsay has Tweeted that she did fail the tests and is prepared to face the consequences. She says that drug addiction is not something you can stop overnight.

My question: WTF was wrong with the docs at UCLA that said she was NOT an addict?

  69. MeMyself says:

    Lucy,

    Your honesty is really beautiful.

    Best of luck. xo

  70. Jeff says:

BRAVO LUCY!!! I wish you continued success and sobriety throughout the rest of your life.

Lucy is right on point. Regardless of of Lohan’s past, she is the one who has to make the decision to clean up her act, get sober and get a life. She has just destroyed any current comeback. Incredibly sad and stupid.

To those who have commented that Lindsay is “no Robert Downey, Jr.,” you’re right, she isn’t. His downfall was much more spectacular – get real. It’s great that he’s allegedly sober now but really, she’s a novice in comparison to his prior screwups.

  71. Angel says:

100% someone very close to Lindsey is on cocaine, badly. Addicts can almost always stay ‘clean’ for at least a short time when they HAVE to, unless they are around someone pulling them back in again and again. When they see it, they can’t deny it. I bet it’s her damn mother, too. That woman. Ugh.

  72. hellen says:

“wow! some of you are really mean. rejoicing at someone’s failure to pass a drug test?”

Yes. Because maybe NOW she will be taken off the streets, incarcerated, detoxed, and forced to STAY in a treatment program.

  73. Angel says:

@Lucy, amen, girl. I feel the same way. As someone who has dealt with addictive personalities in my close family (parents, siblings, you get the point) my entire life, I know damn well the nature of addiction. Like I just said before I read your comment, what Lindsey’s problem is is not detox from the drug. Sister needs a detox from her relationships; whichever ones keep leading BACK to the drugs. I hope it isn’t her mother, honestly, because she really feels dependant on that parental relationship to serve as both units, understandably, and so that can make it damn near impossible to ever get away without effective treatment for both … which will likely never happen if they’re enabling one another. But when I look at her and see the level of hopelessness her every action exhibits, my only conclusion is it is someone damn close, someone she can not break away from easily. The rest writes itself.

I also want to add though, that relapses ARE a natural part of recovery. We ought to try not to judge this setback too harshly, even with the implications this ‘setback’ introduce, after reading her comments on twitter I hope that she is genuinely ready to accept she messed up and move forward. Here’s hoping…

  74. Richi says:

Won’t this gurl ever learn her lesson? sad tho’! i really hope she gets her act together!!!

  75. Merry says:

AH! Laughing so hard at the “Somewhere, Judge Revel is writing “told you so beyotch” on her fingernail” line, Lucy2!!

  76. dvz says:

OK, now as I said before, this…this…Lindsay needs Betty Ford. That place works miracles. Second runner up would be Hazelden. But, to paraphrase a poster from a previous entry in response to my earlier remark re Betty Ford, this dumb bitch would probably prefer jail.

  77. Chris says:

So her crime was that she used drugs and harmed who?

  78. My2Cents says:

She has confirmed it on Twitter.

  79. Strawberry says:

I have zero sympathy for her. She snorted it all up her nose.

  80. Blondie says:

She has admitted it coz she was caught – no other reason & I highly doubt this is the start of her new life /realisiation

She is not ready & no doubt when she comes out of jail /rehab there will be multiple million deals for her – why should dhe want to get better with this senario???

  81. Blondie says:

Just read her twitter confession & she didn’t write the twitter message either, that was scripted for her by her PR / management people – another reason why she is not ready to truely recover

  82. CB Rawks says:

Send that goddamn bitch straight back to jail, where she should have been this entire time!
And I swear if she doesn’t do several months for this, I will look into vigilante bounty hunter training, come and get her myself and lock her up on a damn island in a metal facemask and forget her there.

  83. CB Rawks says:

@Angel, Lindsay and her doctors and sycophant team just finished saying she ISN’T an addict. That’s why she was allowed out of rehab! Which the hell is it?! Is she or isn’t she?

  84. CB Rawks says:

@Ziggy, perhaps you should google this mess and find out why we are relieved and pleased, since you obviously have no knowledge of Lindsay’s chronic criminal history.

  85. Maria says:

    @ Blondie

my thoughts exactly. There’s no way in hell she wrote that. It would mean that she learned to write, sound reasonable and realized she is a drug addict. Doesn’t add up with the “it’s not truuuuuueeeeeee!!!!” defense

  86. coucou says:

She’s got the Keira Knightley lip implant, it’s really changed her look, and not for the better.

Septum implant will be next, if not there already.

What a waste of some natural talent. She’s demolishing her career, and can’t see it, i pity her. Today.

  87. Nicky says:

I agree with Blondie, that message was the work of her new management team. If anyone is familiar with Lindsay’s tweets you will know even her most coherent messages are badly punctuated and inarticulate. This is damage limitation courtesy of Larry Rudolph – fool the public into thinking she is owning up and taking responsibility and maybe everyone will go easy on her (including the judge). Nice try, but we’re not that stupid.

  88. bb says:

@Nicky, mte; having followed Lindsay’s twitter that is way, way to articulate to be her. However, I’m suprised even her management team were able to convince her to at least try to look contrite and like she is taking responsibility. I really, really expected her to be straight away on Twitter with her usual ludicrous denials like “My Dad must have come in and sprinkled cocaine in my yoghurt” or “It was the black kid’s pee”. All those excuses which sound rational to the addict but to everyone else are laughable.

I once read an anecdote that Lindsay can snort cocaine right in front of your eyes then later deny you ever saw it.

  89. Marie says:

@Lucy2-I won the bet at work 150 bucks thank you very much Lindsay. I knew our little cokehead wouldn’t let me down. Now just waiting for the overdose. (I already have a one way ticket to hell, so I am ok saying such things.) This is great, I just can’t quit laughing.

  90. di butler says:

So, about those doctors in rehab who said she wasn’t an addict and didn’t need any more rehab……maybe a 2nd look at that shiz?

  91. Marianne says:

And lets hope she gets her ass thrown back in jail and stays there this time.

  92. tuscan sun says:

This young lady sure relapsed lightning fast. I hope UCLA is proud of itself. This girl was not ready to be released and the whole world knew it. 30 days jail for a failed drug test? Maybe if it was you or me, but Lilo will get another slap on the wrist. The system will keep enabling this girl right into the grave. I feel like I’m on a death watch. How terribly sad.

  93. eja102 says:

I am thinking she wants to go back. I can’t think of a reason why she would snort 3 weeks out.
can someone really be that stupid?
    that’s rhetorical, btw.

  94. Po says:

She went through a speedy detox just so she could make it through her jail sentence without going completely insane and then went to UCLA where she was tested for addictions. They probably didn’t want her there to begin with because she’s a celebrity and they didn’t want the drama so they reported that she was not technically not an addict that particular day.
We all have seen addicts whether they have been coworkers, family, friends, or just the guy walking down the street and any rationale adult who has seen the pictures of her over the last 4 to 5 years can tell she is an addict. Judge Revel knew she was an addict with no respect for the judicial system, her lawyer knew it, the DA knew it, everyone knew it but they let her off the hook because Lindsey on the streets high will make everyone more money than Lindsey forced to deal with herself and her problems for a few years behind closed doors. I never thought I would say this but I do actually feel sorry for her now. It is painfully obvious that the people closest to her in her life care more about Lindsey getting them into parties than whether she lives or dies. We all know how this is going to end.

  95. lucy2 says:

@Chris – no, her crime was not using drugs. It was using drugs/drinking and DRIVING, which is illegal and could have killed people. It was not meeting the requirements of her probation by skipping classes and ignoring court orders. And now it is failing the drug tests which are mandatory as part of her probation.
She is not going back to jail because she got high in her living room.

  96. Chris says:

Ah, so she has a problem with cars. Why not ween her off her dependance on motor vehicles then?

  97. Jazz says:

I wonder what White Oprah will blame this on now?! I’m sure that Dina loves her, but she’s loving her to death. Maybe now the system will get tough with Lindsay, and stop enabling her.

  98. Jean says:

    @Chris
What idiot factory did you spawn from?

  99. Sophie says:

BWAHAHAHA! oh god this is priceless!

  100. wonderful says:

Kaiser – you should be calling her “methhead,” not “crackhead,” as that is quite clearly her poison of choice.

  101. Innocent says:

    @Po
That’s why the rehab was never going to work.
Since May when she was monitored she got sober and there was no admissable evidence such as failed drug tests or possession since 07 that she took illegal drugs.
She was DESPERATE to avoid rehab and once the Judge who was way too involved in the case was forced to remove herself her team was fighting for her release.
I always suspected the reason that she didn’t come back from Cannes for the hearing was because if she failed a drug test it would have been an immediate violation of probation so she bought herself 3 days.Hoping that if she stayed sober and completed the program she might have got a few days in jail but that her probation would be over.

  102. Lady Jane says:

People are going to SLAY me for this, but addiction is not a disease. It is a choice. Cancer, is a disease. Lou Gerring’s is a disease. Parkinson’s is a disease. There is no choice involved. Despite the fact that behavior and disease are different, many people equate the two. Drinking is not Cirrhosis of the liver. Smoking is not cancer.

Yes, addicts may have to overcome a certain set of challenges that other non-addicts don’t have, but no one is sitting there shoving blow up your nose. Blah. It is like calling obesity a disease. Bullshit. Take responsibility for your actions instead of making yourself in a victim of ‘disease’.

I can’ believe yet more tax payers money is going to be wasted on this stupid little girl.

  103. lisa says:

So Lindsey admitted on twitter that this is true.. Well Dina.. I guess you are a big liar or you know squat about your daughter. Michael L is a douche but he at least was being honest about the drug use. And Dina was going on The Today show saying Lindsey didn’t have a problem and it was the media and the judge. Well now we know the judge was right and she should have done the entire 90/90. She has a problem and yes it will take time. She should have stayed longer in rehab and that would have helped. I hope she does the jail time because yet again she violated her probation and knowing that she was going to be tested didn’t stop her. She needs to take some time off and just disappear for a time and get herself together.

Well now we know the truth and she is at least admitting she is an addict. Something she has not really done before.

    WOW..just WOW

  104. BRE says:

I can understand why some people don’t think drug or alcohol addiction are diseases. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis (an auto immune disease) and I face extreme pain/disability every day. I still go to work and school for my masters even though some days are terribly bad. I can’t change my disease, I am on medication meant to put the disease into remission and it hasn’t worked. So yeah, it’s hard to compare a disease with NO control like mine that can’t be cured to one that can IF you are willing to truly work on it. If someone told me I could cure myself of my disease but I would have to do some serious work to do it I would in a second, I have tried so many things, complete diet changes, lifestyle changes, meditation, alternative eastern medicine…you name it I’ve tried it. Yet, I can’t say that it isn’t a disease, its one of the mind and since mine is not a disease of mind I’m not sure if I can really know what that does to one’s brain.

  105. Kate says:

@Chris: if she would keep that nonsense at home and out of the spotlight, she wouldn’t be in all this legal trouble.

Plenty of celebs do drugs in great quantity and frequency… they just do it in the privacy of their home and avoid the cracky drama of Lohan.

Doesn’t make them right, but it does make them smarter than Lohan.

  106. OXA says:

Send her to that jail in Arizona where they do hard time. Maybe a few months in a pink convict suit doing hard labor will help her get the severity of her behaviour and get her shit together.

  107. Bodhi says:

I’m not going to slay you, Lady Jane, but I will tell you that you are 100% wrong.

    http://www.medical-online.com/addict.htm

    http://www.nida.nih.gov/scienceofaddiction/

  108. Lucy says:

    Lady Jane: Agreed!

    Thanks to everyone. 🙂

  109. Jackson says:

    Surprise, surprise.
So, she’ll spend like what….two hours in jail? I’m guessing however long it takes to process her through. What a joke. Anyone who gets a free pass the first time through should have to serve their maximum on subsequent times. Oh, and so much for UCLA (?) and their saying she didn’t need rehab, eh?

@104 – Lady Jane, you speak the truth!!!!! My compliments.

  110. Crash2GO2 says:

I tend to agree with Lady Jane. And the reason Lohan keeps choosing to use is that she really doesn’t think that the rules apply to HER (see exhibit baby stroller mowing down). And the reason she doesn’t think they apply to her have to do with her personality disorder.

She uses because she WANTS to, not because she can’t help herself. She is saying ‘F*ck U’ to all those she perceives to be trying to control her. But she is incapable (apparently) of figuring out that she is only f*cking herself at this point. MAYBE a few more stints in jail and she’ll get smarter. MAYBE.

  111. Bodhi says:

Addiction is a disease, but it is one that people can overcome. Of course there is personal choice involved & I’m the 1st to admit it. But addiction IS a disease.

  112. redlips says:

Yes, she has admitted it because she was caught red handed! Now, walk the walk and talk the talk………..like I said earlier, “she won’t get it until something very traumatic happens to her”.

  113. redlips says:

and…..while you are at it Lindsay, put a BRA on!

  114. Lindsay says:

Chris- Her crime was using ILLEGAL drugs. She also violated the terms of her probation. You don’t have to hurt someone to commit a crime.

Jackson- Lindsay’s Purse is a Chanel multi color glitter flap. 11L x 7’H x 3.5W, No double flap inside. The fabric is similar to soft shantung. (You asked on a previous post and I just got around to looking into it, the one from the photos of her posted her on the fourth)

  115. albeli says:

She needs to go back to jail and rehab for real this time.

  116. Lindsay says:

PsychicEyes- She probably has a restraining order against him but they can’t take away his right to free speech. Gag orders only apply to legal proceedings you are involved in – like what happens in the court room. He, like like the tabloids, is pretty much free to say what he wants because she is a public figure.

  117. Jackson says:

@116 Lindsay – Thank you!!! You have no idea how much I appreciate you taking the time and helping me with that – thanks again!!

….and, after looking it up online, I think I better look for a knockoff, lol! $3k!!!

  118. Tia C says:

I don’t think she wrote those tweets. Aside from the fact that they admit culpability and responsibility (which she never does) there are no typos, they are coherent, and they sound like someone with a brain wrote them, so I highly doubt it was her.

Best gossip we’ve gotten in awhile!

  119. bellebeesting says:

LOL at Lucy2’s first comment. And respectfully tipping my hat to you and Lucy, too.

  120. Jack says:

    lady jane…..

you are so RIGHT!! all the people who say that addiction is a disease are just excusing an addicts behavior! “oh i can´t help myself..i am an addict..its a disease” WRONG , you can change it, get a life

    cancer, HIV, malaria..= diseases
drug addiction = no self discipline

  121. allison says:

the first thing i thought when reading her tweets was also “there is no way she wrote this”. Her people are working hard aren’t they…

  122. Granger says:

Sigh. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually starting to feel sorry for Lindsay. Drug abuse aside, what kind of 23-year-old feels the need for collagen injections in her lips??? I can’t imagine being that obsessed with my own appearance — but then again, I don’t live in Hollywood, so it’s difficult for me to understand that whole culture.

I’ve never thought she was a particularly good actor, so I could care less if she cleans up for the sake of her career; I just hope she cleans up for her OWN sake. Otherwise, I have a sinking feeling we’re going to be reading her obituary before her 25th birthday.

  123. Ligeia says:

so many people seem to be happy to kick someone while she is down. it’s rather telling about the kind of life you have, that seeing someone elses misfortune is what makes your day. i hope that one day you can find happiness without gloating at someone else troubles.

  124. Crash2GO2 says:

@Bodhi: The disease model of addiction is just that. A model. A way to look at addiction and treat it. In some ways addictions do fit a disease model, and in other ways it does not.

    http://www.drug-addiction-support.org/Drug-addiction-Choice.html

  125. Kaza says:

WHO CARES !?!?!?!? I wish she’d disappear, I hate opening a website and its poor lindsey this and poor lindsey that.
Get out of Hollywood and grow up twit!

She and Paris should be BFFs

  126. Lindsay says:

Jackson – You are welcome. I’m glad you saw it! It is a beautiful bag!

What is the least shocking news of the last 48 or so: Lindsay failing a drug test, Octomom back on welfare, Montana Fishburne checking into an inpatient psychiatric hospital, or I’m Still Here been 99% scripted… down to the opening home videos?

  127. Fluffy Kitten Tail says:

I know that addiction is a disease, but I am pretty much in agreement with Lady Jane. I guess, IMO, addiction is a disease you choose to have, not one where you are given no choice in the matter.

  128. cantbelievethis says:

@PsychicEyes I’m sorry but I don’t see how Lindsay’s parents are that bad. Yes they are idiots and famewhores who live off their daughter’s success.

I know all about dysfunctional. I was put in fostercare in 5th grade b/c I was covered in bruises from being beat repeatedly by my stepfather. I was then sent to live with my father who is an alcoholic/drug addict and a step mother who hated me. My youngest brother almost killed his 3 month old daughter b/c he was high on meth. He got clean but then died from the effects of meth.
As for suicide, I was the one that got the call when my ex’s dad committed suicide and then had to deal with the psychological effects my son went through when his dad attempted suicide in front of him.

I am a normal, functioning adult. I have a full time job, am raising great kids. I’m sorry but I don’t see how poor Lindsay’s life as been that hard. I don’t even think I deserve sympathy for my awful upbringing b/c there are alot of people who went through worse things.

  129. Marjalane says:

At least this site had the brains to call bullshit on WHO wrote her twitter remarks! I can’t believe some of the sites that are applauding Lindsey for “admitting her problem”. Uh, no. She got caught and everything else is just spin from a publicist. Can’t wait to see how the “experts” at UCLA spin her non-addiction.

  130. Marie says:

@Lady Jane, I agree with you about it not being a disease, it is a choice, I have always said that.
I also agree with Kasier, CB and everyone else who said Lindsay didn’t put that on her Twitter, her PR team did that and probably told her and white Oprah to keep their super sized platypus lips closed.

  131. Dominica says:

I dont understand why everyone is being so mean. Addiction is serious. Im walking in the same shoes as Lindsay right now. It can be overcome…

  132. VMG says:

My guess for the “other” drug on the 2nd failed test is METH.

  133. mln says:

Sure addiction is serious but most people who have done what Lindsay has driving under the influence, numerous rehab stints etc.. end up serving serious time and facing real consequences. Enabling a drug addict isn’t helping them. Look at Robert Downey Jr the very best thing that happened for his career is that he went to jail and was treated like a criminal and not a star.

  134. Super Sleuth says:

The only thing that is going to save her is the Robert Downey school of learning.

    PS: You said it FluffY!

  135. bellaluna says:

@ Dominica – I wish you more success than Blohan is having.

@ Lucy – Good on you; keep it up!

@ Lady Jane – I tend to agree with you, and I admire your courage in posting your opinion.

Blohan has wasted her looks, talent, our time, and my tax-dollars. I’m over her. And no, she’s not articulate enough to have posted that sh!t on Twitter.

  136. artbitch says:

    @cantbelieveth

Too right. I have every sympathy for people who have had a rubbish start in life, but it annoys me when people use their past as an excuse. Plenty of people go through horrible things and never touch drugs, rape or assault or owt like that. It’s a conscious decision and this girl has had enough chances. People are wasting their time with her, she obviously doesn’t wanna be helped.

  137. iKat says:

Oh wow. Ok, she is just STUPID.

  138. Nicky says:

Apparently just hours after she (or let’s be honest, her publicists) issued that statement via her twitter she was out on the town with her friends. There are pictures of her leaving Magnolia Restaurant, smiling and laughing! So those of you who feel sorry for her, take a long hard look at those pictures and tell me if you think she gives two sh**s about any of this. She’s an absolutely pathetic waste of space.

  139. jen says:

Addiction absolutely IS a disease, but how it manifests itself is what makes people think it isn’t. It doesn’t matter the drug/drink/behaviour of choice, it’s the addiction ITSELF, in the brain, that’s the disease. But it CAN be “cured” so to speak, just like many other diseases, and THAT’S where responsibility HAS to come in. That’s when you have to be ready to fight it and get better, and that’s where too many addicts fail; taking responsibility and deciding to get treatment. It is way too easy to say “Oh I have a disease wah” than to actually do something about it.

LINDSEY – I didn’t know that about Montana Fishburne! My guess is it’s to lessen her sentence, should she be found guilty, with that whole beating up the boyfriend’s ex thing. I don’t know all the details of that case, but yeah, that’s my bet – it’s to save her own ass. BUT HEY, if she gets any benefit from it, more power to her.

OH, and I am not surprised AT ALL about I’m Still Here. I called it from the beginning, I KNEW they were just playing everyone, and my love of Joaquin went from pretty high to nil. What a self important egotistical twat. LOL

  140. Julia says:

Yeah, if she posted those tweets, her spelling and grammar have improved drastically. Colour me dubious…

  141. prissa says:

Although I know Linds has had mutiple chances, opportunities and such I think we are all forgetting that addiction IS a real problem/disease. Ppl who say she’s stupid – yes using drugs are stupid. BUT addiction isn’t something to ridicule or joke about. Knowing how her parents are and how dysfunctional her upbringing and her childhood was I can understand why she’s the way she is. There has got to be some very deep rooted issues this woman has and until she’s willing to work ACKNOWLEDGE and work through them she will remain in her current situation. I fEel for her and hope she realizes she needs help and begins the long journey towards recovery before it too late. I’m praying for u Lindsay!

  142. cantbelievethis says:

@Dominica People are beating up Lindsay b/c of the way she handles it. She is endangering others driving around high.

Eminem was high for years but you didn’t see reports of him getting DUIs or carjacking people. He got clean and admitted it was all his own fault. He didn’t blame others.

I have no patience for anyone that does drugs/drinks and endangers others. And then continues to do it.

  143. Megan says:

This is the time for family & friends to truly show love in the tough love form – allowing someone to behave like this isn’t love…it’s standing aside and making excuses while she kills herself.

  144. Madisyn says:

I can’t wait for next weeks probation violation hearing. . .AGAIN!

  145. MoMo says:

I don’t understand how at this point she can even be considered mentally competent in the legal sense. Or why she can’t be lawfully forced to complete a long term treatment program. Surely after everything she’s done there must be some grounds for state-based intervention. I mean, did Britney even commit a fraction of the crimes Lindsay has? She’s been in the justice system going on years now, and she still isn’t allowed to make her own life decisions! The discrepancies of how Lindsay has been treated are astounding. The fact that psychiatrists, medical doctors, rehab people and prison officials keep giving her green lights in terms of mental capacity and low risk to public safety makes me wonder if she really isn’t some kind of genius. Her case is fascinating in that it reveals how broke down the criminal justice system is.

  146. Sarah says:

A little off topic, but that shot with her wearing the huge white t-shirt… would it kill her to wear a bra?

  147. Jacq says:

This is just getting ludicrous. She was released EARLY from rehab for NOT having an addiction problem, but she has now failed a drug test for the coke she WASN’T addicted to? She’s willing to do 30 days for coke that she’s “never touched because of Michael Lohan”. I guess that once you’ve been thru the system 4 times (depending on who you ask) you know what to say to get a hall pass.

  148. Bodhi says:

@ Fluffy kitten tail & jen ~ Thank you; that is what I was trying & failing to say.

@ crash ~ Fluffy Kitten Tail said what I meant better than I ever could

  149. Fluffy Kitten Tail says:

@Bodhi- Thank you! : ) I am glad someone understood.

I have sympathy for those with drug or alcohol addictions, but people choose to have those diseases. Your fate, whether you live or die, is almost in your hands exclusively, whereas having cancer, or heart disease, or MS are diseases that you are at the mercy of medical science, the disease itself and if you believe, God.

  150. Anon says:

At this point…even her family knows that she is worth more dead than alive. Her “career” in Hollywood is over. It’s why no one is really trying all that hard to protect her from herself.

If anyone really cared, they wouldn’t have given a junkie a wad full of CASH and handed her the keys to a maserati, the day out of rehab.

All her parents care is how lindsay is going to pay their bills, and if that means posthumously, they don’t mind, that is more than obvious.

  151. GatsbyGal says:

@Fluffy Kitten Tail – “I guess, IMO, addiction is a disease you choose to have, not one where you are given no choice in the matter.”

    …so then, it’s NOT a disease. It’s a CHOICE.

  152. St. Louis says:

I had to stop reading because I had to congratulate Lucy on her sobriety. Lucy, you are an inspiration to all young ladies out here. Wow. I am old enough to be your mother and I am blown away by your maturity and wisdom. Women twice your age don’t often have what you have and you should be proud. Thank you for sharing your story. You are proof that winners win and whiners (Lindsay, Paris, etc.) never do.

  153. Jag says:

    lisa:
September 17th, 2010 at 7:37 pm Wow.. another example of her not getting what she deserved..

^ This I agree with completely.

  154. Sassy says:

No way did Lindsay tweet that shit. Her PR people did that because it’s all too articulate for crackie mccracken to have actually typed it.

I don’t believe for one second Lindsay is truly ready to admit she has any sort of problem with drugs.

According to TMZ, she hit up an AA meeting last night and plans to attend another today. Like we can’t see through her bullshit. She’s only attending AA so she can “show” the judge she will be facing next week that she’s “serious” about taking responsibility (hahahahahahhaahaha) which is code for “I’m doing this in the hopes that you’ll not toss my ass in jail or rehab.”

This chick makes me ill with her cracked-out ways and how she plays the system. She’s such an asshole.

  155. dragonlady sakura says:

Heh, my sister owes me twenty bucks now. Thanks Lilo!

  156. Lindsay says:

MoMo- Stupidity is not a mental illness and if making bad choices was grounds for people to be declared “not mental fit to stand trial” there would be no trials. Britney was never declared mental incapably of standing trial, if she was she would be locked away in a psychiatric hospital. It is two different sets of criteria. And really which one of her parents would step in and do a better job managing her life? Her younger brother would probably be her best bet. At least then she would just be playing a lot of soccer and cleaning his room for him.

  157. Aqua says:

@ Lucy Congrats on your recovery! Wishing you nothing but the best! Thanks for your personal insight.

  158. peaceout says:

HOPEFULLY SHE WILL GET THE HELP THAT SHE DESERVES. SHE ALSO NEEDS SERIOUS COUNSELING. PEOPLE IN HER CORNER THAT REALLY CARE ABOUT HER WELL BEING. SHE NEEDS TO GO TO COUNSELING WITH BOTH HER PARENTS THEY NEED ON-GOING SESSIONS WHERE THEY CAN ALL EXPRESS THEMSELVES WITH A THERAPIST. LINDSAY HAS A LOT OF DEEPLY ROOTED ISSUES AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED WITH PROFESSIONAL HELP.I JUST HOPE THAT SHE DOESN’T HURT /KILL ANYONE WHILE DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE!

  159. ummmmmm says:

this reminds me of an episode of south park about addicts who claim to be victims -in this case Stan’s father Randy claimed that he was an “alcoholic.” he used his disease to get sympathy and began using a wheelchair, shaved his head, and acted like he was dying of a terminal disease.

    here’s the link
    http://allsp.com/l.php?id=e139

  160. Uh says:

An addict is an addict is an addict. It is totally how you handle it, or not…humility? Conceit?

I’m willing to wager that everyone here would be in the “poor thing, how sad” camp IF she had admitted (early on) that she was an addict who had experienced a strange/enabling life and needed help, instead of flaunting it all and screaming “f-u” at ordinary people/the legal system in her actions. Just sayin’.

One more opinion doesn’t really matter – none of us will be her judge – but I think it’s time for real jail time, followed by a full stay at rehab.

  161. Shelley says:

Lucy – if LL develops even half of your common sense and courage, she’ll be blessed. Stay strong. You’re quite remarkable.

  162. Camille says:

Oh Lindsay, you silly, stupid bitch.

  163. Chris says:

I can’t believe that just a couple of weeks ago people were saying that Lindsay wasn’t an addict. At the time I said that drugs have always been a factor in her problems and again drugs are in the picture. As I’ve said before she probably has a dual diagnosis. What she needs to do is get out of Hollywood and go to rehab for a year and make sure that she puts support networks in place for when she leaves. The next person who decides her fate needs to bite the bullet and put an end to this nonsense. I don’t have a problem with people using drugs but when they’re incapable of using without it spilling into the public arena they’ve obviously lost control and need help.

  164. Innocent says:

There is rumours that Shawn has dropped her as a client if true then it isn’t surprising.
After she visited her every day in jail, regularly in rehab and managed to get her an early release.
It’s disgusting that not even 3 weeks after her release she goes back to using while undergoing outpatient rehab.

  165. DiMi says:

I don’t even drink much less do drugs. I never started drinking, even socially, and I’ve never even smoked pot so I probably have had fewer addictive substances in my body than any of the people who are saying addiction is not a disease and is just about will power. I think it is disgusting when people dismiss how serious addiction is and attack addicts for not having enough will power. Addiction IS a disease. It is a preventable and treatable disease, and it is a disease with a behavioral and psychological component. Once a compulsive need to consume a substance becomes an addiction, it is no longer a choice. It is a choice to treat the disease of addiction; it is not a choice to HAVE the disease. Dismissing how serious it is and how hard it is to overcome just makes it more difficult for those who have it. If a complete abstainer like me can have some compassion for addicts, why can’t people who drink, smoke, and use pot – which I don’t do? I don’t understand the refusal to recognize how much addicts suffer.

  166. Crash2GO2 says:

Again, Lindsey is not an addict. The doctors at UCLA declared this.

She is a sociopath who thinks she can get away with anything with no consequences (hence the going out with friends, laughing, etc.) after having been busted violating her probation.

She does drugs because she CHOOSES to, not because she has is an addict and can’t help herself. Rehab will do nothing for her. That is why the doctors at UCLA released her.

I predict that she is going to keep on doing her sociopathic things until either 1) she wises up enough to realize that she really does have to buckle down to the system in order to get the freedom she wants or 2) her sociopathy will continue unchecked until she ends up in jail indefinitely.

  167. Chris says:

“Rehab will do nothing for her.”

Do you actually know what goes on in rehabs?

“It’s disgusting that not even 3 weeks after her release she goes back to using while undergoing outpatient rehab.”

It’s not disgusting or surprising. She hasn’t stopped because she can’t stop, that’s what makes her a drug addict.

  168. LOVE ANGELINA says:

When did the doctors say she wasn’t an addict? Clearly she is. Why would someone who is supposed to undergo mandatory drug testing do drugs knowing they would be tested at some point? I had really hoped this wasn’t true but damn LL.

We don’t all heal the same, we don’t all heal at the same time, and not in the same way. I don’t know what will fix LL and no one does. I know people enjoy the rush of putting a bitch in her place but LL is really sick, no other explanation but that. I don’t think she can stop easily. Look at her genetics, look at her lunatic father, he was a mess for years. LL has issues that are gonna take her years and her whole life to work out. I wish her all the best.

  169. Lia says:

They keep letting her out after 5 days, so what do they expect? She needs to spend the WHOLE 30 days in jail, and the WHOLE 90 days in rehab. A strict rehab, not one of those “cupcake camps” out there…… We’ll be reading about her death soon enough I guess.

  170. Shelley says:

@crash2go2 – very interesting points and frighteningly valid I’m afraid. A sociopath wouldn’t be bothered (in her heart no matter what show she puts on) by all things that would devastate most of us and bring us to our knees: loss of career and genuine friends, jail time, more confinement in rehab, coming within inches of killing a child in a stroller and its nanny as well, and now facing more jailtime. Plus isn’t the trial for the horrific kidnapping and driving people almost to their deaths at 120 mph still pending? Add in all the things that only LL knows she’s done, e.g., objects she’s stolen of monetary and/or personal value to both merchants and friends, other people she’s almost killed while
    DUI/DWI, and so on.

The weight of any ONE of these acts if committed by some poor struggling addict would crush and mortify – not LL. You’re so right, it’s horrifying – she’s out and about, repulsively and cheerfully in her own DeludoWorld.

  171. Bubbles says:

Girl will never get control over her life or her behavior as long as she keeps letting her mom control things. Maybe Lilo could get a third party manager that cuts the mom out of the link and lets her grow some wings already.

Addiction is a disorder of both the mind and the body, a lack of balance and control. Someone that is always seeking approval can never be comfortable with being in control and responsible for themselves. She is a victim, of her parents’ quest for their own interests. Poor girl will never get what she really needs from her parents that’s for sure. I don’t get the feeling she feels unconditionally loved and supported by them. Maybe that’s why she needs to escape by “self-medicating” ?

Does anyone know if Adderall shows up on those tests as blow or something similar?

  172. DiMi says:

You can be a sociopath AND an addict. Addiction makes sociopaths even more dangerous as Lindsay has proven. (Why has everybody forgotten that she ran over somebody’s foot – a black guy, which is why I guess it was ignored – with her car and then told the police it was “the black kid” – another guy in the car, whom she had technically kidnapped – even though everybody had seen her driving.) It’s extremely common for people with mental health issues to self-medicate with legal and illegal drugs and become addicts as well. (Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, for example. Cobain also had chronic pain issues.) I’m guessing she has borderline personality disorder in conjunction with addiction, which is not uncommon. (Many borderlines are also addicts.)

UCLA screwed up, and I’m a Bruin so it hurts me to say it. UCLA has one of the best neuro-psychiatric care centers in the country and the world so I can’t believe they released her. Whatever her particular problems may be, she never should have been released from UCLA. She should be in some kind of treatment whether for addiction or psychosis or both. Jail has had no effect. Since “rehab”, she is clearly melting down. She has hit a baby with her car, then lied about it; failed her drug test, then lied about it. She is completely out of touch with reality and she’s dangerous. I live in L.A., and I consider her a public menace.

How could UCLA let somebody that disturbed out of their program? Maybe she’s just a better actress than we thought. Or maybe they knew she was lying and realized that they were wasting their time because she didn’t want to recover.

We’ll never know what UCLA really claimed about her because her files are confidential, but something clearly went wrong when she was in that system, and now she’s in another mess.

  173. Chris says:

“You can be a sociopath AND an addict.”

That’s what I’ve been saying for weeks on this site, but some people just don’t get it. There is a very high percentage of people with mental health issues who use drugs and vice versa.

  174. Innocent says:

I don’t think UCLA screwed up. It was a psych hopsital and unless someone is a real danger to themselves such as suicidal then no one stays there for 90 days.
UCLA didn’t really have a choice to release her early she was getting out anytime after Judge Revel recused her. Even if she was taking illegal drugs prior to May then she stopped and passed all the drug tests. She had been taking the prescriptions since at least 07/08 and then it’s discovered she shouldn’t have been taking them.
No actual admissable evidence like failed drug tests or possession charges that she had taken drugs since her last time in rehab.
Also apparently she got 90 days because she was discharged after only 60 at the Cirque instead of the 90.
The Judge should have made it 30 and then the program could have decided when she was discharged.

  175. Shelley says:

At this point, if she maims or kills anyone while driving, couldn’t Los Angeles police/courts be sued by victims or their families?

  176. Samigirl says:

@dimi, I am pretty sure you hit the nail on the head. I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder when I was 17-mind you, it is just a mild case of it, and I never EVER have had a problem with drugs and alcohol, but I have wondered for some time if sister Lindsay was suffering too. We are REALLY good at pretending nothing is wrong, when really, everything is wrong and on the inside, we are screaming. However, my mommy never sugar coated or denied any wrong doing on my part for me. That being said, Dina needs to get off her ass and HELP her famous daughter before her other children follow suit.
Also, if Lindsay is a sociopath, she was probably able to pull the wool over those doc’s eyes and make them believe she was really able to change.
And, like many of you have pointed out, who is STUPID enough to do this when you know you are going to get drug tested. Well…your question has been answered.

  177. malachais says:

She’s a grown woman, she is not a child. A delusional woman at that. Until she can face her problems and stop acting like she is above the law, she will never be able to stop using.

  178. tuscan sun says:

    @ DiMi

I agree with you. I think UCLA has some accountability here, too.

  179. la chica says:

yes she is a sociopath who thinks she does not have to follow rules.

but she is also a narcissist who feels entitled to behave the way she wants.

and she is a borderline with abandonment issues.

    plus she’s an addict.

come to think of it, she is exactly like Michael Lohan.

  180. Ruby Red Lips says:

FFS – the girl is a full blown junkie and has no-one including family or courts who are doing anything at all(excepting Judge Revel who seemed to be the only person aware of Lindsay’s serious addictions)

I know Lindsay has to take responsibility for herself and is failing miserably but this is not going to end well – look at the state of her face in photos – its really scary looking at a 24yr old who looks like that

Her famewhore pimping coke snorting mother needs to take her mothering to outer space

I think her parents are prob sociopaths too, so there is no hope. Really really sad to watch play out

  181. Shelley says:

Another thought – assuming she drove herself to the pee test that came back dirty, and assuming she was photographed as the driver, is that sufficient to count as a DUI charge?

  182. Innocent says:

    @Shelley
Fortunately her assistant drove her so she must have actually been thinking ahead.
I wonder what the other drug is if it was 2 failed tests given that she only referenced one. Unless because it was cocaine and both of the tests took place within 3 days it stayed in her system.
Judge Fox hasn’t let cameras in court so far because they have been discussing medical information but since it’s a violation of probation hearing he might next week.

  183. Crash2GO2 says:

The doctors at UCLA declared her issues did not involve addiction.

Chris – yes, I am WELL aware of what goes on in rehab.

  184. Chris says:

@Crash: then how can you say that rehab will do nothing for her?

  185. CB Rawks says:

@Chris, if she’s an addict why did the doctors let her out of rehab?

  186. Chris says:

@Rawks; see post 174 on this thread. The thing with Lilo is that she doesn’t stuff up everytime she uses drugs but everytime she has stuffed up drugs have been in the picture. That makes her an addict in my book, that plus the fact that she can’t stop.

  187. Johnny'sGirl says:

    yay!!!

i enjoy your article. great job.
