Lindsay Lohan positive for coke & amphetamine (update: bench warrant issued)

wenn5543273

I barely know why I’m even doing yet another Lindsay Lohan post, considering the information TMZ just put out is something we all assumed anyway. TMZ’s sources claim that for Lindsay’s two failed drug tests last week, she tested positive for cocaine (which we already knew) and amphetamine. Meaning Adderall or Oxycontin or something along those lines. My guess? Lindsay probably cut her cocaine with crushed Adderall, like I suspect she used to do months ago. She’d get all coked and cranked up, and start raging at people on her Twitter, or she’d go out to the bars and start throwing drinks at people, enraged. Plus… she probably still has leftover Adderall prescriptions, so I can see how that would be convenient for her.

Lindsay Lohan’s second failed drug test involved amphetamines … TMZ has learned. We broke the story … Lindsay failed two drug tests — One for cocaine, and now we know the second was for amphetamines.

Our sources would not divulge the nature of the amphetamines, but Adderall — the drug Lindsay was prescribed and hooked on — is an amphetamine.

We do not know which test came first — the cocaine or the amphetamine. But we’re told both tests were taken close together. Lindsay failed her cocaine test the week before last.

[From TMZ]

Sigh… I was so bored with this story I just stopped halfway through to read this awesome Mad Men recap. I mean, yes, it’s just more of the same from Lindsay. I’m really struggling to feel something. Sometimes when I write these Lohan stories, I feel nothing but amusement. Sometimes, it’s just pure rage. But this time… God, I just wish Lindsay would stop being so obvious. She’s boring me. She needs to step it up – either go full-blown with her crack drama or go to jail or do something beyond this holding pattern of fake admissions and photo ops.

Also: where the f-ck is Dina? Mother Crackhead should have chimed in by now.

UPDATE: Lindsay’s probation has just been revoked, and a bench warrant has been issued. The warrant is on hold, however, until Friday, when Lindsay has to show up for court. Damn, they’re giving her until FRIDAY? Party at the Chateau Marmont, people! Coke and Adderall is on the house.

  1. Praise St. Angie! says:

Mother Crackhead can’t issue any denials on behalf of her “poor child” because the “child” herself has admitted there’s a problem.

perhaps Dina has realized (though I’m not holding my breath) that her statements issued to various news outlets are laughable and don’t help her daughter’s cause very much.

  2. LOVE ANGELINA says:

Mad Men was amazing last night, I decided to watch Boardwalk Empire which had to go an hour and 15 mins but thank goodness Mad Men re-runs twice. I was sooo heartbroken about Miss Blankenship. LOL Alice was sooo funny, I love how people would enter his office and like a few seconds later she was say so and so was coming into the office and they were already there. LOL I am gonna miss her. Don’s daughter Sally worries me. Homegirl is crying out for help. I love Jessica Pare, you need to see Lost and Delirious it was such amazing coming of age movie with her in it. I think she plays Megan on the show, IDK, just started watching it but she was sweet in this episode and I like how she comforted Sally when she fell.

LL is sick and honestly her drama is kinda of boring. I would like her to get better so I pray for her but like she isn’t interesting even a little. Maybe you shouldn’t cover her if she enrages you. LOL

  3. Lindsay'sSister says:

She’s hopeless. She’ll end up dead before 30.

  4. Hautie says:

Could it be that Larry, the new manager, has stopped the Mother from giving her press conferences?

  5. Jezi says:

Why am I not surprised? Saw this coming a mile away. Maybe if she wasn’t treated like some spoiled, rich brat and actually forced to do her time in jail and in rehab, she may have a chance. But she’s not going to change her life unless she wants to.

  6. Crash2GO2 says:

oxycontin is a opiate, more along the lines of her diludad prescription.

No surprise on the meth though!

  7. The Truth Fairy says:

Still waiting to see what excuse Dina comes up with for this. Who will be to blame this time?

  8. Lindsay says:

Oxycontin is a narcotic painkiller, “downers” – not an amphetamine (“uppers”) probably Adderall… but at this point I think she would take whatever she could get her hands on.

  9. redlips says:

She is truly a joke and I am amazed she can even show her face in public, which only tells me, she does not get it! Lock her up!

Denial = Don’t Even No I Am Lyin

  10. Johnny'sGirl says:

Could mom be holed up on crack? who knows? tired of these peeps

  11. Riley says:

The last time mch spoke out on her daughter’s behalf, all she could say was “poor lindsay was hardballed by a judge playing hardball.”

  12. dorothy says:

    Loser.

  13. Anaya says:

How sad. Lindsay will struggle with these addictions for the rest of her life. I hate to say it but I don’t see this young woman making it in the long run. It’s just a feeling I have. Oh, let me be wrong. I don’t wish anything bad to happen to her but I just don’t think she’ll overcome this. smh

  14. Annicka says:

I wonder if she’s gonna balloon and gain a ton of weight once she’s finally off Adderall. That stuff messes up your metabolism.

  15. Katie says:

Why are they giving her until Friday? Do they do that kind of shit for non-famous people?

  16. Madisyn says:

I wish someone would call the Beverly Hills Police Department and ask them quite frankly if, when probation is revoked and a warrant issued, is it standard policy to “put it on hold” till the judge can see her or is it policy to just go and immediately arrest her?

Could a police officer or anyone, please let me know?

  17. Tia C says:

@ Annicka: I’ve wondered the same thing. Chances are, IF she ever actually gets off the Adderall, she’ll just find some other way to stay thin. Maybe become bulimic and then have to go to rehab for that…

At this point I’m just waiting to see if she ever actually gets any real punishment. Not that I’ve ever done any time, but 2 weeks in jail does not seem like much of a punishment to me for all the DUI nonsense she’s had.

  18. TQB says:

It’s simple really, we haven’t heard from Dina because Dina has nothing to gain from admitting that Lindsay screwed up. Dina cares about one person and one person only… Which is why her daughter is such a mess.

  19. junk573r says:

I would kick a baby to never hear another story about this chick. She’s done a handful of movies that were remotely watchable. I don’t EVEN CARE ANYMORE. If I knew anyone in real life who acted this way, I would go a considerable amount out of my way to never have exposure to her, for fear that I could catch something or get crackhead by proximately. She’s hitting Paris Hilton levels of pathetic. Also, can I add, she has the worst choice in clothing I’ve ever seen. Those shorts are giving me a yeast infection just looking at them.

  20. Mrs K 2 be says:

Just a thought, but maybe some law enforcement agency could take a look at the Chateau Marmont and all the other clubs and hotels where they allow the use of illegal substances on their property….I was under the impression that this was illegal….
If she starts costing the “establishments” money and licenses then you can bet she would have to face some consequenses….

  21. Attagirl says:

She needs to be sent far far away where the vermin she hangs with can’t get at her, there are no bars, there are no parents and no paparazzi. Say a convent in Moosonee? For a long long time. That’s the only way girlfriend’s going to get clean and sober and get a total attitude adjustment.

  22. original kate says:

yeah, in what world do bench warrants get postponed for 5 days?! oh right…in celebtard world. i don’t want to hear one more word out of this spoiled bitch’s mouth about how everyone is so against her and how famous people have it so much harder.

  23. Victoria says:

@Anaya and Lindsy’s Sister: I agree! I am actually surprised she’s made it this far and is still alive. Her crap parents dont help.

  24. Persistent Cat says:

Please don’t talk about Mad Men like that in non-Mad Men recap threads. I haven’t seen Season 4 yet.

  25. Cam says:

Seriously, could we all forget about her and her crackhead drama? It’s boring me, at this point… who cares? Ok, you could say that we all care because hey! here we are, reading all about it and expressing our opinions, but I think it’s more for the bitching than for anything else… This girl and that stupid Hilton (HiLo, LOL) should know they’re NOTHING but a mess.

Please lock them up for a year or two so we can all forget about them. That’s the only way they would learn their lesson. But, of course… that’s not going to happen, sorry for daydreaming again.

  26. california angel says:

The generic name for Adderall is amphetamine so that’s why she popped for that. Oxycotin is an opiate.

  27. Chica T says:

Warrant for her arrest? Wait. Didn’t she do this already? Same sh-t different day. Crackhead foolishness. Her addiction is out of control and I agree with Kaiser, she is not going to stop until she hurts or kills someone. Maybe not even then.

  28. girlygirl says:

The real story would be if she does not turn herself in! Now that would be some cracked out shenanigans.

  29. wonderful says:

    METHamphetamine.

  30. logan says:

Second verse same as the first.
Little bit louder and a little bit worse.

  31. Jo says:

I’m curious, would the justice system allow a normal peasant also get a week to get their affairs in order?

Why does she get a week to turn herself in? A day i could see, but a week?

  32. Crash2GO2 says:

@Jo, I’m pretty sure a normal peasant with an attorney would get some time to get their affairs in order as well.

    @logan: rotfl!!!

  33. Bubbles says:

I think she’s legally on prescription Adderall, but I wonder whether the positive test for cocaine could have been to something else she has a valid script for? If so, she could still get out of this mess…

Won’t they ask for some experts review of the test results and a retest before sending her back to jail?

  34. eja102 says:

I hate it, but I surprised by this. I followed this stupid story, watched her in court and kinda though, when she did her time (as it were) that she would change her behaviours and learn.
I believe Paris more, who looked a bit smug but more nervous and contrite.
I don’t get this girl, this throwing it away for what?

  35. Michelle says:

I agree with “wonderful” that Lindsay was probably taking Methamphetamine.
Adderall is a combination of two different kinds of amphetamine in a time-released form. I use it with some of my ADD patients that I treat. However “Crystal Meth”, the more powerful street drug would also give a positive urine test for amphetamines. I suspect the latter would be Lindsay’s drug of choice as it has a much more powerful “kick”. It’s also highly addictive and damaging to the brain.
    (Dr. Michelle)

  36. Manda3 says:

@TQB: Your are so right. Her whole family was built on a ME basis.
@Junk573r: HA-HA I would so kick a baby as well to never here about this piece of crap spoiled ass family. Everyone turn your head. Then there will be no grounds for showing off and failing drug tests. GO TO JAIL BITCH.

  37. logan says:

@Crash2G02, sorry but not familiar with
    rotfl.

  38. Super Sleuth says:

I love me some Mad Men! A moment of silence for Miss Blankenship…. and I loved the line she said to Peggy, “It’s a business of sadists and masochists, and you know which one you are.”
I saw “The Town” Saturday and John Hamm couldn’t get any sexier with that five o’clock shadow! Great movie, by the way.

    I’m over Blohan.

  39. mln says:

A bench warrant just means she has to go to court or else she’ll be arrested not that she is actually going to jail or court ordered rehab I hope the new judge has Cohones this time although Lindsay and her lawyers have proven they will do anything to avoid her facing consequences.

  40. Madisyn says:

This is NOT her first probation violation but her SECOND! Lock her up and throw away the key!

  41. Super Sleuth says:

Logan: Crash meant your post was so funny she was ROLLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING! 🙂

  42. skilo says:

I’ve seen several posts saying Lindsey has a prescription for adderal, but when she was at UCLA they said she was wrongfully prescribed adderal, so she was probably told to stop taking it. If she was told that, and then kept taking it that would be a violation. I’m waiting to see which one of the broke-hans will be first to sue the Doc who wrongfully prescribed it to her.

  43. logan says:

Super Sleuth, thank you. I always get a little worried when I see an “f” in there.

  44. original kate says:

“I would kick a baby to never hear another story about this chick. ”

    @ junk: BWAH HA HA!

  45. Super Sleuth says:

    Logan: ROTFL!!!!!!!!, too!!! 🙂

  46. serena says:

There’s nothing to do, she really is dumb.

  47. AuroraInBoston says:

Dilaudid Rocks! LOL!!!! I get it when I go to the ER when I get a cellulitus infection.

    Lindsay is so boring!

  48. WhoDat says:

“Adderall is a combination of two different kinds of amphetamine in a time-released form. I use it with some of my ADD patients that I treat.
    (Dr. Michelle)”

Thank you Dr Michelle for poiunting out what Adderall is…
Im tired of all the know alls equating it with street drugs because if a person really has ADD it is life changing-I know, Im one of them and it does not speed me up-it calms me down and I am on the time release twice a day-it doesnt keep me awake, give me the jitters, screw up my metabolism or anything else…I take it as prescribed and as I said it has changed my life and in fact I believe has saved my marriage so for all you know it alls-try walking a few steps in my shoes and then comment…

  50. Marie says:

@junk LMAO!! I woke up my baby I laughed so hard. Thanks!

  51. Marie says:

Oh by the way I see where TMZ is reporting E Trade settled out of court with the cokehead.

  52. l says:

    @ Kaiser:

Although I absolutely wish this chick would go away forever, so i can stop reading about her, I need you to do a post about the milk-a-holic lawsuit. They SETTLED!!!! I am so disgusted by this, I truly am.

  53. Confuzzle says:

😆 will she make it to Friday?

  54. wunderkindt says:

Those cracked out, second hand shorts are proof she’s in deep denial.

  55. Carrie says:

I’m a third year law student who has worked for the district attorney and am currently clerking for a criminal court judge. I’m not in California (different state), but here’s what I can tell you about how probation violations/bench warrants are typically handled:

    1. Person is put on probation, and the judge sets the terms of that probation from a “menu” of standard terms and any others that the judge deems applicable in the case (generally: follow all laws, refrain from drugs/alcohol, check in with probation officer, complete treatment, etc.)

    2. Person violates some term of their probation.

    3. District Attorney, Probation Officer, or court staff alerts judge to the violation, and Judge issues a bench warrant for person’s arrest.

    4. Police arrest person (sometimes, depending on how easy person is to locate. Some people get picked up right away, some people get picked up because they commit another crime, and some people never get picked up.)

    5. Person stays in jail until they can be brought before a judge, typically no longer than 36 hours (there are statutes delineating exactly how long a person can be held without a hearing, but typically not more than 36 hours).

    6. Person appears at a probation violation hearing, where judge either clears the bench warrant and person is free (very unlikely), or judge revokes probation and sentences person to whatever jail time they have left on their sentence, or was stated in the probation agreement, or is statutorily proscribed.

    7. Person goes to jail.

Generally speaking, probation violators do receive a jail sentence. However, since jails are overcrowded everywhere unless it is an egregious offense or violation (think violence, etc.) the person will be out long before the sentence served.

That Lindsay got out of jail early is not that surprising, or that unusual.

That Lindsay is getting a week to respond to her bench warrant is extraordinary.

  56. CB Rawks says:

White Oprah made such a fool of herself in the Matt Lauer interview, and every delusional comment and flat out lie she told must be ringing in her head. So if I was her I would be hiding under my bed not answering the phone, much less making statements. 🙂
Also, HAH!! I hate that bitch.

  57. Bee says:

@Love Angelina I agree that Mad Men was fantastic last night. And what episode of Mad Men isn’t some kind of wonderful? I’ll definitely miss Miss Blakenship’s one liners. However, I didn’t like one of her lines from “The Suitcase” episode. And I’m sure MM aficionados know the line I’m referring too. Kaiser would you ever consider recapping Mad Men? I’d love to hear your take on the episodes.

  58. bellaluna says:

I just have nothing else to say about this mess (Blohan). What’s left?

  59. Jag says:

She’s supposed to go to jail for 30 days for each failed drug test. Since she’s still getting preferential treatment – hence the being able to come in at her leisure on Friday – it’ll probably be more like 30 minutes. The court system disgusts me.

  60. GatsbyGal says:

Why IS she still getting special treatment? It’s not like she’s an A-list celeb anymore. She holds no clout in Hollywood. There are directors who would sooner blind themselves with grapefruit spoons than have Blowhan be atteached to their movies. So why is she getting treated like a big-name by Johnny Law? Baffles me.

Also, the silence of Dina is so telling. That woman was saying for months and months and Lindsay doesn’t have a problem and that the courts are after her just because she’s a celebrity – and now that there’s ACTUAL PROOF that Lindsay is a cokehead, she’s eating her words.

  61. Trillion says:

I can’t believe she can button and unbutton those pants all by herself.

  62. raincoaster says:

She’s so cracked out she forgot your hat should never be bigger than your hot pants.

  63. skeptical says:

Last time this happened lindsay and sam were holed up in sam’s house with a broken window, probably broken by lindsay. Sam looked like death.
Well lilo got herself another warrant and right on cue sam looks like death.pics on x17 are not flattering. And if she’s really hanging with hervey… isn’t victoria hervey a lindsay pal? What is it with these two?
Lindsay needs to go to jail and sam needs to go to a nice, quiet, padded cell with lots of therapy.
And they both need to stay there for a good 6 months.

  64. mary jane says:

    Thanks Carrie for explanation.

  65. leena says:

just a thought… do all the terms she is currently under still apply? for instance, might she be randomly drug tested again before friday comes? in that case, the court is BRILLIANT because she will surely test dirty at least once more before friday and then add to her sentence!

  66. d says:

    Bootcamp, Lindsay.
    Lindsay, Bootcamp.
    Good luck.
    See you in a year.

    *if only*

  67. NicoleAM says:

And Vanity Fair had the nerve to put this mess on their cover?

  68. poopie says:

wonder what will be painted on her fingernail this time

  69. Thor says:

Wouldn’t it be easier for anyone if she’d od’d already? She is not that interesting you know.

  70. aj says:

Like it or not Lindsay is the perfect reflection of our society. She is the product of our desires.

  71. kate says:

I for one would love to share a cell with Linds. She rocks.

  72. Lardy Chops says:

That’s a lot of baby buggies that could get sideswiped between now and Friday. Keep your kids off the streets, folks.

  73. Jazz says:

Why are they giving her until Friday? If it was anyone else, they would be thrown right back in jail. Hell, if it was anyone else, they never would of been let out early in the first place.

  74. Crash2GO2 says:

Mama Lohan must be PISSED. Her meal ticket just gave her a big F*ckU. What is there for her to say?

An evil thought – maybe they are giving her until Friday because they secretly hope she will OD and rid the world of her pestilent self.

Oh, and Kaiser – she’s not taking Adderall – she’s probably taking methamphetamine. Dr. Michelle gave a great explanation here in the comments. Now that Lindsay’s a loose cannon, why would she stick to tame ol’ Adderall??

  75. Bodhi says:

Maybe she still had some Adderall at home? We didn’t hear anything about her having to get rid of all of her meds; not that it didn’t happen. And she could have gotten some pills from a friend. Doesn’t everyone in HollyWierd eat Adderall?

  76. Moreaces says:

Both her and Paris really need to grow up, they are no longer teens, I feel more sorry for Lindsey because I think she is much more addicted than Paris, I think Paris is a waste of space,, but I think she is more of a recreationally user,, Lohan is very addicted, I hope she gets help, and grows up,, and stays away from her parents.

  77. Persistent Cat says:

Seriously, can you not give Mad Men spoilers to those of us who aren’t caught up? I thought I asked nicely once. Read the comments before posting and think first.

  78. Kelly says:

I hope she turns into Cristy from Intervention, season 2.

  79. yoplait says:

I wonder where she will write “F*ck You” this time when she shows up in court.
