If there is one person in Hollywood who doesn’t deserve a break, even after serving prison time and being treated like a pariah by most of his old good-time party pals, it’s Joe Francis. This guy gives the term “scumbag” a new meaning, getting rich by preying on drunk college girls who will be ashamed and embarrassed for the rest of their lives. So any time I read about Joey Boy taking yet another financial beating, it pretty much makes my day. The Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas has been publicly pursuing several celebs with outstanding gambling debts lately, including NBA stars Charles Barkley, who owed the casino $400,000 and Alonzo Mourning. Now, they’re setting their sights on Francis, who allegedly owes the casino $2 million.
“Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis’ legal problems increased after the Wynn Las Vegas filed a $2 million lawsuit against him for unpaid gambling debts dating back to February 2007.
The Strip resort filed the suit Friday.
“As far as Mr. Francis is concerned, his obligations to the Wynn hotel have been fully lived up to per prior agreements,” a spokesman for Francis said today.
A Wynn Las Vegas representative declined to comment.
Francis is currently free on bail pending his trial on tax evasion charges in Reno. A trial date has not been set.
Hey, look, the economy is rotten and these casinos are no doubt taking a beating right now. They can’t let these so-called high rollers rack up hundreds of thousands or even millions in debt and get away with it. These guys are lucky it’s not the old days of Las Vegas, or Joe would have a lot more to worry about than a lawsuit. Someone might come along and wreck those pretty fake teeth of his, or worse. Hey, I can dream, can’t I?
Joe Francis and Spencer Pratt are shown at the release party for the second issue of Girls Gone Wild Magazine on 6/4/08, thanks WENN photographer Rachel Worth.

Bleh. What two ugly personalities.

lmfao @ geronimo’s comment…

I know he’s disgusting and a scumbag…BUT… I still find him kind of hot in a dirty, take-this-secret-to-the-grave kind of way. Am I alone in that?

@ Because I Say So
Yes.
But the first step is admitting it.

That picture says it all. What has become of this world?
-
He must be going broke. Maybe Spencer can loan him some of his supposed multi-millions.
-
And don’t forget, Francis Haters (of which I am one)… he’s friends with Pity Party Aniston, and gives her free access to his Mexican home. Blech.
-
Why hasn’t an angry father beaten the hell out of this douchewad? America has lost its edge, I tell you.
-
Not a fan of Francis..but these girls put themselves in this situation. He didn’t put a gun to their heads, force them to get drunk and take pictures of them. I agree he shouldn’t be taking advantage of young impressionable girls but they need to take responsibility for their actions.

He is disgusting.

This guy has ruined steel drum music forever.

Haha at Trillion.
I too am shocked that some father of a girl gone wild hasnt taken matters into his own hands.
This is one guy who has anything he gets in life coming to him.
