@Jenna-most actors don’t wear their wedding rings when they do SNL. They have tons of other costumes/jewelry and stuff to wear pertaining to their characters. It’s something I have noticed through the years as well.
That being said, I love both of them, but I never thought this marriage would last forever. It’s sad, but I actually think he seems more into her than she does, into him. Hell, she almost forgot to include him in her acceptance speech when she won her Tony! And if she doesn’t want him, I would be more than happy to take him off her hands. I hear he REALLY wants a family and she isn’t into it yet. I have a kid, and am willing to make more, RR!

I can’t stand Ryan Reynolds, so I hope ScarJo breaks free. According to Lainey he’s a narcissistic douche. I didn’t like how he ended things with Alanis and then jumped into a relationship/marriage with ScarJo.
Love how karma works out because now Alanis is happily married with a baby on the way and he’s still a petty unhappy douche (remember his hissy fit over Comic Con a couple of years ago? Why did ScarJo marry him?).
When Scar Jo got married my reaction was why? She was/is young, she can have any man she wants, and she’s not mature enough even now to make a choice that, in theory, should be for her lifetime.
My niece, an extremely stable person at 31, has an extremely stable boyfriend, and they’re still taking their time.
I’ve read many essays of late that say that now that people aren’t dying from consumption or gangrene or getting pitched by their breeding stallion (infectious disease or accidents), maybe marriage should no longer be considered a forever institution but a “life phase”. Aside from the fact that people live much longer, they also change so much over time-especially between the 20’s-30’s and the 30’s and 40’s.
I hope ScarJo will wait longer before marriage #2. It’s still sad that ScarJo will have a “starter marriage”in here past.
She is so above him in looks, talent, fame etc. They are an odd couple to me. She could do soooo much better. Its like a a list celeb (her) married to a dlist celeb (him).
I was just looking at Ryan’s face on the cover of People, and he does look like such a douche! For someone who’s usually pretty private, there was a lot of information in the article- I wonder if he’s feeling like it’s time to remind Scarjo what she’s missing! ( I did think she was pretty funny on SNL last week-end)
I like Ryan Reynolds, cannot stand ScarJo. I also thought she seemed way too young/immature to settle down, especially with a big age difference.
I think the tabloids want them to break up because they refuse to use their private lives for PR. That’s a sin in the celeb world–you have to open up and reveal everything! I hope they are fine. I respect the fact that they want their privacy and aren’t exploiting their lives for PR.
I don’t think the tabloids or media want to break them up at all. I actually think nobody really gives a shit one way or another. They are not an interesting couple. People love to scream that certain couples use their relationship for PR.. the thing is when there is an interest in a couple that is what drives the tabloids (demand for stories true or fake). Certain couples are on those covers because they sell. they sell because the public eats up that shit written about them. Stories about Ryan and Scarlett don’t sell so there is no interest in putting them on covers. This is not a difficult concept to grasp.
When stories about certain celebs get tons of hits or comments then SURPRISE.. More stories are printed.. Many of these couples on rag covers give few interviews unless they are YES promoting their films. Other then that we don’t see them at every event and function. The celebs running to these are the ones that are PR hounds.
It is easy to have a Private life when the demand for news on you is little to none. Scarlett and Ryan are lucky that the public is not overly interested in them. If they were we would see more of them on mag covers and blogs and they would be hounded more by the paps..
So yeah they can be private. Especially when no one is looking at them to begin with.

That’s because there is no demand for pics of them.The celebs we see on the magazines are the celebs that sell magazines.As a matter of fact I got Ryan Reynolds mixed up with Ryan Gosling(from Half Nelson -great film)when I was trying to explain to someone who he was.
Kim so true. I saw that same thing on so many sites. A lot of people were like Who the hell is he. And yes I think many are thinking he is RG. And when they find out the mistake they are disappoint. RR has a great body but so do most of the men in HW.. it is a requirement I think. But he is not the least bit sexy to me. Just blah. And Scarlett is a super hot woman. Amazing body and face, but she never comes across as I don’t know how to explain it. She is sexy in pix, but not on the screen. I may be off base. And regarding the comments of her being immature. I never saw that. I think she is too mature for her age. She acts like an old woman trapped in a sexy body.
I never understood why Scarlet married Ryan Reynolds… she always said she liked older men.
