Sienna Miller is one great big bundle of contradictions. Or a hypocrite, depending on how you want to put it. The woman is barely able to keep her top on. I cannot think of any celebrity whose breasts I’ve seen so often I could pick them out of a lineup. And though she seems physically incapable of keeping her shirt on in public, Sienna Miller is suing over the slew of boobie pics of late – and there have been tons. Taken on multiple occasions.
Sienna Miller is suing two media organizations over the topless photos of her vacationing with new beau Balthazar Getty.
According to London’s The Guardian, she claims photo agency Big Pictures and British tabloids News of the World and the Sun violated her privacy by publishing photos and stories about her new romance.
The suit comes days after Getty announced he and his wife Rosetta (with whom he has four children) have separated. In a statement, the actor said “the breakdown of a marriage is a very difficult and painful experience especially when children are involved.” He added that the photos that “have surfaced in print and on the Internet” have “caused myself and my family great embarrassment.”

Sienna doesn’t just have a history of walking around al fresco, she also has a long history of suing photographers over it. And winning. I’m not saying the woman doesn’t have a right to privacy. And I’m not saying she shouldn’t be able to walk around topless where it’s legal, if that’s what she wants to do. But it’s just about publicity.
If Miller really didn’t want her nipples splashed across the pages of The Sun, then she should keep them behind a nice peasant top. It’s crazy how that works. If you keep your nipples to yourself, photographers won’t take pictures of them. If you go outdoors and shove them into your boyfriend’s hands, photographers will take pictures of them. It’s a pretty simple equation, really.
I hope this lawsuit gets thrown out. It makes me think of the morbidly obese man who sued Wendy’s restaurants because the booths weren’t large enough for him to sit in. As the judge pointed out, the man was too large for the booths, it wasn’t that the booths are too small. Thus the man was ordered by the judge to lose weight (though I’m not saying that was necessarily an appropriate solution in that case).
Similarly, Sienna seems to have confused the essential issue here. It’s not like photographers were snapping pictures of here walking around inside her house naked. She was outdoors on a boat. And on a deck. And a couple other places. She’s been shirtless so often lately that it’s hard to keep track. The judge should order her to keep her top on in public. Or take it off, for all I care. She just needs to stop complaining about the logical result of her actions.

She’s an obsessive exhibitionist, always trying to call attention to herself. I worked with a girl like that once - very pretty and would dress very provocatively. She’d deliberately lean over in loose, revealing tops to show off her boobs, or bend over to flash her pantie-less panouche at guys then get all princess huffy-muff when they gaped at her. She’s just saying she’s suing for more attention, as if she’s a huge star and her reputation is being ruined. She’s a dirtbag, and really acts in independent movies, nothing big. I guess if you are getting breast exams and gynocological help from a Getty then maybe it’s not so private, not so sure she has a case. But good luck with that.

It is an infringement of rights to publish explicit and/or damaging photographs without the subject’s consent.
Expressing distaste for Miller’s personal choices is one thing, but poo-pooing her right to defend herself against public attack is a different issue altogether. -

What bugs me is that I can see the PR wheels turning here–Sienna screwing married man with no consideration for his wife and children (and looks all happy and naked doing it)…Sienna maybe losing career because people think she’s adulterous trash…Sienna makes noise about suing so people MAY feel sorry that her privacy was violated(HAH!), or to suggest that she feels belatedly embarassed…which might possibly redeem her a bit with the public (NOT!!)

Uh…yeah. She’s suing because she fooled around with a married man? Or because she did it out in public? Perhaps it’s because she was out in public nekkid? I don’t know why he got angry about this either. People assume that if you’re married to someone then you’re married to them, I would have thought he’d be eager for people to know he was separated from his wife because of all the photos of him and Sienna doing the rounds. And also, if you’re a celebrity and you don’t want pictures of your boobs on the internet, keep your clothes on in public.

It’s easier for celebrities to win cases like this in England. She might have a case with the photos taken of them inside their hotel room and on their balcony. But even those might be mitigated by the fact that she was running around a public beach for days (even after photos started coming out) with the married guy but without a top.

On another thread, someone made the argument that, because Brad and Angie have sold pics of their kids, therefore they have no right to complain if someone tresspasses on their property to take pictures of their family without permission.
I was really, really angry about that–not because of it being the Jolie-Pitts, but just the principal of it.
So, now, having thought it over, much as I thouroughly dislike Sienna Miller, I will say that, while if she is going to go topless on a public beach, then any pictures taken are just too bad, but she does have the right to privacy in her home (or hotel).
(Whether this applies to the balcony as well, I would say it depends on whether the photographer tresspassed on private property to get the photo or not.) -

I fear I´m so often topless at the beach as Sienna Miller - maybe more often. I understand her very well that her top comes down so quick as possible. It´s nothing wrong or immoral at this not being able to keep the top on
- and I think, too, Sienna Miller wouldn´t have had any problems with being photographed topless at the beach (like so many times before).I think the core point was that she was photographed in intimate situations with a married father of four children who´s marriage broke down over it. And btw she was topless and is now thinking that it is possible to draw away this pic´s from the public on the topless-sideway - because they´re really able - in opposite to the view of her nude nipple´s - to give her a bad image.
In my eyes there should be enforced a simple rule: privacy in the private area; publicity in the public area. When a female celebrity is making it out with a married guy at a public beach than the press has a constitutional right to report about it - otherwise this freedom will pass away and we will see and read only censored news.
If Sienna Miller would have fu..ed Balthazar Getty only in her or his sleeping room it would have been a totally other case.
