The X-Files Gillian Anderson makes pregnancy sound pretty sweet. According to her, she spends most of her time laying around on her butt and eating. Which makes the morning sickness sound significantly less awful. Though I think a lot of us do that without being pregnant too… sad. Gillian has been doing a lot of promotion for the X-Files moved I Want to Believe. Which I can imagine can be pretty strenuous, especially when you’re pregnant. But she seems to have held up pretty well, and is just enjoying her pregnancy and keeping it pretty stress-free.
No working out for Gillian Anderson — who is expecting a child in October.
“The only thing I do when I’m pregnant is eat and sit on my butt!” the X-Files: I Want to Believe star, 39, told Usmagazine.com at the movie’s Hollywood premiere Wednesday. (The flick opens Friday.)
“I’m not really craving anything, but there’s the lazy part of me that thinks, ‘What’s the point in working out until I have the baby?’ Then we’ll actually do something!” she said.
“I know that’s not necessarily the right way to look at it,” she added, “but that’s just me.”
Anderson told Us besides having “a couple of films coming out later in the year that I’ll do some promotion for,” she plans on focusing her life on mommyhood.
She and beau Mark Griffiths are already parents to son Oscar, 20 months. She also has a daughter Piper, 13, from a prior marriage.

Anderson’s co-star David Duchovny made a bit of a stir by not showing up with his wife, Tea Leoni, at the premiere. He also claimed that he saw a UFO in 1982, but he was really stressed at the time. Which makes it rather unclear as to whether or not he thinks he saw a UFO.

A celebrity being honest about pregnancy. Sitting on her butt and eating, I love it….and she looks gorgeous. Goes to show other celebs that you don’t have to work out constantly whilst pregnant to look fab. -

what? the left pic is a promo shot for a magazine shorty after the movie wrapped and the right pic is a still from the movie. so what are you trying to say??? they were taken just weeks apart…
gillian never had a nose job or whatever. deal with it. if she had something done we´d know AND accept. but you starting rumours and giving us fans shit is making me really angry. know your facts and don´t make them up or believe something you MAY have heard/read. we met her. some people in this industry are not what they are supposed to be, huh? that´s hard for you, i know. -
I don’t know if she had a nose job or not and i couldn’t care less, but judging from these pictures you gave as an example, i would say no.
Where you do see the difference? -
there is no difference, because there never was a nosejob and the pics were taken only weeks apart. not ONE of them is from the series and you pointed out that her nose looked different on the show. so no, your example shows not a thing. plus it´s the left pic was photoshopped to death…it barely has any resemblance to gillian…

Oh for crying out loud, people, who CARES if Gillian had a friggin nose job? And if she did (and in my humble opinion, those two pics look the same to me - features wise), please explain HOW that would lessen her in regards to her integrity? Puhlease.

I’m forty five years old, just retired and as you can tell I have a whole lot of energy and time on my hands. I first saw Miss Anderson around the second season of the XFs. I thought she was amazing then. Off and on I would catch the show or her in something else but I was gone a lot and very busy. A while back I started writing a book and one chapter deals with high profile people and charity. I wanted to find at least five who I could respect to include. I started with a random list using the alphabet. She placed as as one of THREE I ended up with. I researched these three digging everywhere I could. My time in the army took me to numerous different countries and I’ve seen all types of women, all beautiful in their own way of course. My career was much the same as far as travel. When I recently saw Miss Anderson with her natural hair, without all the XFs makeup and caught in a candid moment I realized that at 39 she is possibly the most naturally and uniquely beautiful woman I have ever seen. Her eyes are stunning. Considering what I’ve done during my life, just being a celebrity won’t get my respect, definatley not my admiration. She gets my respect by not banging a political drum, for not chasing every camera that’s handy, for keeping her life as private as she can, for living a very busy life exactly how she wants to. As far as her having work done, why would she? If she did it was very subtle (thank God) her body has always appeared flawless to me, tiny but perfectly proportioned. I just don’t see vanity as being a problem for her. If her back forty is as nice as her first forty, I can’t wait until she’s fifty.

Seriously we should all wish her and her’s the very best and remind her man that he better (and should want to)court her every day for the rest of his life. I’m sure he knows the wolves are always at the door.
