I have a question for all of the California residents out there – more specifically, anyone residing in Palm Springs: How late do hair salons stay open out there? Because over here in the South, most everything shuts down at, say, eight or nine o’clock, at the latest. This is important, because Lindsay Lohan’s defense is that she broke curfew at her sober house because she was getting her hair done… until 1 am. And here’s an added wrinkle: not only was she “getting her hair done” until 1 am, she was also drinking Shirley Temples! Our Blohan is such a good little girl!

Lindsay Lohan is finding Dawn Holland’s claim she was drinking hard to swallow — sources close to LiLo say the only thing she was downing the night in question were Shirley Temples.

We’re told Lindsay met up with a friend at the Viceroy Hotel in Palm Springs, CA on December 11 to have her hair done. While there, our sources say Lindsay knocked back the non-alcoholic mixed drink … along with an order of equally non-toxic french fries.

Our sources say Lindsay eventually headed back to her sober house — completely sober — at around 1 AM … and that’s when all hell broke loose.

Holland claims she smelled alcohol on Lindsay’s breath, but LiLo refused to take a breathalyzer.

Yeah. I used to drink Shirley Temples… when I was seven years old. They’re very good! When you’re seven. Also, do they serve Shirley Temples at hair salons? Did Lindsay send her Shirley Temple order to the hotel bar, and they brought it over to the hair salon… at 1 am? What am I saying? Of course Lindsay is telling the truth! It’s not like she has a history of crack lies and crack hustles and being a vicious, abusive coked-up terror who hijacks cars and screams at people for no reason. She’s always the victim, you know:

Lindsay is squarely disputing the story chemical dependency technician Dawn Holland told TMZ … that Lindsay attacked her and caused her to sprain her arm so severely she’s on workers’ comp. Lindsay says, for starters, she wasn’t even with her two roommates hours before the incident. Lindsay says she was out getting her hair done.

Lindsay is telling her friends and family, when she returned to the house, Holland grabbed her abruptly and pushed her so hard, Lindsay began to cry.

Lindsay says that’s when she went inside the house and called 911.

As for refusing to take a breathalyzer, Lindsay says she actually asked Holland to give her a test but Holland refused.

Lindsay claims there were not only witnesses that saw everything … there are surveillance cameras to prove her story. Michael Lohan also defended Lindsay … by saying she was just acting in self defense.

“There are surveillance cameras to prove her story”… yeah, we’ll see about that. It will be very interesting to see if the camera picked up the incident, and whether they will show that Lindsay was just the “victim”. My guess is that “there are surveillance cameras to prove her story” is just another temporary crack lie that will be torpedoed when the tapes show that she in fact was drunk and violent. Just my guess. Also, did you hear the one about Mother Crackhead advising Lindsay to not submit to an alcohol test that night? Yeah. Did you know that someone undergoing court-ordered rehab can just flat-out refuse? I didn’t.
