She’s definitely beautiful. Very mobile, very expressive face, nothing fake or bland about those looks.

She’s a pretty girl. I adore her accent. She will forever look like a 5 yr. old girl. She has the face of a child. She should not complain about her looks. I hope she isn’t comparing herself to Salma Hayek. They are both beautiful but in different ways.

Penelope Cruz doesn’t think she’s beautiful?? She’s out of her god-damned mind. She’s stunningly beautiful. I think my favourite of the roles I’ve seen her play is when she was in Pedro Almodóvar’s Volver. That song she sings will – WILL – bring the tears, trust me.

I actually know quite a few people who don’t find Penelope Cruz attractive. I thought that it was a pretty well known fact that you either like her looks or ya’ don’t. I’d say it’s 50/50. Being that women think she’s beautiful, and men think she looks like a horse.

She doesn’t have a standard, cookie-cutter Hollywood look and I would agree that she’s not perfectly beautiful, but is stunning. I know other people who also don’t consider her beautiful, so I don’t think this is mock humility.

That’s funny you should say that. Molli ’cause my own boyfriend doesn’t find her beautiful, yet I really do. And I rather like her “annoying voice,” it’s cute to me. She’s a woman’s woman, I guess. And yes, I don’t think it’s mock humility either, even beautiful women have self-critical self-esteem issues. We read about it all the time, famous models griping about their flaws, etcetera.

If you isolate and consider just her face, she’s not that aesthetic – large nose, sticky outy ears, eyes too deep set. But the overall package of hair, face, body, accent and talent is absolutely stunning. If I could be anyone, it’d be her.

I think she represents a true “spanish” beauty. I am half spanish and i use to never think she was pretty but her face is interesting.. She has all these features that would make her ugly like that long nose, but it works on her and she doesn’t look like everyone else which I like.

Salma Hayek has had cosmetic surgery on her face, so I don’t consider her to be a natural beauty. Penelope looks like a naturally beautiful Latina.

I think she is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen! I have always wanted to look just like her.I have been told that I have some of her features but not everything that she has. I wish though. I have never wanted to look like anyone else.I am surprised by some of these comments about her being so ugly. Every man that I have ever met has never been able to take his eyes off of her in a movie.Including my brother and my dad. She has a gorgeous face and a knockout body.Honestly I wish I could look just like her.

I am Spanish. Penelope is not a typical Spanish beauty. She is not considered beautiful in Spain, she is average/cute.
Penelope looks the way she does because she has jewish ancestry. She is a sepharad and has plenty of jewish blood. She looks jewish and has jewish genes (but not religion).
She is a cute jewish Spanish girl but she is definitely not considered beautiful in Spain.
When made up and all that, she is stunning, though, and this is one of the reasons that she is so successful. She also has a cute accent and is a very good actress. Believe me if she were not a good actress, Americans would not have voted for her. Americans do not exactly love Spanish people…….Remember that Ellen Degeneres called her a European Mexican, which of course was quite stupid of her, but shows her obvious hostility.
