Even though she’s more famous for showing her boobs than any of the so-called “work” she’s ever done, actress Lindsay Lohan says she won’t be baring her breasts for Playboy. The gentlemen’s mag offered her $700,000 to take it all off for their 55th Anniversary issue, but apparently Lohan has suddenly found dignity and can’t bring herself to shed some skin for the masses.
IT’S once nude, twice shy for Lindsay Lohan. The Sapphic-leaning star has turned down a $700,000 offer to do an eight-page topless spread in Playboy’s 55th-anniversary issue this January. “If there’s nudity, then the answer’s no . . . She’s not going down the [New York] magazine road again,” Lohan’s rep told Playboy’s creative consultant, Hal Lifson, referring to Lindsay’s naked Marilyn Monroe tribute last winter. Lifson said he hoped to have Lohan do a tribute to ’60s sex kitten Ann-Margret and her film “Kitten With a Whip,” which is one of Lohan’s faves.

Lohan really isn’t in any position to be turning down any work according to most insiders. For the last few years she’s been consistently reported to be pretty cash strapped. $700,000 is a lot of purses. Not only has she posed naked in the very recent past for New York Magazine, but she dresses in a manner to ensure that she’s constantly giving nipple slips to any guy who will so much as pass her the butter. Normally I wouldn’t be encouraging someone who doesn’t want to go topless to bare the goods, but in her case what’s the harm? It’s nothing we haven’t seen (in excess) before.

Yeah, way to go, lilo. Wouldn’t want people to think you’re trashy or something.
They probably didn’t even ask her, because I really can’t see her turning down another chance to flash her bits to the world.

I believe this has a lot more to do with Lindsay Lohan trying to maintain some credibility and save her reputation after all. Being Samantha Ronson’s rather low key and steady girlfriend has done some wonders (although limited).
She has a film coming up. And she might actually want cash from a real carreer: it would be wise and self constructive.
Posing naked imitating Monroe in the New York Magazine is one thing. Being a naked Playgirl is another.
I do understand her position in this rather delicate situation and respect her choice. Highly support it even! Although I am no LiLo fan at all and have only seen the girl when I was forced to endure Mean Girls while babysitting. -

I thought people weren’t supposed to talk about how much the girls get for posing. Don’t they have to sign a confidentiality agreement saying they’ll never say how much they got? I would think it would be the same for offers, so no one can come back and say “How come she got more than me? I’m hotter!” or some crap. I don’t know, I think Lindsay should do it. It’s not like we haven’t seen it all before.

I’m surprised her father didn’t blackmail Lindsay into taking the job. He’d make some public statement condemning nude pics, of course, but secretly count the cash with a smile.
