She’s trying way too hard with the country stuff. Just because you sing country doesn’t mean you have to look like you just stepped out of a bad western-outfitters store. Too much of the turquoise. Too much of the jean look. Too much of the plad and ugly print. Stay natural and you’ll be find boyfriend. Oops! I meant “girlfriend”. My Tony disappoints me.

I saw Ms. Simpson perform at the Opry the other night (I stayed in) & it was horrible. Her songs aren’t that good but I couldnt help feeling bad for her. She was extremely nervous & awkward. Give the titty girl a break…

Seeing it live, I have to say she stopped the song after like ten seconds, and started it right back up, and it really wasn’t that bad. And you know what? The audience didn’t seem to care.

Did anyone see this performance? I caught a clip on another site and she is singing with an accent now. She is pathetic. Does she even know who she is anymore? Yes, she grew up in Texas and I am sure there is some remnants of an accent, but to be SO twangy singing this song, when she never was before…. Guess it’s cuz she’s country now, y’all!

I don’t mind Jessica that much. She is a total space cadet & seriously needs to install a brain/mouth filter, but she doesn’t outright offend me the way LL, Brit, Paris & Co. do/did.

Take a listen to Terri Clark. She’s been around for years now, multiple chart toppers, very popular…. and twangy as hell. Terri Clark is from CANADA.
A country twang is something that a whole hell of alot of country singers do, so hate Jessica for whatever, but don’t expect something different from her than every other country singer does.

I’m loathe to admit it, but I did watch a few episodes of the Newlyweds (hey, I was in college – I was “experimenting”) and Dummy would always whine whenever Hubby watched sports. To be fair though, she may have been just whining for attention, not necessarily because she was bored. (I reckon anybody as stupid as Jessica would be entertained for hours by a shiny string, or a bright light on the wall.)
