Is Pink trying out Scientology?

Pink is said to be the latest would-be convert to one of the world’s most dangerous and celebrity-friendly cults, Scientology. The newly divorced 29 year-old is friends with member Juliette Lewis, who has convinced her to try it. This news originated in Star so it’s hopefully completely fabricated. If it’s true though you can bet that Pink is being treated like royalty and has a whole new crop of wide-eyed friends hoping to bring her deeper into the fold. Cult leader David Miscavige may be facing a PR crisis that can’t be convinced to commit suicide but he can still bend over backwards to attract celebrity clientele and all their cash.

Pop star Pink has reportedly turned to Scientology to help her move on after her split from husband Carey Hart.

The pair’s two-year marriage ended earlier this year, and friends reveal the singer has sought comfort from pal Juliette Lewis, who is introducing her to the controversial religion, which is popular with superstars such as Beck, Lisa Marie Presley, Tom Cruise and John Travolta.

A source tells Star magazine, “Pink is in the beginning stages of checking out the religion, but she has taken to it and she wants to get more involved.”

Pink – it’s called Google, just use it. Just because your friend is brainwashed doesn’t mean you have to be too. There’s still time – get out now. If you need help getting through a rough time go to the self help section in your local Barnes & Noble. Better yet – go to therapy. Psychologists and psychiatrists are your friends. You’ll be a lot better off in the long run.

    Oh NOOOOO!!! 😮
I like Pink. PLEASE don’t become a scientolowacko, Pink! Don’t do it! ❗

What the hell? Is it because scientology is an exclusive “religion” because only people with money to burn are allowed to “progress” in it?

Just because something costs lots of $$ & “all your other” celeb friends are doing it doesn’t mean you have to do it, too, damn it. 🙄

It’s so stupid how celebs treat their religious beliefs like a fashion accessory. Like, “Oh this is the hot religion right now, I’ll join.” then two weeks later, “Well, now everyone is doing THIS religion, so I better switch to that, too.” Get your OWN life, celebs! Don’t just do whatever the “cool” thing is in Hollyweird at the moment. That’s a pretty sucky way to live, if you ask me. 😕

I like her outfit … But thats all sorts of depressing if pink becomes a $cientLOLgist 🙁

  3. vdantev says:

Another scienclownogist? 🙄 Her music is derivative at best anyway.

  4. Ron says:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! You will be a Stupid Girl if you sign up with them!

I’m hoping to hell this isn’t true. I love Pink and would like to think she’s smarter than that.

I’m going to say it’s b.s., though, simply because of the “reason”. If you watch Pink’s video to “So What” you can see that she and Hart are not bitter or angry.

Maybe I’m in denial, lol, but I’m just not gonna believe it! 😛

  6. Kaiser says:

I tend to think Pink might be too well-adjusted for the Scientologists… but I could be wrong.

  7. Mairead says:

Pink… back away from the closet-Thetans… it’s for your own good! 😐

(I really like Juliette Lewis and I totally heart Beck, how do we get them to join the noble ranks of the SPs?)

  8. Trillion says:

I’m still in denial that Beck is one. I’ll give him a wee break because he was born into it. But only Beck gets that break. Because he’s the greatest. I do love Pink’s voice and personality. Let’s all hope it’s a load of crap.

  9. Codzilla says:

Trillion: I’m with you in regards to Beck. But it’s easier to be in denial about his affiliation because he keeps it more private than some of the others.

  10. Trillion says:

And we are so grateful for that fact, Codzilla!

notprfect – Oh, it ain’t exclusive – they’ll let anybody charge up all their credit and mortgage their houses to “progress” to the “bridge” of idiocy. They even teach them in “Financial Management” courses how to request higher credit limits and mortage all their property so they can pour more money into the Cult.

I know this because my friend was engaged to one of these losers. An ordinary (stupid) guy in his 30s, that is in debt now for the rest of his earthly life to the tune of about $100,000 at this point. And he doesn’t even own a house (and won’t, with this on his credit report). Luckily she dumped him, since all he would do is spout $cientology crap that made no sense.

And from the song I heard her sing the other night on the Video awards, she’s pissed at Mr. Hart, bigtime.

I would rather that she believe in an imaginary man in the sky and believe the voices in her head are from some all-powerful God and remain a laughably inept & hypocritical Jeebus Crispy.

“It’s so stupid how celebs treat their religious beliefs like a fashion accessory”

i totally agree with you on that-but seeing as this is scientology which is not a real religion but a cult and a popularity contest then let em.

  15. gg says:

Joe, your incredible ignorance is showing. $cientology is not a religion. Google ?? 🙄

  16. Mark says:

It’s sad that these people are so off the map that they have to choose a cult to find meaning in their pathetic lives. They’d be better off if they made up their own religions and belief systems after some searching, reading and meditating.
